SCHOOL PREMISES

Jason is seated on a bench with his head lowered to his books, going through some samples and exercises.

Starlet walks in straight to where he was seated and sits too. “How about my birthday party… Won’t you be coming?”

Jason doesn’t look up and ignores what she had just say, pretending he didn’t hear her nor see her.

Starlet places her palm on his book, blocking him from reading. “Listen to me, Jason” she said and placed her other hand on his shoulder.

“I know you don’t like me anymore, but that wouldn’t stop you from coming for my birthday party ummm?” She said again, still placing her hand on his book.

Jason sighs and looks at her, he removes her palm from his book and stood up, leaving where she was.

Drawing invisible lines on the table, Starlet smiled mischievously while looking at Jason who walked away.

“Dear Jason, I already have the perfect plan for you… see you till then honey…”

Roseanna walks up to Jason who is at the school hall, he was spaced out. She sits besides him and gently taps him on his shoulder.

“What is on your mind?” She asks concerned.

Jason sighs and looks at her, he curled his lips inwards and let out a deep breathe.

“Would you be happy if I go for someone’s birthday?” He asked staring deeply into her eyes.

“Who?”

“Starlet…”

Roseanna kept quiet and looks away, she turns back to him.

“And why do you think I would say no?… There is nothing wrong about anyone’s birthday party right?” Roseanna responded though deep down, she wasn’t in support of it.

“I wouldn’t stop you from attending Starlet birthday party if she had invited you…” Roseanna concluded as she forced a smile on her face.

” Really?— How about us going together… You know I wouldn’t let you be alone…” Jason says with a creased brow.

“Jason… if Starlet finds out about our relationship, I’m gone!! And going with you to her birthday party would only worsen the case…” she paused and sighs. ” So I won’t go!!” She retorted and looks away.

Jason held her hand and smiled, “If you are not going then I am not going… And I mean it…”

“Hey! I didn’t stop you from going… Perhaps you’re the one who was invited not me!!!” Roseanna exclaims.

” Really?… Then I am inviting you”

” I am not going!!”

” You are!!”

” I am not!!”

” You will!!”

Both disagrees until Roseanna got tired. ” Fine!!… I wouldn’t have to be the one to stop you from attending her function…”.

ALVIN’S HOUSE

Starlet decided to pay Alvin a surprise visit and soon she was at his house.

She packs her car, putting off the car ignition, she alighted the car.

Just then, Alvin had just come out of his house, heading towards his own car.

Starlet sees him, running to him, she embraces him tightly.

“Phew… thank goodness… if I had come later, I wouldn’t have seen you around” She said still hugging him.

Alvin pulls her out and gripped her hand roughly.

“If you are here just to remind me about your pregnancy and my responsibility… then you can leave!!”

” Alvin… but it’s our child… how first baby!”

” And how am I even sure your pregnant uh? When I am sure with the number of ab0rtions you have done, certainly you can’t be pregnant again… you just want to give me burden and know that I won’t accept it!!!” Alvin spat.

“Alvin!!”

“Leave my presence and my house before I pûsh you away not minding your state of pregnancy…” he moves her aside and hurriedly walks over to his car and enters it.

Starlet turns to him and smiles. Wiping off the fake tears from her cheeks, she shakes her head.

“Really Alvin… Do you really think I want you to be the father… when I have someone who would actually bear his fatherly responsibility…”

Things are going smoothly for Roseanna and Jason as their bond grows deeper each passing day… but will this continue for long…😭😭😭

Chapter 39

Roseanna is dressed in a red high-low sheath one shoulder dress, she puts on a silver earrings, a silver chocker with a ruby pendant on it to complement her dressing.

Diana helps pack and style her hair into a crown braid updoo. Roseanna wears a silver sparkling peep toe heel. She looks at her two friends as they nod their head in satisfactory, this time they wouldn’t be following her tonight.

“You look super adorable Rosie!!” Diana exclaims as she throws kisses in the air.

Roseanna behaving like a child caught the kisses and pat it on her face. “Thank you!!”

“Rosie please be careful…” Kalila warned.

“I will…”

Few minutes later, a car horn was heard then Roseanna glances at the clock, ” 7:45″.

