She turn just to see Jennifer terrified look. She saw everything.
“Oh.. Crap” Annabelle muttered.

Jennifer gaze move down to the dead bodies surrounding Annabelle. She is still finding it hard to believe that she is behind this. Though something in her keeps telling her that Annabelle is not an ordinary person but she didn’t know it would be this extreme.
“You did this?” Jennifer couldn’t help but ask.
“Pretend you see nothing” Annabelle said to her lightly.
“And how do you expect me to do that. You kill people.. and this doesn’t look like your first time. Who are you…”
Annabelle raised her gun to her face. Jennifer and Nana eyes widened. Are the going to get killed too?
“Do you still wish to live?” Annabelle asked making a click sound with her gun.
“What do you think you are doing?” Jennifer asked.
“Please don’t kill us” Nana said as a whispered.
“Do you still wish to live. Answer the question” Annabelle said.
“Yes” Jennifer finally replied.
“Then keep your mouth shut. It won’t take me much time to send you to heaven.. understand?” Annabelle asked.
“Yes, I understand” Jennifer replied.
“Good” Annabelle dropped the gun and made her way out while Jennifer and Nana watch her leave.
Getting back to the base, Annabelle punched the wall in anger. How could she be so careless to reveal herself? Lord Smith is sure not going to take it lightly with her once he find out.
“Anna” Ricky knock on her door.
“Go away” Annabelle said but her door opened and Ricky walked in without her permission.
“Do you have to be so rude?” She asked.
“You don’t tell me what to do Anna..”
“Annabelle, only Lord Smith calls me Anna” she cut him off.
Ricky glance down her hand and saw some blood stains. “What’s with the blood?” He asked.
“I killed Vincent and his crew” she replied.
“You went there alone to kill them. Why didn’t you inform us. You can’t act alone.. you know that!” Ricky flared up.
“This is not my first time Ricky. I’ve been doing this for the past two years”
“Well that ends now. Any mission must be on the crew’s knowledge” he said.
Annabelle didn’t reply and went to lay on her bed. Ricky sighed and left the room. Immediately her door close, her eyes flew open as she recalled everything that had happened today.

Ricky pour the liquor in his hand into his mouth. Everything is beginning to bore him out. Annabelle is still not giving him the attention he wants. Only God knows the last time he has fucked.
Two female trainees pass by him while chatting. Their face lit up noticing him in the dark. His face was a bit cold, his eyes red and and his lips with with alcohol hot. He is not wearing any top and he look hot with his muscular body.
Girls do crave to be on his bed even Bianca.. well except Annabelle..
They stop to stare at him with a firlty look on their face. Their dress hardly cover their private part.
Ricky eyes scan them from head to toe. He stand up from his seat and walked towards them.
“Go to my room”
Just those words are enough to drive them crazy. They are going to get laid by the boss younger brother. His is like a gold.

A knock jolt Ethan up from his sleep. His eyes opened slowly only to find out that he slept beside the window. His neck hurt from it.
“Ethan, are you still asleep?” His mother voice made his eyes widened.
Fuck! School.
He checked the time and saw it was 9:00am. Is he dreaming? He opened the door and found his mom standing by his door step.
“Why didn’t you wake me up sooner. I’m late for school already” he said.
“Oh geez” Serena poked his head and sighed. “It’s weekend sleepy head” she said.
Ethan blinked severally. She is right, it’s weekend, he forgot.
“Freshen up and take your breakfast, we have house chores to do” She said.

At evening, Ethan’s mind drifted to Annabelle. Is she okay? She look disturb when she left last night and unfortunately, he won’t be seeing her today.
“What are you thinking about”
“Uhm, nothing” Ethan quickly replied and continue his work.
“Hey, Fish!!” Liam’s voice sounded from a distance.
“Liam?” Ethan frowned spotting liam, Jennifer and Serene. “What are they doing here?” He muttered.
“I invited them for dinner” Selena replied with a smile.
Ethan return the smile but then wish Annabelle could be invited too. But why is he thinking about her a lot lately, that quite usual for him.

