That statement of getting her a husband shocked everywhere,we stared at her without touching our food.

“Aunty Anne What did you mean by getting me a husband?
I asked confusingly.

“Because you are of age and I made a promise to your mother to marry you off to a good family and the time is now”
She said.

“Anne did you thought about all this before coming up this ridiculous idea of finding a husband to Reina”
Grandma shouted.

“Mother I have thought about it several times and I know this the right time for us to choose a husband for her beside Reina here is of age to settle down and I have already found a suitable match for her from a respectable home with a good background”
She said being so serious.

Vero laughed,
“Mom this is unbelievable! We are now in the 20th century and no longer back then when parents get husband for their daughters”
She sounded in a funny way which made everyone to burst out in laughter.

“Is not funny at all! Am getting Reina married that’s the promise i made to her mother and I must fulfill that promise”
She shouted.

“Anne i don’t like what you are saying at all,have you ask Reina what she want,if marriage is what she need right now”
Uncle Rafael shouted.

“Aunt Anne I don’t want to marry now,marriage is not in my mind right now i need to achieve my dreams of becoming a chef and opening my own restaurant that’s what I need”

She went to her and said,

“What is even wrong with mother? How can she suggest such thing?
Vero scoffed and walked out.

I looked at my uncle waiting for him to say something to me concerning that awful decision but he didn’t say anything maybe he supported his wife or so.

“See Reina mother don’t know what she said maybe she waked up in the wrong side of the bed so don’t take what she said so serious okay,nobody will force you to marry when you are not ready for it okay”
Dylan said and hugged me.

I went over to Grandma with a sad face,
“Grandma Lolita I don’t want to marry now,marriage is not in my mind now,I need to achieve my dreams first before talking about marriage please help me to talk to Aunt Anne”

She said and tapped the couch for me to sit.

I cleared the plates,I got five order to deliver this morning, I got no time to waste,time is no longer on my side.

An hour later,I was done with the dishes,I packaged them and took my bath.

“Grandma Lolita am ready to go and deliver the dishes to my customers”
I said to her but it seem she did not hear me because all her attention was on her phone,she is probably chatting on Facebook because that’s what can take all her attention away,I went closed to her and said.

“I see! Granny you are chatting on Facebook no wonder you did not hear me”
I sounded with smiles.

She said with smiles.

I asked with smiles.

She laughed and said,

“Granny I will be going now my customers are waiting for their food and don’t smile too much while chatting with my grandpa in law to avoid wrinkles in this your beautiful face”
I said as I grab the bag to leave.

She laughed loudly and said,

I shouted and used the door.

I put the bag on my bicycle basket and ride to do the delivery.

I stoped my bicycle and greeted Mr Pabola one of our neighbours.
“Good morning Mr Pabola!

“Morning beautiful Reina! Ready to do your food delivery?
He asked with smiles.

“Yes Mr Pabola”
I replied with smiles.

“Reina I love that menudo(pork stew) with rice you got for me yesterday for lunch,I will like to have it again for lunch”
He said.

“Okay Mr Pabola! I will be at your service by noon”
I said with smiles.

“Thank you! I will be waiting for it,Go well okay”

I said with smiles and made my way out as he continued reading his news papers,Mr Pabola is very currents when it comes to news and things that are happening in this our country,he don’t miss the morning newspaper for any thing.

We lived in the rural areas in Mexico and a neighbouring area too ,I was greeting people the old and the young especially the old people I love associating with them and helping them out.

I got to my destination and stoped my bicycle,I grab the package for Mrs Paula”

I rang the door bell,
“Who is there? hold on am coming!
She said with her old crack voice.

I greeted her with smiles at the moment she opened the door.

She replied back with smiles.

I asked as I stared at the walking stick she was supporting herself with.

I said with smiles and gave it to her.

She called off her maid.

She brought the purse without waiting any time,

She handled her the food.

She gave me some money.

I hugged her.

She said as I ride out to delivery the other food.

I delivered five dishes with different recipes brought the fruits for Granny before going home.

I lied on my bed staring at Matilda’s picture on my system,
“She look so beautiful,extremely beautiful,I can’t take my head,my mind off her right from the first day I bumped Into her at the cafeteria”

We just arrived at Mexico,the driver came to picked us from the airport.

My phone has been ringing,it has ranged for almost ten times and the caller is Nora,one of my bitch.

“Aren’t you gonna pick her call maybe she want to tell you something important”
Diego said as her call came in again.

This time I picked and shouted at her,
📞 What is it Nora? Why did you want to kill my phone battery with your numerous calls?

She said.

I laughed and sounded.

In the evening time,Dylan was helping me with to set the dinning table for dinner.

We took the food to the dinning table,Uncle Rafael came back from work.

“It was stressful but thank God I made a great profits today”

He said.

As uncle Rafael was about to go up to his room,Aunt Anne came in,side with a guest,We stood still as we stared at them coming in one after the other.

Aunt Anne said.
