EMMA P.O.V

“Sincerely speaking I’ve nothing to say, you know what you want, think deeply, and come out with something good, no one can decide for you because you know exactly what you want,” Brittany said with a smile.

“Alright then, I’ll let you guys know when I think about it” I replied.

“Well think very well, you know what’s good for you,” Brittany said.

“But I’ll advise you to go for the opportunity,” Nadia said.

“You said he will still allow you to partner with him if you didn’t accept to be his contract fiance?” Brittany asked and I nod my head.

“Don’t you think it’s good to turn down his offer?” Brittany asked.

“I don’t think turning down his offer will be nice, he also needs my help” I replied.

“Alright dear, you need to go relax your brain and think properly about it,” Brittany said.

“Alright, but I need to go to one of my offices today,” I said.

“You need rest, and you know that, I’m very sure you didn’t sleep well, Romeo won’t allow you to sleep,” Nadia said with a wink.

“I thought you’re gentle, I never knew you are naughty like this,” I said.

“Normally I’m a shy person, but once I’m free with you, it’s over for you,” Nadia’s said smiling. “Oh, I see” I replied.

“I can be professional if you don’t like it,” she said.

“I love it, Brittany will you go with us?” I asked Brittany and she nod her head immediately.

“Good, let’s go!” I said and she stood up immediately.

“I hope you’ve forgiven me like you said because I’m feeling guilty here, I never knew I’m f00lish until I tried to betray you,” Brittany said.

“common, you’re like a sister to me, I can’t get mad at you, I discovered you need a slap to reset your brain, that was the reason why I slapped you, we are all humans so no one is perfect,” I said and Nadia nods her head in support.

“Thank you very much,” she said and hug me to herself.

Stepping in,side my fashion house, I was seeing different types of new faces.

Oh, I’ve forgotten that my manager said he employed new workers. “Good morning ma, welcome to Emma fashion house, how may i help you?” One of the workers asked and I smiled at her.

“Thanks, I’m here to see your manager” I replied with a smile.

“Wait on ma, let me call him,” The lady said and I smiled at her.

“Hello Mr. Leo, someone is here to see you,” The lady said.

“What’s your name ma?” She asked me. “Emma Maxwell!” I replied.

“Emma Maxwell sir” she replied and the lady gasp immediately.

Maybe Leo told her I’m their boss.

“Welcome, ma!” She said with her head bow and I waved my hand at her.

“Can I go in now?” I asked.

“Sure ma, but he said he will come and pick you hiself,” she said with a smile and Leo come out immediately.

“Welcome Miss Maxwell,” Leo said with a smile.

“Thanks, Leo hope you’re good?” I asked and he nod his head.

“I was about to interview one of the models that wanna work with us,” Leo said.

“Where’s the model?” I asked.

“He’s in my office, thou, he’s an upcoming” Leo replied.

“And did you think upcoming can do the job perfectly?” I asked.

“Yes ma, but don’t forget you’re the one that told me to give them a chance” Leo replied, yeah I know I told him to give them a chance, but not the model that doesn’t have a name at all.

“Let me see the model,” I said.

“Alright Miss Maxwell” he replied with a smile and I walked to his office with Brittany and Nadia by my side.

We walked in,side his office and he pointed at a chair for me to sit.

“Where’s the model?” I asked sitting comfortably.

“Maybe he went to the toilet, let me check him,” he said and walked to the toilet.

“This place is very beautiful, I never knew you have a fashion house, Nadia said looking around.

“I do, I’ve so many things you won’t even believe is mine” I replied.

“You’re a very good person, you’ve all these things and you didn’t show off,” Nadia said.

“What did I wanna show off for? There are many people better than me” I replied.

“You’re right” Brittany replied and Leo come out of the bathroom with the so-called model.

I burst into a hèll of laughter immediately I saw him.

“Oh my goodness! Drew Williams!” I called with a smirk.

“Miss Maxwell, he’s not that popular and you know him,” Leo said and I smile out.

“Yes, I know him” and Drew looks away immediately.

“Congratulations Mr. Drew” Leo said and I left out an evil smirk.

Drew is one of my exes, he really hurt and betrayed me, he was my first love, hoe can someone that can’t keeps a relationsh¡p keep a Job, there’s no way.

“Leo, can I take this interview myself?” I asked with a smirk.

“Sure ma, I’ll like to learn somethings from you,” he said with a smile.

“Mr. Drew can you kindly have your seat!” I said with a professional smile and he scratched the back of his head nervously.

“Please forgive me for whatever I might have done to you, I’m deeply sorry,” he said and I left out an evil smirk, me that I didn’t trust myself.

“Is alright just have your seat” I replied pointing to a chair and Brittany bite back a laugh.

“Should I sit down?” He asked looking at my eyes.

