LISA’S PLACE
” Here are are,this is your room from now on” Lisa showed Carla round the house.
” I love this house already” Carla admired it.
” By tomorrow, your family will notice your absence and your brother will assign people to look for you,so you have to disguise before going out” Lisa said and Carla nodded.
” How do I disguise then?” Carla asked.
” Here” Lisa handed a plastic face mask, Carla wore it and her appearance changed.

” Nice name, tomorrow we will go to school and you will do a new registration as a new student” Lisa said.

After breakfast everyone started their daily activities, Carlee went to Carla’s room but she didn’t find her.
” Mother is Carla with you?” Carlee asked stepping into the Clara’s chamber.
” What will bring Carla here? Clara scoffed.
” But she is not in her room” Carlee said worriedly.
” Let’s go” Clara went to Carla’s room.
They checked her bathroom but she wasn’t there,they opened the closet and it’s empty, Clara staggered and Carlee supported her.
They saw a letter and picked it up.

Carlee read out and Clara slumped to the ground unconscious.
” Mother” Carlee shouted and few guards came in.
” My Queen” the guards took her out,while one of them rushed to inform Damein.
” What happened to her?” Damein rushed to them.
“It’s Carla,she left” Carlee cried.
” Quick let’s get her to the hospital” they took her to the hospital and she was immediately attended to.
” Explain how this happened?” Damein turned to Carlee.
” We went to Carla’s room and found a letter telling us that she left and we shouldn’t search for her” Carlee explained.
Damein punch the wall causing his knuckles to bleed.
Anna,Tanya and Lionel came running to them.
” How is the Queen?” Lionel asked.
” She is still in there” Damein mumbled.
“You’re bleeding” Anna holds his hand.
” Ignore it” Damein replied.
” Let’s go get you treated”
” I can’t leave my mother here” he half-yelled.
” Your mother won’t be happy to see injured” Anna snapped.
Damein sighed” let’s go” he said and they went to meet a nurse who treated him.
” You have to be strong for her” Anna tried comforting him.
” I can’t it breaking my heart seeing her like this” a lone tear escape his eye.
” You have to,a King is always known as a strong man” Anna wipe his tears and hug him.
” Thank you Anna” he pull away and k-iss her l-ips before they went back to the Queen’s ward.
” How is she doing?” Damein asked the doctor,his face void of emotion.
” Am sorry but she is got paralyzed,she went through so much shock and pain and it triggered her system” the doctor said and Damein almost broke down, Anna held his trying to comfort him.
” Thanks doctor” Anna said and the doctor left.
” She is in this condition all because of Carla” he said through gritted teeth.
They went in and met Clara laying unconscious on the bed, seeing her like this caused so much pain for Damein.
” Am sorry bro” Lionel hugs Damein.
Damein sat beside Clara and took her hand tenderly.
” Mother get well soon” Lionel and Tanya managed to take Carlee back to the palace.
Anna held her other hand and remembered how she caught her and Damein yesterday,how she approved and blessed their relationsh¡p.
” Everything will be alright okay” she walk to Damein and hug him, Damein held her tightly trying to control himself from crying,he felt at easy when Anna k-iss his hair.
Rachel suddenly walks into meeting them in that position,she cleared her throat and they looked up.
” How is the Queen doing” she chew a gum making annoying sound with it.
” She is fine” Anna replied.
” I wasn’t talking to you low life” Rachel said rudely.
“Stop behaving like a lizard and behave like a human for once” Anna scoffed.
” How dare you call me that?” She moves close to Anna.
Damein stood in front of Anna and glared at Rachel.
” Leave” he said with a deadly voice.
” She is the one who is suppose to leave not me” Rachel proved stubborn.
” Leave” Damein shouted and she ran out immediately.
” You can go,I will stay with her” Damein said.
” No I’ll stay here too” Anna sat beside him.

TANYA’S ROOM
Lionel and Tanya cuddle up on the couch silently.
Lionel’s phone rings displaying Jane’s name,he ignores it and close his eyes.
” Pick the call” Tanya said.
” No” he shakes his head.
” Why?”
” Because I don’t want trouble” Lionel replied.
” But it might be important” Tanya pouted.
” Jane can never call me to tell me something important”
” Who is Jane?” Tanya asked.

Lionel ran after her but he couldn’t find her.

