🌹 Chapter six: challenge down 🌹

🌹 Rosita’s standpoint 🌹

There I was looking for my younger sister in the big school. Students walked here and there, most looking or glancing at me when I pass. I stopped walking and stood with hands akimbo, a frown on my face.

“Would you like me to activate the tracker you have on her?” Romi suggested. I rolled my eyes and looked up as if she was a spirit I could glare at.

“Why didn’t you just suggest that from the first place? Instead of making me bother so much?”

“What fun would that be?” She sniggered. I rolled my eyes again… Great, the rolling eyes system have been activated because of that twat.

“Why didn’t you warn me about him? You should have told me that I might or will encounter him here,” I said chidingly.

“How was I suppose to know?” She asked with a normal voice, her mischievous voice.

“You knew! How could you, Romi? How could do this to me? I thought we were best friends? I thought we were sisters?” I cried.

“You didn’t ask me to make any report, you just said to register you and I did. If you had ask, maybe I would have told you and yes, we are sister best friends. I knew telling you would make you change your mind and that would have been bad for Sakura.” She defended. Big Lie.

“I would have cancelled my order and gotten her into another school that won’t torment her,” I snapped, “don’t lie to me, Romi, you did it on purpose.”

“Okay, I did, beat me.” I gro-ned with frustration.

“Romi, you are unbelievable. I knew I shouldn’t have let Tenny borrow you for two weeks, he has infected you with his madness.”

“The true definitely of madness is the white haired girl standing in the middle of the school compound talking and yelling at herself,” oh she so smirked, I could feel it buzzing in my ear. I looked around and realised everyone was looking at me. “Miss, Sakura is at the school fountain. Turn left, walk straight and then turn right, you’ll find it.” She said with a titter.

“One of this days, I’ll kill you,” I murmured. I spun on the tip of my shoe and began walking to her direction. My mind went back to my new assignment. Who would have thought that I would end up with my greatest enemy? Doing a project together. Life is indeed strange or maybe fate is trying to tell me that it is my destiny to eliminate him.

What other reason would we meet again? I’d have to kill him to fulfill my destiny after I’m done with what matters.

Or you can fall in love with him? Ever heard of that?

Ah, the little voice in my head, where have you been? It’s been a while.

“Really, Rosita? You are going crazy,” I said to myself. I finally found the fountain and found Sakura sitting on the ground with back rested on the fountain. I smiled and skipped to her, taking careful steps so I won’t break the heels of my shoes or the heels on my legs.

“Sakura,” I called with a tight smile. She raised her head from her book. I halted when I saw her red puffy eyes. “You have been crying,” I stated as a matter-of-fact.

“Is it that obvious?” She asked sadly.

“Oh, no, it’s not at all. Your eyes aren’t red and puffy so it isn’t obvious,” I said sarcastically as I climbed onto the fountain. “Wanna tell me what’s wrong? Is this about the idol thing? What did they do to you?”

“Not they, him, Isaac,”

“Who? The blonde boy with red eyes and big nose?”

She giggled. “No, Cedric. His real hair is black but he likes blonde. And he doesn’t have red eyes nor big nose,”

I snorted at her words. “Are you trying to correct me? Blonde, big nose, red eyes, case close. So which one then? The one who dyed his hair banana yellow? Or the one with red hair?”

“The yellow one is Darra and the red is Alvin, but no, not them. The dark haired with grey eyes,” she looked at me. I shrugged.

“In case you don’t remember, most of them have dark hair. Who?” I knew who it was, Sensei called him earlier. Just doing it to lighten her mood.

“The one who sat behind the yellow head,”

“Ohhhh, that idiot. What did he do to you?”

“We used to be friends, I saved his life, tutor him, he taught me how to sing and know mathematics, then we became friends, then lovers and then he broke my heart after he took my V-rginity.”

“Ouch, that’s rough, sis. Is that why you hate them all? Because of one person?”

Hypocrite, you now hate Asia because of one person.

Shut up, voice.

“Not just what he did. The rich just look down on us because we are poor. Is it a crime to not have enough money?” She said shakily.

“Not really,” I crossed my leg and leaned my weight back to my hands. I stared at the sky with a smile as the sun reflected on my face. “It has been like that from the beginning of time, and it is not about to change anytime soon. The only thing you can do is live the best way you can and become rich as well. Then when you get there, you become one of the wealthy people with a heart.”

“And you? Weren’t you c*cky when you had money?” I closed my eyes, enjoying the sun on my face.

“I never had any chance to know. All my life I have been training, learning, studying, always locked up. I didn’t even have any friends until I was twelve when father introduce me to his associate’s children. They are my only friends, along with Romi but that didn’t mean I still went out. I’ve never had the mind to give to charity or to the poor because all my mind think about, all I do is what I am destined to be. That has been my life routine. This, this is the first break… Somewhat break I’m getting.” I lowered my head and opened my eyes. My Blossom was confuse.

