“So Joe you have a pregnant wife?
Pearl asked.

Joe became so shocked and dumfounded on seeing the picture.

“Is not what you think Pearl!Where did you get the picture from?
He sounded.

“Is not what I think that you are a married man and have a pregnant wife at home?
She shouted.

“Am not married Pearl! that lady is not wife rather my sister,how can I be married and still not to marry you? someone meant sent this to frame me up it meant Bryan’s handiwork”
He sounded trying to prove his innocence.

“Bryan’s handiwork indeed! Your sister indeed! so Joe you k×ssed your sister in the l-ips and also in her tummy?
She shouted angrily showing him the pictures.

Joe don’t know to escape from this anymore Pearl has already left the cat out of the net,he became so speechless starring at the pictures.

“Is the pictures Bryan’s handiwork too? You know what Joe I don’t have the strength to shout much so if you know what’s good for you pack your things and leave my house if you don’t want me to call the cops on you”
She shouted angrily.

“Please Pearl let me explain”
He sounded.

“What did you want to explain now? the pictures are clear I don’t need any explanation from you just go in there and pack your things”
She shouted and went to the guest room to and throw his bag out from the room.

Joe grabbed his bag and started pleading,
“Please forgive me it’s the handiwork of the devil”

“The handiwork of the devil indeed! Whenever they caught a criminal like you that always the statement”the handiwork of the devil” mother made me into believing you are a change person and accepting to marry you how I wish mother is here she will see how change you have become”
She shouted angrily.

“Please Pearl give me time to explain things to you,I don’t know what can over me,I was not in my right sense please forgive me”
He said.

“Joe leave my house before I will come the cops on you”
She shouted and pushed him out from the door along side with his bag.

“Please Pearl! Please!
He sounded,Pearl shut the door on his face.

“Nonsense! Rubbish! thank God we did not proceed the marriage right away”
She shouted and sat down to cool her head.

Princess came back from school and didn’t see Joe,in the evening time she decided to ask her Mom about him.

“Mom what of Daddy Joe?
She asked.

“Send him out,he is not coming back to this house”
She said.

Princess jumped and shouted happily,
“Heeeeeeh! Finally he is gone from our house and never return”
She did not care to ask her Mom what happen.

She hugged her Mom and shouted,
“Mom am so so happy,I can now be with Daddy Bryan infact let me go and see him now”
She ran out.

“Come back here Princess! Princess!
She call out but she didn’t listen and shut the door.

“This girl!
Pearl sounded.

Princess knocked on Bryan’s door,Bryan opened the door and was so surprised to see her.

“I have miss you Daddy Bryan”
She said and hugged him.

“I have miss you too my Princess,where are you here? Won’t your Dad being mad at you for being in my house? I don’t want his problem”
He asked,he remembered the last time Princess came to his house the outcome of it was mad,Joe came to his house and started ranting like a mad dog he even fought him.

“Not at all!
She answered happily and went in,side.

“What did you mean Princess?
He asked confusingly.

“My mother send him out from the house and he is gone forever”
She sounded excitedly.

“Gone forever! What happen?
He asked being so confused.

“I don’t know my excitement didn’t allow me to ask my Mom immediately she told me that he is gone and not coming back I rush to see you”
She sounded with smiles.

“I wonder what meant happen that made your Mom to send him out”
He sounded.

“Daddy Bryan are you not happy that he is no more in our lives again,I don’t like him at all he always shout at me all the time and sometimes he will even punish me for nothing”
She sounded.

“Are you being serious Princess?
He asked being confused to hear that.

“Yes Daddy Bryan! He is a wicked man I don’t like him you are the only one I want to have as my father,I miss you so much”
She said and hugged him so tight.

Bryan pecked her on the cheek and said,
“I miss you too my Princess!

“Now that he is gone won’t you go and talk to my Mom then reconcile with her so that we can be a happy family or don’t you love my Mommy again?
She asked.

“I never stop loving your Mommy,I will talk to her okay”
He said.

