Having a good night sleep is one of the things I love and that is why I also hate anyone who disturbs me when I’m having a good shut eye.
So one Monday morning, I was enjoying a nice slumber with my cat when Morenike woke me up. I was having a beautiful dream but thanks to her, the dream was now gone.

Morenike ➡ Arabinrin ji ! It’s Monday.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Uwaka!!! 🖐
.

Morenike ➡ Wake up jor! We’ll be late for our 8:00am lecture.

Ebinoluwa ➡ F–ck you🖕 and the lecture! I want to sleep some more.

It’s been 2 weeks since we resumed back to Campus and there’s still nothing new or different. Everything was just the same as it was, Morenike on the other hand has a different view about this resumption. She was busy grooving herself with campus life as the days crawled by. I really don’t have any problem with her or anyone enjoying themselves but just this once I would like to try something different.
Despite showing no signs of getting out of bed, Morenike kept bothering and forcing me to wake up, I would have casted a spell on her but I swore years ago never to use my magic on her unless and if it was necessary.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Kílo she nau? Haba, allow me to sleep. School na by force?
.

Morenike ➡ You’re not serious, if you don’t stand up, my elbow will land on your belly.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Try that and the last thing you’ll eve see is the hot boiling pool of lava 🌋.

Morenike ➡ Education is very important in your life.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Not when I have magic.
.

Morenike ➡ Magic kor? Abeg wake up jor. See as you scatter your nyarsh dey sleep. You should learn to sleep properly else you might get raped someone.

Ebinoluwa ➡ The person to do that hasn’t been born yet! I’m not some helpless female that would just let some stranger to as he pleases with me.

Morenike ➡ Whatever, come on now. Wake up. Besides I’m getting worried about you. You’re just living solo. Why can’t you let yourself loose for once and enjoy life? You’re a witch for God’s sake but you’re here living like a human.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Don’t bother me Morenike. I told you I’m fine with my life.
.

Morenike ➡ I highly doubt so. Young ladies your age are out there living the goof life. You don’t even have a boyfriend. With your stunning looks getting a boyfriend won’t be that hærd. I’m sure there’s someone out there that might be just right for you.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I appreciate your concern but I’m really cool with the way I am and besides this love stuff is a disease. I don’t need it.
.

Morenike ➡ Still stubborn as always. Love is not a disease. Love is the greatest power in this world and without it chaos and destruction will ensue.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Whatever. You’re not going to talk me into getting a boyfriend. Love is nothing but scam.
.

Riley Jr. ➡ That is why you’ll always remain single.
.

Both Morenike and I were surprised when we heard my brother’s voice in our bedroom, the little rascal must have used his shape shifting abilities to sneak into the room unnoticed.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Junior! What did I tell you about sneaking into our bedroom? Are you mad?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Not as mad as someone saying love is scam.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ If you don’t leave this room right now, your name will be sorry.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Mumu! Don’t forget that I have anti magic. You spells won’t work on me.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ It’s true but don’t forget that you can’t use both of your magics at the same time and since you’re using your chameleon magic, I can use your other spell on you. ‘O ti pari iwo kekere’.

Riley Jr ➡ Uh oh 🙀.
.

In that very moment, I flicked my fingers and unleash the anti magic spell around the room and before long, my brother dropped from the ceiling and fell to the ground.

Riley Jr ➡ Jesus! You wan kill somebody ni? ‘Ṣe o n sinwin?’
.

Morenike ➡ So you shaped yourself into a spider Abi?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Cool huh?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Keep talking, by the time I’m done thrashing you, you won’t even know your name. ‘O ti wa ni iparun’
.

Riley Jr ➡ That cold attitude of yours won’t get you any man o. Men don’t like shakara women. Better chill before you die a V-rgin (laughs)

Ebinoluwa ➡ You little brat… Just let me grab hold of you.

Just as I was about to pounce on the little rat, Aunt Bimpe suddenly appeared into the room, standing between me and my brother.

Bimpe ➡ What are you all doing here? You’ll be late for school o. Get going jare.