“Don’t stress it, but what you just have to know is that I hold nothing against the less privileged, neither do I have anything to do with them because they have never crossed my mind. Coming to Japan, this is the first time I’m associating with lower and high people.”

“Wow, what exactly do you do?” She gushed.

“I eliminate my enemies,” I said with a wink. She started laughing. “To tell you the honest truth, I’m a graduate,” her laugh turned to a gasp.

“You already have a degree? Then what are you doing here in a school of art?”

“Learning to be normal,” I shrugged. I was opening up to her. I had this strong believe that no matter what I tell her, she would never tell anyone else. So I knew I could tell her a few things.

“Oh, you must be very intelligent then,” she gushed.

“Of course I am. But nobody needs to know that,” I winked at her again. Sakura giggled and blush. “So, about your project?”

“I can’t fail so I’m going to do it, whether I like it or not.” She sighed.

“Do you want to change school? I can get you…”

“No. I’m not abandoning my life because of one person. I’m almost done anyways,” she looked up at me with twinkling eyes. “Who did you get?”

I gro-ned. “Zedetwatass Zedd*ck and Odin-sama,” she burst into laughter, as if she was waiting to hear it the wh0le time.

“Zedetwatass Zedd*ck?” She laughed. “You didn’t just name him that,”

“I’ve always called him that,” I said way too loudly. “I can’t believe I get to work with him, again! This is sign from the heavens that we are meant to eliminate each other or rather, he is meant to die by my hands…”

“Or fall head over heels with you and you him,” I took off my shoe to hit her. She squealed and stood up, then ran away a little.

“Come back here let me crack that your skull,”

“But she’s right,” Romi Devil added.

“Shut up, Romi,”

“Neesan,” Sakura called still laughing. She placed her palms on her mouth and smooched it. I scre-med and threw the shoe. I narrowly missed. Either I didn’t aim so I won’t hurt her, or she’s a very good dodger. She continued to laugh, winking suggestively at me.

“Put a I to your S, mix it up like an egg and what do we got? Iskura!” I cheered like a cheerleader. She gasped and then frowned.

“Not funny,”

“Oh, so you know,” I scoffed. She smirked and raised a brow.

“Odin-sama? Really?” I rolled my eyes. She fanned her face with her hands. “Oh my, my big sister is so beautiful she has brought two men home, I’m so proud.” I bent down to remove my other shoe. She picked the other one and ran away with it.

“Sakura, come back here with that!” I shouted. I held my shoe in my hand and chased her. God! Sakura can run! I thought I was fast but I didn’t know I was dealing with a cheetah. Ah, dad lied that my speed came from him, obviously mom.

I chased her until I collapsed in the gym, completely breathlessly while she was laughing and clapping with joy. That was the happiest Sakura had ever been since I’d known her.

“Witch… H…h…h…how… Are you still… still… Oh my God! I’m having a heart attack, call 911… Oh, this is Japan. Do Japan use 911… Eff that, I’m having a heart attack!”

I heard more than seven laugh. Sakura stopped laughing and looked at who, just like I did. That was when I notice there were twelve girls in the gym, obviously dancing before we ran in. Sakura’s happiness died with immediate effect.

“You girls are funny,” the blonde one with blue eyes said still laughing. I recognise two from the cafΓ©. The blonde one wasn’t just Japanese, probably mixed.

“Oh… Neesan, let’s go,” Sakura said plainly.

“Wait,” blonde said sharply, “don’t you want to sit for a while? I made cupcakes and lemonade,”

“Why are you always showing her pity? What’s your deal, Meena?” One of the girls said irritably. Pale black hair, light brown eyes, three horns on her head and a little freckle on her right cheek.

“What I do is none of your business, Sora, I’ve always told you that.” Meena replied harshly. The Sora scoffed and turned her gaze to me.

“You, you are the one who was partnered up with My Odin and Zed, right?” I didn’t reply her. “I was meaning to find you, but thank God you are here. Better stay clear off Odin, he is my boyfriend and Zed isn’t your class so…”

“Ex, he is your ex,” another girl cut in. “He dumped you, remember?” The girls laughed. Sora rolled her eyes with a scoff.

“We are on a break, not forever. So, you better stay away from my boyfriend and Zed or I’m going to make this school a living hell for you. Better turn down the wh0le thing and stay clear of I’m going to make due of my threat, don’t let me warn you again. And as for you,” she averted her eyes to Sakura who was now shivering with fear. Her eyes held intimidation, the kind of eyes many would be scared of. “Don’t think that because you haven’t been punished for two days now that you are free, or even if this goody two shoes over here would change the fact that you are the school’s number four thing. I’m watching you, Sack, better watch your back.”

