Chapter twenty four
“What”? Everyone was surprised.
“I haven’t k-ssed anyone and I want to do it badly”.
“You could ask Jane. I’m already in a relationsh¡p”.
“If not then you must drink a bottle of liquor as a punishment”.
“Yes Kelly. k-ss him or drink it”.
“k-ss! k-ss!! k-ss”!!!
“Really”. I stared at everyone. “Fine then”. I took the bottle and drank it all.
“Hey. That’s liquor is so strong”.
“I don’t care”. Few minutes later. “Hey”! I shouted. “What’s this place”? I got up drunkenly. “Wow. How did I get into the middle of an ocean”.
“She really lost it”. Alice sat me down. “Sit down and eat some chicken”.
“Ahh”!!! I scre-med. “Why are the chicken dancing”.
“She completely lost it. I’ll take her to her room”.
“I’ll do that”. Rhaegar got up and pulled me.
“Bad jerk”. I shouted.
“Let’s get you in”. He carried me in a bridal style. “You look cute”. He carried me in,side and laid me on the bed gently. I mo-ned softly turning around. He made to leave but I held him”.
“Stay with me”. I said half asleep. He smiled and laid beside me. “What are you looking at”?
“Nothing”.
“Do you really mean it when you said you want to k-ss me”.
“No”.
“Get out of my bed then”.
“Okay”.
“Don’t go please”. He smiled at me.
“You’re cute and pretty”. He touched my hair”.
“Mmmmmm”. I mo-ned closing my eyes a little. He stared at me and leaned forward.
“Good night”. Then he….
My scre-med echoed the building.
“No, no ,no. Nothing happened. Nothing happened”! I got out quickly. Rhaegar was seated outside listening to music. “Hey”. He removed his headset.
“Did you sleep well”. He smiled at me.
“Nothing happened between me and you last night”.
“Can’t say”. He laughed.
“What’s that about”? Oh Lord. Something did happened. “You pervert”!
“Ouch. That hurt”. He gro-ned in pain. There were tissues stuck in his nose to stop the bleeding. I didn’t even knew I hit him that bad. “I’ve never bled in my entire life”.
“I’m sorry”.
“It’s not like we did k-ssed. We were about to but we didn’t”.
“What do you mean”?
“Don’t you remember”?
**Flashback**
‘Don’t do it’ I said and stopped him.
‘Why’?
‘I don’t like it. I don’t want to cheat on Harrell’.
‘You must really love him’. I nodded. ‘Good night then’. He left.
“Ah. So we didn’t k-ssed”.
“And I got beaten up for it”.
“I’m sorry. What’s your relationsh¡p with Jane”.
“She’s a friend and a sister to me”.
“I don’t think she fit in that part. I mean she’s pretty and you’re both mean”.
“Are you gonna talk about Jane all day or get dressed”.
“Where are we going”?
“Party”.
People were dancing. I was in a short gown while Rhaegar wore jean with jacket. He used the hood to covered his head so as not to attract any attention from huge fans. We found a s₱0t to sit on. Jane walked towards us. Her gown were shorter than mine and much tighter that it revealed her curves. She was truly hot.
“You look beautiful tonight Jane”. Rhaegar compliment her.
“Thanks”. She smiled. She was right about Rhaegar. He love girls with big b-obs. I could see him smile whenever girls with big b-obs passes by. I hope Harrell isn’t like that also. He hasn’t been calling lately and I wondered why.
“Excuse me”. Jane left.
“You aren’t dancing”? Rhaegar asked.
“I don’t dance”.
“Oh that’s right. I could remember you breaking all my toes when dancing”.
“I told you I couldn’t dance”.
“Sure you did”.
“Excuse me”. I got up and left. I was outside calling Harrell but he wasn’t picking.
“Not picking”. It was Bayern.
“What do you want”?
“What do you think he’s doing that he wouldn’t pick his girl call”.
“Just shut up. I’m sure he’s quite busy. Why are you here anyway”.
“To make the prince remember his memories. My instinct told me something bad is about to happened”.
“Your instincts are always wrong”.
“I think Lamina is back”. I stared at him. He’s in danger now especially when he doesn’t remember anything”.
“I don’t want him to die and I don’t think I can kill anyone”.
“Lamina isn’t anyone. She’s__”.
“I know. Look I’ve to go”.
“Sure”. I left.
“What took you so long”? He asked as I sat.
“I ran into a friend of mine”.
“Wanna drink”?
“Yes and you”?
“I don’t drink”. He ordered a drink for me and a water for himself. I poured out a cup and drank.
“You’re really a strong drinker. Just don’t get drunk”.
“Maybe a little. I need to go”.
“Where”?
“I’m going to dance”.
“I thought you don’t dance”.
“There is always a first time for everyone”. I left. I was admist of people dancing. This guy was trying to take advantage of me. He held my wa-ist. “Stop”. I jerk his hand away and he smiled.
“Come on”. He hugged me tightly. I struggled with him. “Why don’t we go outside and finished it”. He laughed and start to pull me. Luckily, Rhaegar was on time to interfere.
“Let her go”.
“Who the hell are you”?
“She’s my girl”. He took my hand. “Let’s go”. He pulled me out.
“Wait a minute”. He stopped. “I…I….”. I threw up and coughed.
