Bunmi, Bunmi heee your mother is back oh…Yakubu said as he was running to meet her in the bathroom.

Immediately Bunmi heard, they both run through the back door almost half unclad.

Bunmi, Bunmi , oh my goodness ,this girl will not kill me ,her mum scre-med

Mummy what is Brother Yakubu doing in our house this early morning …?? Tinuke asked.

Mama Bunmi didn’t reply Tinuke, she didn’t know what to say, she was dump founded ,she didn’t except Bunmi to behave that way.

Good morning ma, Sarah said as she got to Bunmi house the door was open and Bunmi’s mum was standing and looking confused.

Sarah didn’t get any reply so she greeted her again.
Oh my daughter, morning.
Mummy I came to look for my friend, I had called her before coming, is she at home? ?

Didn’t she tell you, she brought Yakubu to lodge in my house??

I don’t understand ma…
Hmmm so you didn’t know and both of you are best friends??

She has ran away with Yakubu and if you see her, please tell her not to come back, she should move in with him…Bunmi’s mum said angrily.

I have only one daughter now which is Tinuke …
She should never come back to this house, I won’t accept her, she has done enough.

Mummy I don’t still understand, Bunmi told me she was at home when I called her an hour ago.

We wanted to go to church together. ..

Sarah was still trying to process what Bunmi mom was saying but she was still yet to understand or believe, Yakubu stayed at Bunmi’s house for the Weekend and she never mentioned it to her. .

Sarah left Quietly, noticing that Bunmi’s mom was angry.

As she left Bunmi’s house, She got a call from Bunmi.

Hello Sarah where are you, I am at your house. ..Bunmi said over the phone.

Sarah hanged up and quickly went home.
When she got home, Yakubu and Bunmi was at her doorstep .

Why did you bring him here? ??
And why is he still on boxers? ?

Sarah said.

Am so sorry Sarah, I have no where else to go…

You see what I have been telling you? ?
Now your mother is angry towards you.

First you got pregnant for this irresponsible boy who couldn’t defend you and now you are lodging with him in your mother’s house , he can’t even afford a Hotel. .

Yakubu bowing his head facing the ground speechless.

You disappointed me again Bunmi.
‘I thought by now you would have been wiser. .

Look at you now.,you can’t even follow him to his house.

For your information ,your mother said I should tell you never to come home again, that she has only one daughter now. So just prepare to follow Yakubu home because I can’t accommodate you either.

Please Big Sis, let me stay here for some time at least till my mum calms down.

I will go and talk to her then.

No Bunmi you can’t stay here, follow Yakubu to his house, sebi he is your love and he loves you. So why do you want to stay with me ??

Bunmi let’s go, Yakubu said holding her hands.

They both stood up and left .

Why are you dragging my hand? ? Bunmi said as they were leaving. ”

I am taking you home, Yakubu said boldly.

‘She traveled. .

‘Stop asking me so many questions ,lets go ,we will sort things out.

Hmmm me I am afraid oh..
I could remember how your mum treated me the last time, I just hope you will handle things like a man.

Yakubu look at Bunmi frowning. .
‘After a while they got home .

Bunmi wasn’t so comfortable but she had no choice.
‘As soon as she entered the sitting room she saw a girl of same age as Yakubu, who was sitting like she was waiting for someone.

As soon as she saw Yakubu, she started smiling.
Welcome sir, she said.
Yakubu didn’t reply.
He took Bunmi to his room. .

Who is that girl? ?
He didn’t answer. .
Is she related to you? ?’

No he said. .
I am Yakubu betroth and you? ?
She said as she entered the room.

As Bunmi wanted to speak, she quickly cuts in
Don’t worry I know you, the girl who claims she is pregnant for my fiancee right? ?

Bunmi was dumbfounded…
Don’t worry I know your type who wants to reap where she did not sow…

You are not ashamed at you age you’re pregnant for a man who can’t defend you and is with another. Go and look for someone of your age to deceive ,not my man.

Bunmi couldn’t bear the insult and she $lapped her on her face.

They started fighting. ..
Yakubu tried to separate them but they still continued cursing each other.

