I gulped in and stared at both guy’s hands on my wrist.

“Who are you? ”
Hayden asked in his normal calm voice.
“Someone whose job is to protect her so let go of her ”
Aidan growled and Hayden chuckled, revealing his one dimple.
“And who are you to say that? I don’t think you have any right to tell me to let go of her if Sarah isn’t ”
Hayden uttered, calmly again.
It’s a surprise he’s still calm whereas Aidan is fuming in anger like he should just kill him.
“Man, let go of the man. I don’t wanna spill blood ”
Aidan smirked but Hayden’s one was h-rder.
“What makes you think you can handle me? ”
Hayden shrugged, letting go of my hand and going closer to Aidan.
Oh God! Tell me this ain’t happening, hope they’re not doing what I think they wanna do?
“Really? Are you daring me? ”
Aidan smirked, also leaving my hand to stand on the same page with Hayden.
“Stop it both of you! ”
I scre-med, stepping between them immediately before this turns into something I can’t control.
“What’s wrong with you Aidan? What’s your freaking problem? Are you trying to start a fight right here? ”
I growled , staring into his eyes.
They soften and I melt immediately. I was gonna say something else but I couldn’t even say anything. Just looking at his eyes takes my senses away.
I looked away and looked back at Hayden to avoid Aidan’s eyes. They are doing something to me and I hate it.
“Let’s go.. ”
I muttered to Hayden and he grabbed my wrist, pushing me through the crowd.
We climbed the stairs and we’re on the rooftop.
He loves rooftops.
“Why do you love rooftops? ”
I muttered, moving to stand before the city light.
“Because they’re cool and I love privacy sometimes without having girls trying to f-ck me ”
He gro-ned and I chuckled, shaking my head.
“Now let’s talk about you. That Aidan guy, he’s the one you were talking about that gave you a hickey, right? ”
He asked, turning to me and I sighed, breathing out before nodding.
“Bummer. He’s quite possessive though. Are you guys together now? I also always sees him around you in school ”
He raised his brows, starring into my eyes. His eyes are quite intimidating.
“Yes and he’s my bodyguard. That’s why he’s always around me”
I shrugged and he chuckled.
“That’s quite hærd. Having unrequited feelings for someone you see everyday ”

I scrunched my nose tighter and he chuckled.

He chuckled and I watched his dimple appear and disappear.
“Can I ask you a question? ”
I muttered, looking at him and he looked at me for a while before nodding.
“Who are you really? I know you’re Hayden with the hot looks and beautiful sound that makes every girl w-t in their p-nts but that’s not all right? You’re not even using a last name in school. Who are you? ”
I asked.
“Except you. You’re the only girl that doesn’t seem shaken whenever I appear and I’m truly amazed ”
He winked and I rolled my eyes.
“Don’t try and hide the question, Hayden ”
I crossed my arms against my chest and he sighed, looking back at the city lights.
“You don’t wanna know me, kitty. It’ll ruin me, trust me. It’s better off if you don’t ”
I walked up to him and stood beside him.
“You told me its dangerous if I get involved with you and yet, here we are standing over a rooftop talking so I don’t think there’s any thing wrong if you tell me besides I can handle a little danger ”
I winked and he chuckled, turning to me again.
“Okay, let’s put it like this. I’m a guy whose family is messed up and whose family is good at destroying other people’s lives. So I ran away with the aim of being a better person but turns out you can’t outrun your destiny ”
He sighed and I also did.
“That’s why you don’t have a last name? ”
“If people know my last name kitty, they would run whenever they hear my name. Especially you ”
He smirked and I raised my brows.

His breath covered my face and I gro-ned. I’m feeling uncomfortable.

I muttered, breaking eye contact with him.

He smirked and my breathing hitched. As weird and f-cked up as it sounds, I don’t really wanna k-ss any other guy apart from Aidan.

He gro-ned, trailing his fingers down my cheek and I closed my eyes unconsciously to his touch.
I squealed under as his l-ips descended on mine. Shit!

Hayden let go of me immediately we heard that voice and he pulled me behind him immediately.
There were five hefty men and equipped with guns. How the hell did they got up here?
“Sorry handsome but we really need to borrow the girl… ”
One of the guys said.
“Who are you guys? Who the f-ck sent you here? ”
Hayden growled and they chuckled before shooting him in his arm.

I scre-med, going down as he gro-ned in pain.

They growled but Aidan brought out a gun and shot two of the guys.
I gasped, why is he with a gun?
The man shot his other arm and I gasped, standing up.
I kicked one of the man, leaving only two.
I punched one and before I could turn to the other, I was hit with a gun on my head.
I gasped as my vision became blurry.
“SARAH!!!!!!! ”
I heard Hayden yelled before I passed out.

I can’t believe she went with that guy.
I wanted to follow her but I knew that was only gonna make her more angry. Though I feel restless, I just feel like being beside her every single time at least till we get back home.
I know she’s angry at me but what can I do?
Even I myself, I’m confused about my own feelings.
One minute, I don’t wanna think about any other thing but just her. Only her, I just want to be with her and the second minute, I want her to just stay far far away from me cause I’m afraid I’ll hurt her.
I’m not capable of these feelings and I hate that I feel this way in the first place.

