I stood perplexed.
What’s wrong with him l thought to myself, he is just trying to piss him off and it’s working.
Before l could come up with a reasonable reply,
Am out of here cage said, have a nice ride with your soon to be boyfriend he added and enters his car.
Cage l called and run to meet him
Cage wait am sorry, out of my way Ashley he replies. I guess he calls me by name when he is angry.
Please wait l yell, but he didn’t listen he ignited the engine and drove off.
I turn to see Damon with an evil smirk plastered on his face.
Come in pretty,we are late already you don’t have to feel bad about him, you have me he says and l roll my eyes.
You know you look prettier when you roll your eyes he says and am pissed.
I think am beginning to regret ever liking Damon, l don’t even know if l have feelings for him anymore.
He is beginning to tear l and Cage apart and am not liking it.
I will tell Mom to get me a car or probably a driver, l didn’t find it necessary because Cage has always been there for me. But now l think l will be needing one cause if l have one l don’t think l will be riding with Damon after what he just did.
The ride to school was silent.
I hate the fact that l ended up riding with Damon.
He hv tried severally to start a conversation but l was adamant , l don’t want to talk to him.
We arrived school and as usual the girls started scre-ming immedaitely they saw Damon’s car.
Before l could get down he was already there and he opened the door for me.
He took my hand in his as l step out of his car.l tried to free my hand from his grip but he wasn’t willing to let go.
By now the female students were drooling while some where staring daggers at me.
What is he up to this time l thought.
Phones started clicking.

Damon just behaves as if nothing is happening.

I bet she is trying so hærd to have Damon, he is only going to use and dump her broke ass she won’t be an exception they kept blabbing.

Huh, l didn’t see that coming.
Finally am in class those jobless students where starting to piss me off with their blabbing.
I use my eyes to search for Cage but l can’t find him.
But he is supposed to be in class.
What happened?.
Few minutes later the maths tutor walks in and started teaching, hours later l stylishly took my phone and dailed his number, it rings but he isn’t picking up.
Teaching commences but l couldn’t concentrate .
The only thought on my mind is where is Cage?

It’s lunch break, yet Cage didn’t show up. I called him severally but he isn’t picking up. Now l will have to eat alone l said out loud.

Break is over, have searched the wh0le school but l couldn’t find Cage, so l hearded to class.
I entered the class and saw Cage already sitted.
Cage l called and walk up to meet him.
Have been looking for you, where have you been ? Why didn’t you come to class earlier.
I was in another class l don’t offer those subjects.
Oh ! I forgot but you didn’t come out for lunch.
I came out but l saw you had company already so l had to eat with Evelyn.

A teacher walks in and we settle in our seats.
Throughout the lesson Cage didn’t even spare me a glance, he was too focused on the teacher and that’s quite unusual.

It’s time to go home, school have closed for the day.
Cage and l walk side by side as we came out of the class, though he haven’t said anything since the teacher came in earlier and am beginning to get worried.