While eating dinner Liam and Selene kept on cracking jokes making the night lively. Jennifer on the other hand couldn’t help but kept on taking a peek on Ethan. Liam didn’t fail to notice.
“I saw the dog on the street, I don’t even know who owns it and you expect me to take it home because of it has a broken leg?” Liam asked Selene.

“Yes, you said the dog looks pitiful, how come you didn’t help it. That’s unfair. I would have helped it” Selene said. She is a dog lover.
“Well I’m not you” Liam said.
“Gawd, you are the most cruelest person I’ve ever met”
“Just because I didn’t save the dog?” Liam asked raised his brow.
“I’ve saved a lot of dogs so far and it didn’t hurt” Selene rolled her eyes.
“You both should get married” Ethan joined in.
“Yes, you suit each other perfectly” Jennifer also said.
“I can’t get married to someone this selfish” Selene said.
“And I can’t get married to a gangster” Liam said.
“What did you just call me?” Selene grab the chicken on her plate.
“Woah! Whoa!”
After the dinner, Jennifer was busy helping Ethan’s mother with the dishes.
“He is such a strong head isn’t he” Ethan’s mom said.
“Huh?” Jennifer wasn’t sure about what she meant.
“You like him, don’t you?” She asked.
Jennifer went mute not knowing what to say. Mrs Serena is sure good with studying people.
“Mrs, it’s not what you..”
“Don’t deny dear.. I saw the way you stare at him during the dinner”
Jennifer face dropped a little. If Mrs Serena could notice her feeling but why did Ethan didn’t notice?
“He is a slow wit.. I’m glad he is changed. I was worried when I saw his other side last year. I thought I’ve lost my son. I guess he change because of you” Mrs Serena said as she recall those time Ethan was a different person. He play around with girls, get drugged and fights around.. but how he changed all of a sudden was what surprised her.
“Actually no.. he didn’t change because of me. I also didn’t know the reason but the main thing is he stopped being an assho…” Jennifer covered her lips when she was about to complete the word.
“An asshole.. yeah” Mrs Serena said and the they both Chuckled. “I’ll like to have you stay around him”
“I am around him and I’m not going to leave.. he’ll always be my friend” Jennifer said.
“That’s not what I meant” Mrs Serena said.
Jennifer turn confused.
“You know what I mean dear” Mrs Serena winked and walked out of the kitchen.
‘Wait is she giving her the permission to date her son!’ Jennifer thought to herself with her face paled.

“Thank you for today!” Selene bow her head with a smile.
“Tssk! After eating four plates in a row. You’re such a glutton” Liam muttered.
“Hey! Want me to break your bones?” She shot a glare at him.
“You’re awfully quiet Ethan” Laim said.
“Oh, I’m just tired that’s all” he replied honestly.
“I’ll see you around” Jennifer said to him with a smile. Liam didn’t fail to notice the way she feels happy around Ethan. Does she like him that much?
“Yeah, you too” Ethan said patting her head.
Mrs Serena gave off a secret smile.
They all left while Ethan and his mother went back in.
“What do you think about Jennifer?” She asked.
“A friend.. why did you ask such a question?” He asked.
“Nothing, I just want you to know she is a good girl.. goodnight son” she said.
Ethan collapse on his bed and sighed out loud. He was tired with the work he did today.
“How Does it feel having friends?”
The voice made his eyes flew opened. He sat up and found Annabelle sitting on the window with one leg up. It was as if she was made for the dark.
“How long have you been there?” He asked.
“An hour ago” she replied.
“What? You could have join us for dinner”
“And have your mom question me on how I got in? Tssk” she scoffed with a small smile.
“You’ve changed… I like the new you” he said rendering her speechless. “Where did you go last night?”
“I told you not to ask me personal questions”
“I’m just curious” Ethan shrugged.
Annabelle jumped down from the window. “Alright no more distraction, I wanna learn how to use the computer”.
Ethan said and watch her sit in his bed. He bought out his laptop and placed it before her.
“Can you switch it on?” He asked.
“I can’t, show me” her words came out free.
Ethan nodded and taught her a few things about the computer. Annabelle was a fast learning she got the basics really quick.
“I’m impressed. It took me a whole week to learn what you just learn” he said.
Annabelle turn her head to look at him but her face got inches from him. She quickly shift back a little getting a weird feeling.
“Sorry” he said and she sighed.
Annabelle stood up. “I’m leaving, thanks for today”
She said thank you again.
“You’re welcome” Ethan said and she turn to leave through the window. She stopped and turn to face him.
“Good night. I’ll see you on Monday” she muttered and he frowned. Did he hear her wrong. She jump off the window before he could recover the shock.
Laying in his bed, Ethan sighed.. at least he got to see her today. He slept having smile on his face.

