➿Two days later➿
I carried a bouquet of fresh, sweet smelling rose in my hand. I nodded crisply, In reply to some nurse’s greetings.
I was feeling very light with happiness. I was glad that Kelly was back to me, two days ago I thought I had lost her forever.
I walked into her ward, it was a VIP ward, I made sure that there were guards stationed at the door.
I walked into the ward still smiling, I glanced at Kelly, she was still not conscious, the doctor said that she would be awake today. I became a little scared. I arranged the flower on a vase, then I sat down on the chair.
“Kelly? Why don’t you want to wake up?” I said gently, taking her hand in mine. Her hand still had tubes of drips connected to it, I watched her face, her eyes were closed, her face was peaceful.
“I need you to wake up, I miss you, I miss your delicious meals…” I paused and licked my dry l-ips slowly.
“I know I’ve messed up big time, and I know I’ve been a fool not to realize this soon, but the truth is that.. I…love you…”
I took a deep breath and shut my eyes tightly, feeling like as though a heavy burden had been moved off my chest.
Of course I loved her, I just wish I’d have the courage to tell it to her when she wakes up. I felt her hands tighten around mine.
“Awwwn…” I opened my eyes. She was awake and smiling at me.
“How rom-ntic?” Her hands tightened more, her smile w¡dened.
“You’re awake?” I said lamely, feeling embarrassed. “How do you feel now?”
“Great, superb!” She tried to sit up but I prevented her by pressing her shoulders.
“Don’t, you should get some rest. I’ll call the doctor.” I made to stand up, she held my arm.
“Don’t go, stay with me, I’ve missed you badly, I thought I’d never see you again…” She dragged me down towards her.
“Kelly…you’re…”
“k-ss me…please…” She begged, making puppy eyes at me, I grinned and stroked her face with my hands.
God! I’ve missed her so much.
I leaned forward to her, my hands supporting my weight, and I k-ssed her gently on the l-ips. She k-ssed me back too, quite hungrily and began to tug at my shirt. I stopped her gently.
“Kelly, you should get strong first…you’re in no condition for such..erh…vigorous activity…”
Her face turned a shade darker.
“Ahem…did we interrupt something?” I recognized the ever annoying voice of my sister.
“Kori!!” Kelly squealed in delight, stretching out her arms, Kori moved daintily towards her and they both embraced each other. I smiled, watching them.
“My baby!” As you can guess, that’s Kelly’s mom. I stepped aside and watched the happy reunion, my heart was threatening to burst out in happiness.

I was discharged from the hospital, I was finally happy, everyone was happy why would I not be happy?
The police discovered Derek’s real identity, his real name was Jason Waters, he escaped from the mental asylum about two years ago, he changed everything about himself, he dyed his hair white blond, and put blue contact lens on his eyes.
He had been doing drugs since his escaped, it was from his drug dealing that he met Dominic.
How he met April?
I don’t know, I guess April or Derek would have told us, but they are dead now, so well, I guess we’ll never find out…
Jenny was buried quietly a week after I was discharged from the hospital, I was very sad as I watched them lower her casket into the earth.
Kori put her arms around me, with a little smile of understanding playing on her l-ips.
After the funeral, I felt somber, so I retired to my room. Life has not really been fair to me, the my loved ones had been taken away from me, how do I start afresh?
I hugged my pillow, snuggling deeper into the bed.
I heard a knock on the door,
“Come in.” I called out, not having the strength to stand up to open the door. The door opened an inch and danny poked his head into the room.
“Hey.” He smiled at me, my l-ips automatically stretched on it’s own will.
“Hey…” I mumbled back.
“Are you busy now?” He took a step into the room. I sat up in bed, pushing off strands of hair sticking in my face.
“No, no, come in, come here…” I patted the bed.
He raised a brow.
“I have a surprise for you…”
“Surprise?” I raised a brow, he looked really nervous. What surprise could that be? But still he looked really adorable.
“Yeah…uhm..gimme a sec…” He stepped out of the room. My curiosity had awaken now. I glanced at my reflection on my phone screen.
The door opened and danny came in again, holding…
Gosh!
A little puppy that looked exactly like creamy. There was a fancy ribbon attached on the dog’s neck.
My heart melted like butter.
The creamy furs, the polished nails… The glint in his eyes… There were just so alike.
“Oh my god!” I felt tears sting my eyes.
Oh my god!!
“I know he’ll never ever, ever replace creamy, but I just want you to have him…” Danny was saying.
The dog barked,
It was so adorable. I carried it in my arms, it licked my face. I laughed as tears rolled down my eyes.
“Creamy…” I whispered, hugging the dog tightly. “I love it…” I told danny, smiling at him.
“Well I’m glad you like it…” He scratched his forehead.
“Come here, you’re so sweet…” I dropped the dog gently on the bed, and pulled him to me.
“Thank you.” I pressed my l-ips to his in a passionate k-ss, I let all my emotions flow, happiness, gratitude, nostalgia…
My hands circled his neck as I pulled him into the bed,my l-ips never leaving his.
He pulled away from the k-ss and looked into my face.
“What?” I asked as I blushed. I just want to k-ss him all day, but damn, he’s nervous.
“I never got the chance to tell you how I feel about you.” He paused and licked his l-ips, while I held my breath, my heart thudding wildly in my chest.
“The truth is that I love being around you, everything about you just drives me crazy, I can’t ever get enough of you, you amaze me everyday, I want to be by your side all the time, and…and…I love you Kelly…”
He took a deep breath after saying all that.
My heart grew big in this emotion called love. I dragged him to me again, our foreheads pressed together as I stared into his eyes.
“I love you too danny, I love, love love you…” I couldn’t keep off the big wide grin that splayed out on my l-ips.
We k-ssed again, I felt happy, I’ve never felt this happy before…
I pulled away from the k-ss and began to laugh. He joined me, we both laughed, holding on to each other. I laughed, who would have thought that I’d fall in love with Daniel Williams? Who’d have thought that he would love me back?
I leaned forward to k-ss him again, but a loud barking stopped us. I turned to creamy with a smile.
My smile froze on my l-ips as I looked at the dog.
The dog was holding a note and a bouquet of flower between his teeth.
I gently eased out the note from his teeth and glanced at it.

I gasped loudly and turned to look at danny. He was already kneeling down on one knee, holding a little ring.
I held out my left hand to him,
“Yes, yes..I’ll be your girlfriend..” I said breathlessly.
I can’t believe this is happening, I felt the ring slip into my finger.
He stood up and hugged me.
“I love you danny!” I k-ssed him on the l-ips again, my hands tightening around his neck.
We heard loud clapping and cheering.
Mom, Amber, dray god, Kori all came in came in cheering and clapping.
I laughed, my voice tinkled through the room.
I’m the happiest girl in the world right now…

Kelly had her first live concert a month after, she became very confident about herself and her talents.
She got major deals and contracts from some high ranking companies.
Her career blossomed, She released many cool, hot music and won many awards
The next year, she got admitted into college where she continued her education.
Well, Damian and Amber got reallllly close, they actually began dating. Though their relationsh¡p didn’t last long, due to dray god’s promiscuous lifestyle😁😄
