Piper closed her locker after drawing out her jersey and short. Her practice will be starting in ten minutes.

“Did you hear the news?” One of her teammate ran towards her.

“What?” Piper asked dryly.

“Newton didn’t win the case, he was sentenced 25 years imprisonment. Gosh! I can’t believe this” she explained showing Piper her phone screen.

Piper walked away without replying. That’s non of her business, Newton asked for it.

She stopped her track when she saw Mason talking to the girl who kissed him.

They were both chatting and laughing while walking together.

Piper found herself staring, not able to take her gaze off him.

Mason’s eyes suddenly move to her but avert afterwards. They haven’t spoken since yesterday.

Piper took a sharp breath when they both walked pass her.

“what is wrong with me?” she muttered.

Leonard was busy doing some graphics on his system when his phone rang. He rolled his eyes seeing the ID caller before picking it up.

“What?”

“Is that a way to talk to your father? How dare you ignore my calls and texts?” A angry voice sounded through his phone.

“How did you find my number? I told you I don’t want to have anything to do with you if you still don’t want me to make my own choice!” Leonard almost yelled.

“My choice is your choice. You don’t have the right to go against me boy! Come home or I’ll bring you home myself!”

“I see you’re still the same. I’m never going to do what you want” he gritted his teeth.

“What else do you want in a woman. Rachel is strong, tall, beautiful and a bold woman a man can die for. Why are you so different? Marrying her would benefit the company greatly and you won’t regret having such a sweet cake by your side” the voice came out a bit calm this time.

“Other men can go to hell and die for her but not me. I don’t like her and that’s final. In fact I have a girl now who is so much better than that slut!” Leonard yelled.

“You better watch your tongue…”

Leonard cut the phone call before his dad could finish. His phone rang almost immediately and he switched it off.

He pulled his hair in anger and groaned out in frustration.

His family told him about this Rachel right from when he was Ten. They betrothed him with a girl who he didn’t love. The craziest part was, they have been planning to get them married since he was little.

Only Raymond and Jake knows about it.

Elsa put down the pancakes she made. Sighing, she went towards the room Raymond shut himself in.

“Ray” she knocked lightly but no reply.

“Ray, open the door!” She said louder but still no reply.

“Ray we need to talk. Are you planning to lock yourself in there forever?!” She yelled then pout her lips.

She knocked again thinking of what to say.

“Babe, if you aren’t going to come out then I’m leaving!” She yelled. Her words work this time because she heard a click sound from inside. The door slowly opened revealing Raymond.

His hair was messy, face paled.

“You’re so loud” those were his first word to her.

“Loud, is that what you’ve got to say?” She raised her brow.

“Yeah, I’m trying to have some peace” he muttered.

“Right, enjoy your peace. I’m leaving” she said turning to leave but his strong arm dragged her back to himself.

“You made dinner?.. I’m hungry” he said with a blank look on his face.

“You’re unbelievable” she rolled her eyes.

“Should I eat you instead? I don’t mind though” he teased.

“Raymond we need to talk”

“If it’s about Mrs Brown then don’t cus she had the chance and she didn’t use it” he said walking pass her.

Elsa twisted her lips thinking of what to do. She followed him to the kitchen.

“Hm, nice.. I wanted to cook dinner but I’ll do that some other time” he said checking the food she made.

Elsa only kept quiet while watching him with her hands folded below her breast.

“What’s with the look?” He asked.

“You know what this look means”

“C’mon Elsa, I don’t want to talk about it so let’s not talk about it” he muttered.

“So when are we going to talk about it, she is your mother you can’t change that fact” Elsa said.

Raymond dropped the spoon in annoyance.

“Elsa please, can you stop for now. I’ve had enough of this already” He said. His cold face enough was enough to shut her up.

Elsa left the place and entered the room.

Raymond swept his hair backwards tapping his finger on the kitchen counter.

Getting in, Elsa went straight to the bathroom to have a nice shower. Pulling her pantie down she gasps with her eyes wide opened.

Wilson hit his hand on the wall. His face squeezed in anger.

“The higher authority asked us to close Newton’s case sir. There nothing we can do” Ryan, his second colleague said.

“I’m not following the damn authority. I know black Venom is behind this and I’m going to find him” Wilson clinched his jaw hard.

