I became so astonished and dumbfounded about Veronica being kidnapped,we thought were dreaming until Elisa made it clear to us again.

Grandma got heart attack on hearing the news,we rushed and took her to her room,gave her so medications which help her to sleep.

“We have to call the cops immediately”
She cried out.

We realized that it was actually not a dream but reality.

“Elisa did you see who they were?
Aunt Anne asked in tears.

“No Aunt,the guy’s face was masked”
She cried out.

“Who could have kidnapped her? What is the kidnappers motives?
Uncle Rafael asked in tears.

I walked to Elisa and asked her in tears,
“Elisa tell me the truth did Vero have any enemy at the dancing school? Did someone threaten to deal with her?

“The only enemy Vero have is Sophia”
She cried.

“Who is Sophia and why is she her enemy?
Uncle Rafael asked.

“Sophia is ex girlfriend to Antionia”

“Then what is it got to do with Veronica?
Aunt Anne asked.

“Sophia blamed her breakup to Vero and accused her of snatching her boyfriend away from her”
She explained in tears.

“Oh my God! My daughter is being kidnapped all because of boyfriend”
Aunt Anne cried out.

“We need to go to the police station and report the case to them”
Uncle Rafael suggested.

“No Dad we can’t go right away,you know how the cops are,we have to wait for twenty four hours before they were confirm someone missing”
Dylan suggested.

“So we should sit down and allow my daughter to die in the hands of the kidnappers”
Aunt Anne cried out.

“Aunt nothing will happen to Veroinca maybe the kidnapper motives is not to kill her it could be something else,let’s pray and ask for God to keep her safe”
I said.

Silent were everywhere,hearts was filled with pains and our eyes filled with tears,Aunt Anne went to the v-rg-n Mary status on the candle and pray for Veroinca’s life.

Our eyes fixed at the telephone as we keep on waiting to receive a call of the kidnappers.

At the moment Elisa called and informed me about Vero being kidnapped,my heart was burning with so much anger because I knew who the kidnapper is.

“I gonna kill that daughter of a bitch!
I shouted with so much anger,collected my car key and drove to Sophia’ s house.

“Sophia come out here and face me!

“You daughter of a bitch come out here right now!

“You little witch come out here and tell me where you keep Vero!
I shouted with so much anger in me.

She came out,
“Why are you shouting and calling me all kinds of names?
She shouted.

I rushed her and grabbed her hands squeezing them.

“Where did you keep Vero tell me right now before I break this your hands into two?
I shouted angrily.

“Get your hands off me! I don’t know what you are talking about?
She shouted struggling to removed my hands.

The anger in me speed up as I hooked her on the neck trying to strangled her.

“Did it look am joking to you or what? Where did you keep Vero,Tell me right now before I strangled you to death”
I shouted angrily.

“Get your hands off me I don’t know where Veroinca is”
She shouted.

I started strangling her as she was choking and pleading to let go of her.

“Antioina I did not kidnap Veronica,I did not do it,please believe me”
She pleaded and left go of her.

“Sophia if I find out that you are behind this,mark my word you will rot in jail”
I shouted angrily.

I drove to Vero’s house,I knocked and they opened the door,I went in,side as they all looked at me strange with a sad faces.

“Who are you?
The father asked.

“Am Antionia!

“So it is because of you my daughter was kidnapped If anything happen to my child you won’t go free”
The mother shouted.

“Ma nothing will happen to her,I won’t allow that trust me I will safely bring her home”
I assured them.

“Have the kidnapper called?
I asked.

“We have not gotten a call from them yet”
Dylan answered.

“Okay,let wait for a little longer they will soon come”
I said.

“Let me bring lemon tea for everyone it will help to calm us down”
Reina said and went to bring the tea.

Vero has already told me about their family and even showed me their pictures that’s why I was able to identify them.

😈CARLOS😈
I got dressed when the kidnappers called to informed to me they have Reina,I rushed down to the hideout(Abandoned park)

When i got there,I met one of the guy outside the building smoking.

