✮ CHAPTER 3🦋: INSECURE ✮

“What is the meaning of this Camila?” Nathaniel snapped angrily.

“The right thing” Camila replied.

“Unlock this sh*t now.. What if I need to pee?” He ranged angrily.

“You are right but-”

“Unlock it already… before I really loosed it!” Nathan spatted.

Camila shook her head crossing her head adamantly.

“I don’t trust you Nathan…. What if you f*ck someone else” She muttered

“I promise I won’t… You’re really taking my love for you for granted…”

“I still don’t trust you… Why can’t you just go with it?” Camila insisted.

“I’m late already… Just this once okay?” Nathan begged and Camila sighed softly.

“Fine, On one condition” She said,still crossing her arms.

“What is it? Anything?”

“I’ll come with you” Camilla smiled.

“Fine” Nathan said and she finally unlocked it.

Nathaniel sighed softly.

“Let’s go” Camila grabbed his hand,pulling him out of the restroom.

Liam and Luna were still waiting when they got outside.

“What took you so long?” Liam questioned his eyes darting to Camilla.

“What happened inside? Gist me?” Luna giggled while Camila just smiled.

Her eyes met with Liam’s own again and she quickly looked away.

“What’s his problem really?” He thought inwardly.

“Let’s just meet up at the SILVER HOUSE TONIGHT. We have to go” Camila interlocked thier hands pulling him out of the restaurant.

“You too!” Luna asked Nathaniel.

“Yeah… Bye!” They both enter the car and drove off.

“Camila will never change” Luna said as they watch them leave.

“I know right” Liam responded.

Luna turn to him,she crossed her arms glaring at him.

“What?”

“Why did you keep staring at Camila that’s way. Don’t tell me you still like her?” Luna exclaimed loudly.

“What if I still do? Aren’t you still crushing on Nathaniel till now” Liam answered and Luna Blinked.

“I’m not…..” She stuttered.

“Really now?” Liam grinned.

“Yes. Besides that’s since Highschool. I’ve move on from him yunno” Luna rolled her eyes.

“I see you really moved on. That’s why you never had a boyfriend for once cos you are always thinking about him” Liam teased.

“Stop it” Luna snapped.

“See, You can’t even deny it” Liam laughed.

“You are just talking nonsense. See you later at SILVER HOUSE by 8. Bye!” Luna walked out. She got into her car and drove away.

“I’m really going crazy” Liam ruffled his hair and walked out too,he ignited his engines and drove off too.

GARCIA’S HOLDINGS

“Sir James team is planning to present the new project to the board already” Xavier announced and Nathaniel furrowed his eyebrows.

“What? Why wasn’t I aware of this?”

“His new secretary brought up the idea. We can’t meet up.. I’m sorry” Xavier bowed lightly.

“It’s okay… You can take your leave” Nathaniel said and Xavier left.

Nathaniel turn to Camila who has been staring at the window the whole time without a word.

He walked up to her and hug her from behind.

“What are you thinking about?” He kiss her neck and she turned to him.

“It’s going to be 5 years today” Camila said slowly.

“F*ck Babe. I’m sorry.. I didn’t remember. I’m really sorry we could have visited them or something,How do I make it up to you… Anything?”

“It’s okay.. Its only gonna bring back sad memories.. I would rather not remember” Camila sniffs fighting back her tears.

“I’m sorry….” Nathaniel hug her, and she finally let it all out.

“I miss them all” Camila hiccuped in tears.

“I’m always here for you… Okay?” Nathaniel assured as she wrapped he hands around him tightly.

LATER~SILVER HOUSE

Luna stepped into the rec room, a space that had been a favorite hangout spot for her and her friends for years. It was a large, airy space, with high ceilings and large windows that let in plenty of light.

There was a pool table in the corner, next to a bar that was stocked with all sorts of drinks and snacks. The walls were covered with framed photos of the friends, taken over the years.

In one corner, there was a ping pong table, and next to it was a foosball table. In the middle of the room, there was a large sectional couch.

Luna sat down on the couch and looked around the room. So many memories came flooding back to her – the hours spent playing games with her friends, the inside jokes, the secrets shared, the laughter and the tears.

