CHAPTER 23
.

Standing in front of the crown prince’s room, Rosanne breathed out a heavy sigh seeing him standing by his window.

“Good morning, your Highness!” she greeted, trying to curtsey with the tray in her hand.

“I brought breakfast” Rosanne announced.

Not getting a reply from him. She sighed and was about to announce her presence again when the crown prince finally spoke up.

“Just leave the food on the bed and get out!” He spat angrily.
He wasn’t in a good mood and Rosanne could clearly see that clearly. She squinted her ocean eyes as she stepped into his room, carefully placing the tray of food on his bed, pursed her l-ips before walking out of his room.

That’s right, the crown prince was surely unpredictable. With his switching moods and personality, Rosanne wanted to be sure when to break the ice or melt the ice.
:

“How much longer do we have to walk?” Martha whined, sqauting beside a tree.

“I told you not to come with me, you’ll do nothing but slow us down” Garam sighed.
“I’m exhausted, where the hell is this castle Sylph anyways?” Martha shrugged.

“Oh Castle Sylph will not appear if we don’t keep walking, or you can take a turn and go back home.” Collin added…
“I’ve come this far to back down. Let’s go, it’s been ages since I’ve seen Rosanne anyways” Martha mumbled standing up.

“Hey, we’re not going to see Rosanne, we’re going to see where castle Sylph is” Garam stated sternly.

The three friends started to walk together again, nobody saying anything until Collin broke the silence.

“And what do you mean it’s been ages since you’ve seen Rosanne, aren’t you both best friends? Your cottages are just inches away” Collin shrugged…

“Well I do see her, she sees me, smiles at me and walks away, we used to be friends.” Martha rolled her eyes.

“Yes, you both used to be friends, but then you decided you wanted to become someone else, ditching her to hang out with males, Rosanne told me all back then” Garam expounded.

“Ditching her? She was the one who always pestered me to Make boring flower crowns, I got sick of it” Martha shook her head…
“She was trying to make you girly, but you disagreed. How sad!” Collin laughed.

“Shut up.” Martha spat.

“Oh, I can see bricks ahead” Collin announced, pointing forward.

Garam and Martha Turned to the direction to where Collin pointed.

“That’s the kind of brick used only when building Castles, which means we’re close. My guess what right” Garam rejoiced with a smirk.
“Then what are we waiting for?” Martha smiled and was about walking ahead, but got pulled back my Garam.

“Walk behind me. If we get caught, I’ll make sure to kill you before we all die. We don’t know how many guards are there, think before you act!” Garam shook his head, frustratedly.

“Sorry.” Martha grinned.

“Okay, both of you, just follow my lead” Garam said, beckoning his head forward as he started walking again, with his two friends trailing behind him.
:
Dressed in one of the noble looking dress that has been placed for her, Rosanne admired the dress on her body and smiled to herself.
Stepping out of her room, she carefully made it down the stairs, and gently look out the window to see the sun, immensely bright, and the dry flowers at garden begging her to come make flower crowns out of them.
Rosanne giggled to herself and her legs rushed their way to the castle’s exit door.
.
Hiding behind a bush, across castle Sylph, Martha gasped loudly seeing how big the castle was…

“This is my first time, seeing a castle up close, its so big and beautiful .” Martha gasped with a smile.

“You haven’t been to the castle of Orrander?” Collin asked…
“It’s not everyday you get an honour to deliver coal in the castle. No I haven’t” Martha snapped.

“Keep it down you two” Garam spoke up.

“Surprisingly there are no guards” Garam said, squinting his eyes.

“There aren’t. You can also tell how empty the castle will be from the looks of it” Collin added.

“I think we should go closer for more observing” Martha suggested.
“No! We stay here and try t–
Garam was suddenly interrupted by the faint sound of the castle door getting opened.
“Get down” Garam whispered.

“We’re still a bit far from the castle. We won’t be heard, you don’t have to whisper” Martha said, carefully hiding her hair that was being too friendly with the wind.

“shut up Martha” Garam whisper yelled..

The three friends carefully watched at the doors of castle Sylph slowly opened, and they were all astonished by the person who walked out of the giant doors, a smile on her face.

“It’s Rosanne.” Martha whispered.

“She’s so beautiful.” Collin added.

“Yes, she is” Garam smiled. “And in that loving looking dress”.

“She seemed to be living as a princess than a slave” Martha scoffed.
“I sure am lucky.” Garam grinned to himself.

Rosanne stopped on her tracks and turned to the direction of the bushes which was about fifteen feet away from where she stood.

“Sh*t! Get down.” Garam panicked, pushing Collin’s head down

Rosanne shrugged and walked away, doubting she felt anything.

“Is it possible she heard us.? It can’t be we’re far away” Martha said.

“She can’t hear us, it’s just her sixth sense kicking in.” Garam sighed.

“Sixth sense.?” Collin scoffed.

“Yes that is Rosanne for you, she’s one of those people with a stable sixth sense. She feels presence. I’ve tried creeping up to her to surprise her sometimes, but she feels presence, if I can say” Garam explained standing up.

“Okay that’s it, we can heard back now, I just wanted to know where castle Sylph was.” Garam sighed, dusting his dirty trousers.

“That’s it.! We should at least say hi. Rosanne would be pleased seeing us” Martha smiled.

“Oh holy f*cking mother of Orrander, how are you so dumb?” Collin rolled his eyes.
“Shut it!” Martha nudged him.

Grabbing his sickle, Garam left the place and his friends trailed behind.

He carefully smiled to himself, recalling how beautiful Rosanne looked. He couldn’t wait to marry her.
