“Mom why did you lied to me about my Dad? Why did you told me that I only came out from your womb without a father? Who is my Dad?
She shouted angrily and her question shocked her.

“What are you saying? You are my daughter you don’t have any father”
She said trying to convince her but she seems not to buy the convince anymore.

Princess became more angry with her lies,
“Stop! Stop it Mom! Stop lying to me,I know I have a father there’s no how I will be born on this world without a father that’s not possible Mom, since I was four you made me to believes your lies that I came from your womb without a father but I have come to realized that there’s no how a child will form with a father and my friends have their father then why can’t I have a father so enough of the lies and tell me who my father is”
She shouted angrily and Pearl couldn’t believe her daughter anymore,she have never seen that side of her before,she was so shocked of her reaction and don’t know how to convince her again nor even know what to say to her.

“Stop being silent on me Mom,I need to know who my father is,tell me who my father is right now”
She cried out.

Pearl can’t control her reaction anymore and shouted,
“Did you what to know who your father is?

“Tell me who my father is right now?
She shouted in tears.

“Your father is no anymore,your father is a bastard a selfish human being your father hate you he don’t want you that’s why he left, that’s who your father is”
She voiced out in anger.

Princess cried out and ran outside to the back of the compound and sat down on the swing sobbing bitterly.

“Could it be true that my father don’t want me and he left because of me? But how can a father hate his child?
She said while sobbing.

Bryan saw her from his balcony crying,
“Is that not princess? Why she is crying? Where is her mother”
He said being so confused,he went down to see her.

“What is it Princess? Why are you crying? where is your mother?
He asked holding her hands,she couldn’t say anything.

“Stop crying and talk to me,Did something happen to your Mother?
He asked.

“No Uncle Bryan is not my mother”
She said while sobbing.

“Then what is it? Why are you sobbing like this?
He asked being more confused.

“Uncle Bryan is it possible for a father not to like his child?
She asked still in tears.

“Why did you ask Princess?
He asked and wiped out her tears with his palms.

“Just answer me Uncle Bryan”

He thought about the question before giving her an answer,
“No! A father can’t hate his child, Children are blessing from the Lord so why should a father hate his child?

“Then why did my mother lied to me? Why did she like to lie to me all the time?
She asked in tears.

He wiped her tears and said,
“Stop crying okay,your mother can’t lie to you”

“But she did Uncle Bryan,I have been living a lie from her since when I was four that I don’t have a father that I came from her womb but I have come to realized that there’s no how a baby will be form without a father then when I confronted my Mom a while ago she lied me again she told that my father don’t want me he left because of me”
She cried out.

He sat on the swing and carried her,he car–sing her hair consoling her,
“Stop crying Princess,your mother must have a good reason for saying that to you”
He wiped out her tears and calmed her down few minutes later she slept off.

Pearl came downstairs to find her,she went at the back of the compound and met her on Bryan’s arms,she went to them.

“Oh my Princess!
She sounded.

“She is sleeping now,it wasn’t easy to stop her from crying,what really happen?
Bryan asked.

“Nothing that serious”
She replied,she is not ready to discuss part of her life to him not knowing that Princess has told him what happened.

“Okay,you have to take her in”
He said.

She carried her and said with smiles,
“Thank so much Bryan”

“Is nothing, please don’t make my Princess to cry again”
He jokey said.

“I will never do that again Mr Bryan”
She said with smiles.

They went upstairs to their apartments,Bryan said to her before going in,side his apartment,
“Take care!

She smiled and replied,
“Thank you!
They both went in,side their apartments.

Pearl lay her down on the bed,
“I really hurt you my Princess and I didn’t mean to, Please forgive me,Mom love you so much”
She said in tears.

She pecked her on the forehead and covered her the duvet before leaving her room.

She went to the kitchen to prepare dinner as she was chopping the vegetable her phone rang from the sitting room,she washed her hand and rushed out to get the phone.

📞 Hey Bestie how are you doing?
Anne asked.

📞 Am fine!
She sounded.

📞 That voice sounded otherwise, what’s wrong?
She asked.

📞 Is Princess”

📞 Princess! What happen to her?
She asked confusingly.

📞 She asked me about her father I tried to convince her as usual but the mood I saw my little daughter too I have never seen that type of mood before,she was so angry and I don’t know how she found out that I have been lying to her about her Father”
She said.

📞 I have been ringing it on your ears to stop lying to her about her father tell her the truth and hopefully she will understand, have you forgotten how smart she is one day she must surly know she has a father,what did you tell her?
Anne shouted at her.

📞 I told her the truth, her father didn’t want her and she left because of her”
She sounded.

📞 Oh mine! How did she handle it?
She asked being so concerned about her.

📞 It wasn’t easy at all,my daughter was so angry but thank God Bryan was able to calm her down”

📞 Thank God,Is she there with you so that I can talk to her?

📞 No,she is at sleep now”

📞 Okay,I will come tomorrow and see her”

📞 Okay Anne,I left something on the gas I need to check it”

📞 Okay dear,see you tomorrow”

She ended the call and went back to the kitchen.

