Now i was surrounded but never was i defeated even though i had the ultimate feeling of me being surrounded by several beasts coming from the loud snarls.

Preparing for the worst wa no problem but seeing the worst was the problem, a beast emerged times three my height, a beast of four glowing eyes, a beast whose fur was as dark as the night and eyes as bright as the sun. It was a four legged wolf with 4 eyes but by the time i decided to strike i noticed that the others came out as huge as the first that i had seen.

I raised my sword and got ready for a mixture of magic spell and true martial art skill, i closed my eyes as i got ready to battle..

In a blink they charged at me in multitudes, i levitated upwards firing an ice blast towards them but it had very little effect. One of beast jumped towards but i dodged as i landed on the floor. I marched the floor making a straight crack that showed and several ice spikes built up killing some of the beast right from underneath, i ran and did a front roll while one of the beast tried biting me but i made a quick force field even though it wasn’t that powerful.

Immediately i step on the beast head as it threw me to the sky, i came back falling freely while i dived for the beast with my head down and sword pointing toward the beast head. My sword moved straight into one of the beast head killing it. Before i could turn another hit me with it giant paw sending me to the floor but i iced the floor as i landed sliding before gaining my balance i looked and saw the beasts that i had killed and assumed dead standing up and getting healed again.

“This is bad” I said as i looked around and saw that they didn’t surround me this time but were all at my front looking at me with teeth that sparkled.

“You guys want a piece of me” i said

Before i could react an invisible force grabbed me and threw so hærd that i created a deep hole in the ground and had some dislocated bones.

“Alright enough is enough” i said as i fixed my bones and jumped out of the hole landing with one knee as i looked at the beasts.

“You might be much but can you feel my true power” i said with a smile.

“Bring it on josh” The beasts said at once making their voice sound like thunder

“So you all can speak” I said and laughed

“Too bad you won’t even be able to move once am done” I said with a smirk😏

They charged again at me with full speed but i stood still.

“Ice didn’t work, lets release the flame” I shouted as i stretched my sword towards the beasts turning it into a red hot sword. I charged towards the coming beast and did a quick levitation landing behind them all. I swung my sword horizontally releasing intense flame that came from to ground burning up the tails of those nearer to me. The beast that were burnt scowled in pain while i smiled..

“Am just getting started” I said

And the beast charged again i commanded ice spikes killing some while i sent out flame blasts burning them up. A beast came from behind me and jumped at me trying to crush me with it mouth but i rolled away sending my hot red sword into one of it eyes before cutting of it fore limbs in a single slash.

All the other beast looked at me and still had the audacity to charge at me again i charged towards them , turning the floor to ice and letting the whole of them fall sliding towards me at fast speed but i jumped over them melting the ice with my flame power as i burned them at the same time..

The remaining beasts saw this and scampered away while i faced the dying ones, i sent my hot sword hærd into their necks killing them and cutting of their head..

“So they are all immune to ice and cold” I said looking at them..

“Your furs will be good” I said as i skinned them all ripping their fur and using it for cloths.

“Thank Goodness old man Johnson taught me how to use the animal fur” I laughed drying the fur with extreme heat but not burning them. I released flames from my hands as i burnt all the dead beast to produce more light for the camp and more warmth.

I began stitching a new fuzzy fur wear for me incase if we approached an extreme cold area. While i sat down to begin imagining life with a wife.

I got distracted as i opened my hands and saw flames on my right while ice was on my left.

“Hot and Cold” i said as i laughed shaking it off..

I packed up the fur that i had stiched up, don’t be surprised i am a fast stitcher it’s all in the magic..

“I need a bag to pack all of this” i said.

“Well never mind” I said as i started to feel dizzy.

I sat down and looked at the stars for some while trying to stay awake which was a problem on it own..

Luckily someone came out and decided to watch while i took some rest.

That morning, i was still asleep when cold water poured on my red cloth i looked around to see that they had gone already and the guy that poured the water was the one that came out to help.

“Where are they” I asked

“They left us here while they continued their journey” The guy said

“What” i shouted

“Get going i will meet you” I said as i stood up and packed what i had stitched into a bag that wasn’t good but i dropped it at the horse back while the guy rode fast leaving me behind..

“I can’t believe they did this to me even catherine” I said in anger.

