How the f-ck did they come to know about my dad?
Who the f-ck leaked out the info?
I looked at Brian and he understood my look right away then nodded no.
And how the hell did they even know I’m Tatiana?
Could it have been Fernando?
Or worse, do we have a traitor amidst us?
I boarded my car and Brian headed to the Buenevistas mansion.
I was so lost in thoughts that I didn’t realise when Brian arrived.
I looked around and noticed this wasn’t the Buenevistas mansion but our house.
“I told you to take me to the Buenevistas ” I seethed.

“look Lanna, I know your dad’s life is in danger but if you just go there unprepared, you might worsen things. We’ve gat to plan things first before taking a step ” Brian said.
“plan? My dad’s life is in danger for Pete’s sake and you want us to waste time in planning? I can’t afford to lose him, not again “I said with tears streaming down my cheeks.
He walked up to me and pulled me into his arms.
“you won’t loose him, I assure you. We just have to plan so no one gets hurt or killed ” he said softly and I sobbed in his arms.
I really don’t wanna loose my dad again, I’ve missed him so much and I can’t bear not to see him before anything happens to him.

Johanna, Brian, Leo and I were in the meeting room.
Faye already went back to the Buenevistas and she’s gonna find a way to give us info.
We all sat round the table, lost in thought as to what we’d do.
I’ve been calling Mr George but he wasn’t picking.
I wanted to go there but Leo and Brian wouldn’t let me saying they might have set a trap for me.
We’re just waiting for Faye to give us some info.

~ Faye ~

“where’s the family land doc-ment ” grandpa asked but I said nothing.
“we already know you’re on a game with Lanna or Tatiana and you aren’t our daughter so you better start talking before I blow up your head ” Mr George threatened.

Since they already know I’m not their daughter, there’s no need pretending anymore.
“well you’ve lost that land forever cause it’s now in my sisters name ” I blurted out.
I smirked at the look of confusion on their faces.
“your sister “Beatrice asked and I smiled.
“yes my sister, Lanna is my sister and you are in no way related to me ” I blurted out.
“where’s the family land doc-ment ” Mr George asked, anger clearly visible in his tone.

“it’s already in Lanna’s name and it’s with her ” I said boldly.
“guards ” Mr George called.
I knew what was next, they want to hold me hostage.
I wonder where Fernando is and this witch Melanie just kept smirking.
I made to run but one of the guard stuck out his foot and I tripped over.
They held me down and Mr George told them to take me away.
They took me to the backyard.
At the backyard was a bungalow and they took me in.
One of the guard squatted and opened the floor.
They have an underground house!
They climbed the stairs down and they threw me roughly on the floor.
One of them took a rope and tied my legs and hands.

They went back up and left me in the semi dark room.
Gosh! Now I’m so scared.
I know Lanna must be aware of all these cause they planted a com in my ear which I covered with my hair.
“Lanna, Lanna can you hear me ” I asked.
“yes Faye, we heard everything ” I heard in my ear and I smiled.
At least I’m safe, I trust my sister.
I sighted a wheelchair and I arched an eyebrow.
I could only see the back and there was someone sitting on it but I couldn’t see the person well.
Who could be here with me?
I got on my knee and leaped to where the wheel chair was.
I went to the persons front and I gasped at it.
His body was bandaged and part of his face was bandaged too but one could recognize him.

This is the man that Lanna showed me his picture.
He’s my dad, our dad.
“dad ” I called as tears welled up in my eyes.
His eyes were filled with confusion as he stared at me.
“dad it’s me, Faye your lost daughter ” I cried.
He kept mute staring at me.
I wanted to hug him but I didn’t wanna hurt him.
His body was bandaged and I don’t wanna worsen his pains.
I just smiled in tears and sat beside him.

“Lanna, Lanna can you hear me ” I asked but got no response.
“Lanna are you there ” I asked.
“she isn’t so keep shut ” I heard Leo’s voice.
Great! I don’t even know if he hates me.
I wonder if he’s still playing his game with Sasha cause they don’t even hang out a lot nowadays.
Maybe the game is over.