Diana nudge her teasingly, putting on a silly smile, ” Awwwn, your prince charming has come to pick you… Ta-da!!”

” Ready to go?” Kalila asks.
” Yes Lila, I am… ”

Roseanna walks through the door as she waved at them.

Roseanna walks down to the car where Jason stood waiting for her. He catches a glimpse of her and smiles as she radiantly dazzled in her red and silver combination.

Jason opens the passenger door which Roseanna gracefully enters and he closes it. He opens his door and too goes in.

Starting the ignition and pulling his seat belt, Jason glances at Roseanna again and smiles.

“You look very beautiful Rosie…” Jason complimented.

“Thank you…”.

Jason zooms off the school premises and drives to the location where the party was to be held. Soon he packs his car at a hotel leaving Roseanna surprised.

“Why a hotel?” Roseanna asks.

“Starlet wants the birthday to be in a grand style and perhaps this is where she loves to celebrate her birthday…”

“Ohh…” Roseanna exclaims. Still inside the car, she looks around and sees young people of Starlet type tropping into the hotel, she sighs.

Seeing she was uncomfortable, Jason comes down from the car and goes to meet her.

“Do not feel bad… I’m with you…”, opening the door for her, he held her hands while she alights from the car.

Closing the door behind them, they walked into the building.

“Ladies and gentlemen, you are all welcome to this unique and special party hosted by our one and only St-ar-let!! Our beauty queen.

Applauses were heard as Starlet majestically walks into the stage as the music was playing.

Soon the party kicked off.

“Hello ma’am, I am already at your birthday party, inside the garden at the back” A man with a baritone voice sounded over the phone.

“Okay, I am coming to meet you, hold on …” Starlet who excused herself from the stage, exit to meet him.

Drinks are served among the attendeeés while the party was on.

Jason decides to get the drinks himself and he stood up and moves out a little but turns back again.

“Just be careful, Rosie…” he told her and walks out.

(HOTEL GARDEN)

Starlet walks into the garden and looks around, she sighs as she sees no one there.

She picks up her phone and called him again, “I am at the garden you said you are, where are you?”

Soon, a young huge guy comes from the back and taps her, “Here am I”

” Ohh, you know of the plan right?” Starlet asked and he nods.

Bringing out a picture from her gown, she gives it to him. ” Take, the is the girl I am talking about…”

Taking the picture from her, he smiles, ” On it ma’am” he bows and leaves.

Starlet smiles mischievously and moves her head sideways.

” Things going according to plan, he does he’s and I perform mine… Am coming dear Jason…!”

Jason takes a little time and a steward serves Roseanna a soft drink as she requested.

He smiles as he winks at a guy in front, nodding his head twice.

Roseanna drank the drink and her head begins to spin around making her vision blur…

“Miss, can I have a dance with you?”

“Uh?”

*****

“Sir you will prefer this wine” A Steward says pouring a certain wine into a cup.

Jason not looking at him, he hurriedly pours a sachet of Golden Swiss into the wine.

“Sir you can have it”

Taking the wine from him, Jason quickly gulps it down.

“Darling, come over” Starlet says as she held him seductìvely, pulling him up to the stairs which he follows intoxic@ted.

Taking him to the nearest available room, she immediately shut the door behind her.

She quickly drops down her dress leaving only her bra and pantíes on.

Chapter 40

“Miss, can I have a dance with you?” A guy asks stretching out his hand.

“Uh?” Roseanna looks at him, a little bit drunk, she lazily accepted his hand.

Pulling her from the chair, he grabbed her by the waist taking her to the dancing floor.

“You are damn beautiful, darling and for that you’re sure gonna love today for a reason…” He said whispering it to her.

Few minutes of dancing with her, the unknown guy looks around, gently he takes Roseanna out from there.

“Where are you taking me to?” Roseanna asks confused.

” Shhhh!”

He takes her up the stairs to a nearest hotel room.

Just with bra and pantíes on, Starlet walks over to Jason and crosses her hands over his shoulder.

“Surely my plan will come to stay…”

Jason fully intoxic@ted, wraps his hands round her body, lifting her up to his torso as he lowers himself on her intending to kiss her.

