We became so astonished with our mouths wide opened as Aunt Anne ushered her guests in,she introduced her guests to Granny.

“Meet my mother in law,Mrs Pons the lady of the house”
she introduced as we stared at them.

They said with smiles.

“You all are welcome!
she said without any atom of smiles in her face.

“That’s my darling husband there”
She said and pointed at Uncle’s Rafael direction.

Aunt Anne winked at him to come and say hey to the guests,he went to them and said,
“You all are welcome!

She introduced Vero and Dylan to them,they greeted them without smiling.

Nobody seem to be happy about this marriage’s stuffs.

“Meet Reina,your daughter in law and wife to be”
She introduced me to them.

“Good evening Sir! Good evening Ma!
I greeted them with a smiles that didn’t came from my heart.

“Wow! you look so beautiful!
She said to me with smiles.

“Thank Ma!
I replied with a fake smile.

“Son What will you say about this beauty standing front of us?
He asked.

He held my hand and said,
“Dad I must confess an angel just appeared to me right now,She is indeed an epitome of beauty,Am Carlos”

“I think the introduction is complete,let move to the dinning table before the food gets cold”
Aunt Anne said.

They moved to the dinning sat down with smiles written all over their faces waiting for the food to be serve.

I was at the kitchen and Aunt Anne approached to me,
“Reina what are you doing? the dishes is not complete,what of our guests food?
She asked starring around the kitchen.

“Aunt I never knew we will be having a guest so I did not add them to the list,I only cooked for the family”
I said.

“That’s not a problem! You are very talented when it comes to cooking so you can fix up something for them within some minutes I know you can do that”
she said.

“Okay Aunt!

“Don’t keep our guests waiting okay,in case you need help call Vero or Dylan to assist you”

“I don’t need anybody assistance,I can handle it”

“I can’t tell you to make something delicious when I already know your capacity in cooking”
She said with smiles and leave the kitchen.

“I hate this kind of thing! What will I prepare less than ten minutes?
I sighed and thought.

“Yeah! now I know what to cook,Burritos! A simple meal that can only take up to ten minutes”
I shouted and brought out the ingredients for it.

Few minutes later,Aunt Anne came back to the kitchen.

“Reina is the food almost ready?
She asked.

“Yes Aunt Anne,it will soon dished it out within some minutes”

She looked at the pot that’s on fire and asked,
“Burritos right?

“Yes Aunt”

“Wow! it smells so good our guests gonna love it”
She sounded with smiles.

I smiled as I turned the Burritos with the cooking spoon.

“Let me serve them with the snacks first once you are done,dish it out okay”

“Okay Aunt!
She took the snacks to them.

A minute later I was done with the food,I took it to the dinning and dished it to them.

“This is Burritos, Trust me you all we love it”
Aunt Anne said to them with smiles.

I sat down beside the so called Carlos,I didn’t wanted to sit beside him but since the chair is the only one left for me so there’s nothing I can do.

“Wow! It taste so delicious!
Mrs Moses complimented.

“You can say that again,more delicious”
Mr Moses complimented with smiles.

Aunt Anne smiled and said,
“Reina prepared it”

“Really! You are just a great cook”
She said to me with smiles.

“Thank you Ma!

“Reina is very talented in cooking”
Aunt Anne said.

“That’s awesome,you will be a great chef”
Mr Moses said.

I smiled without uttering any word,they ate devouring the food like a hungry lions.

We stared at them as they were rushing their food like some people who have not eaten such food before.

Silent everywhere,Grandma cleared her throat and broke the silent with question.

“Young man what are your interest In getting marry to my granddaughter when you have not seen her before?
She asked.

He looked at his parents then to Grandma and smiled,
“Grandma…..

“Grandma Lolita!
She reminded him.

“Grandma Lolita I must tell you the truth when I saw Reina your granddaughter’s picture for the first time something in me tells me she is the right woman for me,the one I have been waiting for so long that’s why I take this chance and the more reason why I don’t want this beautiful damsel to pass me by”

We got to the toilet I opened the door,

I said using him towel and soap.

He soaked the towel in,side the soap water and started cleaning off the stains,I stood there staring at him.

I don’t know why Aunt want me to get marry for all means as if all my age has gotten marrird and it remain only me in this world.

Even if she want to get a husband for me why must it be this one?

I don’t like him at all,I know it’s my first time of seeing him and he has not done anything that will make me to hate but my heart did not accept him and something in me tells me he is not good person.

He said and handled the towel to me.

I hanged the towel and about to use the door he hold my hand and I turned back.

Some minutes later,They came down.

Mr Moses and his wife stood up,

She shouted.

“I did Mom but I never knew she will go ahead and bring them that’s why I was so surprised when I saw them”

“She have to face me this time”
She shouted and released her hands from his ears,his ears has already turned red.

Aunt Anne came in,side and Grandma ordered her to come.

“Mother I ready know what you are going to say but i don’t want you to take that i went against your decision concerning this marriage issue,the reason why I brought them is for us to get to know them and see if Reina’s life will be save in their hands and also for Reina and Carlos to get to know each other”
She said.

“But you should have in from me that they will be coming then i will bear it in mind I will be expecting them then bringing them unexpectedly”

“Am Sorry Mom,Trust me mother I know what am doing okay,I can’t force Reina into marriage without making a proper observation about them,we have to give them time to get to know each other once we find any wrongs in them we won’t proceed with the marriage but if there’s none that means they are perfect for her”

“I will be in my room right now am so tired I need to rest”
Uncle Rafael said and went up to his room.

Done eating,I carried the plates along side with Vero to the kitchen.

I said and start washing the dishes.

Around five o’clock in the evening we arrived at our house,I came down from the car and rushed to see mom as Diego and the driver bring in the luggages.

“Mom! Mom!
I called out.

She came out from the kitchen,I was so surprised to seen her because when we spoken on the phone she sounded like someone that was sick and dying, that’s the more reason why I rushed down to see her.

She said feeling so excited and hugged me.

“Mom! I thought you told me to come down immediately that you are sick then what happen?
I asked being confused.

“Mom you know I hate that! Did you know the high tension I was when you told me you are sick,I left everything I was doing at L.A(Los Angeles)and came down here only to found out that it was all a trick”

Diego came in,side and greeted mom with a hug.

I shouted.

Mom asked.

“Mom I need a delicious pozole de polo Guajolote(turkey stew) with pasta and as for Diego you know how to please me”
I said with smiles.

He rolled his eyes balls and said,
“I don’t know what you want”

I whispered to him,
“You know me I like hot babe so you have to arrange one for me”

He shooked his head and whispered,

“Son your pozole de polo Guajolote(turkey stew) with pasta will soon be ready so go freshen up,let me check what’s going on at the kitchen”
