~ Tatiana ~

“you know, I never stopped loving you ” Fernando said and I smiled.
“why did you marry Melanie ” I asked.
He made me lay down and he partly hovered over me.
“if was a mistake I promise, I was drunk and she took advantage of my drunken state and then it… It.. ” he paused and swallowed.
“you slept with her ” I completed and he closed his eyes.
“it was a mistake ” he said.
“then she got pregnant and I had to marry her but I never stopped loving you ” he said and I smiled.
“and I never gave her the role of a wife though I married her “he added.
He laid back on the bed and car-ssed my hair.
I missed him so much.

~ Leo ~

I stood in a room in the building where Melanie held Faye captive.
Yes I knew Melanie kidnapped her and I know she’d kidnap her so I stuck a tracking device to Faye’s hair.
I knew she wouldn’t be safe and I had to be smart.

Yeah smart enough to come here alone, good.
I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder and I twisted it to the back.
“it’s just me ” Brian said, wincing in pain.
“oh ” I breathed out.
“give me back my hand ” he demanded and I immediately let him go.
“how did you get here ” I asked.
“I stuck a tracking device behind Faye’s ear cause I knew she wasn’t safe ” he replied and I rolled my eyes.
“I knew there was someone else tracking her “I blurted out and he chuckled softly.
The last thing we want now is to screw up and let them catch us.
We watched as Melanie tortured Faye.
She pulled her hair and slapped her.
I felt angry at that and wanted to go there and beat the hell outta her but I kept my cool.
What’s my problem if she’s hurting her anyway.

Why am I even upset at it?
“remind me why we didn’t inform Lanna before coming here again” Brian asked.
“cause she’s busy with her long lost love ” I blurted out and he nodded.
“and Johanna ” I asked.
“she’s asleep and too tired to stay awake ” he replied.
“how should we take them out “Brian asked.
“if we shoot the guys from here, I’m afraid Melanie might shoot Faye ” I said.
“tell me, who were those guys that videoed my convo ” Melanie asked and Faye smirked.
“you do know we still have that video and we can use that to sue you for murder ” Faye said and chuckled.
“shut your mouth ” Melanie yelled and slapped her.
I took a deep breathe, calming the anger in me.

If Melanie dares slap her again, I won’t hesitate to shoot her right in the head.
“as long as the video is with them, you’d be with me. I’ll torture and make your life a living hell. Bring me the video and I’ll spare you ” Melanie seethed.
“common Melanie, you know you can’t kill me. Video or not, grandpa would skin you alive if he finds out about this ” Faye said with busted l-ips.
” yeah he will but he won’t find out ” Melanie assured.
There were two guys at the entrance, one behind Faye and the last one behind Melanie.
If we shoot them in the leg, they can still use their gun against us.
“I’m gonna go out there and call out to Melanie that I have the video and she’ll be forced to come out with some guards. Once she’s out, you handle the rest and escape with Faye. I’ll handle Melanie and the rest ” I said and he nodded.
“be careful ” he said.
I tiptoed out and got set to call her out.

I’m not even wearing a bullet proof.
“Melanie!! ” I yelled.
“Melanie ” I said in a sweet tone.
Thunder rumbled and it started raining.
I stood in front of her car with crossed leg and waited.
I was getting soaked in the rain.
She walked out with two guards with her gun with her.
I smile wryly as she walked up to me with the two guards.
I was harmless.
My gun was behind me, in my trouser.
“who are you ” Melanie asked.
“you have something I want with you ” I said.
“I want Faye “I blurted out.
The two guards were behind her.
I was calculating how I’d take them out without killing them.
“so I guess you have the video with you ” she said.
“how dumb are you? Don’t you think we’d still have the copy of the video even though we give you the original one ” I asked with a smirk.
She kept mute for a while, thinking I guess.

I sighted Brian behind them and he gave me a thumbs up.
Now it’s time to leave.
“throw it ” I said and signaled to someone behind Melanie.
There was no one behind her but I just said that so they could look behind and they did.
I quickly snatched her gun and held it to her head.
Those two guys pointed their gun at me while I held Melanie hostage.
“drop your guns ” I instructed.
They hesitated before dropping it.
“now turn around and move farther from us ” I commanded and they did.
Brian came and picked up the two guns then pointed it at Melanie too.
“what do you think we should do? Shoot her in the leg or eye?” I asked and Brian chuckled.

“don’t you ever lay your filthy hands on Faye ever again ” I warned calmly.
I pushed her off and we cat walked to the car.
“never kidnap someone with one gun ” I yelled as we boarded the car.
I sat at the front seat while Faye was behind.
My eyes met hers from the rearview mirror and I could see the hurt in her eyes.
Her l-ips were busted and her hair was messed up.
I quickly looked away and focus on the drive home.
Brian was the one driving.
We arrived home and alighted.
Brian walked up to his room and I headed to the stairs.
“thanks ” Faye said behind me and I stopped in my track.
“thank you for saving me” she said.
I sighed and went to my room without a word.

