Lily sit quietly while miss Clara keep on telling her what concubines are meant to do ” you live for Lord Mammon alone lily, no other man but him should touch you ”
” But miss Clara “I mumble “I also have the right to choose who I want right, I have the right to fall for anyone I wish for ”
” Is this about Lord Ruskin lily ” miss Clara stand up from her chair, shut the room door then stare at me with disappointment ” lily, the rumors going on about you and the young Lord is true?”

” It is rumored that you are sleeping with him, you went to his chamber yesterday right ”
” How did you…..”
Miss Clara cut me shut ” haven’t you heard the saying that ‘ walls also have ears’ what you did will bring shame to Lord Mammon”
” I don’t understand miss Clara, I mean I am not Lord Mammon wife ”
” Yes “miss Clara nod ” what do you think people will say about a king that can’t control his own concubine but pan to control a country ” after she was done speaking, I realized how I have messed up my reputation and the lord’s ” lily, do you think Lord Ruskin is really interested in you, all these rumors moving around…..who is the cause for them ”

” Have you ever sit to wonder what it is he want from you, why he is so interested in in a concubine?” Shaking my head, she move closer and smile down at me ” I know, you weren’t taught important things but that shouldn’t be make you a fool lily, surely you should be able to think, not all good looking food taste nice ”
” You’re right miss Clara ” nodding my head, I look up at her ” I promise to stay away from Lord Ruskin but ” standing to my feet I swallow” I will like to leave the palace tonight, with visitors coming in for the ball, it’s a great opportunity for me to go out of the palace ”

“I know miss Clara, is dangerous but I want to see, I want to see the world, everywhere around…..all I know is this palace”
” Will you return ”
I shake my head ” I don’t want to miss Clara ” sitting back on the bed I mumble ” I want to be far away from the lord Mammon and Lord Ruskin”
” I hope you succeed lily but if you don’t, beg the king for forgiveness”
” I will ” standing right back to my feet I move out of miss Clara room, moving around the palace, the decorations already started in the main hall, I do remember that Lord Ruskin ask me to be his plus one.
That will be cancelled.
” Lily ” turning my gaze to where that voice is coming from I frown because no one is there, just a wall, a weird looking wall which am sure has always been here ” lily” the voice drag my name in form of a song.
Stepping back I fasten my steps away from the servant quarters to the main palace, my gaze move to the main hall, I look around, different maids working which means am not alone, that voice must be nothing.
I must be hearing things because I haven’t taken bath or eaten today ” little lily ” Lord Mammon called for the third time before I jerk out of my thoughts and realize am blocking the way.
” Forgive me milord ” he nod at my apologies and walk away with some guests the moment I gave way, usually the king will try talking to me but it looks like he is really busy, I mean he is hosting the first ball of the year after all.
Moving to my room, I shut the door then decide to take my bath, which was a slow and hot bath, after that I apply lotion to my skin then pull out one of the dress in the closet, orange colour, not too long nor short, hands covered but cleavage on display.
All the dress in here seem expensive but none can be used to a ball, well it isn’t like I be wish to go anyway.
Sitting down next to the mirror, I take off the towel I use to roll my hair but before I could do anything, a hand stop me from moving further, I had no idea when he step in.
” Lord Ruskin!” Standing to my feet, I turn around and stare at him ” you shouldn’t be here ”
” Why not lily ”
” This will only ruin Lord Mammon reputation, am his concubine, not yours…..you shouldn’t be stepping in my room freely ”
He frown, he look rather confused ” I thought we were okay last night ” he step closer and I step back ” don’t tell me Lord Mammon put all these foolish thoughts in your head lily ”
” He didn’t ” I growl” am mature to know good and right ” this however made him chuckle which have me confused as to why he is laughing.
” Lily” he shake his head ” you think Lord Mammon is better than I am??? You think am the bad guy here?” I watch him growl ” I love you lily, why do you think I will stoop so low to court a concubine…. don’t I also have a reputation to protect?” He step closer ” why do you think I keep pouring attention on you, why do you think I keep begging another man concubine to become mine!!” When he gr0-n the last part I tense up but Lord Mammon voice interrupt me from speaking.
” And you think you’re doing something right?” Lord Mammon step in, looking all angry ” touching what’s mine means death, I thought I warn you ”
” Forgive me Lord Mammon ” Lord Ruskin gaze move to meet Mammon’s ” you do not fancy her but I do, I will be delighted if you will sell her to me ”
” I humbly decline ” Mammon grab my arm and pull me to his side, I couldn’t help but to watch how he speak ” this is your last night here Lord Ruskin, tomorrow sunrise, I want you out of my kingdom ”
” That’s rather harsh milord ”
” You deserve every bit” Lord Mammon frown ” now get out of this room “I watch Ruskin walk away with anger, mammon gaze move down to stare at me ” come, I will brush your hair ”
” Oh no milord ” I gasp ” a king mustn’t ”
” Sit down lily ” doing as he said, I watch him through the mirror, how to he carefully brush my hair with all his attention and seriousness but am still left wondering why he love my presence.
“Milord ”
” Hmmm”
“Is they anyone you fancy ”
He nod and my curiosity grow ” who is it milord”
” Levine” he mumble calmly ” I fancied Levine”
” Where is she?”
” Heaven”
” She is dead?”
” No”
” You’re pulling my be legs aren’t you “frowning I watch him shrug before leaning close, he place his face on my shoulder, inhaling my scent ” you smell like rose, black rose ”
” Black rose?”
He nod then whisper ” it smells nice lily, that must be why I wish to eat you ” after that he literally bite my ear which got me scared.
Am going to die, am literally going to get eaten because of how good I smell….it makes no sense!!