Princess smiled and hugged him again,
“Thank you Daddy Bryan am so happy to have you as my Daddy”

“And am so happy to have you as my daughter”

“Daddy Bryan I want to eat noodles you know I like the way you used to prepare it for me so yummy yummy”
She sounded and Bryan laughed.

“Okay,let’s go and prepare it then”
He sounded and carried her as they made their way to the kitchen.

“Anne should I go and talk to Bryan?
She asked .

“So you haven’t talk to him since two days Joe left the house?
She asked.

“No I have not,I don’t know how to approach him you know am the one that break up with him”
She sounded.

“Bestie did you still love Bryan?
She asked.

“Are you the one asking me this question? You know very well that I love Bryan with all my heart”
She said.

“Then go and talk to him”

“Am scared Anne,What If he has moved on?
She asked being so worried.

“How can he moved on within two weeks of break up? I don’t think so Pearl I know that Bryan loves you and Princess so much it will be hærd for him to move on,you have to go and talk and reconcile back with your love unless you want it to be too late”
She said.

“No! I won’t hesitate anymore I will go and see him once I leave your house”
She said.

“Now you are talking so what can I offer you?
She asked with smiles.

“Did you cook because I need to eat?”

“I just finished cooking Banga rice”

“Yeah my favorite!
She sounded and rushed to the kitchen.

“The rice is not big ooo! Don’t finish it ooo!
She shouted and rushed to the kitchen.

Pearl knocked on Bryan’s door with her heart beating so fast wondering what could be the outcome of the visit what Bryan’s reaction will be when she will ask for them to rekindle back their love.

Bryan opened the door and he was so excited to see her.

“I have been expecting you Pearl,please come in,side”
He sounded with smiles while Pearl looked so surprised,she didn’t expect this excitement from him she thought he gonna be rude to her,she went in,side and sat down.

Bryan sat beside her and asked with smiles,
“How are you doing Pearl?

“Am so so sorry Bryan!
she said not knowing how to start with the apology.

“Sorry about what Pearl?
He asked with smiles.

“Am deeply sorry for breaking up with you I never wanted to break your heart,What I did was so foolish and Impulsive if I could take It all back I’d do this so Instant I truly didn’t mean to hurt you In any way am sorry for hurting you,I’m sorry may not mean that much to you but it means a lifetime of our relationsh¡p to me please forgive me and let rekindle back our love”
She apologized in tears with her hands folded.

He wiped her tears and said,
“Don’t cry my love,I don’t want to see this tears,I love you I never stop loving you my beautiful Pearl, I know breaking up with me was under the influence of your mother but what happen why did you sent Joe out of the house?

“Princess told you right?
She asked with smiles.

“You know our daughter don’t hide things from me so tell me what happen?
He sounded with smiles.

Pearl narrated everything to him,Bryan shouted,
“That man is just a bastard a complete idiot! He have a pregnant woman and he want to marry you secretly he even made your mother into believing he is a change person what’s his reason of doing such rubbish?

“I don’t care to know his damn reason thank we didn’t proceed the marriage right away my life and my daughter’s would have been mess right now”
She sounded.

He held her hands and said,
“Thank God you are back to me my wife for the past two weeks I have not been myself my life was so incomplete but now it’s complete”

“Am so so sorry my love,I won’t break your heart anymore I cross my heart”
She sounded.

“It’s okay my love,we won’t be apart from each other again”
He said and they k×ssed so passionately like their lives depends on the k×ss, their k×ssing led them to the room and to landed them on the bed.

Two weeks later,Pearl has been feeling dizzy and having a nausea Anne conceived her to run an oral pregnancy test.

“Is it positive?
Anne asked excitedly.

“Am scared I have not check it”
She sounded.

“See this girl ooo! What are you scared for? Abeg give me that anything let me check”
She sounded and collected the test from her.

“Wow! Wow! It’s positive! Girlfriend you will soon be a mother”
She shouted and hugged her,Pearl looked so scared about the news.

“What is it? Why is your face like this? Why are you not happy with the news?
Anne asked confusedly.

“Am scared Anne!
She sounded and sat down.

