Silence stepped in as Bridget stared at the woman in surprise, it kept on ringing on her head that she has met her before. But she couldn’t remember where or how she met her.

The woman could not stop Wondering about how grown up the girl standing in front of her is. She couldn’t believe what her eyes saw. It doesn’t take to long for child to grow actually. The thoughts between them went on for awhile and finally the woman talked.

Young girl how are you doing?

Fine ma, Bridget replied simply

Sure you must be wondering who I am? Right?

Yes ma’am… she replied bowing a bit, also feeling inconvenient with how she has been staring at her.

Alright dear, I’m Mrs Wilson your late dad’s friend… came her answer and Bridget’s eyes almost dropped out of their socket.

Her dad’s friend; but she hasn’t seen them together before; could this be true about the way she was thinking earlier about seeing her before? Many questions kept on rotating on head and when she couldn’t help it again she decided to ask her directly.

But ma’am I have not seen you with him before.. she said

No dear, you have seen me before but its possible that you’ve forgotten about me… She replied

Alright ma’am, but why did you stop coming to see him? I might have seen you then before his death? Bridget asked again even though she still found it surprised that she’s having conversation with a woman she doesn’t know from anywhere.

Yeah… about that… the woman’s voice trailed off as she found a way to answer the question she just asked.

Well then, I travelled which was why I haven’t been coming to see him, but we do talk on phone. Because we are really close.. she answered and lent very well on the car door.

Alright ma, the security told me you came to see me some days ago? And I’m surprised hearing that. Hope no problem ma?

Yeah… You see when I heard about your dad’s death I was so sad, that’s why I came back to the country. And when I got here I decided to come check on the children.… but now it seems to me that you are fine.. right my dear?

Bridget nodded and another silence stepped in between them again, the students were passing, some were even stealing glances at them. And as for Bridget she doesn’t think of uttering any word to kill the silence, well maybe that’s because she doesn’t know what to say to a woman she just met today and she claimed to be her dad’s friend.

So Bridget how is your sister doing? The woman asked out of the blue and Bridget got shocked. How did she know her name? And now she’s asking about her sister? Oh maybe she’s being silly again. Of course she would know it and like she said it earlier she was her dad’s friend.

Humm… she is fine… she told the woman

Alright dear, my regards to her too…. So now if you wouldn’t mind do you mind us becoming close? Says the woman and Bridget was almost forced to choke on her saliva.

Being close!! With a woman she hasn’t seen before? No answer is coming to her head as she just kept on staring at the woman.

Don’t be anxious dear, I mean no harm. I just want to be close with my friend’s child that’s all I’m doing but if you don’t want us to be close no problem I am fine with that… but at least you can come and visit me at my house or maybe I should be coming to see you here? She explained but Bridget didn’t talk.

Well maybe because all what she said sounds so strange to her, and she couldn’t find the best answer to give her.…. She felt someone tap her on her shoulder and that was when she knew it that she has lost herself in her thought.

They continued for awhile and with all what she has been telling Bridget all along she doesn’t seem dangerous to her. after sometimes Bridget finally decided to start heading to her class. But not after telling the woman that she can come and be visiting her in school. But she will never have the chance of going to meet her in her house.

The woman couldn’t be more than happy, maybe because her conscience has finally been cleared a bit. Bridget made attempt to leave the scene but the as she took that step forward. Something in her gut told her to ask the woman one particular question and she did.

Ma’am please apart from knowing my dad, have you seen my mom before? She asked and the woman felt her legs becoming weak instantly.

Her mother…… seen her before… everything continued running on her head.

Ohh yes your mother….I… I’ve seen her before infact we were friends…. She replied and Bridget smiled at her.

Okay ma’am, I will be going back to my class now… thanks for coming to see me… she bowed a bit and with that she left even before the woman would answer her.…

I stared horribly at the picture lieing in my hand.. this is your fault!! Absolutely your fault!! Everything happened because of you!! You caused this; you ruined me! I can’t wait to kill you LELETI . I Can’t wait to lay this hand on you!!!

You ruined my life!! I stared at his disgusting face!! You finished me!!! I yelled out in pain as I tore the picture into pieces throwing the pieces into the air making it to fly around the room.

I ruffled my hair abit and sat down on the bed, she didn’t recognize me!!! She didn’t….. the girl didn’t recognize me… and this is your fault… LELETI all this is your fault!

I thought as tears continue streaming down my cheek, I stood up from the bed and went to lock my door. I can’t let my servants enter and meet me in this kind of position. Retuning back to the bed side I crashed on the floor..

Letting all my emotion flew out with tears, I regretted every action I took then. And I continued sobbing this words kept on ringing on my head.

The voice kept on saying and with that I stood up from the ground, cleaned my face. Then I have my sit back on the bed.

You are still going to pay dearly for what you have done.…. You can’t hide till forever.. and if it’s possible that you are dead; I’m still going to haunt your spirit… catch your spirit :: then kill you once and for all… 😡😡😡

After the brushing of l-ips that happened between I and JULIET everywhere became quiet.

I’m sorry…. Juliet said

I’m sorry too… it’s not your fault actually

Yeah, maybe it wasn’t my fault but I shouldn’t have turn…. She replied soberly

And what about me? I’m also not supposed to lean yet… I replied nervously.

Okay then, maybe both of us is at fault here… She said and I nodded my head then looked away. Because of the way juliet was staring at my face.

Humm… Adrian can you come closer? Juliet asked giving me one burning impression in my body. I looked at her surprisingly. Does she want to beat me now or what?

