CHAPTER TEN: THE BALL 3( HIS LITTLE GAME 4)
” You must be sick lord ju-li” I push him back the moment those words of jealousy came out of his mouth, my heart won’t stop beating, it’s not fear, I won’t lie either, am excited.
I have lived for five years without a word of desire from anyone, and during these five years, lord ju-li was there, so they are a chance that am excited to kiss him but not because I feel for him.
Just to quench my thirst temporarily, looking around. I exhale when no one is around ” am leaving”
” Jing?”
” It’s Queen Jing to you ” I look at him ” I considered you a friend and you came here with such rubbish in your head?” I frown ” am a married woman and God forbid I stain my body with your hands ”
My words might have gotten to him, but his eyes turned a little sad and cold” My brother will never love you, he has Mona ” he stepped closer to my direction ” I, on the other hand, will keep choosing you ”
” I will rather die alone ” and with that, I leave the library with the novel, what has happened to lord ju-li, he has a fiancee for goodness sake.
Am even older than he is, and he certainly thinks because he looks manly and taller, he has the right to talk to me in such manners.
Clenching the book to my chest, I just can’t stop feeling troubled, is something going to happen? I can’t shake this feeling off me “Fang” I look to my left, she is trying to keep up with me
” My Queen ”
” Did you notice anyone, getting in the library”
” Am sorry milady, my attention was divided ”
” Divided?” Stopping, I look at her ” I told you to stand watch!”
” Forgive me milady ” She bowed her head and I hiss, my feet fasten back to my quarters as different thoughts swirl in my head. And all these thoughts are related to the documents I stole from lord Muchen.
Opening my drawers, I frown. The documents are gone, where did I place them, am pretty sure I kept them right here ” Clara!!!” Calling the maid I left standing guard when I was in the library, she rush in and I frown.
” Did you let anyone in?”
” Yes milady, lord Li-mu” she mumble ” he came with the king’s permission”
” Get out ”
“Am sorry my queen ” she apologized then ran out, running my hands through my hair, I sit on the bed and frowned, pretty sure something is happening.
The king got the documents, he is probably in the lead right now, what stupid game was he talking about? Now that he has the documents, am sure he won’t see the need to talk or get a glimpse of my face anymore.
I lost my hold on him.
What do I do now? I have lost all rational thinking ” Milady!!!” Fang’s voice alerted me “Horrible news ” she rush into my chambers, and close the door ” The maids, queen, and concubines are gossiping about you ”
” Me?”
” Rumor has it that you have been kissing and spending your night with lord ju-li, he is the father of the unborn child lord Muchen talked about ”
” What nonsense!” Standing up, I clench my hands.
” It is said Queen Mona started this gossip ” I frown at that, Queen Mona? Of all queens? She wouldn’t.
Sitting right back on the chair, I frown…..I just left lord ju-li and then this rumor erupted faster than I could think, lord ju-li won’t do this, Queen Mona can’t make things work this fast.
Lord Muchen?
He wouldn’t dare, he already got the documents so what else will he want to cause such a stir, I can only think of Queen Xiang or Hua, those two ladies hate my existence. ” This is horrible” laying on my bed “Let me take a nap, am too exhausted for this drama ”
” Yes milady “she left, shutting the door and I close my eyes, trying to think and fix all the tiny pieces, xiang and Hua can’t make the rumor spread this fast, In a matter of seconds, I left the library and if that’s what will make them suspicious, the rumor should be rampant tomorrow morning not this Evening.

Whoever did this must have planned it before or during when I was still in the library to make people believe, ju-li would have left after me, solidifying their claim.
All these came down to one claim, it’s either the king or Ju-li, Muchen might have done it out of hatred while Ju-li will do it to get me kicked out of the palace.
Lord Muchen should know am not stupid to have just one document, dipping my hands into my pillow, I pull out the duplicate, I had someone fake the king’s handwriting, they are no different and since he did use the royal seal on it, no one can say it’s fake.
how stupid is he, am pretty sure he is the one that set this rumor and he will cancel it, with his hands.
Getting up, I look through the window, the sun is going to rest “Fang?”
” Yes milady ”
” Prepare my dinner, am starving ” With that, I move to the bathing chamber, do the necessary, put on a black flowery hanfu, and lose my hair down with tiny flowers at the sides, I pick up my pieces of jewelry and put them on.
Strawberry-scented perfume, then move towards my dining hall, I took my precious time in eating, and resting for an additional hour before I move towards my husband’s quarters, on the carriage of course.
Getting down, I ask all of them to wait behind me, getting in, I check the king’s chamber but he isn’t there “Where is he” asked the butler, he pinpointed to the garden and I didn’t waste any more time before.
” You came faster than I anticipated ”
” Am glad you long to see me ” he chuckles at that, anyone will know it’s fake, he drops the water sprayer and then turn around to look at me.
” Queen Jing, don’t you think it’s inappropriate for you to see me whenever you wish? ” His eyes were cold as always “Being my first wife means nothing, I have others ”
” Should I praise you because you have four others?” Furrowing my brows, I fold my hands and look at him “Why spread such a nasty rumor about me ”
” And now you’re blaming me” he step closer, his hair tied in a high ponytail while he was out on a white Zhiju ” You don’t trust me ”
” I Know it’s your doing but why?”