~ Faye ~

I went to my room and freshened up.
After dressing up in a night dress, I went to Lanna’s room.
I was so shaken from what happened and I needed her comfort.
I knocked on her door but got no response and after the third knock, I slightly opened the door.
She was on the bed with Fernando and I smiled.
They worked things out.
I smiled and imagined Leo and I in the same position.
I love Leo so much.
How can I make him fall for me?
I walked to my room and laid on my bed.
We’d talk on how to handle Melanie tomorrow.

~ Tatiana ~

I woke up the next day and freshened up.
Fernando did the same and we dressed up.
I sat in front of my dressing motor and styled my hair.
I could see the questions in Fernando’s eyes.
“spill ” I said and he sighed.
“do you really have to continue with this revenge of yours ” he asked and I flared up.
I can’t believe he’s really asking this.
“yes ” I blurted out.
“your family would pay, all of them ” I yelled.

He hugged me and patted my back.
“sshh it’s OK” he cooed.
“I’m not gonna let anything happen to you again, I’m gonna protect you with my life ” he whispered.
He pulled away and k-ssed me.
My phone rang and I picked it up.
It was doc Steve.
“yes tell me ” I said into the phone.
“The Buenevistas are already bankrupt, they’re begging me to save their son and they find a means to refund the bills ” he said and I smiled.
“good job, still leave him like that first. Tell them you’d save him ” I said.
“OK ” he said and I hung up.
Fernando and I headed downstairs and I was surprised to see Faye in the sitting room.
“she was kidnapped by Melanie so Leo and I went to her rescue ” Brian blurted out.
That bitch!
“Melanie” Fernando asked and we all gave one another a look.
“yes ” I said softly.
I signaled Brian and he nodded.
He switched on the TV and insisted the USB.

The video of Melanie came up and I watched the shock on Fernando’s eyes.
He almost lost balance but I caught him.
He sat on the floor and ran his hands through his hair.
A tear slid down his cheek and I felt pity for him.
I’m hurt that he’s hurt.
I hugged him and patted his back.
He took a deep breath and stood up.
He placed a soft k-ss on my forehead and walked out.
He’s so hurt but why?
Isn’t he happy that Myer isn’t his?
“I found your dad ” Brian blurted out.
“our dad ” Faye asked unbelievably and Brian faked a smile.
“he’s alive ” I said with a smile.
“yes he is, though he’s still under treatment but all the info on your dad fits his ” he said.
“Mr Gustavo Grande at Hilton hospital ” he blurted out.
“let’s go see him then ” I said and he nodded.
“first, let’s have breakfast and celebrate to it ” he said and I smiled.
Faye walked up to me and hugged me.
“I’ll get to see dad “she whispered and I sighed.
I feel so guilty.

~ Melanie ~

I can’t believe Fernando now knows Myer isn’t his.
And what’s he even doing there.
I can’t believe Lanna’s behind all there.
I’m actually watching their every move.
There’s a camera stuck in Faye’s necklace.
she loves wearing that necklace so I stuck it to it.
They think they’re the only smart ones?
I got up with my laptop and went to grandpa.
I showed him the video and he smiled.
“though you fooled my grandson but you’re smart ” he said.
“you and Fernando would settle your scores but we have to deal with this ” he said.
He called some of his guards and told them to go bring me Gustavo Grande at Hilton hospital.
I smiled and sat beside him.
After an hour, the guards came back with a man.
He was in a wheelchair with bandages all over his body.

“I thought Beatrice handled everything ” Grandpa asked.
“I did but don’t know how he survived ” Beatrice said and went to Mr Gustavo.
“if he didn’t die in the bomb them who did Fernando bury ” grandpa asked.
“now I get it ” Beatrice said.
“Philip was the one who died in the bomb. Remember after the bomb blast that I sent him to set, he never even returned to take his money and I thought he ran off but now I know. He must have still been in the house when the house blew ” Beatrice explained.
“anyway, how he survived isn’t my problem but now we have something against Tatiana ” grandpa said.
I could see the pain and confusion in Mr Gustavo’s eyes.
“as for Faye, we better take back the land ” grandpa said.

~ Tatiana ~

We were at Hilton hospital but the doc said my sad was already checked out.
I don’t know how that’s possible cause I didn’t.
My phone buzzed and I checked the message.
It was a photo of my dad.. He was seated on a wheelchair with bandages all over his body.
My phone rang and I picked it up.
It was Mr George.
“Lanna or should I say Tatiana ” I heard his cracking voice over the line.
“we have your lovely dad with us now and you know we won’t hesitate to kill him ” he blurted out.
Those devils.
