Gia’s POV
“There’s…. there’s more than one golden dagger” I said as I brought out another golden dagger

“What?!!!” They all exclaimed

“How?” Ivan asked

“Well I helped you procure most of the ingredients for the spell, the immortal killing spell which I made a copy of, the ashes of our Aria which I halved but the one thing that I couldn’t procure myself was the blood of a born immortal and I knew if anyone will ever be able to get close enough to Dianna’s baby and get her blood, it’s you and that’s why I had the witches locate you and I came to meet you in the pretence of getting revenge for Sophie’s death, though it took longer than expected, you got the blood and you handed it over to Ethan and my only obstacle was how to get at least a drop of the blood without Ethan noticing so I came up with a plan along with the help of Adrian’s witches, while Ethan was working on the spell at night, the witches over here was casting a spell that was temporarily transferring their powers to Ethan and that caused what you may describe as a system overload and he collapsed and I took a little bit from the blood you procured” I said

“You harmed Ethan?!” Ivan asked looking all fired up

“I knew he wasn’t gonna die it was a calculated risk! And while you went after Dianna I came here and got this golden dagger conjured, I also sent the potentes after Dianna so you could catch up with her and kill her and I was going to go Eva’s Mansion and kill both her and Eric too so that by the time you come back, it will be just the two of us” I said

“And what? Were you going to kill me too?” Ivan asked

“That was the plan but Gia never quite agreed to that, apparently she still some familial love for you” Adrian said

“I guess I should consider myself lucky then to have still occupied a place in your dark heart no matter how tiny” Ivan said

“Why would you ever do this Gia? Why would you ever team up with a stranger against your family?!” Dianna said

“Adrian is not a stranger, he’s my family, he’s a reincarnation of my Micheal and after losing him once, I don’t want to ever lose him again and in order to become untouchable we had to eliminate any potential powerful opponent, our family was already a mess so I figured at least one of us should be happy, for I can’t sacrifice my happiness for the family again, Adrian is my happiness now and I am prepared to do anything to stay by his side and not to lose him” I said

“I told you didn’t I Gia, the moment I find out that you lied to me and you are working for someone, I am going to rip out his heart, whoever he is but I’m making another promise now, along with your dumb lover, you’ll be taking a dagger to your heart too” Ivan said as he removed his gloves and placed his hands on the boundary

“You won’t be able to break it Ivan, we have a dozen witches here powering that spell” I said though I could sense the fear in my own voice

“Maybe he can’t break it on his own but he sure will be able to if he has help, you see I came here to stop him from killing you today but after hearing all what you have to say, I can’t help but have a change of mind” Dianna said as she came forward and placed her hand on the boundary too

“And combined with my powers, I’m sure you know your pretty little coven is no match for us” Eva said as she joined them, muttering her spell

“What….what are they doing?” Adrian asked as the boundary began to crumble before our eyes

“They are going to break through, they will kill us, we have to run” I said to Adrian

“Run? I’m Adrian Hunter, I run from no one” he said

“This isn’t the time for your bloody ego Adrian, we need to run so we can fight another day!” I said and suddenly the boundary came crashing and they all walked in

Adrian made the witches stand in front of us to defend us

“You….go….go all of you, I paid you a huge sum of money so kill them all” Adrian shouted and Ivan quickly grabbed one of the witches by the throat

“I hate to kill a fellow witch but you all did go against your oath of loyalty to me” Eva said as she flicked her hand and one of the witches fell to the ground lifeless

“Let’s go Adrian, let’s go” I said as I grabbed Adrian’s hand and we ran for the back door

“Go after them Eva, we’ll handle the witches here and join you!” I heard Dianna say to Eva

Eric’s POV
I drove to the front of Adrian’s Mansion and I stopped the car
The front of the Mansion seemed simple compared to the loud agonizing screams emanating from inside the Mansion

I looked at Bella who had fallen asleep on her little crib in the backseat
“It wouldn’t hurt if I leave you for a minute to check what’s going on inside right?” I asked sleeping Bella
“I just want to make sure Eva isn’t there and I’ll be right back” I said

I suddenly heard footsteps and I looked forward to see Gia and Adrian Hunter running out of the gate

I quickly got out of the car and ran to their front

“Where the hell do you two think you are going?” I asked stopping them

“Step aside Eric, before I make you” Gia said

“I’d like to see you try Gia, I was right all along wasn’t I? You are working for this gimp here, he’s controlling you!” I said and Eva suddenly came running out of the gate and Gia caught her grabbing her throat

“Stop!!!” I screamed “Let her go!”