“Wilson is right, we can’t let this man be. Innocent lives would keep suffering if this man is not caught” Lisa who was also in the room said.

“Isn’t this too risky? I mean you saw what happened to Lawyer Vincient. His right arm was cut off with a saw, he is still unconscious in the hospital” Ryan shrugged and Wilson sighed.

“Yeah, you’re right. I should let this go. Venom is too strong for me and I have a family to Carter for” Wilson nodded.

“What? Why the change of mind Wilson?” Lisa frowned.

“Just like what Dagon had said Lisa, he’s everywhere. Ryan is right. We can’t beat him. We just have to be careful”

Lisa shook her head not believing she was hearing those words from Wilson himself. The man who swore to bring Black Venom out and chew him like a gum?

“Right, we can’t beat this man” Ryan muttered.

“Good job guys, I’ll be leaving now, it’s late” Wilson said leaving the room.

Lisa rolled her eyes at Ryan.

“Scared rat” she muttered standing to her feet.

“I’m not scared I’m just considerate. I’m not ready to lose my love ones.. like you” Ryan said and Lisa hissed.

“C’mon Lisa when are we going have a date!” He yelled at her while she leaves the room.

Wilson stepped out of his car after parking it well in his garage.

Getting inside, he head towards his room and close all windows and curtains.

After that, he went towards a board with a white cloth covering it. He opened the white cloth revealing pictures, red lines and pin.

He pulled out Ryan’s picture and pinned it on the wall.

Ryan’s word echoed in his head. His word made his suspect him.

No one knew how Vincent right arm was cut off. How else did Ryan know. A spy? Venom is sure invisible.

The picture of Raymond, Nora, Piper, Dagon, Dora, Natasha, Newton, The judge and some victims he knew they were somehow connected were on the wall.

He pulled out Vincient picture and pinned it one side too.

They all have a red line connecting to a picture. It was a man on suit with no face.

“Who told you.. I was going to give up?” He muttered.

The sound of footsteps made him stand alert.

He pulled out his gun and pointed it towards the door taking slow steps towards it.

He took a sharp in take of breath before pushing the door slightly.

His eyes dart around but a kick threw his gun away.

Wilson threw his arm backwards with the aim of punching the person behind him but his attack was blocked. He grabbed his other gun from his pocket.

Zeke also pulled out his gun and they both pointed it at each other.

“Nice move detective” Brahms came out from the shadow with an amusing smile on his face.

“Who are you? Drop your gun” Wilson said coldly.

“We are not here a fight.. I just wanted to have a little talk with you” Brahms said calmly as Zeke and Wilson kept glaring at each other.

Raymond got back from a little stroll. He had asked Elsa to join him but she had refused.

He was expecting to see her doing some crazy thing in the Living room but she wasn’t there.

‘Is she still in the room’ he thought.

“Elsa” he knocked before opening the door.

Worries flashed on Raymond’s face as he saw her curled up like a ball. Her face was squeezed as if she was in pain.

“Elsa” He ran towards her and held her arm. She opened her eyes slowly. “You alright?” He noticed her holding her stomach.

“It hurts” she mubbled.

An hour later, Raymond could be seen pacing around the hospital.

The doctor came out and he sped up to him.

“Is she okay?” He asked, he bought her here since he was scared as hell.

“Yeah, it was just her monthly flow mister. There’s no need to be so worried” The doctor said.

“Monthly flow? You mean the..” he paused not knowing what to say.

The doctor chuckled at his reaction.

“She’s fine now. You can go see her” He said walking pass Raymond.

Raymond rushed to the ward and found her sitting. Her face was back to normal.

“How are you feeling?” He asked touching her head.

“I’m fine. You didn’t have to bring me here” Elsa smiled at his worried face.

“Do you know how scared I was. I thought I was going to lose you” Raymond mumbled.

“Tssk.. you’re so cute” she teased.

“Don’t start” he raised his brow. “So this happened every month?” He asked curiously.

“Yeah, the pain only last for a day and then it disappears” she explained.

“Argh shit” he cursed out.

“What?” She chuckled.

“That means I’m gonna have an heart attack every fucking months” he Joked and she laughed hard.