“I thought you guys said he’s with Sarah. Sarah isn’t with him and he looked hurt I think ”
I didn’t waste another second, I ran up to him.
“Where the hell is she?! ”
I gro-ned, losing my mind slowly. I knew it! I knew I shouldn’t have let her go but she’s just goddamn stubborn!

“They.. They took her ”
He uttered breathlessly and that was when I noticed his two arms were bleeding.
“What do you mean by they took her ? Who the hell took her and why couldn’t you stop it? I knew I shouldn’t have let her go with you! ”
I growled, punching the rail in anger.
“I don’t know! I don’t f-cking know! Do I look okay to you? I was shot two times. How was I supposed to stop them? ”
He gro-ned.
“We need to find her. Okay? ”
I gro-ned and he hissed.
“We? I’m not working with you. You find her your way. I’ll find her my way, whoever finds the girl first ”
He gro-ned, holding tightly unto his shot arms.
“And how the hell do you attempt to find her when you’re looking like that? Look, I hate you okay? But I need to find her tonight. You are the reason she’s kidnapped in the first place so I assume you put your stupid ego away and let’s find the girl ”
I gro-ned , messing up my hair.
Gawd! I’m going insane.
“I don’t work with people Aidan. I’m the reason she’s kidnapped which is why I’ll save her and I don’t mind if I die while doing that.
I won’t stop until I find her and if it means killing every damn person in this goddamned country, I don’t f-ckin care as long as I find her! ”
He muttered and walked away.
Sarah, why? Why couldn’t you just have listened to me? I need to find her no matter what it costs.
I called Garry and he picked on second ring.
“Sarah is missing. Don’t let the president know, take some men and meet me at the school ”
I breathed out, hanging up the phone.

I gro-ned as I got in my car and drove to my house, as hærd as it was. I need to get home.
I entered the penthouse and came out of my car as I walked in,side.
Sam ran to me immediately he saw me.
“Damn man. What happened to you? ”
He asked, walking me to the couch.
“Put a call across to dad… ”
I gro-ned, shutting my eyes. This thing hurts like hell.
“What? Why would you want to? ”
He asked crossing his arms.
“I need to save someone ”
“Don’t tell me this is about that Sarah girl again ”
He uttered irritatedly and if it wasn’t that I’m weak. I would have punched him across the face.
“Yes it is and I don’t have any time. I need to find her immediately! She’s in f-ckin danger because of me! ”
I yelled, getting angry.
“Just how far are you willing to get yourself into danger just cause of this girl? You know what happens when your father finds out ”
I breathed out, clearly frustrated.
“I don’t care. I just need to protect her, as long as she’s safe. Nothing else matters ”
I gro-ned, shutting my eyes again.
“You know your father will kill you if he finds out ”
“I’m willing to take the risk. Just put the funking call across ”
I yelled again.
“You’re willing to die for a girl whom the moment she finds out who you are, won’t hesitate to kill you ”
He scoffed.
“Sam, you won’t understand ”
“Then make me understand Hayden. Make me. You’re bleeding, almost out of life, you’re not even thinking about yourself or the bullets in your arms. You’re thinking about some f-cking stupid girl who gives no damn about you!
You’re willing to call on the devil and put yourself in danger just cause of this girl. Are you crazy, Hayden? ”
He yelled and I stood up, gro-ning.
“Yes Sam! Yes, I’m Going crazy and I’ll never be okay if I don’t find the girl so put a call to the f-cking Sebastian! ”
I yelled and he gro-ned before breathing out and taking the phone.
“Hello sir,… No.. I mean Sir Hayden will like to speak to you ”
He gave me the phone and I gro-ned before taking it.
“so why did my son decided to call me after all these years? ”
I gro-ned and rolled my eyes.
“I need your help. Your man’s help actually. I need to find someone and I know you can do it Sebastian so don’t refuse ”
I shut my eyes as Sam tried to get the first bullet off my arm.
“Who do you need to find and what’s in it for me? ”
“For once dad. For once in your f-cking stupid life, just act like a good father and help me. About the person, it’s none of your business. Just send your man and please, don’t try to play smart with me ”
He chuckled on the other side and I want to rip it off him.
“Fine. I’ll send them but the person must be so important to you for you to have dared to call me ”
I gro-ned and cut the call, the same time Sam removed the bullet.
Whoever did this choose the wrong person to mess with.
“Let’s go ”
I muttered to Sam.
“But you need to rest ”
“Now! ”
I growled and grabbed two guns more with the one with me.

“Rana, I need to leave. Will you be okay with your bodyguard? ”
Aidan asked and I raised my brows.
“Why? Where are you going? What’s wrong? ”
I asked and he sighed.
“Sarah is missing and we need to find her ”
He uttered and I gasped.
“What, Sarah is missing but how? I thought you were with her ”
I muttered.
“I’ll explain later. I just need to leave right now. I told you cause you might wanna be looking for us. If I don’t get back before the party ends. Just go home and please Rana, don’t tell the president about this. If he ask, cook up something ”
I nodded immediately and he smiled softly before leaving.
I turned to the girls with a smirk before hugging them.
“Good job guys. I’m proud of us now that bitch is gonna learn her lesson ”
I smirked.
My phone rang and I took it out.
“Boss, we’ve the girl ”
I smiled h-rder.
“I know, I’ll be there soon. Just make sure she doesn’t escape ”
I smirked and cut the phone.
Don’t worry Aidan, you won’t be able to save Sarah. Not this time.