I placed blaze into it sheath and packed my wine jar onto the horse along with my bow and arrows.

I began to move but my horse moved slowly and couldn’t run that fast then i discovered that someone stabbed it leg and it was losing blood..

“Shit!!” I shouted i held my head thinking of what to do

“Healing ice” i said remembering my fifth lesson with old man johnson

I took the horse foot and did the spell closing up it wound, i packed my bags well and arranged things again in a much better way.

“Eyaaa” I shouted the horse rode slowly at first then suddenly the speed was so fast that it was times 5 of a normal horse speed.

“Come on boy” I shouted riding so fast.

I passed the guy that left me as he tried to keep up with me then suddenly i approached a valley and stopped. I looked down and saw that it had a small village with only one flame burning in it while there was nothing else..

“Wait up” The guy called out while he reached me.

“I thought you would have reached them by now” I asked

“Of course i would have but someone stabbed my horse” He said furiously

I got down from my horse and fixed his horse leg.

“Where did you think they went” i asked

“Into that village or they should be somewhere near it” He said.

“Should we go after them” i asked

“Of course” He said

“After what they did” i said with a scoff

“I know but they could have appreciated what you did yester night” He said

“You saw what i did” I asked

“You were pretty amazing but they didn’t appreciate cause they all slept off some even had s××” He said shocking me.

“What!!” I shouted in fury..

My hair started growing longer but not downward.

“What is happening to me” I s¢ræmed

“Just take a deep breath” He said which i did and it stopped and reduced

“Those beast were ferocious” I said

“Yeah i know that” He said

“Let just go meet them, they have the map” He said

“Wait” I replied touching the soil to see the past what happened to know if they had passed here

“Ok lets move” i said as i rode my horse slowly

“To be sincere this village looks suspicious” He said to me

“I also observed that” I said

We reached the village gate but before i decided to ride in,side all i saw was emptiness in the whole village..

I touched the soil and saw the past.

They were taken by several people who were dressed in armour and had weapons of varies.

“This is no village” I whispered to the guy

“What is it?” He asked quietly

“This village is a fort” I said.

“That means they’ve been captured” He asked

“I think” i said

“What do we do” He asked

“Don’t worry i have a plan” i said giving him a wink with a wide smile.

“Now here is my plan” I said with a wink.

“Why the wink” He asked.

“Just a plan advance move”, I said with a smile.

“So what is the plan”, He asked again getting down from his horse.

I brought out a rope and tied his hands to his amazement and curiosity he looked stunned.

“What are you doing” He asked

“Keep quiet slave you must be sold” I shouted as i jumped on my horse and and wore my stitched fur.

“Look you are a slave act like one, you got that right” I whispered to him

“Ok, but if anything goes wrong, bet it am killing you” He said

“By the way, what is your name?” I asked him

“Just call me Kane” He said

“Lets move, we scan the area first for where they are” I said while i tapped the horse and moved into the quiet village.

We walked into the village slowly as i watched for any signs of life it was just to quiet. Then i was about speaking to Kane when i suddenly heard a creak and a stretch sound.

“Who goes there” A voice said echoing

“It is i” I replied again

“What is your business here” The voice said again

“I am a slave trader” I shouted

“Kill him” The voice shouted as i looked behind and saw that Kane had been taken away.

Sighs”looks like they aren’t the bad guys maybe the rebels or whatsoever” i said as i looked disturbed.

Immediately tapping my horse as i rode through the village looking for the exit, i could see several soldiers coming outta nowhere as they rushed towards me. I tapped my horse and rode fast while the soldiers surrounded me with spears and swords, i immediately rammed through them all letting my horse do it damage as it crushed them under it hoofs,the hind limbs of the horse hit those behind sending two behind nd it down to floor while i rode away escaping but still in the village.

“Scanning gone wrong” i said with smile as i rode on and outta nowhere came an pierced my back.

“Ouch” i said “That tickles never tickle a beast” i laughed getting down from my horse.

I took my bow and arrow and jumped onto my horse back and did a high jump as i landed on the roof of a village house. I fired my arrows and what followed were s¢ræms of pain.

I could see some soldiers coming towards my site of hide out, i fired them down slowly aiming at there shoulders and legs. Thanks to my fur, it was as dark as the night and provided a good camouflage for me, also protected me from the unknown arrow.