“Where is she?
I asked.

“She is in,side”

I went in,side and to my greatest surprise it was not Reina rather it was her cousin Veroinca.

“Isaac come outside”
I said,Isaac is my very good friend.

“What is this? Is not the girl I asked you to capture,she is Veroinca Reina’s sister.
I shouted.

“But you did not described her very well to me”
He said.

“What did you mean? Did I have to describe Reina to you when you have seen her before?
I shouted.

“Bro you know am not too familiar with her face”

“I hate this kind mistake,Is Reina I want to torture and not Veroinca”
I shouted brought out cigar from my pocket lightened it and started smoking.

“Bro it does not matter,She is still Reina’s sister besides the family insulted and humiliated you,you can still take your revenge by torturing her and also get something out of it”
He said.

I thought about what he said for a while and smiled,
“I never knew you got a brain like this”

He sounded with smiles.

“We have to give her damn parents a call but first go in,side and torture her very well”
I said.

They brought me to this their hideout very far away from the town,tied my hands and legs together with the chair I was sitting on,I can’t see their faces because they blindfolded me.

I don’t know the reason why they kidnapped me if is is to kill me or ask for a ransom, I know that Sophia is behind it all because she is the only enemy I have.

They have been torturing me,given me beating upon beating,I cried and pleaded for them to let me go but all to no avail.

“Please stop beating me! What have I done to deserve this beating?
I cried out.

“Will you keep quite there!
This deep voice shouted and gave me another punch,giving me punches as if am a punching bag.

“We have to call her damn parents right now”
Another deep voice shouted.

Now I know the reason why I was kidnapped to ask for ransom but who could have behind this? I know it won’t be Sophia because she will not kidnapped me and ask for ransom she will make sure she torture me very well and ask me to stay away from Antionia.

We have been restless for an hour staring at the telephone praying and hoping for the kidnappers to call us within a few minutes a call came in,we all stood up as Uncle Rafael rushed and picked the call put it on loudspeaker.

📞 Mr Rafael Pons we have your daughter in our custody,we need a ransom of 1.5 Million Peso”
The shouted.

“1.5 Million Peso!
We shouted in shocked because we don’t have that kind of money.

📞 1.5 Million Peso! Where an earth will I get that kind of money?
Uncle Rafael asked.

📞 Don’t ask me that damn question,if you love your daughter and you want her to be alive get me that money”
He shouted.

📞 Please the ransom is too much,I can’t you discount it?

He shouted angrily.

We cried as we heard the punches they were giving on her.

She cried out.

Uncle Rafael said in tears.

📞 If you want your daughter to be alive get me the money within two hours and one more thing don’t you ever involve the cops,if you do consider your daughter dead,I will send you the location of where your son will bring the money,I repeat don’t involve the cops if you love your daughter”
He shouted and hanged up the call.

“What are we going to now? Where are we going to get that kind of money just in two hours?
Aunt Anne cried out.

“I don’t know what to do,who will be able to lend me that kind of money?
Uncle Rafael asked in tears.

“Please let’s calm down and think how to raise the money”
I said in tears.

“I think we have to involve the cops on this”
Dylan said.

“Involve what? Did you want them to kill your sister?
Aunt Anne shouted in tears.

“Where are we going to get the 1.5 Million Peso within two hours? That’s a huge amount of money Dad so it better we involve the cops”
Dylan said.

“We are not going to involve the cops,We will bring Vero back to us alive and within that hour they want”
Antionia said in tears.

Uncle Rafael asked.

He said and we breathed in relive.

“Let me hurry now and bring the money”
He and rushed out.

As we were waiting for Antionia to bring the money,someone started shouting Uncle Rafael’ s name from outside,we ran out to see who it could be.

“Uncle Rafael you have to go to your shop immediately and recover all your things,they are demolishing the shops”
The young guy said breathing so fast.