Lord Mammon withdraw back, her expression on the mirror is that of horror, she is scared ” lily?” I watch her stand up to her feet slowly, turn around then shake her head .
” No milord, I do not smell nice ” she swallow ” so please don’t eat me ” I watch her fall to her knees, Bowing her head ” I promise to stay away from Lord Ruskin and be yours only ”
” Be mine?”
” Yes milord ” she mumble not knowing what does words mean ” only yours, will only think and touch only you ”
” Hmmm” bending to her level I mumble ” lift your head silly ” I watch her do exactly as I said, lifting my hands close to her face, I touch her cheek gently ” you really know nothing”
” Milord?”
” Lord Mammon lily ” I smile and her eyes w¡den, the reason why they did still confuse me but I mumble on ” that’s what you should call me when we’re alone ”
” Milord ” she lean close ” your smile was real…..not fake”and then it hit me, it was really real, I had no hærd time doing it” show me again!” She look so excited, so excited that she didn’t realize how close she has gotten to my space.
Our face practically an inch apart ” do you wish for me to k!$s you lily?” I watch how her cheek slowly redden but she didn’t move back, I watch her moist her l-ips then avert her gaze to my hands which are on the floor.
” Maybe ” she mutter then look back at me ” am curious milord, I want to know things, feel things, I want……” She lick her l-ips one more time, not knowing what that does to me ” I want to feel it again, the taste of your l-ips ”
” Who taught you all these words lily” I growl already planning to kill that bastard, lily is meant to be naive little girl that knows nothing of this world or love making either…..that was why I told miss Clara to teach nothing to lily, absolutely nothing.
” I saw them in some pages of books laying around ” she smile ” I don’t really know how to read properly but I will love to learn ” nodding my head I stand to my feet so did she.
” Get ready for the ball lily ”
” Why milord ”
” You will be my plus one ” she quickly shake her head, she seem scared and not ready to go into that place.
” No milord, anything but that, if that is to happen ” she cover her mouth ” your queens and concubines will wish for my death ”

” You do not get milord” she looked more serious as she mumble, I watch how her l-ips part and for some reason it seem like she is s-ducing me, why am I seeing things when this girl is around.
I mean she is an eyesore, right?
” Lord Mammon” she called my name and I jerk out of my my thoughts, anger registered on her face “you weren’t listening ”

” All I said was that you won’t be with me forever ”
“What do you mean ”
“You do not fancy me milord” she mumble calmly, usually when one of my concubines say such things, you will see sadness in their eyes indicating that they love you but with lily, she doesn’t look sad and for some reason it angered me ” I will like to be the invisible concubine”
I move close ” and yet only you call me by my name ” her eyes meet mine and I fake a smile which got her shaking her head.
” I want only real smiles milord ” am still yet to find out how she knows the difference ” it suit you better ” when she said that and smile, my chest for no reason made a sound more like a single beat which got me wondering why such will happen in the first place.
” Have a nice day lily ” withdrawing I wanted leaving but she stop me, her small hands holding mine, I turn around with a frown on my face but she just smile then lean close.
” You haven’t k!$sed me milord ” she move her head slightly to her left ” I want you to ”
” Why aren’t you shy ?” I frown ” all girls like you should be ”

” I was joking” I try pulling my hand out of hers but that made her to hug me, she really love touching me without permission.
” No” she shake her head ” do not make jokes like that ”

” Because ” she look up at me with full innocence and flushed face ” I want to know how it feels, I wish to know what it feels like to be embrace by a man” looking down at her, I watch those black eyes of hers fill with curiosity, eager to learn.
” You shouldn’t go around telling people such things ”
” But you’re not people ” she frown” you’re my Lord Mammon” that made her blush even more”I can only say such embarrassing things to you ”
” Good girl ” leaning close, I use my finger to rob her l-ips gently, I could feel her heart beat increase ” open your mouth lily “she did as I said ” being out your tongue ” I watch her slowly did what I told her to do.
I on the other hand didn’t hesitate to lean close, my tongue touching hers before closing our mouth together, she lean close and m0-n, my hands move lower to her arse, grabbing and massaging them while her m0-n increase but before I could do more, the door open making shy lily jump out of my arms.
My gaze travel to meet the bastard baron but when it did I know something wrong has happened ” code red milord ”

Lily heart will not stop beating, k!$sing is magnificent, is this how you feel whenever such things occur? Are they more feelings to encounter along the way? I really wanted to ask him what he meant by eating me and what black rose signify.
Sitting on the bed I frown when I heard my name, this is the third time the wall is speaking ” lily come to me ” standing up I look around, no one is there, am alone in my room so why am I hearing things.
When I move to the door, I realized it won’t open, like am locked in ” no more hiding lily, pay for thy sins”this time around my heart beat from fear.