That’s what he wanted to hear.

His phone rang, seeing it’s Ben he bit down his lips before dropping his phone.

“Why aren’t you picking?” Elsa asked.

“It’s Ben. I wanna stay out of that world for now. I wanna be with you even if it’s for a few days” he stated and her heart swell.

“I thought you said you’re not used to sweet talks” she asked.

“I know right? I still don’t know what you did to me” he said shaking his head.

His phone rang again and he made to switch it off but Elsa stopped him.

“You should take it. It might be really important” She said.

“Fine” He finally gave in.

Some nurse came in for Elsa and he excused them.

He swipe green and placed the phone on his ear.

“Really Ray!!” Came a scream from Ben, Raymond pulled his phone away from his ear.

“Geez Ben. I know I riled you up but don’t yell” Raymond said.

“Do you know how worried I was? Why were you not picking your damn phone?” He asked.

“There’s no need to be worried about me. A lot of shit happened lately” Raymond replied.

“Where the fuck are you?”

“The hospital”

“You kicked someone’s ass?”

“What no Ben. My Girl is sick right now so I’m with her” Raymond replied.

“Your Girl” Ben sighed over the phone.

“What’s with the sound?”

“I guess I’m gonna say this on phone since you keep shutting me out” Ben said.

“Your Girl is Raider’s daughter”

Ben broke the news and Raymond stiffened trying to process what he just heard.

“Huh?” He whispered after a while.

“Raider’s real names is Cole Rolland. He have two daughters. Elsa, your girl and Piper the one in highschool”

Raymond paused and look back. He could see Elsa thought the transparent mirror. She was chatting with the nurse.

“His wife and son died in a fire incident years ago. Elsa was the only survivor”

Raymond face turned paled listening to Ben.

‘My mom and brother died on a fire’ he remembered Elsa’s word.

“You said you killed Raider and his gangs and you almost shot an highschool girl who have a scar on her left leg” Ben’s voice sounded again.

‘I got the scar from the fire incident’ Elsa voice echoed in his head.

“Elsa is that girl Raymond. She’s Raider’s daughter” Ben stopped talking for a while.

Raymond eyes was still on her the whole time. She’s Raider’s daughter? The girl he almost killed? He didn’t realize the tear that escaped his eyes.

“Ray?” Ben voice sounded.

“Yeah, I.. I’ll call you back” he muttered cutting the call immediately.

The nurse came out and he went in slowly.

“Hey” Elsa smiled brightly.

His gaze went to the scar on her leg. It was exactly the same. How come he didn’t realize that.

“Did someone happened?” Elsa asked and he sat beside her not looking at her eyes.

“Your dad, how did he die?” Raymond asked having a little string of hope that what he heard was not true.

Elsa face turned confused.

“I told you he was shot by an unknown person” she replied.

“Describe the person” he demanded look up at her this time. He eyes was red and tears threaten to fall from them.

“Are you crying?” She tried to move closer.

“Just answer the question Elsa” he said.

“I don’t know how he looks like. He was wearing a mask and cap. I was only able to see his emerald eyes when he pointed a gun at me. He shot the wall and disappeared when I opened my eyes” she explained.

Raymond could taste the bile raising in his throat.

“What the name of your father?”

“Ray what’s going on? You’re scaring me”

“Just answer please” his voice came out pleading.

“His name is Cole Rolland. Most people call him Raider”

Immediately those words left her lips Raymond look down. His palm went to his face and he grit his teeth hard.

Again, his past is hunting him. When is this pain gonna end?

“Ray” she called lightly but he stood facing his back at her so she won’t see him cry.

“I’ll be right back” he said dashing out.

“Ray!!” She called out but he left already.

Reaching outside the hospital, Raymond pulled his hair roughly. He kept on walking further non-stop for minutes.

It was so dark outside already.

He killed Elsa’s father, He doesn’t deserve her, What happens when she finds out? He is a murderer.

“F**k!!!!” He yelled madly as his trauma hit him hard. His sight turned blurry and his walking was not balance, he kept on pulling his hair. His breath wasn’t normal.

His sedative was not with him at the moment and the news he just heard was making it worse.

A loud honking sound was heard. All he could see was a bright light as a fast vehicle came before him with full speed….
