At seven Pm,the house has been well and beautiful decorated with balloons and flowers,table well decorated with drinks,food and cake,guests started coming in for the party, Princess’s eyes never ceased to go out from the entranceway hoping to see uncle Bryan,Anne noticed that her eyes has been at the door,she walked up to her and asked,

“Are you okay Princess? I noticed your eyes has been on the door”

She smiled and said,
“Yes am fine Aunty Anne,am actually waiting for my guest”

She smiled and sounded,
“Wow your guest! Who could that be? because I know that your friends at the school won’t be able to attend a party by this time”

She smiled and answered her,
“You will get to see the person Aunty Anne”

“Okay,let me go and welcome the guests”
She said and went out.

“Why is he not here? Could it be that he will not come or what? or did Mom asked him not to come? Nope I doubt it Mom won’t do that”
She thought sadly still starring at the door.

Few minutes later, Bryan stepped in, Princess saw him and rushed to welcome him with so much joy.

“Welcome Uncle Bryan,I thought you won’t come”
She said with smiles.

“Why won’t I not? I don’t turn down invitations especially a kid’s invitation”
He said with smiles.

She said with smiles,
“Come and meet my Mom”
She held his hand as they walked to see the mother.

“Mom Uncle Bryan is here”
Princess sounded with joy.

“Happy Birthday Mrs Pearl”
He said to her with smiles.

“Thank you,please make yourself comfortable”
She said with smiles.

“Who is that cute guy? He’s definitely not Pearl”s brother because he is not in town,who could he be? I will soon find out who that cute guy is”
Anne thought as she stared at them.

The party begin,they sang for her as she cut the cake,they cheered together for her new age,her friends, neighbors presented their gifts to her.

Bryan went to her and gave her his gift,
“Happy Birthday once again Mrs Pearl”
He smiled with smiles.

“You shouldn’t have bother with this”
She said and collected the gift.

“I can’t come to a birthday party with nothing”
He sounded with smiles.

she thanked him with smiles,
“Okay thank you Bryan,I appreciate,let me attain to my other guest over there”
She pointed at her guest”s direction.

“For sure!
Pearl walked out to see her guest.

Anne’s attention has been them and when she noticed Pearl has left she decided to find who the cute guy is,she walked to him and said,
“You meant be?
He asked Bryan with smiles.

“Am Bryan!.
He answered with smiles.

“Bryan! I don’t know Pearl have a cousin brother by that name”
She sounded confusingly.

Bryan smiled and said,
“Am not her cousin,am her new neighbor”

“Oh I see! You look so cute thou!
She winked at him and smiled.

Bryan responded shyly,
“Thank you!

“I hope you are enjoying the party?
She asked.

“For sure!
He answered with smiles.

“Okay,I will chat with you later”
She said and just about to leave Bryan called back her attention.

“I didn’t get to know your name Miss”
He said with smiles.

She turned back and answered him,
“Am Anne, Pearl’s best friend”

“Nice to meet you Anne”

“It’s my pleasure to meet you too Bryan,I will chat with you later”

“Okay Anne!

Within an hour the party was over all the guests went back to their Individual apartments and houses.

“Thank you Uncle Bryan for coming to my Mom’s birthday party”
Princess thanked him with smiles.

“It’s nothing Princess”

“Now that we are neighbors I hope we will be seeing often?
She asked.

“For sure,anytime you need me just come we are just next door”
He said.

“Okay Uncle Bryan,Good night see you tomorrow morning”

“Good night too you Princess,tell your Mom that I had a nice day on her birthday party”

“I will definitely do that Uncle Bryan”
She see her off from the door,he wishes her good night again before entering into his apartment.

“Pearl why didn’t you tell me about your new cute neighbor?
Anne asked.

“He packed in today”

“Wawoo! And you invited him to the partyq already?
She sounded with smiles.

“I didn’t invite him,Princess invited him”

She nodded her head and said,
“Oh I see so he was the guest Princess was waiting for,you know he is damn cute and s×xy”

“Hmmmmh! I didn’t know”

“How will you know? Did you know what am thinking?

“What will you possibly think if not silly thing?

She laughed,
“Hear the silly thing first,this your neighbor thing with this Bryan meant lead to something r-mantic,I can see the r-mantic love story written on the world between Pearl and the cute Bryan”
She sounded winking at her with smiles.

She gave her a silly laugh,
“If you are dreaming you better wake up because it won’t gonna work okay so stop dreaming about the r-mantic love story”

She laughed and said,
“Let wait and see how this neighbor thing will turn to love”

“Nothing will happen Anne,are you not going or are you going to spend the night here?

“I will like to spend the night because am so so tired but I can’t I have some files I need to submit tomorrow at the office and you know how our Boss used to be nah,I don’t that his wahala”
She sounded with sigh.

Pearl sighed and said,
“So arrogant and bossy behaving like he owes the company”

Anne hugged her and said,
“My dear good night,we will see tomorrow nah”

“Okay dear,drive safely”
She see her off from the door,she locked the door.

She carried Princess who was deep in sleep to her room,she lay her down on the bed covered her the duvet.

In the morning,Pearl got prepared for work while Princess prepared for school,they went downstairs to got into their car,they met Bryan washing his car.