“Here”. He hand me a bottle of water with handkerchief.
“Thanks”. I washed my face and cleaned it. I was now sobered.
“You didn’t drank much. I wonder why you got drunk”.
“Don’t know”.
“Let’s get refresh”. He pulled me into a room. There was a big pool in it.
“Hum….I can’t swim”.
“I can help you”.
“I’m not fully sobered. I can sink anytime”.
“Just get dressed”. He pushed me in,side the dressing room. “I’ll be waiting”. After some minutes, I got out with my swimming clothes. The pool was full of others.
“You look good”. Alice said. “Come on let’s swim”.
“When did you get here”?
“Just a while. Rhaegar called us here”.
“Where’s he”?
“He’s in own private pool there”. She showed me the way.
“Thanks”. I left and entered. Rhaegar was swimming. I closed the door gently. “I thought you wanted to teach me how to swim”. He stopped and stared at me.
“You’re here”. He got out of the pool and walk towards me. Water was dripping over his body. “I thought you weren’t interested since you spent much time in the dressing room”. He took a towel and cleaned his body. “Turned around”.
“Why”?
“Unless you want me to undress in front of you”.
“Fine then”. I turned around.
“You can look now”. I turn. He was fully dressed. “I’m quite busy now. I’ve music to write”. He sat and start pressing his phone.
“Then I’ll leave”.
“You can swim if you want to. Use the float”. He passed me the float. “I’ll look after you”.
“Okay then”. I sat on the edge of the pool with my leg in,side the water. “You sure it’s safe”.
“Yes”. He kept pressing his phone.
“Here I go”. I put the float in the water and jump. “Wow”. I said removing my head out of the water. “That was good”.
“Glad you like it”. He put on the music.
“Which type of music are you writing”?
“I haven’t written the lyrics yet. Just working on the beat”.
“I…”. His phone rang.
“Hello”. He left. I was alone. I kept playing in the pool. Suddenly, the float busted.
“Oh Lord”. I was sinking. “Help please”! I shouted. No one could hear because the music was on. “Hel….”. I swallowed a mouthful of water. “He….”. I was now under the water. Am I gonna die for real this time? This was no dream. I was going down for sure. I couldn’t talk. My eyes were fixed to where I was going until I saw an angel trying to rescue me. It was Rhaegar. I shut my eyes.
“Hey”. I was outside. “Kelly wake up”. I coughed gasping for air.
“I’m fine”. I sat upright.
“I thought you were gone”. He pulled a towel over me. “Come here”. He hugged me and stroke my hair.
“What the hell are you two doing”? We broke free. It was Jane. “You two….”.
“It’s nothing”. Rhaegar went to meet her. “We got to talk”. He pulled her out. I wrapped the towel around my body.
I’d vouch for myself that I wouldn’t go near the pool again. At last, I was on date with Harrell. He’d gotten there earlier I was wearing jeans with a jacket. I pulled the hood over my head so no one would recognize me.
“Hey”. I smiled at him.
“What’s with the hood”?
“I don’t want people to see me. I’m quite famous now”.
“I don’t care”. He pulled me hood down. “All I want is to be with my girl”.
“Okay”. I smiled. “So where should we go”?
“Shopping”. He pulled me in,side his car. He entered and drove. We were at the mall. “I want you to look your best for me. I don’t mean natural”.
“So you want me to wear makeup”.
“Just look your best for me”. He hand me to the workers. “Take good care of her”. After all the dressing, hairstyling, cosmetic. I was through. I stepped out with a short black tight gown. I was wearing heels with my hair done in it best way. Harrell couldn’t talked. His eyes were fixed on me.
“Do you like it”? I asked but he didn’t answered. Looks like he was still inspecting me.
“Harrell”. He was back to normal.
“Oh. Yes. It’s good”.
“Really? I really don’t like it. The gown is too short and my face seems heavy”. He laughed.
“Here”. He hand his card to the workers and paid for everything. He walked towards me. “Wow. I can’t believe this is really you. I mean you look…..I don’t even know what to say”. He smiled at me. “Let’s go”. He led me out. I could swear that all eyes were on me as I stepped out. Harrell smiled at the sight of it.
“So where are we heading to”? He sat me in the car.
“Vegas”. He entered and start the car. “I’ve unfinished business to do”. He drove off. We arrived Vegas during the sunset. He parked in front of my house. “Wait here. I’ll be back”. He left. I brought out my phone and start chatting with MJ. She was so curious about our date. After some minutes, he came out. “I hope I didn’t took long”.
“So where next”?
“We’re going for dinner”. We left. Actually, it’s was his mom restaurant. He led me in,side and sat me on the chair. “What should we order”?
“Why’s no one here”?
“Mom leave it for us”. He called the chef and ordered for both of us. It was brought and we start to eat.
“I love you”. He said.
“I know you do”.
“No. You don’t know what I mean”. He held my hand. “I love you. I mean I truly love you. I can go to any length just because of the love I’ve for you”. He brought a box out. OMG. Don’t tell me he’s going to propose. I was already blushing. What am I gonna say. “I madly want you to be mine. I want you to bear our children but…” There were tears in his eyes. “I can’t”. He cried.
“Wait”? I was confused. “What do you mean”?
“Let’s break up Kelly”.