” I have no idea of what you speak of ” he walks pass me and I lift my garment to keep up with him
” Lord Muchen”
” Are you planning on joining me for dinner Jing ”
” I asked you a question” he didn’t bother to reply to me after that, he walk straight into his dining hall and I followed “Milord”
” I will like to eat in silence” he sit down and I frown “If you aren’t hungry, sit and watch “Pulling out a chair, I sit down, hands folded while he eat his food and in the process, I just couldn’t help but stare.
He truly has red lips, are they painted? Is that why his lips taste so good “Dirty thoughts?” His words slap me back to reality and I roll my eyes ” no words, smart ”
This silence went on for hours, he stop eating but kept on drinking his red wine, from the expression on his face, each time he taste it, I know it is bitter…. though only his eyes did move strangely, the rest of his face has always been expressionless.
” Lord Muchen”
” Queen Jing ” he looks at me ” forgive me for disappointing but I have nothing to do with your affair ”
” The documents”
He smiles “They are in my hands ” Meeting his gaze, I pull out the other, making it look original ” But you forgot to check it probably Milord ” no expression, but his eyes darken ” am not stupid enough to hide it in a drawer ”
” Queen Jing ”
” I don’t care, how you made this rumor spread this fast…… ” I stop talking when he stands to his feet, moves close to the chair, pulls it out, and makes sure his both hands are positioned on the armrest of the chair while am placed in between” Ma…make it go…go away ” am starting to stammer, he is close, too close.
” Don’t you think you’re playing a dangerous game?” Those eyes of his are back to being dark, what made them change anyway ” Jing ” his growl brought me back, and my heart beat fast.
” You started this game “Clenching my hands, I look him straight in the eye ” I only asked for the opportunity to bear your child ”
” My child? You have been with my brother haven’t you?” He growls “You might even be….” I didn’t allow him to finish his statement before slapping him.
” Don’t you dare ” Before I could process anything, his hands grab me by the neck, he didn’t add pressure tho but he did look angry.
“Nobody hit me Jing “Those eyes turn red “Ever!” I had no idea what got over me but I slapped him two more times, I had no idea why he was starting to breathe fast, eyes starting to look bloody.
Before I go ask him to let go of me, he crushes his lips down on mine, in a rough and hard way, biting my tongue in the process.
Blood will flow from that hard bite, I tried struggling but he add pressure to my neck whenever I struggle, he is sucking my tongue, tasting more blood from it, and at the same time, keep kissing me.
I won’t deny the fact that am dripping wet right now.

CHAPTER ELEVEN: THE BALL 4( HIS LITTLE GAME 5)
Stepping back, I lick my lips and stare at Jing, how she tries catching her breath, confusion evident in her eyes ” You bite me!” She growls the moment she finishes catching her breath.
” It’s punishment” Smiling, I lift my hand and her gaze follows, showing her I have the upper hand now, two documents in my possession ” I win” She clenches her hands, looking pale, I might have done too much.
” Lord Muchen ” Furrowing my brows, I stare at her as she stands up and move closer ” you need to fix this, my reputation”
” I certainly don’t look like I care, do I?”
” Am your wife”
” Why did I marry you?” Asking, I move back to my seat, sit down and stare at her “Can you tell me why I married you?”
” You don’t see me reading your brain right?”
” Joking aren’t you” Smiling, I proceeded in sipping another cup of bitter blood, why is it only her blood that tastes nice, I can’t stand drinking from someone else without the thought of throwing up, if I can only feed from her, I can’t have her dying on me. “Here’s an unpopular opinion, eat more veggies….it might calm you down ”
” Lord Muchen”
” I don’t care about your reputation Jing ” growling, I notice how she steps back in fright “You can handle it yourself, just don’t bother me ”
” Why do you hate me and kiss me at the same time ” She steps closer ” Am fade up of you ” I watch her pick up the glass of blood “Go to hell lord Muchen” and With that, she pours everything on my head, it flows down to my face and cloth, am putting on white for goodness sake! ” Here’s an unpopular opinion, I will be the one sending you to hell”
” Milord?” Hearing Mona’s voice, my gaze travel to the door to stare at Mona, she looks shocked “Queen Jing, how could you do that to the king ” She hurry in my direction, with a piece of cloth to clean my face ” Are you okay ” looking at her blue eyes.
I smile ” Yes milady”
” You should think of your actions Queen Jing” Mona turn around and stare at Jing “Just because the king heard you were cheating and probably confronted you, doesn’t mean you will act this way with him “Here is Mona, never thinking, just jumping to conclusions.
How is this baby still alive in her womb? Do I need to deal with it myself?
” You do not have any idea of what’s happening, so stay out of this!” Jing growl and then look at me but I simply shrug, enjoying the show “You should leave, am not done talking to him ”
” Am sorry Queen Jing, I can’t leave you with the father of my child, not after what you just did. ” I notice how Jing’s brows furrow.