“What did you mean they are demolishing the shops now?
Uncle Rafael asked confusingly even us we became so confused too because the quit notice they got today said they should vacate within a week.

“Within thirty minutes you left the shop,the Governor’s workers came and said they need to demolish the shops right away,please you have to go and recover all your things before they will get to your shop”
He said and ran out.

“Please you have to go before the worst will happen,Dylan go with your father”
Aunt Anne said.

“What of the kidnappers?
Uncle Rafael asked.

“Don’t worry Uncle, We will handle it”
I said.

“Let me go with them and help out too”
Elisa said.

They ran out immediately and we went back in,side,Grandma is still sleeping,she will wake up in three hours or there about because of the pill will gave her.

“Why is this happening to us?
Aunt Anne cried out.

“Aunt is okay,all this are trial and we are going to overcome it all”
I consoled her.

My family are going through a lot at the same time,because we the neighbouring people are poor and got no one to stand and speak for us that’s why the Governor is treating us like a trash,destroying our live of living but he should not worry one day we will see our mouth speak that will stand and bring justice to us.

Twenty minutes later,Antioina arrived with the money,
“I have the money here,Where is Uncle Rafael,Dylan and Elisa?

“They are demolishing the shops so they went to bring back the materials there”
I said.

“Have the kidnappers called again and send the location?

“Not yet,we are waiting”
I said.

Few minutes later,Uncle Rafael,Dylan and Elisa came in weeping bitterly.

“What happen?
We asked.

“We have lost everything! All the things we laboured for years are all gone,we didn’t recover anything not even a pin,by the time we got there they have already demolished the shop”
Uncle Rafael cried out and Aunt Anne fainted.

“Aunt! Aunt! Mom!
We cried out.

“Hurry get me water!
Antionia shouted.

Elisa rushed and brought the water,He sprinkled it on her face severally until she blinks her eyes.

“My love tell me is not true,tell me is all a dream”
She cried out.

“My love is all true,all our hærdsh¡p has gone in vain”
He cried.

“Why is this happening to us? What have we done to deserve this?
She wept so bitterly.

The kidnappers call came in,Uncle Rafael picked it and put it on loudspeaker.

He shouted.

He shouted.

📞 Check your phone I have send you the location, your son should bring the money and remember no cops unless you want to see the corpse of your daughter”

“The location is the abodaned park down the mountain hill”
He said.

“That’s a far place!
We shouted.

“The message also say you have to be there within an hour”

“An hour to be there,I can see that the kidnappers are senseless,how can someone get there within an hour”
Dylan shouted.

“Dylan you have to hurry up now,take the car and also my phone in case they want to contact you,be very careful okay”
Uncle Rafael said.

“We will be praying to the v-rg-n Mary to keep you two alive”
Aunt Anne said.

We hugged him so tight and wished him good luck.

I left the house,got into the car and drive very fast to the location,the abandoned park at the mountain hill is six hundred kilometer away from house.

I was driving and speed up so fast just to get there on time,one hour ten minutes I got there,I came down from the car with the money,the place looks so scary and lonely,I looked around to see if I will see anybody but I find nor.

I gave them a call,
📞 Hello am here”

📞 You are late”
The caller said.

📞 It only ten minutes late beside how will you expect me to drive down here within an hour?
I questioned him.

📞 Did you have the money there with you and I hope you didn’t involve the cops?

📞 I have the money and no cops”

📞 Drop it there”

📞 Drop it! What of my sister?

📞 Look straight you will see your sister”
He said and end up the call.

I looked straight and saw my sister tied on the swing set,I dropped the money and ran to meet her.

“Dylan!
She called me with a weak voice.

“Yes,am here my love”
I said as I untied her,her body is filled of bruises,her face and eyes swallowed up,they really tortured my sister unrecognized.

I held her hand as walked slowly,as we were coming out they shot Veronica.

“No ooooo!
I cried out.