Mama Yakubu said in a loud voice.

Immediately Bunmi saw her , she became so afraid.

Episode seven

What are you doing in my house ?? mama Yakubu said facing Bunmi

Haven’t I told you I don’t want to see you in this house? ?
My son is not responsible for your pregnancy, go and look for the person responsible, don’t force your pregnancy on my son, he already has somebody he wants to marry.

And you Yakubu why did you bring her here? ?
She said scre-ming

Mummy ,she got into some trouble with her mom because of me and she has no place to stay , Yakubu said

Look I don’t care if she doesn’t have a place to stay, at least she has a mother and even if she doesn’t, I don’t care ,there is no room for her here.

So before I close my eyes and open it , I don’t
want to see you in my house.

As Bunmi was leaving, Yakubu was following her.

And you..facing Yakubu where do you think you’re going ??

Bunmi now realized she is alone on this matter, she can’t go back to her mom and now Sarah doesn’t want to see her.

Tears flowed down her face knowing she was fool thinking Yakubu could help and defend her.

She had no choice but to run back to Sarah.

When she got to Sarah house, Sarah mum was around and they were eating Breakfast.

Bunmi was so hungry she hasn’t eaten since last night.

Sarah your friend is here, Sarah’s mom said.

I don’t have a friend mom, I can’t be friends with her anymore.

Bunmi bowed her head in shame.

No dear don’t talk like that people make mistakes doesn’t make them Bad.

Hmm this one is a bad and a Wicked person, she is so selfish and self centered with no Sense.
I can’t be friends with someone like that.

Hmm ok I will leave you two to sort out yourself.
My dear please come and eat, there is a plate for you, Sarah’s mum said.

Oh mummy you’re even given her food.
You should’ve ate from where you’re coming from.
They even can’t feed you and you are still in love, Stupid girl , Sarah said while collecting the food and adding it to her own.

At least give her something to eat for her baby sake. Her mum said

Does she know that. .
She will still repeat the same thing .
Look Bunmi there is no place here for you until you go and apologise to your mother, then we can be friends again.

Ok I will go, but please give me something to eat.

Sarah pitted her because of what her mum has said and gave her some food.
I am not doing this for you, its because of your baby.

Thank you, Bunmi said as she collected the food from and her and started eating.

After eating , Bunmi decided to go home.

Getting home, Bunmi’s mom was in the sitting room weaving Tinuke’s hair.

As Bunmi entered she quickly knelt down and Started crying.

What are you doing here? ?
Please leave my house. .
You’re are now a grown woman who doesn’t need to take instruction from anyone, so you don’t need my sympathy .
Just leave…mama Bunmi standing up in anger chasing her out of the house and she locked the door.

Bunmi coming towards to the Sitting room window, Mummy please forgive me, am so sorry.

I should’ve listened to you, I don’t know what came over me. Please mummy am so sorry.

Bunmi kept on apologizing but her mum ignored her and continued with Tinuke’s hair.

Bunmi was outside for the wh0le day and soon it was night time.

Mama karimo had come to visit knowing Mama Bunmi had returned.

When she came she met Bunmi outside crying.

She knocked on the door and mama Bunmi opened for her.

My sister please forgive her, if not for anything but because of the baby in her womb.

Mama Bunmi had already narrated everything to mama Karimo as she asked why Bunmi was sitting outside crying.

She can’t stay here anymore she should go to the boy that got her pregnant since she had the guts to bring him here to spend the weekend in my house.

I don’t know what I haven’t done for this girl that a mother should do? ?

She brought shame to me by getting pregnant at a tender age , I still loved her and took care of her.

She was denied and abandoned, I still loved her.

Now this…I can’t take it. .
Am done with her.

She should find her own mother because I don’t think I am the one.

She knew all I went through with her father before he died . I never troubled my parents as much as this girl has done to me. Mama Bunmi said angrily ‘

Please my sister forgive and forget she is still your daughter.

No my sister she need to learn the hærd way, I have been too lenient with her, I can’t take her in , she should pack her things and leave !!