” Mona, the father of your child ” she move closer to Queen Mona ” is my husband “I notice how Mona tremble in her feet, she is scared…. Jing is feisty.
I can’t say I hate it.
I do want to see her fragile side too, but the fact I will need her to be at my side cause of this blood issue annoys me.
” You know what, you two can go to hell ” Jing turn around to leave but I just had to stop her.
” Queen Jing” calling, she stopped and turn around “Don’t you think I need an apology for this?” Getting up from the chair, I widen my arms for her to see the stain.
” Oh yes” she smiled and that alone alerted me, her feet walk at a normal pace straight in my direction, standing one inch from me “Milord, surely this wasn’t enough”
I furrow my brows but before I could react, she lifts the chicken leg from the plate and Rob it all over my cloth, I just couldn’t help but to smile “You needed more ” moan grabbing the chicken from Jing’s hands but I just couldn’t help but to smile at Jing. ” Now excuse me ” With that, she walks away.
She is angry and am sure, I will not be seeing her anytime soon “Milord” my attention finally moves to stare at a sad Mona “Are you okay ”
” Devastated milady ” Holding her hands I mumble “Let’s wash off together ”
” Milord, am pregnant ”
” Surely the physician didn’t say you can’t have intercourse during this time, right?”

” He did and Queen Jing also nodded to the fact “Getting go of her hands, I frown, Jing is truly an annoying human, am pretty sure Mona is too stupid to think otherwise.
” The child should just die ” I murmur more to myself
” Milord ”
” Go back to your quarters “Moving out of the dining room, I could hear her footsteps follow me from behind
” Did I offend you or…..”
I cut her off “Queen Mona, finally go back to your quarters, I did not remember calling you “Turning around, I stare at tears dropping from her tears
” Why are you suddenly pushing me away?” More tears fall and I frown ” I just want to be with you. Did I wrong you anyway, you keep behaving differently ”
Her tears are even more annoying than Jing’s tears. ” Leave ” That was my last word before moving to my chamber and to my surprise, Queen Jing is seating on my bed “You’re here ”
” I knew for a fact that you will try seducing Queen Mona” she stand to her feet ” just had to make sure, she leaves before I do ”
” You brilliant girl ” smiling, I didn’t bother to alert her before taking off my cloth, and left with my underwear, I notice the red stain on her cheeks ” Are you fascinated?”
” Yes” she stood her ground, ” I told you didn’t I, am obsessed”
” You’re bold too ”
” You’re quite wicked” I frown at her words “A year ago, you were all over Queen Mona, and the moment, you heard of a child in her, your behavior changed” she mumbles without realizing am already standing, an inch away from her ” how do you see women, tools?”
” You confuse me Jing ” I lean close ” Do you want me for yourself or not “My words might have left her speechless or the fact am this close to her
She swallows quite softly ” I do but that’s ……”
Cutting her off, I withdraw ” Then shut up Jing ” Dropping the documents in my drawer, I look at her “You can leave now, Mona is probably gone ”
” It’s late ”
I frown” I know that ”
” I don’t feel safe moving outside this late, ” I notice how she sits on the bed ” am spending my night here ”
” You’re insane ” I growl
” Am not ” she lay under the sheets and yawned “Good night milord ” I lose my hair and then stare at her, laying peacefully on my bed.
What a case, is a queen supposed to act this way?
The sounds of water made me realize, he just entered the bathing chamber, if fang didn’t stop me, I would have met Ju-li in my quarters which will justify this rumor.
Even if I had sent him away, no one will know, it will all be about him leaving my quarters late at night, the only option I had was to stay here till the next day and leave the king’s quarters early in the morning.
That won’t stop the rumor but I will think of something else, turning around, I stare at the document he placed in the drawer, didn’t think twice to pick it up, and hid it in my garment.
Laying down on the bed, I look at the ceiling, eyes closed and thoughts on the early kiss, my tongue still hurt from that bite, why did he do that anyway?
I can see hatred in his eyes but his actions are confusing, he hates me or not? You don’t kiss someone you hate. Everyone knows that.
I feel a drop of water on my cheek, my eyes open and I stare at lord Muchen looking down at me, his hands on each side of the bed, placing me in between “Bring out the documents Jing ”
” Am not with it ”
” Don’t make me angry ”
” Will you kiss me if I do?” I furrow my brows and he smiles
” You will like that, won’t you ” he leaned closer, his right leg between both of my legs, I could feel his breath on my face and then to my ear as he whispered ” I will bite you Jing, and trust me, not in a good way ”
I stare at his angry eyes when he withdraws, I return it right back to him and try calming myself down.
” You’re easy to please aren’t you ” he look at me, giving me that cold expression “Just one night with you and am sure you will be following me everywhere…. completely obsessed” My heart hurt at his choice of words “Don’t you have shame Jing, you’re throwing yourself at a man ”
” Muchen” was the first time I drop the title, sitting up I look at him “You’re my husband and I truly do not appreciate just words coming from you ” I couldn’t help it, no matter how tough I am.
His words always bring me to tears.
” Jing ” he smiles ” you look ravishing when you cry ”
This bastard.
