Kylie sat on the bed with her legs covered while Charlie read her a story.

Charlie wanted to do everything for her since she was pregnant but after the pregnancy, it’s game over.

Kylie became rude and more wicked because she has an evil baby growing in her womb.
The evil baby’s venom added with her own is able to kill the Specie.

“That’s enough. The story is boring. I’m feeling sleepy already” Kylie said and pushed herself into under the bed spread and covered her eyes.

Charlie closed the book and helped her with the bed cover.
“Good night sweet heart” he said and kissed her forehead.

Charlie closed the door and went to his own chamber.
He threw the book on the floor and took off his jacket.

“Less than a month is left for my child to be born. Finally, I’ll leave this horrible place” he murmured and walked his naked body to the bathroom.

Madison entered into Cindy’s house and threw her back on the sofa.
“What are we doing for the project?” She asked as she sank into the sofa with her bag.

“I don’t know. I was thinking about doing some ancient craft, what do you think?” Cindy asked.

“History is a boring subject for me. You just do whatever you want to do” Madison replied.

“I was thinking about making a dragon. It’s not ancient though but that’s the way Chinese celebrate their new year” Cindy added, flipping through pages.

“Argh! I just wish Kylie was here”

Cindy heard that word and closed the book, placing it on the table.
“I miss her also but the last time we saw her was when we found out she was pregnant. It’s less than a month left for her to give birth to her child” she said.

“Whatever, we’ll think of something tomorrow. I’m tired” Cindy said and walked away from the sitting room.
She went to her room and laid down to sleep.

Madison didn’t leave the house, she laid down in the sitting room and dozed off there.

Kylie was in front of the cracked mirror combing her long brown hair.
She couldn’t dye it anymore nor cut it.

As she combed it, she stared at her huge stomach that grew every seconds.

Immediately, she saw some flashes. It affected her that the comb fell from her hand.
She started to pant hard, wishing to see the flashes again.
She saw herself crying but she didn’t know why.

There was a knock on the door. She knew it was Charlie.

“Come in” she said.

Charlie walked in with a tray that was filled up.
“Good morning sunshine” he greeted, wearing a fake smile on his cute face.

Kylie stared at him and smiled back.
She went to the bed and started eating her breakfast.

“The baby needs blood” she suddenly said.

Charlie swallowed hard.
“Sure, I’ll find something for the baby during nightfall” he said.

Kylie dropped her spoon.
“Why not now? I mean, go find something now”

“It’s hard to find a prey when it’s morning. Besides, humans will be wondering round the forest now”

Kylie smirked.
“I know you don’t like when it’s morning or should I say, when it’s sunny. What’s your problem with it actually?” She asked.

Charlie stood up.
“Make sure to eat your food” he said and left.

Kylie wished she could figure out what he had in mind.
She placed her hand on her stomach and left the cave.

The baby really needed blood.
She could figure that out since she was the one carrying the child.

She walked slowly in the woods, sniffing in if she could see any animal.

She got tired and sat beside a tree.
She could perceive an animal smell but she couldn’t stand up.

“Hey kylie!”
She turned and saw Diego.

Kylie sighed and rolled her eyes.
“I should have known it was you” she said.

Diego sat beside her, staring at her.
“I see you are tired”

“Don’t talk to me Diego” she replied harshly.

“Fine then, do you need anything?” He asked as he stood up.

Kylie really wanted blood for the baby.
“I guess I do” she replied.

Kylie went back to the cave after Diego helped her with some catch.
She was filled up, so as the baby.

Charlie was angry that Kylie left without informing him.

As Kylie entered her chamber, Charlie followed her behind.

“Why did you leave without informing me? You got me worried!” He said.

Kylie neglected his question. She just walked to the bed and tried to rest.

“I’m talking to you Kylie”

“I don’t want to talk to you jerk! If you would have done the right thing by hunting for me, I wouldn’t have left the cave” she yelled in reply.

“That doesn’t matter. You should have told me you were leaving” he growled.

Kylie turned away from him, not wanting to see his face.

Charlie fummed out of her room.

“Welcome Diego” Elina greeted her unexpected visitor.

“Thanks Elina, why are the witches still scared of me? I’m not going to kill them or anything” Diego folded his arm.

“We still have to stay protected. Anything can happen at any f*cking time. Sometimes I even imagine Kylie walking into the hangout with the Specie to kill everyone of us”

“Speaking of Kylie, guess who I met at the forest today?” He asked.

“Tell me” Elina replied.

“I met Kylie at the forest. She was looking so weak and tired”

“How’s her baby?” She asked quickly.

“She’s still pregnant. We chatted for some time though”

Elina sat down opposite Diego.
“Tell me everything she told you”

“Okay? She said that her mate refused to hunt for her. The baby needed blood. She spoke about some other things. And yes, she would give birth to her baby this month”

“Yes, we know that. I hope she delivers safely. Everyone is worried about her. Even Robby never came here after he found out that his daughter was pregnant for a monster”

Diego sighed and leaned back on the chair.
“I understand what he is passing through but I pity Kylie the most. She isn’t the one controlling herself. The venom in her is what is controlling her. With the child in her, she’s very powerful. But I have no idea if it’s powerful enough to kill the Specie”

Elina stood up and walked towards the shelf.
“Let’s just continue to see what happens next. I’m just glad that the Specie hasn’t attacked since then” She said.

“I’ll be leaving now. It’s Friday, the full moon will be out soon”

Elina laughed.
“I see you are having a tough time training your new members”

Diego smiled and walked away.

Elina sighed sadly. She also missed Kylie a lot.
Even Jasper missed her a lot. He had to leave town to get her out of his mind.

Elina shook the thought off her head and continued with what she was doing.

Few weeks later…
The due date for Kylie was also near.
She couldn’t leave her bed. She just sat there panting, sweating and breathing hard.

“Cha… Charlie!” She tried to yell.

“Argh!” She groaned in pain and squeezed her pillow.

Kylie was in pain. She could feel the baby coming out.

She laid on the bed with her legs wide open.
“Charlie!!!” She yelled again with all her strength but still no response.

“Hmmm!!!!” She pushed harder.

Charlie stood by the door, listening to Kylie as she groaned in pain.
This was the day he has been waiting for.

“Charlie! Ah!” She groaned again.

He angrily went to his room to pack somethings.
He would take off once the child has been born.

Kylie held the bed tight and pushed out the baby.
She felt the head has come out.

She took some deep breath and tried to push again.
She wondered where Charlie was. But that wasn’t what was in her mind, she just wished to be delivered of this baby so that she the pain and stress could be relieved.

Kylie jerk her head up and pushed for the last time.

At the sound of the baby crying, she fell back on the bed breathing hard.

She was all sweaty and tired but that won’t stop her from reaching her baby.

She slowly grabbed the baby and wrapped him with the bed sheet.
“It’s a boy” she said.

Kylie couldn’t wait to do everything that she has planned for the baby.
She grabbed a knife and cut the placenta.

“I’m sorry baby” she said, holding the knife.
When marked the baby with the knife, putting an X sign on his shoulder.

Charlie quickly ran into the room and saw blood all over the bed.
He slowed down as he got to the baby.

“It’s a boy” he said and wanted to reach the baby.

Kylie beat his hands off.
“You weren’t here to help me, so don’t touch him”

“I’m sorry my love. I wasn’t in the cave. I’ll go prepare some hot water for you to have your bath” he said and ran into the bathroom.

Kylie just stared at her baby and rocked him slowly.
He wasn’t crying at all.

“I never thought of giving birth to a monster child at a young age” she murmured.