“Scared about what?
She asked still confused about her friend’s reaction.

“What of Bryan reject the pregnancy? What of he ask me to abort it? What If he tell me that he is not ready to father a child?
She sounded being so scared.

“Enough of this what if and think positive Pearl or did you think every other guy are like that Joe that don’t have sense of humor in him? I know Bryan loves you so much and he takes Princess as his own daughter tell me why he won’t be happy about the news?
She shouted.

“Are you sure he won’t reject the pregnancy?
She asked still worried.

“Oh my goodness! Pearl enough of this negative thoughts,go and tell Bryan the news I know he will be happy to hear it”
She said.

“You mean I should I go right now?

“Of course right now or did you plan to hide it from him till one week?
She asked.

Pearl thought about on how to tell him,
“What are you still waiting for go now?
Anne asked.

Pearl’s phone rang it was Bryan,he picked the call and put it on loudspeaker.

📞Pearl are you at home?
He asked.

📞 Yes am home”

📞 Will you come over to my place I want to tell you something?

📞 Okay,I will be right there”
She said and he ended the call.

“He even want to tell you something who knows he meant propose”
Anne sounded smiles.

“Girlfriend stop wasting time and go and meet him nah”
She sounded.

Meanwhile Bryan have decided to spend the rest of his life with Pearl and Princess so he made up his mind to propose to Pearl,he is so anxious and don’t know how to bump the question to her.

Bryan stared at the diamond ring and said,
“Love is not a word to say. Love is not a game to play. Love doesn’t start in April and ends in May. Love is yesterday, tomorrow, and forever. Will you be mine to the eternal”

He sighed and said,
“No that’s too simple I have to be more realistic while proposing to her”

He walked around the sitting room thinking on how to propose to her.

“How will I do this? I got no idea my head is damn blocked now, Bryan think a sweet way to propose to this girl nah”
He sounded hitting his head.

He thought and thought and came out with a sweet words of proposing to her.

“The day I saw your face was the day I believed that mine was love at first sight. I sought for, and found you. Far it be from me that my quest will end without walking down the aisle with you and I searched for a woman, and found you. It wasn’t an easy journey, but you are worth the adventure. I can’t love you less. I want to spend the rest of my life with you,Pearl if I have to choose between you and life, I wouldn’t blink an eyelid before jumping to your side. What’s the essence of choosing life if you aren’t in it to make it meaningful?

“As a child wants the reassurance of its mother to take larger steps with its little feet, so do I need the constant presence of your love to conquer the world for us. I won’t ask for more than your love. Please, be mine and marry me”
He sounded with so much joy.

“Yeah that’s so sweet!
He sounded with smiles and comported himself waiting for her.

Few minutes later a knock came from outside,
“Yes she is here! Please come in”

The person came in and Bryan became so shocked of who he saw.

“You! What are you doing in my house? How did get my address?
He shouted confusedly.

The lady walked to him and sat beside him,
“Babe you know I miss you so much,I have been trying to reach you for a very long time but thank God I have finally found you”
Rita his ex girlfriend said.

“Rita what did you want from me?
He shouted.

“I want you back my love since we broken up I have not been myself I don’t know what can over me to cheat on you I was so stupid and senseless then,I called you and looked for you but all to no avail till yesterday when someone sent me your home address,my love I have never stop thinking about you,please forgive me my love”
She said trying to k×ss him but Bryan shouted at her.

“Rita I have forgiven you please …..
She didn’t allow him to complete his statement before hugging him excitedly.

“Thank you so much love I promise I will never never cheat on you again”
She sounded with smiles.

“Forgiven you doesn’t mean we are back together,there will be nothing between us again so you may leave my house I will be expecting someone soon”
He sounded pointing at the door.

“Don’t do this my love, can’t you see that am dying to have you back in my arms that’s why I have been looking for you,I miss you so much love”
She sounded and gave him unexpected k×ss.

Meanwhile Pearl was at the door thinking how she will give Bryan the news at the moment she opened the door that’s why Rita k×ssed Bryan.

“Bryan!
She shouted in shocked.
