I took Dad to my study wondering what he wants to say.
I’m still mad about the last incident that I don’t want to see his face.. I settled down on my seat and faced him. A silent way of saying go on.
“Khalid.. I just wanted you to understand something. I know your mother’s behavior towards your girlfriend is uncalled for. You know how she gets when she looses her temper. Please accept us, we’re sorry son”
Wow! I can’t remember the last time dad spoke to me like this.
We don’t have those father and son relationsh¡p like other family do so..
“Dad why are you telling me something I know? I don’t care if mom has a temper. She doesn’t have the right to treat June that way. If that’s all you have to say then I’m out. If you’ve truly forgiven her then show it through your action”
I walked out of the study to the living room only to find the ladies discussing like they’re long list sisters.
I blinked in shock, what happened here?
I thought they were enemies?
Hmm, whatever. Women are a confusing set of people.
“Oh son, we’ll be hosting dinner on Sunday. Will you.. will you guys come?”
“No Mom, we’d be leaving tomorrow”
June gasp”We are?”
I smiled at her”Yes babe,I need to get back to work”
My parents left shortly after that. I went back to my study to catch up on a little while June went to the kitchen for God knows what.
Some hours later,I heard a knock on the door.
“It’s open”
The knob turned and opened revealing June. I raised my brows in surprise.
“Hey, you need something?” I asked gently. Damn! When did I started speaking nice?
*Since you wanted into her p-nties dude* My subconscious mind muttered
June played flimsily with her fingers”Um..I wanted to ask you for something”
Hmm so cute. My intrest was already piqued the moment she stepped in.
“What do you want to ask?” I rested my hand on my desk and waited for her reply.
“Um…you know my friend is here”
I gro-ned inwardly. Gee I’m really disappointed. I thought she wanted to ask for something nice not about her d’ck of a friend.
“I know your friend is here June,why do you ask?”
I kinda know what she’s about to ask.”Ok,go on”
“Can I go see
What do you want to ask?” I rested my hand on my desk and waited for her reply.
“Um…you know my friend is here”
I gro-ned inwardly. Gee I’m really disappointed. I thought she wanted to ask for something nice not about her d’ck of a friend.
“I know your friend is here June,why do you ask?”
I kinda know what she’s about to ask.
“Can I go see Kayla?”
“Please Khal, you said it’s our last day here,I want to..you know..erm have fun alittle”
Her face flushed as she said that..so cute.
An idea popped into my head as I watched her. I want her, I want to have her tonight. And I must.
My brain started calculating how I’m going to do that.
“Why are you staring? Aren’t you going to answer!” June asked shyly.
I smirked”Come ‘ere”
It took time before she made her way to me. I pulled her to sit on my laps.
“What are doing!”
Instead of answering,I k-ssed her softly and felt so damn glad that she didn’t push me away.
It made me smile cause now I’m sure my plans will work out. Oh Khalid, you’re such a genius 😋
I became out of breath so I broke the k-ss.
June smacked my hand”What did you do that for!”
I saw a blush on her face and smirked”Looks like you enjoyed it”
She growled cutely”Let me go”
Of course I didn’t, I tightened my hands around her”I like you here”
“Be serious Khal! I want to see Kay”
I smiled”I love the way you call my name” I saw her glare”Ok ok.. let’s go out tonight. I’ll ask someone to prepare a dress for you. Go shower already”
She clapped giddily”Thank you! I.. I also have a request for you”
“What is that?”
“It’s about Leila.”

I left Khalid’s study with a smile on my face. Gosh I can’t believe he fulfilled my wish without a second thought.
I actually told him about Leila’s school.. if he can let her study and surprisingly, he agreed.
I know she’ll be flabbergasted when she hears this.
Once I got to the room, I took off my clothes and went to bathroom to shower.
Thirty minutes later.
I stepped out of the tub, toweled off before walking out of the bathroom. I saw a box on the bed.
I’m guessing that’s the clothes Khalid said he was going to get me. Hmm, he hasn’t told me where we are going and it’s getting late already.
I opened the box, picked up the black dress.. raising it up to get a clear view of it. I could only gasp and stare at it in horror.
He expects me to wear this?
It was too showy!
I’m sure half of my body will be exposed if I wear this. The door opened just then and Khalid walked in.
I blushed when his eyes ran over my body, I could only tighten my hold on my towel.
“I see you’ve seen the dress I bought for you”
“Y.. you want me to wear this?”
He came closer”Why yes June, it’s either you wear this or we remain at home. So what do you say?”

💞 Khalid
I watched in amusement as her eyes went big like a saucer.
“You! You’re so.. so”
“So is that a yes?” I asked ignoring her astonished look.
Instead of answering, she huffed and walked back to the bathroom. Hmm, im guessing thats a yes.
I quickly dressed up and waited downstairs for her. My phone beeped, indicating a text.
It’s from Charles saying they’re ready. I replied”Good, meet us at K-Star club. We’d be there soon.”
Well it’s like there’s something I could do, the guy has clearly fallen in love with June’s best friend when I asked him to work.
I don’t think I have the right to fire him, I’m also taking advantage of sweet June here so.
Is taken advantage the words?
Aghh no, that’s not it. She’s mine right from the beginning.
Her uncle caused this, he made me lose one third of my wealth. That’s like billions dollars.
One thing you should know about me is that I don’t joke with my money.
I suffered before I got to where I am today. Ryder is a sick bastard, he craves Money like drugs.
We were once friends, I never knew he was trying to get his own gain. In the end, he turned me into the fool.
He turned me into the laughing stock and went into hiding. But he can’t hide for long.
I know he’s in town, he got here the moment he saw the news Melissa published.
Yeah, I also know about Melissa, I’m no fool, even a boy in Kindergarten will guess who published those. I’m just not in the mood to face her yet.
Doesn’t mean I’m letting her go. No, actually I’m giving her a feeling of success.
Let her feel that like she got me before I strike or better still, I’m waiting for her next move.
My thoughts were interrupted by a light clang of heels. I turned and holy shit!!

Charles and I were both entangled in the sheet enjoying our evening when we got interrupted by Charles phone.

We drove off to the club, I was surprised that June wasn’t here yet.”Hold on..is she coming with Master K?” I asked Charles.
He nodded and growled at a guy coming towards me, then dragged me to him.

After gazing at myself for a long time in the mirror, I decided to go down stairs. I couldn’t hide here anymore.
Aghh I felt so uncomfortable, I can’t remember the last time I wore something which exposed my body.
He turned the moment he heard my footsteps.
And oh shit!
His eyes practically ate me raw. My skin heated the longer he looked.
I went closer to him and stop at his front feeling shy. In a way, I liked the look in his eyes.
Butterflies danced in my tummy.
It made me feel feminine and weird down there. The silence became deafening, I shifted on my feet”Um..are you going to keep staring? I’m done”

He suddenly jerked me to him and crashed his l-ips down on mine.
I gasp, placed my hands on his well built chest to get my balance..