“I don’t think so” Gia said as she tightened her grip on Eva’s throat and she couldn’t say a word even if she wanted to
“Run Adrian, go from here, we’ll meet up later” Gia said to Adrian

“See you later then” Adrian said and quickly ran quickly ran off

“Gia, stop Gia, do not kill her please” I pleaded as Gia slowly moved Eva towards the car I just brought

Dianna and Ivan suddenly came out of the house, their bodies stained with blood

“What the hell is going on here Eric? You aren’t supposed to be here, where’s my baby?” Dianna asked while Ivan moved forward to attack Gia with his golden dagger

“Move one more step and I’ll rip out her throat” Gia warned

“You should know that I certainly do not care about Eva” Ivan said as he made to move forward but I stopped him

“But I do brother, please, don’t let her kill Eva, I….. I love her” I pleaded with Ivan as a tear roll down my face

“Can’t she just do some spell and get out of her damn clutches?!” Ivan asked

“She isn’t an innate one Ivan, only an innate one can perform a spell without speaking the spells and dear Eva cannot speak now as I have my hand tightly crushing her throat” Gia said with a smile as she slowly continued to move closer to the car I came with

“Is my baby in that car Eric?” Dianna asked but I couldn’t answer
“She is, isn’t she?” she asked again

“Let Eva go Gia, this is between you and I” Ivan said to Gia

“I’m sorry but I can’t brother as Eva is the only thing stopping you from ripping me to shreds right now” Gia said

“Okay, I am done being patient, sorry Eric” Ivan said angrily but I quickly stepped in front of him

“Let’s make a deal Gia, let Eva go and we’ll let you go without hurting you” I said

“What?!! Definitely not” Ivan said

“I don’t think your deal favours me, I finally get to pay you back for killing Michael, this should feel good” Gia said and she plunged her freezing hand to Eva’s chest and began to rip out her heart

“No!!!” I screamed as I saw a tear roll down Eva’s face as she fell to the ground

Dianna quickly ran towards Gia but she was fast enough to climb into the car beside her and drove off

“No!!! My baby!!!” Dianna screamed

I looked at Ivan who was standing beside me with the golden dagger and I quickly stood up, snatching the dagger from him

“Eric!……”

“Borrow me this for a while” I said as I got into the car Dianna came with and I drove after Gia……

Dianna’s POV
“No!! No my baby!!!” I screamed as I ran after Gia’s car but I couldn’t keep up as she went off in a fast speed
Eric’s car speed past me and I fell to the ground

No, my baby, I have to get my baby
I quickly ran to the only car I could see which seemed to be Ivan’s car
I tried to open the car but my hand was trembling too much, I could barely hold the car handle

“Step aside” I heard Ivan’s voice behind me

“No Ivan, I need to go after them, I need to find my child” I panicked

“I said step aside!!” Ivan yelled
“You are obviously a mess right now” he said as he grabbed me by my arm and made me sit in the front seat

He sat in the driver’s seat and started the car, then he drove off at a high speed

“Go faster Ivan, we must get my child” I said but he ignored me

“We must get her before Gia does, she has the golden dagger Ivan, she can kill my baby if she wants to” I said
“We have to find them, we…… ” Ivan suddenly stopped the car and looked angrily at me

“One more word from you and I am throwing you off this car! Make no mistake Dianna, we are not allies now, I still despise you and you are still among the list of people I want dead, only reason you are still breathing right now is because Gia and that gimp that calls himself head of the humans now occupies the first place on my death list, so I’m gonna find Eric, get my dagger from him and when I find Gia and her supposed lover, I am going to make them suffer so much even the devil shall weep for their soul” Ivan said looking really angry

“I totally understand you Ivan, we are still enemies, you still hate me but for now please, start the car and go after them, I need to get my baby, I can’t let anything happen to her” I pleaded

“They’ve gone too far, we can’t find them again” Ivan said

“No, what do you mean we can’t find them again, we have to, we must, she has the golden dagger and she can kill my child, I must not let……. ”

” Dianna!! ” Ivan yelled and I flinched

” I can stand you no more Dianna, our search ends here, go your way and look for your baby your own way, I’ll look for them too and when I’m done dealing with them, it will be your turn” Ivan said and I nodded