Opening the hotel door, The guy with Roseanna takes her inside and closes the door behind her.

He pushes her to the bed, unbuckling his belt, he smiled devilishly.

“This night will be memorable darling!”

Roseanna slowly opens her eyes, her drunken state reduced. She tries to move but felt a body on her, pinning her to the bed. He tries to kiss her but she moves her head sideways.

“Let go of me!!” Roseanna screams as she struggles to get him out of her body.

Trying to push him, he pinned her harder.

“Ahhh” Roseanna screams and pushed him out of the bed.

“Come here!” He said. Pulling the hems of her dress, it rift open, exposing the silk mini gown she wore inside.

“Oh no” Roseanna mutters as she tries to run.

“Help me!!” Roseanna shouts as she bangs the door loudly.

Jason lowers his head to kiss Starlet but hears a loud banging at the nearby door besides the room he was in.

Starlet runs her finger on his lips down to his neck, trying to get him more aröused while he was intoxic@ted.

But the banging on the other door got more louder distracting Jason on what he was about to do.

Letting out a little sigh, Jason drops Starlet to the floor and heads towards the door.

“What?” Starlet muttered with her eyes widen in surprise. She quickly stood up and goes after him.

Unfortunately he had left the door and she couldn’t go further since she was just wearing her bra and undies.

“Fvck”

Roseanna kept on banging the door thinking it was locked from the outside till Jason got closer.

The guy advanced to her while Roseanna looks around looking for a way to escape. Soon she finds the bolt and unlocks it, falling on Jason.

The guy seeing someone at the door paused. Knowing too well, Jason was sure to beat the hēll outta him, he runs out.

Thanking God Jason had come, she hugs him tightly unknowingly to her that at that particular point, Jason was not in the right state of mind.

Instead Jason too closes the door and held her roughly still intoxicated and he couldn’t control himself.

“Jason… W-h-a-t what a-re you…”

Without completing her sentence, Jason smooches his lips on hers and pushed her to the bed still holding her firmly.

He kissed her cheeks tracing down to her neck.

Roseanna shocked by it, tries to pull him out.

“We shouldn’t be doing this Jason, this is not right at all…” she said slowly as she struggles weakly to let him off her body.

Totally stronger than her, and the drink having a high effect on him. Jason overpowered her, having his way with her.

Roseanna cries as she remembers what had just happened few moments ago, going through the incident which kept on flashing made her cry the more.

“How dâre you, Jason… I trusted you so much and this was all I get…”

She looks at him who was asleep completely unaware of what had just happened. Anger broke within her.

She tries to stand up but feels pain in her lower abdomen. Not wanting Jason to see her the way she was, she stood up holding her stomach not minding the pain she felt.

She cleans herself up and wore her under dress. Looking back at Jason made the tears well up and strokes down her cheeks.

Despite the pain and weakness of her body, Roseanna walks out of the room admist tears. She walks down the stairs and out of the hotel.

Lighting strikes as cold wind blew showing signs of a heavy downpour.

Since no vehicles drive around late at night, Roseanna trekked with the wind blowing her tender face, soon the rain began.

She finally reached the hostel, totally drenched by the rain with cold, she walked up to her room which she shared with Kalila and Diana.

Surely they would be asleep by now, Roseanna doesn’t know if she could knock on the door.

What would she tell them? That the party didn’t go well… That she was drunk or she was taken advantage of…?

Fresh tears filled her eyes as she found it hard to knock on the door.

Resting her head on the door, she breathes in and knocks.

Kalila hears knock on the door and quickly stood up as the knocking continued. Diana gets up too from the bed totally alarmed.

Reaching the door, Kalila hears someone weeping, she immediately open the door.

Diana gasps in surprise, “It’s Roseanna!!” Shocked to see her in this state, they both looked at each other turning their gaze back to her.

Diana hurries and fetches her some clothes for her to get changed while Kalila held her by the hand inside slowly.

Roseanna changes her clothes and damps her hair which was now in a mess.

Diana and Kalila walks up to her. Holding her by the shoulder, Kalila wipes the tears from her cheeks.

“Tell me… What actually happened?”
Instead of giving a reply, Roseanna cries the more.
