What I did in the past 30&31

Her eyes caught something under the bed…
She moved closer and observe drops of blood beside the bed. This scares the s.hi.t out of her. She bend down to look under the bed when her eyes caught Timothy corpse which is full of blood under the bed. She scre-med and run outside. She still find it hærd to believe . she rubbed her eyes very well and went in,side the room again but it is still the same. She left the place in an hurry before anyone could notice her. She wept bitterly as she board a bike back to her house. She liked Timothy and wished to start another new life with him but it is all ruined…who could have done this? Is it Kingsley? She asked herself as she broke into any fresh tears . Angrily, she left for Kingsley house.

Getting to his house, his door is locked from the inner and she could hear the mo-ns of a lady . She didn’t bother to knock and wait patiently for them to finish whatever thing
They are doing in,side. After few minutes, Kingsley opened the door and met Abigail outside. He sent the girl with him away and faced Abigail.

“You know what!

“What! Kingsley asked

“I regret the day I met you! I regret what you turned my life to! You have ruined me completely. I barely leave for 24hours and you have started bringing in another lady. You don’t love me at all. You only love me for the work you want to used me for and you have achieved your aim. Infact,you achieved many aims by k!lling that innocent boy. What has he done to you Kingsley? Why are you so w!cked
Did you want to k!ll me? You always derive joy in spoiling anything that relate to my joy . Why Kingsley why?” She asked and broke down into another round of tears while Kingsley move closer to her.

“I don’t understand what you are talking about? K!ll who?” He asked confused

“Don’t pretend to me Kingsley, you k!lled Timothy and I won’t forgive you for that”.

“I did not know anything about his death! Is he dead?” he asked.

“Why are you asking me questions that you already have the answers. I don’t have the time to talk to you but I will never forgive you for this” she said and went out in fury.

“Who is behind his death?” He asked himself.
He only called Kennedy on an errand he wants to send him. Who could have k!lled that guy?”.

After few days
At Timothy place.
His friend came to visit him after trying his number several times,his name is Joshua. He went near his house and his nostril is filled with an unpleasant odour. He barged into his house and observe everywhere before finding his corpse under the bed.

He trembled with fear and run out of his house. He couldn’t believe what he see in,side the house and went to the nearest station. He is crying already by the time he reached the police station. They promised to investigate the matter while they call on the morturary attendant to pack the corpse.

Timothy death spread like wildfire. Everyone is so sad about all this. Joshua wept the most. He didn’t know what to tell the old woman at home. He couldn’t bring himself to retrieve the corpse from the morturary.

After few days of mourning. They all summoned courage to inform the old woman and take his corpse around.

They met the old woman in the front of the house using firewood to prepare soup. She looked up to see Joshua his grandson friend along with few people looking all bad and sad.

“Welcome back Joshua! Did Timothy sent you to me?” She asked while Joshua nod his head.

“What did he say and where is him?” She asked but they all broke down into another round of tears . The old woman is getting impatient already and move closer to the bus they packed while Joshua tried to hold her back. She run to the bus and met her grandson corpse lying on the floor. She scre-med and shouted while people quickly hold her.

“Please take it easy ma”

“Dont tell me this is Timothy. It is not Timothy right! Joshua talk to me”. She shoutes while Joshua wept.

“Ah this is not him right! I am d.o.o.med. The only child that I am looking forward to all these years .why is my own labour in vain? Why is my life like this? But God i didn’t ask of this from you oooo. This is not how we discuss it Lord. I want my son back!!! She shouted while people hold her. They managed to take her in,side and keep on Patting her.

After a week
The old woman is in,side the house moving around. She blinked at regular intervals and sighed. She went in,side his room and take out his pic , holding it to her chest while she broke down in tears again.

“I have nothing else to do in this world again. What else am I waiting for? The only son I am looking forward to all this while is gone but God this is not how I want my life to be”.

She went in,side and brings out a poison. She opened the cover and glanced around the house before talking.

“I c.u.r.s.ed anyone that take part in my grandson death. That person will never know peace. That person will never have a child of it’s own , be it a male or female or anyone that caused the death to my son. Ahhh! I can’t continue like this! I can’t”. She shouted and gulped down the content….

Frank opened his mouth in awe while favour just keep looking.

“You have done this much thing in the past and you decided to hide everything away. It is really bad” he said while Abigail cried out.

