Episode 1

Joy’s station of happiness infers no limit as she sat comfortably on a wooden stool in their compound getting comforted by the midday breeze, she observed the beautiful weather that just suits the wonderful period, remembering, it was another Christmas season made her even happier and the fact that she will now do as she wants even made her happiest.

The Christmas season had always been great for joy most especially now that she clocks 18, her mother said she will never allow her to go out alone on Christmas till she’s up to 18, she would sob yearly on Christmas seasons, watching her friends that are just in her age range have fun while she would either be locked up in the house or a night vigil with her mom, they (her friends) would later come to gist her on how they visited many eventful places which will even add more to her sorrows, now that she is up to 18, she will now go in person to vouch the great and amusing day.

Time checked on her palasa (small buttoned phone) was just a few twinklings to the hour of one in the afternoon, so she decided to have a nap to kill some time.

She was roused by the loud buzzy sounds from her palasa, she yawned and rubbed her blurry eyes to have better sight, glancing at the screen, she discovered it was a call from Ella,

As she was walking out of her room and was about to pass through the living room she met her mother lying on the long couch in the living room, she meant to walk past her hoping she was sleeping but she (her mom) called her back.