She felt a pang of sadness as she thought about how much had changed since the last time she had been here.

She took a sip of the brandy and let the smooth, rich flavor roll over her tongue. She closed her eyes, savoring the moment and letting the memories wash over her.

“This place haven’t changed a bit” She smile as she rubbed a picture frame of four kids. Two boys and Two girls. She dropped it and took the second one.

The picture of thier graduation in both highschool and college,She smile and drop it.

Her eyes caught something at a corner in the room,her eyes widened.

“This is still here” She muttered and rushed to the Piano. She sat and started playing it slowly.

“I can’t believe it’s still here” She giggles as she remembered when she use to play it with Nathaniel.

Even before they became four.. She and Nathaniel as always been best friend cos apparantly, thier parent are besties and they want to matchmakd them since they were kids.

Only that Nathaniel never feel the same way. She never really had any chance to confess her feelings to him cos he and Camila started dating shortly after they met her (Camila) and Liam.

She was still playing it absent minded when she heard someone clapping from behind and she turned at once.

“Nathaniel” She muttered as he walk to him.

“It’s really nice to see you playing this after all these years. I’m a proud teacher” Nathaniel sat next to her and rough her hair playfully.

“Com’on… How could I forget. It’s one of our best memories together” Luna smiled and Nathan ruffled her hair again.

“Me too Kitten” He chuckled.

“I can’t remember the last time you call me that… I missed it” Luna pouted.

Nathaniel sighed.

“You know how Camilla can be… I don’t want her to break up with me” Nathaniel muttered.

“Speaking of Camila… Why’s not with you? I know how clingy she can be…” Luna asked as they both walk out of the studio.

“You don’t remember what today is?”

“What?” Luna said confusedly.

“It’s thier death anniversary. She want to be alone” Nathaniel mumbled and Luna gasped.

“Oh my goodness! How could I forget such?” Luna lamented bitterly.

“Can you believe I also forgot.. I’m the only she has left and I can’t even remember this things” Nathan said sadly.

“It’s felt just like yesterday.. Still can’t believe they all left her at once. She almost lost it when they died….” Luna sighed and poured the brandy to a cup for Nathaniel also.

He took it and gulp down some of the content before dropping it.

“She feel insecure towards me thinking she might loose me someday” Nathaniel sighed.

“You know how much she is close with Camille and her parents. She was devastated when she lost them all to a car accident….” Luna said and stood up, she walk to the bar and took another bottle,she was almost getting back to him when she tripped on something and started falling.

Nathaniel was quick enough to grabbed her waist but they both staggered on the couch and thier eyes widened at once.

Him on top!

Meanwhile,Camila was just coming in with Liam. The box she was holding fell willing and the beers inside it broke into pieces, her hands,shaking.

Nathaniel and Luna quickly disengaged.

“What’s is going on here?” Camila asked in tears.

✮CHAPTER 4🦋: LET’S BREAK UP✮

“What’s is going on here?” Camilla asked in tears.

Nathaniel immediately rushed to her.

“Babe.. I swear it’s not what you think. Let me explain please” Nathan made an advance to hold her but she threw his hand off.

“I don’t want any explanation from you.. You jerk!! You decided to break my heart on a day like this? You don’t truly love me-” Camilla snapped.

“Babe-”

“Let’s break up” She fired back and rushed out.

“Camilla” Nathan went after her quickly.

“How could you do such a thing” Liam turned to Luna who was still watching the whole scene speechlessly.

“Do you think that’s intentional? He was only helping me from falling” Luna shot angrily.

“Really?”

“Do I owe you an explanation? No? This reunion thing was a whole nonsense.. I’m out of here” She grabbed her bag and left.

Liam sighed before walking out too.

“Camilla!!” Nathan finally reached Camilla,and he grabbed her hand.

“Please listen to me… It’s was an accident believe me” Nathaniel explained but she kept crying.

“I’m sorry… Please don’t break up with me-”

“I need a break Nathaniel.. Let me go” Camila said calmly.

“Camila_

“Let me go” She sniffed and he slowly release her.

“Let me take you home,at least” Nathaniel said.

“No… I can handle myself” She said and started walking away in tears.