Of course, what was I thinking? Ivan isn’t obligated to help me, he’s no longer the supporting brother I knew, he hates me now
I opened the car door and made to leave but I stopped, this is my child’s life in danger and I must use all I have at my disposal to find her, I will need all the help I can get
I sat back down and looked at Ivan

“I understand that you don’t consider us siblings again but for once, our interest are aligned now, you need to find Gia and I need to find my baby, what do you say about joining forces together? ” I asked

” You mean working alongside you, no thanks, I remember how well that ended the last time” Ivan said

” Ivan please, if we work together we’ll be able to find them in less time than working alone, you want your golden dagger back too, Eric is with it and is going after Gia, if we find Gia, we’ll easily find Eric too and you can get your golden dagger from him, you want to kill Gia and Adrian, go ahead and after I’ve gotten my baby girl, you can go back to enacting your revenge on me” I explained and Ivan paused a bit

” I still refuse, out of my car Dianna” Ivan said

” Just listen to me Ivan please, you said it yourself before, you do not want my child to be caught in the crossfire of our fights, you…. ”

” Do not use my words against me, you should know emotional blackmail doesn’t work on me” Ivan stated

” Sure, but you know I’m right, we need each other to get them faster, fighting against each other now won’t do either of us any good, please Ivan, I know you still hate me and even if I apologize now for what I did, it won’t change anything but….. ”

” I want to hear no more Dianna, there’s no way I’ll ever work with the one that robbed me off my happiness, you sacrificed Sophie without a second thought on how I’d feel! ” Ivan yelled and I nodded

” I have done bad haven’t I? Okay then let’s make a different deal, help me save my little girl and I’ll surrender myself to you” I said and he scoffed

” You don’t expect me to believe that you’ll allow me kill you after you’ve gotten your child do you? I am no fool Dianna” Ivan said

” Oh please Ivan, will you let go of your ego for a moment and hear me out with a clear mind?! Eva is dead, unlike you I have no powerful witch to help me find Gia and my little girl, if I work alone I probably will never find her and I’ll never see her again, that’s why I need you, I need your help to find Bellatrix before Gia decides to kill her, I’m asking you to help me save my little girl’s life, and I certainly know that I am in no position to ask you for this favor that is why I am offering you my life in return, I’m offering you my life so you can save my daughter’s” I said

” And who will take care of your daughter when you are dead?” Ivan asked

” Eric, Eric will take care of her and you won’t have to do anything, please find her for me, let me see her one more time, please” I pleaded

Ivan looked at me for a moment
“There’s one more person you need to convince apart from me” he said as he started the car

” Who are you talking about? Where are we going? ” I asked as he drove

” You’ll see when we get there” he said

Gia’s POV
I drove on, as fast as I could and I could see a car on my tail from the rear mirror and judging from how the thunder was rumbling, it’s definitely Eric

I tried increasing the speed of the car but the car obviously couldn’t go any faster than it was already going, I looked at the mirror again and Eric was catching up fast with me
We approached a crossroad and I knew I had to lose him at this crossroad else I’ll never be able to lose him
So as we got closer to the crossroad I brought the car to an abrupt stop and came out

Eric got out of his car too looking very angry as he approached me with a golden dagger

“I am going to kill you Gia” He said as he approached me angrily

” Sorry Eric, but not today” I said as I placed my hand on the ground with my eyes turning into an icy blue
A thick wall of ice slowly began to erupt from the ground separating Eric and I

“No!!!” he screamed as he tried to break the ice wall with lightening but it was too thick to break away that easily
I made sure the wall extend as far as it could go and as long as it could be

I staggered and almost fell on the ground, it’s been centuries since I last used my powers at it’s full capacity

I quickly got into the car and took one of the roads in the crossroad
I drove as far as I could but I stopped my car when I heard some sounds at the backseat
I looked back and saw a little baby on her crib looking at me

“Bloody hell!!” I exclaimed
“You….. you aren’t Dianna’s kid are you?” I asked and she smiled as if affirming my thoughts

” You are Dianna’s baby girl, that explains her agitation and the way she screamed and ran after me when I took this car” I smiled
” Well things just got more interesting little girl, how do I use you to get back at your mother and uncles? ” I asked with a smile…….