Morenike ➡ Is breakfast ready?
.

Bimpe ➡ Ahh! Kini aro? Do I look like your maid? Who get time for you?.. Listen young girl, you’re a grown lady better go and cook yourself. I don’t have time for that nonsense. I’ve wired pocket money in all of your accounts. I don’t care how you spend them. Use them however you like. Oya junior?

Riley Jr ➡ Yes aunty.
.

Bimpe ➡ Don’t give me that face. If your mother was here you know what she might do to you. Come on, go get dressed and go to school.

Riley Jr ➡ But Aunty, the school is boring and the girls in our school are damn too young and childish. I want to meet hot babes you know.

Morenike ➡ Father in heaven! See this c*ckroach o. As small as you are, you dey carry woman matter for your head.

Bimpe ➡ I understand how you feel nephew but don’t worry once you get back from school, “Ile panṣaga pataki kan wa ti Emi yoo mu ọ lọ si”.

Riley Jr ➡ (speaking yoruba) Lootọ?… {Really?}
.

Bimpe ➡ Sure! It’s going to be filled with variety of hot ladies all suiting your taste.

Riley Jr ➡ Hmm, Today na today. Heh, heh.. Ladies here I come.
.

After that, Aunt Bimpe and junior disappeared out of the room, leaving me and Morenike alone.

Ebinoluwa ➡ That boy don spoil finish! I’m beginning to wonder if he’s really my father’s son.
.

Morenike ➡ Mind your words jor. Are you accusing our mother of adultery?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ No.
.

Morenike ➡ And besides Junior has a striking resemblance of our father. So that’s proof that he’s our father’s product.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Let’s drop this conversation jare.. I want to sleep.
.

Morenike ➡ (speaking Yoruba).. Ko ṣẹlẹ nigba ti mo wa ni ayika.. Brace yourself for impact.
.

In that sudden moment, Morenike jumped and landed an elbow on my back. I felt the pain a little but I didn’t retaliate cause if I did, I might kill her mistakenly. So in the end, I got out of bed and got prepared myself for school.

Hours later, here I was in the lecture hall listening to a boring lecture from our professor. Half of the students were asleep not to mention the other half that were trying desperately to understand what the man was talking about. In my own case, I understood the lecture cause I sometimes read ahead of the class but I wasn’t concentrating cause my mind was far away thinking about what Morenike said.
It’s not my fault that I’m single, it’s just that the guys that approach me are either so stupid or self centered about themselves. The ones that I loathe the most are the one with fakes promises. So for that reason, I decided to avoid any relationsh¡ps cause I could easily dismantle any guy that breaks my heart. I won’t tolerate anymore that puts emotional trauma on me ; no way.
But despite going solo, my attractive features tends to draw so many guys to my direction and although I keep rejecting their advances, they still keep coming at me.

Most of the guys that I usually attract are the ones from the * Black pirates and Rich king* cults, they always keep approaching me trying to get my attention. It reached to the point when they had to fight over me but i ended their feud when I rejected them all.
However instead of giving up, they were infuriated by my rejections and decided to use force and that was the biggest mistake they ever made. I had to make an example out of all of them by casting a terrifying Illusion spell of myself in their dreams. All of them suffered psychologically and mentally by my spell to the extent that some of them even went mad. When I saw how devastated they were, I canceled the spell and since then not a single one of them dared to approach me but things didn’t go down quietly.
Some days after I released the spell, some of cult members went around and told the entire campus the nightmare they had gone through. Nobody believed them of course but this little act made me the topic of discussion in the mouth of the students and lecturers for weeks . I was even named the *Witch* cause everyone knew the cult members were afraid of me but just like every other well known person, there were some that became jealous of me and those were the Slay Queens of campus.