“Leo I really don’t know what I did to you, you sound like you hate me ” I blurted out.
I waited for him to speak up but he said nothing.
“we can really be close friends you know, I like you ” I said but got no response.
Great! Just great!.
“Leo, are you there ” I asked.
“Leo ” I called.
“look, I’m the only one stuck here to listen to your blabs. PS : important blabs so you better shut your mouth and only speak when you have something important to say ” he remarked and I kept mute.
I don’t want to get on his nerves.
“where’s Lanna” I asked.
“she’s coming to save your ass ” he blurted out and I rolled my eyes.
I trust my sister, she’s gonna save dad and I.

~ Lanna ~

Brian and I arrived at the Buenevistas mansion and alighted.
I already told Leo to contact Mr Juan and ask him if he’s ready to testify against the Buenevistas.
We transported Mr Juan and his family to our beach house so their life won’t be in danger.
I told Brian to track Faye while I went in.

I walked in and Mr George and Beatrice clapped.
“welcome welcome ” Beatrice cheered with a clap.
“where’s my dad ” I asked straight.
I sighted Melanie and Sasha working down the stairs.
“where’s my dad you monsters ” I asked in anger.
“he’s still alive I assure you ” Mr George said.
“give us back our land ” he demanded.
“and if I don’t ” I asked.
“consider your dad and sister dead ” Beatrice blurted out and I smirked.
Sister indeed.
“why? You want to sell the land to save your darling son cause you’re bankrupt ” I asked with a smirk.
“you’re right! I’d do anything to save my precious grandson even if it means killing your dad and sister ” Mr George said.

I just smiled cause I knew Brian would locate Faye.
Melanie and Sasha were just looking.
Melanie’s phone beeped and she peered at it.
“grandpa Faye’s tryna escape ” she blurted out.
How the hell did she know?
“don’t look at me like that, I stuck a camera to Faye’s necklace and it also serves as a tracker ” she blurted out.
Pinned! She was the one who must have told Mr George that I’m Tatiana.
“guards ” Mr George yelled.
“follow me ” he ordered and they ran out.
“they’re coming ” I said into the com connected to Brian’s.
I turned and followed them.

~ Brian ~

When I got to the place the tracker stopped, I knocked out the two guards and went into the house.
It took a while for me to discover there was an underground house.
I got down and saw Faye and Mr Gustavo.
Faye smiled when she saw me and I returned it though it was no time to smile.

I untied Faye and carried Mr Gustavo while Faye carried the wheelchair.
We were almost to the car when I heard “they’re coming ” from Lanna.
I quickly placed Mr Gustavo in the car and turned to run to Faye’s cause the wheelchair seemed heavy for her.
Before I could get to where she was, she was shot in the leg.
“not a step ” Mr George commanded and I stopped on my track.
Faye cried out in pain and fell to the ground.
Mr George and his 10 guards or so, pointed their guns at me and Faye.
“you think you’d escape just like that ” Beatrice asked.
“what’s going on here ” Sasha asked but no one answered her.
“search him ” Mr George commanded and one his guard walked to me.
I twisted his hand and snatched his gun then held him at gun point.
“drop your guns “I commanded and Mr George smirked.

“loosing just a guard is nothing ” he smirked and I thought it through.
Yeah he’s right, they don’t value lives except theirs.
I pushed the guard off and pointed the gun at Sasha.
“Ho Ho ” Melanie said, brought out a gun and pointed it at Lanna.
Beatrice brought out her gun and pointed it at me.
Mr George pointed his gun at Faye who was wincing in pain.
Lanna sighed, brought out her gun and pointed it at Faye too and everyone got confused.

The guards pointed their guns at us.
“don’t start the game yet ” Leo said as he walked up to us.
He brought out his gun and pointed it at Sasha too and she gasped.
“Leo ” Sasha breathed out, tears already streaming down her cheeks.
“you engaged my daughter ” Beatrice blurted out.
“well it was part of the game ” Leo blurted out.
“Lanna why are you pointing your gun at me? I’m your sister ” Lanna cried out.
“let’s get this straight here, I’m not your sister, you’re a Buenevista. You’re their lost daughter but I just used you again your own family to get my revenge. I mean how dumb are you all? The DNA results says it all plus the birth mark she has, gullible fools ” Lanna blurted out.

Mr George and Beatrice gave each other a look then looked back at Faye who was already loosing blood cause her own grandpa shot her.
Regret was clearly visible in Mr George’s eyes cause he shot his own daughter.
Hurt was etched all over Faye’s face as she stared unbelievably at Lanna.
Sasha gave Leo the same look cause he used her.
Now this is the real definition of B. U. S. T. E. D.