“What a bitch,” Romi said. I couldn’t agree more. “Give her the eyes, now!” I looked at Sakura who was shivering as she cried. My baby’s happiness had been ruined, but I wasn’t going to use anything yet.

“Come on girls, let’s leave first,” she flipped her short ponytail and catwalk to the door. Three girls carried their bags and hers and followed behind her. I waited until she was at the door before I spoke, standing up to my feet, c*cking my hΒ‘ps and smirking devilishly.

“Sora,” she turned to look at who called her. “Have you ever encounter a real devil?”

“What?” She asked with an expression that said she thinks I’m a fool.

“No, you have never. So unless you want to encounter one,” I tilt my head to the side, giving her my first level look, “don’t dare me, don’t test me to see what I can do because you won’t like it. Try whatever you like with me, I don’t care. But, I repeat, but, if anything happens to my sister ever again, I will make you know how it feels to face public humiliation.”

I saw her gulp before covering up with a defiant look. “What is this one blabbing about?” Her voice had an unnoticeable shakiness and her eyes were struggling to remain on mine. Perfect. “Just stay away from Odin…”

“Make me,” I challenged, “I will like to see you try, Sora.” I called her name low, almost like a growl for more effect. She scoffed, spun around and walked out with her trembling puppets. I smiled with satisfaction and turned to look at Sakura. Four girls surrounded her and were trying to soothe her.

“Wow, that was awesome. I haven’t seen anyone else that can ruffle her up like that, other than Yuki.” Meena said in bewilderment.

“What can I say? I’m talented,” I said with a playful smugness. She laughed.

“What am I expecting from Zedetwatass… Sorry, I mean Zedekiah’s new enemy,” we both looked at each other before we started laughing.

“Nice to meet you, Meena, I’m Rosita.”

“Caught up on that,” she took my hand and shook it. “Seriously girl, you made my day. You and that guy are sworn enemies, huh? Past issues?” I nodded. “Cool. Want some cupcakes and lemonade? I made it myself.” I looked at her friend behind her who was giving me signs to reject the offer if I love my life.

“Erm… No, I’m good.”

“No, I insist,” she smiled. That smile, who can say no to that?

“Alright,”

“Ah, she’s a goner!” The girl behind exclaimed and covered it with a nervous laugh. I walked to Sakura first and hugged her.

“Don’t worry, I will take care of you. Now, let’s eat cupcakes.”

We tasted the cupcakes, it was delicious. I was wondering what the girl whose name was Hime was worrying about. I’m not a fabulous cook since the kitchen was never part of my training, but Terry’s and Tenny’s mother made sure she teach me all I could learn as the chef she was. Mom was starting to teach me how to prepare Japanese food and bake too. The point is I might not eat much, but I appreciate sweet things.

Well, I tasted the lemonade and understood what Hime was warning me about. Let me just say when life gives you sweet lemons, keep it the hell away from Meena!

πŸ₯€ Sora’s standpoint πŸ₯€

I threw myself on my bed, still fuming with anger. That girl, that person, that Rosita. She had the nerves to speak to me like that. I knew her kind, they are always bold at first, trying to prove they can overthrow me.

“That girl is scary, I swear,” Rita said as she took off her sandals. “Did you see the way she tilt her head and hear the way she called your name?”

“Yeah, Sally is still shaken by it.” Mimi, my friend and teammate said with a quiver in her voice.

“I know her kind, the bold one who would try to take over but as usual, I’ll clip her wings like I clipped the others. That person, she has no power, nothing compare to me. I am Sora, Queen of Gempire and until I leave that school, I will continue to be queen.” I said confidently.

“So, you weren’t scared by what she did and said?” Rita, my best friend asked.

“No, not one bit.” I lied. I was startled alright.

“Oh, Sora-sama, you are so cool. You are the only one who can handle everything,” Mimi said with admiration. I smiled at her.

“That’s why I’m queen. I’ll let her enjoy it first, let her dwell in her new pride that she stood up to me before I show her why I am the queen of Gempire.”

“But, Sora, don’t you think you should first find out who she is? Before you try anything?” Rita asked reasonably. I scoffed.

“Who else will she be? Whatever she is, it doesn’t matter because no one can surpass me.” I said pompously.

“Her uniform is different and the school is letting it. Her parents must have a lot of power to be able to do that. Let me not forget to mention she knows Zedekiah, even if they are enemies. And did you hear the language they were speaking? Sounds very hΓ¦rd and from a big country. Her English is also clean, from the small I’ve heard.” Rita placed the point down. She was right, I knew she was right.

“Fine, I’ll find out who she is first and see.”

“Good.” She can be the president daughter for all I care, it wouldn’t change a thing.