Finally, the lecture came to an end an hour later and everyone happily left the hall except for me and a group of ladies who were chattering like parrots behind me. I was feeling hungry but I was too lazy to walk. After a while, I left the hall and decided to go to the campus’s food joint to eat.
Most of the food joints in our campus are highly overrated but their food is nothing to write home about . I would have preferred to stay department’s cafeteria and eat but I was tired of eating the same thing over and over again. I wanted to try something new.
Immediately I came out of our department , I came across the new food joint that had recently opened. I’ve heard so many good talks about this place, especially from Morenike. She highly approves of this new place.
Finally, I went over to the new joint and see if truly what everyone said was true but as soon as I got there, I realized there was some kind of argument going on with shop owner and some guy. It didn’t take me long to realize who was at fault so I decided to intervene.
The guy that was arguing with the shop owner was a member of the Black Pirates cult but from the way he approached me I could tell he was a new member cause if he was an older member he would have known that approaching me was bad news. After a while, things started getting heated between us and when I saw he was trying to bully me, I made an example of him by adding a little magic to the mix. The outcome was obvious cause the guy ended up biting the dirt. Before long, he signaled his buddies for back up but as soon as they appeared and saw me ; they grabbed their friend and drove away in their car in a hurry.
After that, the shop owner showed his appreciation, which I didn’t really care about ; all I wanted was to eat.

Rotimi ➡ Is there anything you’d like to order?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Yes.. Give me your best treat. I’m really famished.
.

Rotimi ➡ Alright then. Have a seat, I’ll have your meal ready in no time.
.

After that, I sat in one of the benches that was right next to the joint. Seconds later, the shop owner appeared with a burger 🍔 and a chilled bottle of Pepsi. My mouth watered and my stomach growled as I perceived the delicious aroma of the snack before me. At first, my intention was to grab the burger and gobble it up at once but then I decided against it ; despite how hungry I was had to keep myself cool and eat maturely.
Immediately I took the first bite out of that burger 🍔, I had to let out a small satisfying mo-n. The burger was just so delicious, the taste was just exquisite and as I washed it down my throat with the chilled Pepsi, I felt like a new person.
The person that made this burger was certainly a culinary artist. The effort he invested in making this snack certainly deserves a great amount of credit. Anyone can cook but not everyone can be a good cook. It takes passion and love to make something beautiful, it doesn’t have to be perfect just as long as everyone is going to benefit or gain happiness from it.
After that first bite, I took my time and devoured that burger washing it down with that Pepsi. All I could think of was the delicious taste in my mouth and the joy I felt in that moment. Nothing else mattered at the time.
However just as I was about to finish my burger, I noticed that the guy that served me was busy staring at me lovingly. Even as our eyes met the guy didn’t even flinch, he kept staring at me as if I was some kind of cartoon. Normally, I would have lashed out on him for staring at me like some kind of freak but I realized that he enjoyed seeing the way I was enjoying his snack so I decided to let him be.
After I was done stuffing my stomach, I went over to the joint to pay my bills but the Shop owner refused to collect his pay.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Hmm, that burger was really delicious. How much?
.

Rotimi ➡ Don’t worry. You don’t need to pay, it’s free.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ you’re joking right?
.

Rotimi ➡ No.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Look man, don’t cheat yourself. Collect your money and I’ll be on my way.
.

Rotimi ➡ I don’t need your money, your satisfaction is good enough for me.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (laughs) Dear lord.. Look, what’s your angle? There has to be a reason why you’re not collecting my money.
.

Rotimi ➡ Well, all I want is to get to know you better. I want us to get acquainted.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Hold on.. Your face looks kinda familiar. Have we met somewhere before?
.

Rotimi ➡ Yes we have. We met at the 666 lounge in the VIP section. You were reading a book at the time.
.

I was surprised when he mention the 666 lounge. In my assumption, I thought the guy was just an ordinary human being but what surprised me was that he had no super natural aura around him.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Yes I remember now. If I may ask.. What are you?
.

Rotimi ➡ Well, I’m half human half demon.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Interesting. I never knew there was a hybrid demon. Well, I’m a hybrid as well. I’m a witch.
.

Rotimi ➡ I know. It seems that we both have something in common.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Yes, we do. Well, I have to do now and thanks for the burger. I’ll be sure to come here regularly. You’ve just made me fall in love with this place.
.