She entered her car and drove off.

Nathaniel ruffled his hair and also left the place dejectedly.

CAMILA PLACE

Camila walk in looking half dead.. Her eyes were already swollen due to so much tears.

She fling her bag to and fell on her bed thinking of how she met Nathaniel and Luna earlier.

They were almost kissing and his hand were on her waist and he claimed it was an accident.

Accident!!!

How do they expect her to believe when she knows about Luna’s crazy feelings for him even if she’s good in hiding it.

She open her bag and brought out a picture frame.

Tears roll down her eyes as she hugged it tightly.

“Mom, Dad, Why is my life like this? Don’t I deserve to be loved? Camille you promise not to leave me but you did and now I loose Nathaniel too….Am I cursed” She cried.

“You all are liers!!! You promise not to leave my side but you did… He also promise to stay beside me but he didn’t keep it,,How did I continue living without him from now on?” She said in between tears.

Her phone suddenly beeped and she checked it.

It’s from Nathaniel.

*I’M SORRY LOVE.. GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN WHAT REALLY HAPPENED PLEASE*

*DON’T BREAK UP WITH ME PLEASE, I DON’T WANT TO LOOSE YOU!*

*I’LL GIVE YOU ALL THE TIME YOU WANTED,, I’LL ALWAYS BE HERE WAITING*

*I LOVE YOU*

She finish reading the message and dropped her phone without replying.

“Mum!!” She resumed crying again while hugging her pillow tightly.

NEXT MORNING~NATHAN MANSION

Nathaniel walked out of his mansion only to meet Luna waiting for him outside.

“Luna?” He called as he walked over to her.

“You are going to Camila right?” Luna asked, staring at the flower he was holding.

“Yes…. She is still mad because of what happened” Nathan said sadly.

“I’ll come with you and explain things to her-”

“I would rather go alone,, I don’t want more troubles” Nathaniel cuts in.

“I won’t cause trouble.. I just hates how you have to break up because of me! I just want to help,I promise” Luna blinked cutely and Nathan chuckled.

“You will never change”

“Of course.. Let me go with you please..” She pleaded.

“Alright. Let’s go” He said and they both walked out.

CAMILLA PLACE

Camilla could be seen sleeping soundly but the door bell sound woke her. She hissed constantly as she went to get it.

She didn’t bother checking who is it before opening.

“Camilla” the familiar voice brought her back to reality.

“Liam?” She called surprisedly.

“Can I come in at least?” Liam said and she slowly let go of the door, he entered and she shut the door.

“What are you doing here?” Camilla ask as Liam sat down.

“That’s harsh! Were you expecting Nathan?” Liam asked and Camilla rolled her eyes.

“Don’t mention him here… We already break up” She snapped.

Liam chuckled

“What’s so funny?” Camilla furrowed her brows.

“This isn’t your first time breaking up” Liam replied

“I’m serious this time… I can’t ever forgive him” Camilla hissed and sat next to him.

“He was only saving her from falling… Believe me” Liam explained.

“If I was a minute late… A lot might have happened between them…We all know Luna still had a crush on him” Camilla rolled her eyes.

“That’s before-”

“She still love him… I can feel it” Camilla continue frowning.

“I don’t blame her… I still love you as much as she’s crazy about Nathan” Liam said and Camilla eyes widened.

“Why can’t you choose me instead? I love you a lot Camila.. I’m willing to do anything for you. Just give me a chance to prove that to you-”

“We break up a long time ago… I don’t love you anymore Liam” Camilla cut him off.

“But I still do…” He tried holding her hand but Camilla stood up immediately,her expression changing.

“Please leave Liam” Camila shouted at him.

“Camilla please_”

“Get Out!!!” Camilla yelled.

Liam was about to reply when they both heard a soft knock from the door. They both stopped on track.

“Babe… Are you in? Open the door please” They heard Nathaniel voice from outside.

“Camilla… Can you open this door please?”

Camila start walking towards the door but Liam quickly stood and immediately grabbed her hand,stopping her.

“Don’t go to him… Choose me instead” He whispered and like that… He brought his face closer to hers pressing his lips against her slowly..
