Chapter Twenty two

Pinkie’s pov:
Lunch was over and Eun Hye walked me to class.

She’s a really good friend and I wonder why Seraphina didn’t join us for lunch.

I went to my seat and carried my bag dropping it on the floor close to my desk. The teacher walked in.

Oh!
I need my notebook.

I reached for my bag and unzipped it. I had to drop it on my desk so I can get my pen too.

I heard a hiss…
Where did that come from?

The guy sitting beside me quickly dragged me up far from the seat.

“A snake!” He yelled.

A red small snake crawled out of my bag. I s¢ræmed and held onto the boy.

Everyone in the class start to panick.

A plump boy used his shoe to hit the snake.

It bled before it starts to turn weak.

Two boys joined and they killed the snake.

“What is a snake doing in your bag Pinkie?” The teacher asked.

“I don’t know” I stuttered.

All stares were on me and then I realized I was still holding the guy that had saved me earlier.

I quickly left him.

I was even scared of the bag.

What’s a snake doing in my bag? Howww?

Too bad. My plan didn’t work.

I have to deal with that girl!

Pinkie’s pov:
The principal called Rex and told him what happened. He told me to come home immediately.

I waited for the driver by the school garden.

He’s taking so long.

Suddenly three girls surrounded me, each holding sticks.

I tried to get away but they start to beat me and hit me the sticks brutally.

I s¢ræmed in pain and discomfort.

Why are they hurting me? What did I do to them?
I was on the floor as they beat me…

Am so weak and starts to vomit blood. They left me and stepped back.

Seraphina walked to me with a stick.

She matched me on my stomach. I whimpered.

She raises the stick up probably aiming for my face.

She wants to give me a scar!

No, I have to stop her.
My tears dropped.
Can she be my step sister?

“Bam Ji!” I yelled as she brought it down.

She stared at me like she was seeing a vision or something.
My driver drove in.

“Sera, let’s go!” One of the girls yelled and dragged her. They ran away.

I tried to sit up gr0-ning in pain.
The driver ran to me and helped me up.

I couldn’t stop crying.

Rex’s pov:
“Rex please!” Pinkie muttered holding my hand.

“Let me go pinkie! Am not letting this drop! Not this time” i said ruefully. 😠😡

“No… Let them be Rex. Just stay here with me” she muttered and starts to cry.

This melts my heart.
I came back to her and pulled her close.

That principal, I told her to take care of Pinkie.

I sighed.
Bruises all over her pale skin.

This makes me angry but I have to be with her.

“I want to leave school Rex.
I don’t want to go there again,
I should have listened to you!” She said and cried bitterly.

A tear slid down my cheek and I wiped it off..

What have my innocent pinkie done to them?

She cried so much.
She’s been hurt emotionally.

“I want you for me Pinkie. I love you. Please stop crying for me” I cooed but she couldn’t stop.

I k!$sed her tears.

I ran into my room with a banging headache.

Bam ji.

Why does that ring a bell? Why can’t I remember where I heard that?

What’s wrong with me?

Am going crazy?

Now I think about it, I can’t remember my childhood!

What’s going on????

What’s my mom keeping from me? Why is my brain scrambled and screwed up?

I pulled my hair angrily! My head starts to hurt.

Who is Bam Ji? Who is she to me?
I need to meet Pinkie.