What’s even wrong with this f00l, he is behaving as if he is a cool and gentle person, and he’s an animal in human clothing.

“Just seat, and stop pretending like a good person,” I said and he sat down immediately.

“I have a request, please before we start this interview, I want you to forgive me please, I know you haven’t forgiven me,” he said.

“Don’t make me angry, are you ready for the interview or not?” I asked with a smirk.

“I’m ready” he replied.

“Please let bygone be bygone, this is a new me I’ve changed” he said avoiding eyes contact with me.

“I don’t even understand why you are begging me, we are here for work, not relationsh¡p talk, are you ready,” I asked.

“Yes ma” he replied straightening his cloth with his hand.

Someone that will almost die with my question today.

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Just forgive him and let it go,” Austin said.

“I always see him as a criminal, how did you expect me to forgive him?” Rowen ask.

“Just forgive him, he is a human, and humans are bonded to make mistakes and he’s our boss,” Austin said.

“Your boss not mine” Rowen replied.

“Proudness with nothing, proud go before downfall,” Austin said with a frown.

“so you’re praying for me to fall?” Rowen ask. “Shît I didn’t mean it like that, don’t get me wrong,” Austin’s said and Rowen put off his shoe, before hitting it hærd on Austin’s head.

“Ouch, did you want my brain to leak?” Austin’s asked and Rowen scoff hærd.

“your brain that’s already leaking,” Rowen said. “That’s a lie, my brain can never leak,” Austin said and Rowen’s phone rang out loud.

“Who’s that?” Austin asked.

“Who else, if not the joy killer I called a father!” Rowen said.

“Common, just pick it up, we need to hear what he has to say,” Austin’s said.

“I’m not ready for him today” Rowen replied. “Common, pick it up I’m very sure he can’t say something bad,” Austin said.

“How sure are you?” Rowen ask.

“Hundred percent” Austin replied.

“I promise to kîll you if Dad says something bàd,” Rowen said before clicking on the answer button.

“Did you know you’re a bàstàrd?” Come Rowen’s father loud and harshvoice.

“Sir another set of people are out waiting for you, to interview” Stanley’s secretary said.

“The vacancy is closed I need to go back to the house now” Stanley replied and stood up from the chair.

“Alright, sir” the secretary replied with her head bow.

And Stanley walked out of the office.

“Sir where are you going to?” His Driver asked and rushed to open the car door immediately he saw him.

“To the house” he replied with a smile.

He entered the car and the driver rushed to the driver’s seat, before driving off.

“Dad!” Stanley called surprised.

“Son are you surprised to see me?” Stanley’s father Mr. Wilson asked.

“Yes dad, you didn’t tell me you’re coming, why are you here?” Stanley asked.

“Cut the crap, stop pretending as if you don’t know the reason why I’m here, your mum said she has got a girl for you, she’s your mother’s friend’ daughter, you guys will make a good couple, and you’ll be surprised when you find out who she’s” Mr. Wilson said with a smile.

Episode 21

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Father!” Stanley called and sat on the chair opposite his father.

“Yes, son” Mr. Wilson replied with a smile.

“I don’t need anyone, I’ve gotten myself a girlfriend, I’ll bring her to you guys soon” Stanley replied and removed his suit before throwing it away.

“Hey I’m not a f00l, since you refuse to get married, we have gotten you a responsible and beautiful girl, to crown it all she’s hærdworking,” Mr. Wilson said.

“Dad, let’s make a deal, I’ll bring the lady you, if you don’t like her I’m ready to get married to any woman you have for me then,” Stanley said.

“Don’t take me for a f00l Stanley” Mr. Wilson said angrily.

“I’m not taking you for a f00l, just agree to the deal” Stanley replied.

“Alright then, I give you two days to bring her to the house,” Mr. Wilson said.

“You must be a joker dad, you gave me a month, so I’m still sticking with the plan,” Stanley said.

“I hope you didn’t forget you thirty,” Mr. Wilson said.

“There’s no need to remind me Mr Wilson, I know” Stanley replied and Mr. Wilson chuckled.

“Aren’t you gonna entertain your guest?” Mr. Wilson asked.

“Which guest? The unwanted guest or what?” Stanley asked.

“I’m not an unwanted guest” Mr. Wilson replied with a frown.

“You’re an unwanted guest because I didn’t invite you and you didn’t tell me you’re coming to either” Stanley replied.

“I don’t need to tell you before coming to your house” Mr. Wilson replied.

“Entertain yourself then” Stanley replied and stood up from the chair before walking to his room.

“Mr. Hunt, I’m not a Bàstard! And why did you call?” Rowen asks angrily.

“You’ve got some nerves, don’t you?” Mr. Hunt asked.

