“Aaaaaaaaaaarrrgh”. I scre-med loudly shaking vigorously as I rose from my sleep.

I woke up with a pounding headache and sweat streaming down my forehead.

What kind of dream is this? I asked myself as I was really scared. I hærdly dream it’s just once in a while but I don’t know why I had this nightmare.

I didn’t even know when I ran out of my crying with my heart pounding faster.

I ran into my Nanny and some maids, I guess they heard my scre-m.

What’s wrong, we heard you scre-m.. They asked but I didn’t even know when I ran into Nanny’s arm.

She swept me off my feet and car-ssed my back but I couldn’t help but cry the more as fear gripped me.

Tell me what happened, why are you crying and why did you scre-m like that? She asked as she placed me gently on the bed in her room.

I need water was the only thing I said and it was given to me almost immediately, I gulped down the wh0le content and laid back.

“Tell me what you saw” Nanny said again but I refused to talk all I could think of was who the person was as I couldn’t see her face clearly but I know it’s a feminine figure and why would she want to kill me.

You all should go back to bed it seems she’s not in the mood to talk, we’ll see in the morning, thanks for paying attention to her… She said to other workers and they left the room

Don’t worry, you can spend the rest of the night in my room, we’ll sort it out in the morning. She said to me and I nodded.

She covered me with the duvet and sat on the stood beside the bed staring at me patted me so I’d sleep easily.

I shut my eyes trying to let sleep take over me.

All I could see while my eyes are shut is the picture of the dream I had. I scre-med again and sat up immediately.

What is it, did you have a nightmare? She asked me in worriment and I nodded.

She pulled me to herself and I cuddled up in her arm. I need to call my dad, I’m scared asf…

I’m here for you, don’t worry no evil shall before you and the dream won’t come to pass… She said calmly

“No I need to talk to him!! I shouted and she dialed his number.

Hello! what’s the deal why are you calling at this odd hour, is there a problem? He asked as soon as answered the call

Dad it’s me, I had a nightmare. Someone tried to kill me in my dream… I said

What!! who would dare try to kill my daughter? Don’t worry sweetheart it’s just a dream don’t be afraid okay nothing’s gonna happen to you.

Your Nanny’s there with you and she’s gonna take care of you till I arrive. I promise to come back early tomorrow.

Now go back to bed and pray before you sleep. Always remember daddy loves you so much, okay?

Okay dad, Bye… I said and handed the phone to Nanny.

I know my dad told her few things but I couldn’t decode what it is.

I tried sleeping but i find it so hærd to, so all I could do was shut my eyes and say some prayers silently with my head still pounding.

👩MICHELLE’S POV👩

I was so scared when I heard her loud scre-m, and I became more scared when I saw how haggard she looked.

I had to try hærd to make her sleep and I succeeded after hours of trial before finally having peace at heart

I woke up at 5:00am as usual to go Start my daily routine , only to find her shivering, I touched her forehead and noticed her temperature has aggravated.

She was awake and I didn’t know, I hurriedly carried her off the bed into the bathroom.

Why didn’t you wake me up when you know you aren’t feeling well?

I didn’t wanna wake you up, I know you slept late because of me, Nanny I’m in pains I don’t wanna die… She cried and that got to me, I really wish she could be back to her normal self right now, she doesn’t look good at all.

Sorry darling, we’ll call daddy once I finish bathing you… I said as I poured cold water on her.

Let’s see if your temperature would be back to normal after bathing with this cold water… I said and she held my hand and placed her head on it.

I called her dad when she insisted on talking to him.

Get her to the hospital immediately, rose knows the hospital we use. I’ll be flying back in two hours time.

I’ll call the doctor right away, get her to the hospital ASAP she needs to be attended to on time. Nothing should happen to my daughter… He shouted on phone.

Rose alerted the driver immediately and I dressed her up quickly.

We got to the hospital in few minutes time and she was placed on the stretcher immediately as a matter of urgency.

The doctor recognised us immediately he sighted the driver and rose from afar.

He told rose and the driver to wait outside while I went in with them but they insisted on staying at the lobby.

I was told to stay outside the ward while they attend to her and I did.

Her dad called to check on her and I told him the doctor’s attending to her already.

The doctor and the nurse finally came out some minutes.

Oh! Thank goodness. Doctor how is she now? I asked anxiously.

She’s been attended to and is fine now you can come to my office later to get her result or I can as well hand it over to her dad. He replied and I sighed.

I rushed in immediately he left and found her sleeping though looking pale. I exhaled loudly as I became more relaxed.

Rose and the driver came in after I had texted them to and we all sat beside her bed as we kept watching her.

Is this how she gets when she fall sick? I asked

Yeah, intact this is a bit better. She sometimes passes out before we get to the Hospital… The driver replied

Wow! That’s bad. I’m glad she didn’t pass out this time though, I’d have being extremely scared

I need to go see the doctor, I’ll be right back… I said and left

Doctor I think I’d love to have the result, I can hand it over to her dad when he returns…

Alright you can have it, he said and handed it to me. I heaved a sigh of relief when I read it’s a minor sickness.

You can go get her fruits to eat when she wakes up. I’m sorry the hospital can’t provide fruits for now… He said

No problem, I’ll go get it… I said and texted rose to inform her I’ll be out for a while.

Excuse me sir, I need a direction of where I can get fruits… I said to the janitor I met at the backyard the doctor asked me to pass.