After dinner,she dished the food out to the dinning,she went up to get Princess,Princess is already awake she sat down on the bed with her hands on her jaw starring at nothing.

Pearl went and sat beside her,
“You are awake my baby, come down let have dinner”
She said.

“Am not hungry!
She sounded sadly.

“Baby are you still angry with me?
She asked car–sing her hair.

“Why shouldn’t I not be angry with you? I have been lying to me about my Dad since I was small you made me to believed that I got no father,Why Mom?
She asked.

“See my love,I didn’t mean to lie nor to hurt you I got a reason for not telling you about your father”
She said.

“What reason will that be for hiding such thing from me?
She asked.

Pearl told her everything she need to know about her and the reason why she have to lied to her thankfully Princess was able to understand.

“Mom my father did all that?
She asked.

“Yes,my Angel”

“Why am I even crying? He is not worth of my crying since he did not want me then I did not want him too”
She sounded.

“Am sorry for not telling you about it”
She apologized.

“Is okay Mom,I don’t need him in my life you are enough for me and so happy to have you as my mother,I love you Mom”
She said and hugged her.

“I love you too my Princess”
She k×ssed her on the cheek.

“Can we go now and eat Mom, am starving”
She said.

“Off we go my baby”
She said and carried her.

On Saturday evening,Pearl was seen downstairs at the back of the compound enjoying the cool breeze of the weather and also working with her system 💻while Princess was playing football.

Bryan came downstairs to the back of the compound Princess saw him and ran to meet him.

“Uncle Bryan!
She shouted and hugged him feeling so excited to see him.

“How are you doing?
He asked with smiles.

“Am fine!
She answered with smiles and hold his hand.

“What of your Mom?

“She is over there!
She pointed at her direction.

“Okay,let’s go and see her then”

“Mom, Uncle Bryan is here”
Princess happily said at the moment they approached to her Mommy.

“Hey Bryan!
She said with smiles.

“How are you doing Pearl?
He asked with smiles.

She smiled and replied,
“Am good,enjoying the cool breeze of the evening weather”

“Yeah so cool! What are you working on?
He asked glancing on the system.

“Am trying to work on a presentation for my company but am finding it little difficult to put in a presentable way”
She said typing so fast on the system.

“I think I can help you with it”
He said.

“Wow! are you serious?
She sounded happily.

“For sure!
He collected the system and work on the presentation,Pearl was so amazed of the outwork.

“Wow! Bryan this is amazing, awesome!
She sounded happily.

“You will pay me for this outwork ooo!
He sounded with smiles.

“You got no problem,what did you want? but it will be when the inventors has buys the presentation that’s when I will fulfill your want”
She said with smiles.

He thought for a while and said,
“I don’t have anything in mind for now,I will name my want later but just know that you will be owing me because I know the inventors will fall for this my awesome presentation”

Pearl laughed and said,
“No problem Bryan”

Princess came to him and said,
“Uncle Bryan please come and play ball with me Mommy don’t want to play with me”

He smiled and said,
“For sure,let’s go”

Princess shouted with joy,
“Yeah! Uncle Bryan will play ball with me”

They started playing ball and having their fun while Pearl watches them with smiles,Princess rushed to get her to join them.

“Come and join us Mom”
She sounded with smiles.

“No Princess,I don’t have the strength”

“Don’t mind your Mom,she don’t know how to play ball”
Bryan jokey said.

Pearl stood up and sounded,
“Who said I don’t know how to play ball? I can play ball pass Messi Renaldo”

Bryan and Princess laughed and laughed,
“What are they laughing at? Did you what me to show that am a real footballer,I used to play ball ooo when was a teenager,I don’t joke with football ooo,did you want to see the second Messi Renaldo on the field?
She sounded with smiles.

“Oh yes! we want to see the second Messi Renaldo”
They both shouted with laugh.

“Okay let’s go,I will finish you two”
She shouted.

“We will finish you ooo! we are strong team”
Bryan shouted and gave Princess high five.

They started playing the ball having so much fun,few minutes later Bryan and Princess won the football.

Princess jumped and shouted,
“Yeah! We won! We won!

Bryan carried her and shouted,
“What happen to our Messi Renaldo?

“I purposely allowed you two to won if not because of my babe you wouldn’t have win me Bryan”
She sounded.

They bursted out laughing,
“Is a lie Mom! Uncle Bryan is the best player”

“Don’t worry let time I will show you guys that am the best player,I will finally you two”
She shouted.

Bryan laughed and said,
“You will not do anything,we will finish”

Pearl did say any more word again as they keep on smiling and starring at each other.

“Princess did you want to swim?
Bryan asked breaking the silence and stares between them.

“Yes Uncle Bryan!
She shouted happily.

“What about you Pearl? Don’t you wanna have a cool swim?
He asked with smiles.

“No,you guys should swim let me be the watchman”
She sounded.

“Okay ooo!
Bryan threw Princess softly on the swimming pool and jumped in too,they were swimming and having their fun as Pearl watches them with smiles.