“You aren’t ready to talk,” Rowen said and end the call immediately.

“I’m sorry,” Austin said with a frown.

. “I’ll so deal with you, you’re the one that caused this rubbish, I never want to pick his call, but you made me to,” Rowen said angrily.

“I’m sorry, I’ll never do that again,” Austin’s said raising two of his fingers up.

“You won’t even be alive to give me advice next time” Rowen said moving closer to Austin.

Austin’s phone ring out loud and he rushed out to pick it up.

“Hey, Austin!” Dora said from the other end of the call.

“Beautiful Dora, hope you’re good?” Austin asked.

“Sure I’m, doctor discharged me today, can you come and pick me up,” Dora said.

“You wanna lodge in a hotel right?” Austin asked.

“No I’m moving in with you guys, I wanna do anything in my power to make Rowen love me back,” Dora said.

“Dora I don’t think it will work, I’m sorry” Austin replied.

EMMA P.O.V

“Good Mr. Drew, am I right?” I asked pretending to forget his name, and he quickly nod his head.

“I want you to tell me how you about Emma fashion?” I asked with an evil smile, one can tell from my smile that I’ll planning something evil, and he smiled out.

“Emma fashion house is the biggest and best in Paris, so it will be bad if I don’t know about it as a model” he replied.

“Mr. Drew, you haven’t reply my question, that’s not the question I ask,” I said with a frown, trying to be professional.

“I’m sorry Miss, I know about it through news” he replied.

“So the number one question on my list,” I said and clear my throat and I saw him do the sign of the cross.

“Describe the color of Red to someone who’s blind,” I said and rest my back on the chair playing with my car key with an annoying smirk plastered on my face.

“Ma’am,” He called with his brow raised.

“you heard me, so reply to my question,” I said. “I don’t know how to talk to the blinds” He replied.

“You should learn that Mr. Drew, you are a model and I expect you to know everything,” I said and hit my hand on the table and he moved back in fright.

He knows me too well and he knows what I can do.

“Calm down Miss Maxwell,” Brittany said with a smirk.

I understand what she’s trying the do, so I play along.

“Thanks, dear,” I said to Brittany and face Leo. “I need water,” I said.

“Alright, Miss Maxwell,” he said and walked out of his office.

“I thought there’s a water dispenser in the office,” I said.

“Yes the last time I came I saw a water dispenser here,” Brittany said pointing at a corner.

“Yes, I’ll ask Leo once he comes back,” I said. “Back to you Mr. Drew, I’ve Ten questions for you,” I said and he nodded his head.

“What would you do if you’re the only survivor in a plane crash?” I asked.

“I’ll thank God” he replied.

“Did you know God?” I asked with a smirk and he nod his head.

“I doubt it, if you know God you won’t be breaking innocent ladies’ hearts,” I said.

.”That was then” he replied with his head bow in Shame.

“Third question, I’m not satisfied with your, but I’ll ask you another one.

“If you could compare yourself to an animal, what would it be and why?” I asked.

“I can’t compare myself to an animal because I’m not one” he replied.

“Are you sure?” Brittany asked with a smile. “But you look like a chimpanzee, are you from the chimpanzee family?” I asked and I saw tears in the corner of his eyes, don’t blame me, I saw hèll when this guy broke up with me harshly.

“Even pig, because his dressing doesn’t look like a model but a pig,” Brittany said with a smirk, I guess Brittany was trying to get back at him.

He insulted Brittany when she went to talk to him on my behalf.

“I’m sorry for looking like a chimpanzee” he replied and Leo came in,side with the water.

“I thought there’s dispenser in this office before,” I said.

“Yes Miss Maxwell, it’s faulty, but a new one is on the way” he replied and I nod my head.

I can see that Drew desperately needs this work, I’m not gonna give him the job, but I’ll compensate him for his patience.

“If you could have any superhero power, what power would you have and why?” I asked.

“Power to control” he replied.

“To control woman life and p-$$y right?” I asked with a smirk.

“I think I’ve to go now,” he said and stood up from the chair.

“Not so soon, sit down” I replied and pointed to the chair.

“Unfortunately I can’t give you a job here because I don’t trust you,” I said with a smile.

“I know, but Thank you very everything,” he said, what’s he even thanking me for.

“What are you thanking me for?” I asked. “For the opportunity to seat in front of Miss Emma Maxwell” he replied.

“Anyway, I’ll give you a sum of $3000, use it for something important, I believe it will go a long way,” I said and brought out a checkbook from my bag, I put my signature and gave the check to him.

“Thank you very much, Emma,” he said with a smile and I nod my head.

“It’s okay, you can go now,” I said and he walked out of the office.

“Miss Maxwell, did you know him?” Leo asked. “Sure I do, I’ll get going now, I need to rest” I’m tired.
