CHAPTER 22
.
The sun was up and it was a bright new day. Rosanne got out of bed that morning and went straight to the castle’s kitchen.
Preparing one of the heaviest breakfast for the crown prince.
She was pleased with what he did last night, and a smile remained on her face as she took his food to him.
:

“Good morning father!” Garam smiled as he walked into Zackary’s cottage, a sickle in his hand.

“Garam!” Zackary smiled, seeing his daughter’s betrothed.
“Such an early visit! Have you filled your gut with breakfast?” Zackary asked.

“Oh, I have and ready to go out of Orrander”.

“Out of Orrander? Why?” Zackary asked.
“No, it’s just for today, for a little hunting and maybe cut down some heavy logs for my father to make fire woods, I’ll make sure to bring you some too father” Garam grinned,

“I have enough, your father needs them more than I do.”

“Okay then, I’ll be back before or by dusk” Garam explained.

“Oh and I received Rosanne’s letter and sent her one, I think she’ll be writing one back with the help of his highness, would you peharps love to write one for her too?” Zackary asked.

“Of course, I’d love to,” Garam beamed.

“Then we’ll arrange that for tomorrow” Zackary nodded.
“sure” Garam smiled.
.
Exiting Zackary’s cottage, Garam shook his head “with the help of his highness alright.”
He bit his bottom lip angrily and walked down the sandy road.

“Garam.!”
Garam heard a familiar voice call his name as he walked down the road that led out of Orrander.

“Garam” he heard again and funky footsteps behind him. He rolled his eyes and kept walking.

“Garam we know you can hear us, stop pretending” The voice said and Garam felt a small rock hit his head.

“son of a b*itch” Garam spat and Turned ferociously at his two friends.

“I told you donkeys not to follow me!” Garam huffed.

“Oh really? Watch who you call donkey you’re the one with the plumped cheeks and a horse bum.” Collin, Garam’s friend said, causing his other friend to laugh.

“What are you laughing at Martha” Garam spat.

“Oh, how you’ll always be Garam.” Martha laughed, tieing her long blond hair behind her head.

“Seriously I told you guys not to follow me, especially you Martha, your mother is going to have her head hung if she finds out you’re out of Orrander.” Garam sighed.

“Try to understand that I am a grown woman and my mother has nothing to worry about.” Martha smiled, ripping off her skirt and revealing a pair of birches on her legs.
“A grown woman?” Collin laughed. “You’re seventeen, you child.”

“And the audacity to call yourself a woman” Garam added with a smirk.

“What in the world of Orrander are you two dorks talking about.” Martha glared at them.

Collin stepped forward “Let me Make this clear, you climb trees like monkeys, hunt animals better than I do, prefer wearing men trousers to skirts, have no female friends and have no feminine trait, the effrontery to call yourself a lady. Please.”

“And so what?” Martha gasped.

“And so what?” Collin mimicked.
“You’re a boy in a lady’s Body” Garam scoffed.

“Ohh, too bad I’m not little miss perfect Rosanne.” Martha rolled her eyes.

“You are nothing near Rosanne” Garam laughed.
“Exactly, you should know how many lads almost fought for Rosanne, Garam is sure lucky” Collin pinned.

“let her hear it all Collin.” Garam stated, boastful.

“Garam, he’s only taking your side so he could come with you.” Martha pointed out.
“I don’t care, you can both come whatsoever, but if you get in trouble Martha, do not mention my name” Garam warned.
“And do not mention mine either.” Collin added. Pushing his dirty blonde hair back.

“Relax guys” Martha smiled as she took a step forward.
“I am not going to get in trouble. I gave my mother a little something in her tea, she’s going to be sleeping for a long time, you both have nothing to worry about, trust me on this one.” Martha smiled biting her bottom lip, her attractive Hazel eyes glistening under the morning sun.

“You evildoer” Collin tsked, shaking his head.

“She needs a good rest sometime, I just made it easy. And besides, less talking and more walking,” Martha smiled linking arms with both boys and pulling them forward. Her height being nothing compared to the two lads.

“So Garam, I heard you’re just using hunting and chopping down trees as an excuse to get out of Orrander, your real mission is to find your way to castle stiff, slip, swilf? I forgot what Collin called it” Martha giggled.

Garam stopped on his Track, he glared at Collins. “what part of the word secret, did you not understand?”

“Sometimes my mouth works on it’s own” Collin gulped nervously.

“I swear on my god damned grandmother’s grave, I tell you no more secrets Collin. Now you have this little girl, boy, lady or whatever her name is leaking it out in all of Orrander” Garam spat.
“Hey!” Martha yelled. “do not think you’re hurting my feelings by calling me a boy, you rabbit”.

“Yeah right, I bet you told this to about fifty people before coming here with Collin to meet me.” Garam added sternly.
“I told no one. I promise” Martha sighed.

Garam said nothing and started to walk again. Collin and Martha got on their tracks and Martha linked Garam’s arm with hers.
“So… Basically we’re on our way to secretly meet with Rosanne right?”Martha grinned.

“Don’t touch me. And no we’re not, I’m just going to find out if a place like castle Sylph exist” Garam spat, trying to pull his hand out of Martha’s grip, but she was surprisingly strong.

“You’re just changing your words, it’s basically the same thing” Collin laughed.

“Yes it is” Martha beamed. “we’re secretly on a Misson to rescue Garam’s love who was secretly kidnapped by the King’s men.”

“Uh… She was sent to castle Sylph as an honour to work for his highness. Do not let mythical stories dwell in your tiny brain.” Collin scoffed.

“Look who’s talking.” Martha rolled her eyes.

“Okay, it’ll be perfect if you both just shut up.” Garam sighed.

“I can’t, the journey is exciting already. It’s like an adventure, we’re off to save princess Rosanne” Martha grinned,

“And here we go again with the false tales, you’ve been hearing to many stupid stories Martha” Collin huffed.

“Leave me be. Hmph!” Martha blurted, taking farther steps away from the boys.