“I had no choice then! My mum like putting the family responsibilities on me because am the first daughter. The pressure is too much for my life”. She cried out while favour patted her back.

“It is okay ma! Everything is in the past”.

She sneeze and wiped off the tears on her face while favour directed a question to her.

“How did you know that it is that old woman curse that is affecting you?” She asked.

“I always see the old woman in my dream telling me to confess or else I won’t have a child of my own”.

“But! You are not the one that k!lled his son nah!

” It is through me that Timothy was k!lled because I am the cause. I know the kind of confraternity I am and because of my stûpid love knowing fully well that my confraternity will affect him. I went ahead to sleep with him. I am part of the causes . I should have know I should have left that group before dating Timothy. My ignorance then caused me that poor innocent guy death. If I didn’t have anything to do with him naw, the innocent boy will still be alive now”.

“Stop blaming yourself for his death! It is destined that he will die that day, you are just like coincidence to him and I want you to know that the person that God don’t k!ll no one in this Earth can k!ll that person”. Frank interrupted.

“But who actually k!lled Timothy?” Favour asked.

“It is time to eat. We will discuss about that Tomorrow. It is late already”

“I will do the cooking” favour insisted while Frank led Abigail into his room.

In his room
“Am sorry for keeping all this from you even when we met during my nysc service”.

“It is okay! But it is painful to me. I am your confidant, you shouldn’t have hide anything from you and you know about my own past why are you hiding yours”.

“I am sorry my husband, I did alot of grievous things in d past that why was I hide it away from you. Such won’t repeat itself again”. She pleaded while frank hugged her.

Favour informed them about their meal and they both went out to eat before sleeping.

The next day being Sunday
They went for church service before retiring back to the house.

“Please I can’t wait to hear the rest of the story” favour pleaded while frank laugh.

“Let’s eat and rest very well before continuing the story” she replied ….

After few minutes
Flashback
Kingsley tried Abigail’s number but she is not picking up. He wanted to talk to her , after several times of calling. He decided to visit her. He don’t bother to knock on her door because she won’t open up and barge into her room.

She met her weak body on the mattress covering herself up with a blanket.

“What happened?” He asked moving closer to her while she managed to push him away.

“It is me Kingsley. Why are you shaking?”

“I had malaria and I was too weak to go out” she replied while Kingsley carried her in,side his car. He slammed the door behind and drive off.

Getting to the hospital, she was rushed into the ward while the doctor told him to calm down.

“Can I stay with her doctor?” He asked

“No! You can’t for now but you can come later” . The doctor replied while he left the hospital.

Getting to his house
He placed a call to Kennedy
“Have you found out about who k!lled the innocent boy?” He asked while Kennedy replied.

“Yes boss. I am on my way to your house”.

“Be fast dear. I will be waiting for you”. He replied.

Kennedy arrived at his house and went in.
“How far Kennedy? Who is behind the death?”

“Boss please I want you to calm down on this! I know how painful it will be for you but you just had to calm down”

“Talk to me I am not afraid”.

“Alright boss”.

“Did you know this new confraternity that started after red confraternity were disabled?”

“Yeah! I know them. What about them because we stayed in each other’s lane”.

“Rizco has joined their group and he is the one that reported Timothy to them”.

“Reported as how? How does he concern him?”

“Boss! He smartly played his game. He knows about your movement and Is aware of Abigail new boyfriend. He had to k!ll the guy so that Abigail will think that it is you. He is planning to ruin the group”.

“Ehn! That guy nah!

“Yes boss”

“And he know me well o, he knows that I am not that soft”.

“That is what I found out sir”.

“No problem! They should prepare for war. I am going to k!ll every member of that group”. He said .

“Kennedy! Inform the other members to be wary from now on and to prepare for the war because I had somewhere to go to “.

“Alright boss” he replied and left.

Kingsley went back to the hospital. He checked on Abigail and still met her sleeping. She look beautiful. He knows that people will be after his life when he sign out but what about Abigail’s life . He don’t want it to be like his own life. He is the one that pushed the innocent girl into what she is now! She is not afraid of k!lling anyone. He will watch over her. The doctor call on him.

“Good afternoon Mr Kingsley”.

“Good afternoon doctor”.

“Yeah! Straight to the point! We carried out series of test on your girlfriend and..

“And what! He cut in.

“Calm down sir. You don’t need to panick”.

“Your girlfriend is…

His girlfriend is what?”