Tanya cried loudly,she felt hurt,her heart is breaking at the moment.
” What if his mum,force him to marry her” she thought and that triggered her asthma,she begin gasping for breath, Lionel heard some movements and rushed to the corner where she is.
” Babe” he carried her and rushed to her room,he brought out her inhaler and gave it to her.
When she regained her breath, Lionel tried touching her but she stopped him.
” I want to be alone please” she said, and Lionel slowly left her room.
Lionel got to his room and begin dailling Jane’s number.
” Hey babe I’ve been……” Jane was cut off by him.

RACHEL’S ROOM
Rachel was busy with her phone when Albert came in.
” Hey Princess” he took the phone from her and set it aside.

Lisa came into the class acting clueless about Carla’s case.
“Lisa the principal needs you in her office now” a junior student shouted and ran out.
Lisa stood up and went to the principal’s office.
” Are you Lisa” A police officer asked immediately she entered the principal’s office.
” Yes” she replied nervously.
” You happened to be Carla’s friend right?”
” Yes officer we became friends yesterday” Lisa replied boldly.
” She ran away from home,if you know where she is you better say the truth before it will be too late” the female cop said.
” I don’t know where she is the last I saw her was yesterday before school closed” Lisa replied.
They asked her few more questions,and allowed her to go.
She went back to the class and met s-xy (Carla’s new name) standing in front of the class.

Carlee hugs Dora crying bitterly,she hates Carla for causing all this mess.
” It’s ok baby everything will be fine okay” Shine comforted.
They managed to calm her down,she stopped crying and slept off.
Shine and Dora left the palace and went back home.
Roland parked his car in the palace and step out.
” Your highness” the guards bow as he walked in.
” Hello dear brother” Rachel smirked coming to him.
Roland ignored her and walk straight to Carlee’s room since it’s not his first time in the palace.
” Brat” Rachel scoffed and went away.
He entered Carlee’s room and met her sitting on the bed.
” Carlee” he sat beside her and embrace her.
Carlee didn’t have the strength to cry again,so she hugged him back and rest her head on his shoulder.
” Everything will go back to normal okay” he assured her and she nodded.
A maid came in with Carlee’s food and dropped it on the table.
” I’m not hungry take it away” Carlee said to the maid.
” No leave it here just go” Roland ch¡pped in,the maid bowed and left.
” If you don’t eat I will also starve myself” Roland said and Carlee shakes her head.
” I will eat a little” Carlee muttered and took the spoon.
” I will feed you myself” Roland took the spoon from her and fed her.
He made Carlee to eat half of the food.
” I’m ok” she said he nodded and dropped the spoon.
” Come here” they cuddled on the bed till they both slept off.
LISA’S PLACE
The door bell rang and Carla open the door.
” Hi I’m here to see Lisa” a cute looking guy said.
” Who are you?” Carla asked.
” I’m Alfred her boyfriend” the guy said.
” Alfred is that you” Lisa ran to him and hug him.
” s-xy meet Alfred my boyfriend” Lisa said and drag Alfred to her room.
Carla scoffed in jealousy and close the door.
Few minutes later she heard earful of m-0ans coming from Lisa’s room.
After few hours they came out.
” Lisa you almost broke my ear drum” Carla glared at her.

Albert handed over the bottle to the doctor he paid and left.
” Kill him immediately he steps out” Albert said to someone over the phone and hanged up.
CLARA’S WARD
The doctor passed by the guards who were guarding the ward,he entered and look around making sure nobody was looking at him.
He slowly injected the poison in the Queen’s body and walked out acting as if everything is ok.
He dashed to his office and packed his belongings,he called Albert and told him he was done.
” Run to the airport your flight is waiting for you” Albert said and hanged up.
The doctor instantly went out of the hospital, unknown to him a sniper rifle was targeting him from above.
*Bang bang* two shots were fired and the doctor dropped lifelessly on the floor.
People begin running around,the nurses came out to carry his corpse to morgue.
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
Clara’s ward
Clara begin shaking terribly on the bed,the guards rushed in and the other went to call the doctor, while the other one took his phone to inform Damein.
CREST PALACE
Damein got a call from the guards and immediately rushed to the hospital,he met the guards putting on sad faces.
Where is the doctor?” He asked.
” He is in,side your highness”
Damein entered and saw some nurses covering his mother with a white bedsheet.
” What happened to her?” He grab the doctors collar trying not to believe his eyes.
” I’m sorry your highness,we lost the queen” the doctor said and Damein punched him.
” Mother!!” He shouted and went down unconscious.
” Your highness”
” Quick take him to the next ward” the doctor said and the guards carried Damein.