I kept firing untill i heard a lady s¢ræm.

“Did i just hit a lady with my arrow” i said as i jumped down and moved to check while i sat on my horse, still firing my arrows at anyone in sight not aiming to kill but to weaken.

While i moved through the village road i saw hundreds off soldiers and some other people coming from my front i turned back and it was same. My left and right also was filled with armed soldiers. Without further movement i dropped my bow and arrows and got ready ti unleash my magical powers..

“Josh!” i heard Catherine shout.

I looked around to see her and verily verily i identified her.

“He is one of us” Catherine said

I looked around and saw Kane approaching towards me from the midst of people.

“Well done” He said

“What?” I asked

“Nice plan” He said again

“I thought they were captured” I said in defence

“Very good of you Mr man in the fur” He said

“What happened” I asked

“You just injured 200 soldiers and the daughter of the leader of the rebels” He said

“Wow, never knew i was this good” I said

“Kill him” A soldier shouted as he threw a spear towards my back.

I dodged it as i rolled down my horse and in anger, i faced the soldiers as my two hands burned with flame and my hair grew longer and upward. My body was also filled with red aura while i looked at the soldiers in fury before cooling my self with the ice spell by the time i had done that my eye brows were now white in colour while my hair still maintained it colour.

“Enough drama the leader calls you” Kane said while i moved over to my horse and climbed on top heading for the location. As i rode i saw Melvin and Catherine with the others who looked at me like i owed them an apology, i ignored the look in their eyes but not before giving them my burning eye look.

Took us three minutes to get to the rebel leader home and from outside i could see all those that were injured by my arrows been treated while my arrow laid on the floor.

I looked at my arrows and snapped finger letting the arrows float back into their shiver while the others looked in amazement.

“He is here” One of the soldiers said while another carried the message into the leader home.

“Can’t believe you guys left me behind” I said to Melvin and catherine

“Am sorry i didn’t want to” Catherine pleaded

“Yeah but you did” I interrupted

“We knew we were approaching a rebel village, why did you attack?” Melvin asked

“You know what, when you are in real danger don’t expect me to think of saving you” I said

“Like i needed your help ever”, He replied with a scoff, i looked at catherine and back at Melvin before turning back to see the leader of the rebels walking toward me..

“So you are the soldier”, He said in a deep voice

“Am no soldier” I quickly slotted in

‘Your arrows are deadly you injured a large group of my men and even my daughter” He said

“Awnnn, sorry big man didn’t know that” I replied

“Welcome to the Village fort, i am Oshimov” He said as he waved his hands in a magical manner.

“Ok, Well i am Blacksmith Josh” I said

“You all are welcome to join me in,side, we have several news to share” Oshimov said

I grabbed my horse reins as it followed me while i kept moving on foot.

“There are Hundreds of room in my house you all can spend the night here, your journey is going to be brutal”, Oshimov said

I tied my horse to a really strong pole, while i unpacked everything from it back and carried it in,side..

“Show them to their room” Oshimov said to his maids

I was shown my room and to be sincere it was quite spacious with an extraordinary interior design.

“Did you guys bring me to the Royal room” I joked while i dropped the bags and found a good s₱0t for my jars of wine. Remember that i had frozen some and the one i was to drink was cold..

I decided to explore this magnificent abode of mine, i had not gone so far before i saw a curtain to my left. To my curiosity it was the bathroom and it was so majestic.

A knock sounded on my door.

“Yes, who goes there?” I asked as i approached the door.

“Oshimov as called for your attention in the village hall along with others too” A lady voice said, am really sure it was one of the maids.

“Tell him i will be there” I replied

“Ok” She replied

I didn’t waste another time, i took a nice bath and wore my red cloth with the hood and mask while i took blaze along with me and a jar of wine. I made sure my peacock feathers were also safe hiding them well in my room.

“I need to get a new bag” i said but decided to take two peacock feather along with me.

I walked out of my room, making sure blaze was strapped to my back and my room was secured before exiting for the village hall.

“Welcome” Oshimov said at the sight of me.

I looked and saw the others also feasting and drinking.

“Yes” I said as i sat on my sit and hit the table with my jar of wine.

“Pour him some wine” Oshimov said

“No need for that, i got my personal wine here” I said

“Well, I thought we are all here to discuss, how to take down the dark king” I said immediately sparking great silence in the entire hall all that could be heard was the sound of the wind.