“Good morning Mrs Pearl!
He greeted with smiles.

“Morning Bryan,how was your night?
She asked with smiles.

“My night was good all thanks to you for the awesome party”
He said with smiles.

Pearl smiled without saying anything,Princess greeted him,
“Good Morning Uncle Bryan!

“Morning Princess! Set for school?
He asked with smiles.

“Yes Uncle Bryan”
She answered with smiles.

“Okay! see you after school”

“Uncle Bryan I hope you won’t mind getting a hug from me?
She asked.

Pearl looked at her confusingly and thought,
“What’s this kid up to?

“Why not? Come here”
She rushed and hugged him so tight.

“See you after school”

“Okay bye!
She waved at him as they got into the car.

“Baby I don’t understand your behavior since yesterday the new neighbor packed in”
Pearl said.

“Mom am just being nice to our neighbor”

“But you are being over nice to him,you even asked him for a hug”

“Mom I like him that’s why I ask for the hug and I want him to be our friend,I hope you won’t mind making him our friend?
She said.

“We barely know him we can’t be friends with him just like that okay”
She said trying to make her to understand.

“Okay Mom, we are now at my school”

“Take care of yourself my Princess”
She said and pecked her on the forehead.

“Okay Mom,I love you”

“Love you too Princess”

She came down from the car as she watches her going in,side the school as usual and drove out at the moment the gateman shut the gate.

📞 Good Morning Sir!

📞 Morning Pearl,how are you doing this morning?

📞 Am fine Sir!

📞 Okay,I want you to bring the contract file to my office”

📞 Okay Sir,I will bring it right away”

📞 I will be waiting”
He ended the call.

Pearl searched for the file,she found it and took it to his office,she knocked.

“Yes! come in”
He said.

She went in,side and greeted,
“Good Morning Sir!

“Beautiful Pearl how are you doing?
He asked with smiles.

“Am fine Sir,I brought the file”
She gave him the file and about to leave he called her back,

“Don’t be in a hurry Pearl”
He stood up and walked to her.

“I want to make an offer to that will benefit you so well”
He said with smiles.

“Okay Sir!

“You know I have ever liked you since you joined this company and you know this your s×xy curvy body always drives me crazy that am dying to have you as my s×xy babe,if you accept to be mine I will promote you and you know promotion always comes with huge salary,I will double the salary twice, how did you see about my offer?

Pearl gave him a disgusting look and said,

He smiled and said,
“This is a huge offer am giving you, your colleagues are dying to have such an offer and you are turning it down”

“Sir you can give it to my colleague am not interested”

“I don’t want them,you are the only one that drives me crazy that’s why am giving you this offer,I know once you sleep over it you will like the offer so I want you to think about it and get back to me tomorrow”
He said winking at her.

“Okay Sir!

He said,Pearl used the door.

The useless MD stood there smiling so foolishly dreaming a dream that will never come to pass,

Jenny said.

She sounded.

“You are not a Dad_ less child and we have not seen your Dad before not even at the parents school meeting nor any of our graduation”
Esther said.

“I have a Dad,my Mom is my parents she is my Daddy too”
She proudly said.

Jenny and Esther gave her a silly laugh that got her confused.

“What are you two laughing about?
She asked confusingly.

“How can your Mom be your Dad? In which planet dose a Mom be a Dad?
They both questioned her.

“Yes my Mom is my Daddy,she is the one that brought me into this world so she is my Dad”
She said.

“See let me tell you Princess every children have a Daddy,I have a Daddy and Jenny also have a Daddy too”
Esther said.

“Yes Princess,we all have a Daddy so must have a Daddy unless your Daddy is dead”
Jenny made it clear to her.

“My Mommy told me that am a gifted child that came out from her womb so my Mommy is my everything both my Dad”
She believed the story her mother told her.

Jenny and Esther made her to understand that there’s no how a child be born into this world without a father.

“Princess I must say that your Mom lied to you,have you forgotten what our science teacher told us today that a family is made up with Father and Mother and children”
Esther said.

“Princess stop believing your mother’s story about how you came to this world there’s no how a child will be born without a father your mother is not v×rgiπ Mary the mother of Jesus so if I were you I will ask my mother who my father is”
Jenny said.

Nawa for this kids ooo! they are something else behaving and thinking like an adults, Princess’s smartness didn’t make her to think otherwise since she has already believed the story her mother told her but now her friends has made her to realized that she must have a Daddy,she couldn’t stop thinking about it and wonder why her mother lied to her and made her to believe she have no father.

She greeted without smiles.

She asked.

She answered and got into the car.

“Are you sure you are okay? Did someone bully you at the school?
She asked.

Pearl feel so uncomfortable with her daughter’s quietness,
“This is unlike my Princess,something must has happened at the school but I don’t why she is telling me about it”
She thought,she keep glancing at her daughter’s sad face.

They got to the house,she didn’t say anything to her Mom she went up to her room to change.

“What’s wrong with my Princess? Why is she so sad like this?
Pearl said being so worried.

Princess came down and said to her,
“I need to talk to you Mom”

“What is it my Princess? What happen at the school today?
She asked.

“Mom why did you lied to me about my Dad? Why did you told me that I only came out from your womb without a father? Who is my Dad?
She shouted angrily and her question shocked her.