Rotimi ➡ Wait, I would like to know your name?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ My name? 😏
.

Rotimi ➡ Yes. If you don’t mind that is.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Okay then, my name’s Ebinoluwa.
.

Rotimi ➡ Ebinoluwa. That’s a pretty good name. My name is..
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi.
.

Rotimi ➡ How did you… Did you read my mind?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ It seems you know alot about witches.
.

Rotimi ➡ Well not that much.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Alright Rotimi, see you around.

Rotimi ➡ You too.

After a nice friendly conversation, Ebinoluwa walks away from the joint heading back to her department with a full stomach and a smile on my face. As she was walking away, Rotimi stares at her stunning figure admirably until she disappears out of sight. Here in,side Mass com department, Ebinoluwa walks past a couple of guys who were busy arguing about football and immediately they set their eyes on her, One of them bellows out making a dirty comment.

The young witch ignores them of course but their comments soon made her an object of jealousy to some female students that stood around the vicinity. Among these female students was a particular slay queen that despises Ebinoluwa so much because of the attention she was getting. Her name was Mimi Adebayo.

Mimi Adebayo was one of the hottest slay queens on campus and a vice-president of the Student union govt.
But truth be told, nobody likes her and the reason is because she has a bad reputation and her social skills with the students was awful. Mimi was the kind of person that loves being the center of attention. She’s too selfish and self-centered to the extent that even her friends detest her sometimes, the only reason why they follow her is because of the opportunities she provides for them but despite her reputation, she’s one of the brilliant students in the campus.
Her biff with Ebinoluwa started when she realized that the young witch was getting more attention than her and not just in their department but in other faculties as well.
Despite her hate for Ebinoluwa, she couldn’t do anything to her because she was afraid of crossing her especially when she heard about the devastating incident of the fearsome cult groups. Instead, all she could do was the the only weapon in her possession ; which was her mouth to ridicule and mock her rival.

Mimi ➡ Ashewo! See how she’s forming as if she’s one big deal. Nonsense (hisses)
.

After hearing the scornful remark, Ebinoluwa stops and then faces Mimi with a cold look before smiling at her wickedly.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ It’s seems you’ve woken on the wrong side of the bed today but I think I see the problem.. It’s either you have rocks in your head or you’ve drank a pig’s urine last night.
.

Mimi ➡ (speaking Yoruba) Baba rẹ ni o mu ito ẹlẹdẹ kii ṣe emi. Ashewo. àgbere ita…… (It’s your father that drank the pigs urine not me.. B–tch, street wh-re).
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (laughs) Nonsense. To think you’re our vice president. Tell me, did you sell your body to get that to position? Because I smell a stench of f–rnication around you. (Laughs)
.

Infuriated by Ebinoluwa’s words, Mimi angrily spits on her and then rains down curses on her. In that moment, Mimi’s boyfriend appears on the scene and tries to calm his girlfriend but things take an unexpected turn.
Immediately she sets her eyes on her nemesis boyfriend, Ebinoluwa snaps her fingers instantly casting a temptation spell on him and within a blink of the eye, the young man ditches Mimi and gravels underneath Ebinoluwa’s feet showering her with rom-ntic words and love quotes.
Shocked by what she saw, Mimi loses her cool and sparks with rage yelling and cursing her innocent boyfriend while Ebinoluwa laughs with excitement.

Mimi ➡ Jeffrey! You B–STARD!! How could you? So this is how you’re going to repay me abi? By humiliating me in front of everyone.. I HATE YOU.

Jeffrey ➡ Shut your mouth goat! Don’t listen to her my love, she’s just jealous of your stunning beauty.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I know. What a shame (laughs).
.

The humiliation was too much on Mimi and her eyes were red with anger and her forehead was dripping with sweat. She didn’t want to leave and make herself look like a loser but the situation was getting worst and worst, everyone was laughing at her. Fortunately just before things could get out of hand, Morenike appears at the scene and puts a stop to it.

Morenike ➡ Ebinoluwa, Stop this right now.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Oh Morenike, what’s up?