“Yes, Melvin you act like the leader lay down a plan and Oshimov you can do a collaboration with him to get this Dark king of a thing outta my business, i need to go back and make sure my last family knows am not dead” I said

“You have said well josh” Oshimov said

For years we have rebel and tried all means to destroy this dark king but he seems impenetrable with Dark magic and several stuff..

“Well our mission is to go to Mount Vernon for the gem” I said

“What!!” Oshimov laughed as he looked at his soldiers who were also laughing hærd.

“What so funny?” I said as i opened my jar of wine to begin my drinking.

“Thou which you seek is also impenetrable like the Dark king” Oshimov said

“What do you mean” Another asked him

“I lost two thousand men who tried getting the same Gem by getting to Mount Vernon, it is a popular story that the gem is the weakness of the Dark king, so it is the most protected place in the Dark empire” Oshimov said

“What do we do now” Catherine said

“We get there through stealth mode” Melvin said

“Right stealth” Kane said

“How far is the dark empire from here” I asked

“Really far and the shortest cut are protected by the Dark dynasty and am sure you don’t wanna encounter their blades” Oshimov said

Everyone looked at each other and none replied

“Miss High Priestess you got the Map check out if you got something good for us” I said

“Well he is right about the short cut but the long cut are dangerous not with the dark dynasty but with several creatures” She said

“No wonder it isn’t guarded so people are discouraged from making any assault, we shall pass the long route” I said

“The long route cuts open a path to the side of the dark empire” Catherine said

“That is good, so which path do you guys wanna follow” Melvin said

“Dummy it is the long cut” I said as i stood up..

An unknown arrow came out of no where and almost pierced my shoulder but i caught it and looked at the direction.

“Who shot this arrow” I asked looking at Oshimov

“I don’t know probably the soldiers for revenge” Oshimov said

Another arrow came almost piercing me but i did a back flip landing on the table while the arrow hit Kane arm. A sudden feminine gasp was heard from the dark where the arrow was fired from.

“Is that” Oshimov said

“Too late” I said

As i levitated towards the air with my ice spell on my hand, as i twirled avoiding the arrows as i advanced into the dark area to hear someone start running.. I landed and saw the.person run away but i didn’t waste anytime as i slid through very fast with my ice spell overtaking the person and grabbing her by the w–st.

“Leave me alone” A female voice shouted

“Keep quiet” i replied as my hand turned to flames i brought it over her fave to see what she looked like.

“You must be the daughter of Oshimov” I asked

“Yes i am” She said

“Really beautiful” I laughed carrying her to her father

“Looks like the shooter was your daughter” I said

“I already knew that” Oshimov said

I dropped the daughter down and walked away..

“Let us prepare tomorrow we move” I said while walking away to my room

“Josh but we have other rebel villages” Oshimov said

“You wanna gather them so be it” I said walking out to have a good rest

“Josh” Catherine called out again

Please i need rest” i said walking away with my jar of wine

“What were you thinking Milan?” Oshimov asked his daughter

“Just wanted to attack him” She replied with a smile as she got up from my sit and walked away.

“Prepare the Rebel villages tomorrow for the meeting” Oshimov ordered

“Yes sire” The soldier replied

“Didn’t any one realize i am injured” Kane shouted

“Clean his wound” Oshimov ordered the maids

“You all need to get rest” He said again

“Don’t even know what is wrong with Josh” Catherine said to Melvin

“Performing the Mission is much more better than falling for him” Melvin said with a wink

“You should get some rest” Melvin said

“Am not sure i can” Catherine said

“Why” Melvin replied

“Am too tired to move” Catherine said

“Then i will carry you” Melvin said as he grabbed her and carried her to her room.

“Please keep company me tonight” Catherine said

“Don’t worry i will gladly do so” Melvin said with a wink

Meanwhile in Josh room.👀👀

He was singing the songs old man Johnson taught him while he kept drinking his wine filled with merriment. He dropped blaze somewhere while he fell on the bed singing.

A knock was heard on the door over and over again. Sounding consecutively.

“Who is there?” He asked as he stood up drunk and tired and only with his trousers.

He stumbled towards the door and opened it to see a surprise person on his door way.

“Oh shit” Josh said.