No I’m not coming!! I shouted a bit

So you are not coming, okay then fine! How about if I come to meet you? Sure that will be better…. She stated and wanting to leave the bed when I yelled

Okay I will come… I replied and started going towards her, I got to where she is and stopped on my track. Well no where else to go to, unless if I will enter her shirt.

It’s not enough, lower your head a bit.. huh I should Lower my head, what is this girl trying to do.. no I won’t lower my head, I thought and I spit it out.

No I won’t lower my head, what are you up to? Are you trying to slap my head? Hell no I won’t lower it. Infact I’m not coming anymore. I said that and tried walking away but she held my hand immediately preventing me from leaving.

She didn’t utter a word, she lower my head by herself and my heart skipped when I saw her staring at my l-ips, I stood still like a statue looking at her nervously, I can’t say what happened to me but as she continued bringing her head towards mine. One gut in me made me to close my eyes.

I felt one soft thing touching my l-ips and the next thing I felt was a tissue. What is juliet doing? I wanted to open my eyes, but then she talked before I could.

Maybe you should open your eyes now. Seems you are planning on closing it till forever… she said and I opened my eyes.

There is a tissue in her hand which means she used it for me cause I felt it on my l-ips.

Juliet what did you just do? I asked

Well I saw a stain of my l¡pstick on your l-ips, and you sure will not want to go out like that so I decided to clean it for you since it was my mess;; she explained and showed me the tissue on her hand. Are you kidding me!! Thought she is a patient where did she get l¡pstick from.

Juliet you are in the hospital! Where did you get l¡pstick from and why applying it when you are always in here? I asked because I am too surprised for me to keep quiet..

Well I told Bridget to give me that day when she came here. Since I didn’t bring my own here. And as for going out before applying I don’t do that; I love applying l¡pstick on my l-ips to keep it smooth and fresh.… She explained and I chuckled

And what’s wrong with you now? She glared at me

Well just wondering if you really meant all what you said, because even after applying the l¡pstick I still don’t see any changes on your l-ips, it’s still dry like flour…. I joked and she laughed. Oh I wasn’t expecting that!

You are crazy Adrian, she said to me and concentrated on another thing. leaving me to wonder about how I could talk to juliet fluently like this. What sort of thing is this? Am I really the one communicating politely like this with a lady ? Wow! Seems I have a soft side when it comes to juliet. I can’t even lay my hand on what is making me courageous to play around her like this.

I heard my phone ringing and that made me to jort out of my thinking mood, I stretched my hand in order to get it from the cabinet but then juliet beat me into it. She carried the phone before I could.

Hello ‘mom’ she said to the caller, so it’s my mum

Yes ‘mom’ I am fine

He is fine too!!

No ‘mom’

I picked it because it was closer to me!!

The talk went on and I’m starting to get furious, wondering whether if at all mom is going to mention speaking with me.

Yes ‘mom’ but at times Adrian can be a jerk!! She said and i looked at her, what are they talking about that has to do with me now?

Hummm.. I do sleep well. But sometimes Adrian’s snore always stops me from sleeping well.. what!!!

I can’t take this again, I grabbed her arm and made sure I collected the phone from her with force.

Hello Mom, yes Mom it’s Adrian. Mum don’t believe Juliet’s word, she was lieing to you also know I don’t snore mom.

No mom, this is unfair why will you believe her!! She is not saying the truth.

Mum I do watch her sleep at night, I’m the one that supposed to complain here not her…

But mom I didn’t do that… I continued arguing with Mom and after awhile she hanged up. With the hope that she’s coming to pick us from the hospital tommorow.

I dropped my phone on the cabinet and met juliet trying to hide her face under the pillow. Seems she knows when she did isn’t right!!

If you are really going to hide from me! I think it will be best you start living under the bed; Because that pillow isn’t enough to hide you… I said and started laughing

Okay then, maybe I’m sorry for lieing against you. I was just joking but ‘ mom’ thought I meant it. She said nervously swallowing her saliva with great speed.

Yeah she believed you.. and see me now she scolded me over what I didn’t do, just like you slapped my head yesterday over a game that I didn’t lose by myself.. I explained with a fake sad impression that will make feel guilty a bit.

I’m just sorry, and speaking of the game how about you teach me more now… juliet said

No!!.. I mean not now. We will do that later

And why can’t we do it now…

Because it’s AFTERNOON already, I am actually hungry and you should be hungry too.… I lied when although I’m not hungry but I don’t want to start teaching her either.

I ended up confusing her, and she agreed to it that she is hungry. I took my phone from the cabinet in order to carry it with me. But juliet insisted that I should let her have it. She collected the phone from me and I had to walk on my own to the restaurant 😕😕😕 alone.

I walked sharply towards the hall. Getting READY to face whatever worst is waiting for me in there.

Hey paragon, you guys can wait for me here. Watch out and make sure nobody enters. I will be back

I told my guys and starting walking in alone. I don’t know why that b**ch told me to come alone. But if at all she is trying to be evil, or harm me.

I may not hesitate to take her life. Walking entirely into the hall. I met a lady backing me.

With her two hands by her side, she wasn’t facing me. And just as I took some steps almost closer to her she speaks.

You are 10 ( ten) minutes late young man…. Came her slightly cold voice

And who are you to tell me how to do my things? I still have the right to take my time! I’m coming to see you because I want to not because of what you said?

So now can you face me because I don’t have the all day to myself? I said coldly and she laughed.

I saw her carrying her hand to her head, probably trying to remove her hoodie cap. She started turning to face me little by little. And finally she faced me properly and I got to see her face. Hold on I know this lady…