(MONDAY)
Mr Roman’s death was replaced as disappearance so non of the students know the truth. Only a few teacher, the Chancellor, Jennifer and Nana knew the truth.
“What do you mean we should keep quiet about this?” Jennifer was a bit upset about it. They were asked not to release the fact that Mr Roman kidnapped them.
Nana on the other hand was busy receiving treatment at the hospital.
“To protect the school image, you need to to do what I say. If the news of Roman abducting you two gets out there. It will affect the image of the school and even you the students. The media will assume every teachers here as a criminal.. do you want that to happen?” The school chancellor asked.
Jennifer kept quiet..
“I had the mind of firing him anyway, here is the proof” she bought out a sack later and show it to her.
After checking the later out Jennifer nodded. ‘okay miss.. i’ll do as you say” Jennifer said.
“Apart from you and.. who else was there?” She asked.
Jennifer swallowed nothing remember I’m that night. It was a bloody one for sure. Annabelle! Remembering her warning she replied.
“No, just the two of us… No one was there” Jennifer said.
“They killed themselves and then you escaped.. right?” The Chancellor asked finding Jennifer’s story strange.
“Yes, they refused to pay Mr Roman, he got upset and began to shoot. He was killed after that and I was rescued by the police.. that’s all” Jennifer said.

Getting out of the office Jennifer spot Ethan speaking with Annabelle. He sure doesn’t know who’s she really is..
She exhaled sharply and walked towards them with her hand clinched.
Annabelle who was busy eating chocolate saw her coming and her aura changed Instantly reading the look on Jennifer’s face.
“Is everything okay?” Ethan asked tracing her gaze to Jennifer.
“Hey Ethan” Jennifer greeted still having her gaze on Annabelle.
“Hey” Ethan greeted back.
“Can I speak with you for a minute?” Jennifer said.
Annabelle calm gaze was on her. She bought the chocolate in her mouth and take a bite. Her lips curve up a little. Jennifer find it creepy.
“Okay, I’m listening” Ethan replied.
“I wanna speak with you alone. Yunno without Annabelle here” Jennifer said.
“Why alone? Can’t I hear it” Annabelle finally speak up.
“Mind your business” Jennifer said coldly.
Ethan could feel the cold aura between both girls.
“Jennifer is there something wrong?” He asked.
“Of course there is”
“What is it” Annabelle was the one who asked.
“I guess you don’t mind me spilling it out?” Jennifer asked her.
“Of course I don’t.. spill it out.. I can’t wait to hear it” Annabelle said lightly and take a bite from her chocolate again. On her face was a small smirk, Her second free hand was dipped into her Pocket.. Jennifer didn’t fail to notice..
‘why am I getting goosebumps’ Jennifer thought.
Ethan was still waiting for her to speak.
Taking a deep breath, Jennifer Open her mouth..
