“Stop the car” Dominic suddenly ordered and Enzo stopped the car immediately.

“What’s wrong boss?” Enzo asked.

Dominic couldn’t help but feel strange about something but then, his phone beeped and Chantel’s message come in.

*HEY DEMON, THANKS FOR THE LUNCH*

Is he just overeating, but what about the person he saw earlier.

“Go back to the restaurant” he demanded.

The car drove back to the restaurant and he spot the lady he saw trying to call someone.

Enzo scoffed seeing her too.

“Rana?” Dominic called.

Rana who heard her name turn back to face him. Her facial expression made him frown.

“Where’s Chantel?” She asked immediately.

“She just head home, what happened?” Dominic asked getting a bad feeling about this.

“I think she’s in trouble..”

Just those few words are enough to make Dominic aura changed. He head towards his car then drive off instantly with Enzo.

She took her phone again and continue calling Chantel’s number.

Back where Chantel was….

He turn his slowly turn his head to Chantel. There was a gun on his right hand.

Chantel saw this and turn to run but two gunshots sounded…

She halt then shut her eyes tightly.

“Don’t you move” Came a cold warning from the guy. He had actually shot the air twice.

Chantel slowly open her eyes hearing the guy’s footsteps coming closer to her. She knows what his next move will be.

“Who are you?” She asked.

“Just stay where you are if you still love yourself” He warned still stepping close.

Sensing he was close enough, Chantel turn to stop the guy from stabbing her with the sedative. She grab his arm before kicking him hard on the stomach.

Her move was fast..

Grabbing him by the hair, she hit his head several time on the car window. The guy bleed from his nose and his forehead too. She kick him on the face using her heels before grabbing the gun from the floor.

Exhaling deeply she raised the gun then point it towards his face.

“Remove the mask” she demanded.

The guy shivered on his spot. Who woukd have thought a lady like her would know all those moves?

He slowly lift his hand to remove ithe mask.

Chantel finally get to see his strange face. He look like a street gangster sent to abduct her.

She had been in this situation several times from those people determined to bring her down two years ago.

“Who sent you?” She asked.

A car drove fast into the area and Dominic rushed down instantly but the scene made him halt. He thought she would be the one in trouble but it was the other way round.

“Demon?” She muttered surprised to see him.

The guy used the opportunity to get up and run passing a sharp corner.

“Shit” Chantel cursed.

Enzo ran after him instantly.

Dominic walked close to Chantel to check her body. “Are you okay?, That bastard didn’t hurt you right?” He asked.

“Not at all, I’m fine Dom. How do you know I was here?” She asked surprised to see him.

Dominic told her how he saw Rana getting restless then decided to go and ask her.

Enzo appeared breathing hard “he got away”.

“Slow wit” Dominic muttered.

“He’ll come back for me for sure, then we won’t let him slip away” She said.

“Aren’t you scared?” Dominic asked. He was so surprised about Chantel taking care of that guy without his help.

“Why should I? This not the first time. Beside, the person who sent him only wants to abduct me and not kill me..”

“Yeah, and that’s still dangerous” Dominic cut in.

“I’m fine, stop over reacting” She scoffed before entering her car.

Dominic sighed. “Take care of the driver, I’ll take her home” he said to Enzo before entering the driver seat.

While driving, Chantel was awfully quiet. He cleared his throat breaking the silence.

“I never thought you knew how to fight” He tried starting a conversation.

“I learned it from a friend in China” she replied in short.

“I’m glad you’re alright” he said. She looked at him and finally gave him a smile.

THE FAMOUS CHANTEL MCCARTHY IS FOUND CHEATING ON HER HUSBAND!

That was the news been released the next day. Since the Galaxy list is going to be officially out tomorrow, someone decided to create a scandal about Chantel.

A picture of her kissing a man at the front of a restaurant was posted anonymously online. Her face was revealed but the man’s face wasn’t. Netizens began to throw hateful comments..

She is a bitch indeed, no wonder her she is gaining her status so fast, it turns out she is busy sleepy with some rich men to help her…

Meanwhile, Chantel and Rana laughed at the comments while reading it.

“This is just too stupid, they don’t even recognize the person as boss” Rana chuckled.

“Let them say what they want” Chantel smiled.

Her phone rang and the name ‘Demon’ flashed on the screen.

‘Should I just change the name, he’s not behaving like one anymore’ she thought before picking up.

“Hello hubby” she answered.

Dominic who was flipping over some documents paused and checked who really called. Did she just called him hubby?

Even Chantel herself didn’t realize when she called him that. Rana could only smile secretly.

“Uhm.. what did you eat today?” Dominic asked having a small smile in his face.

“Why are you asking when we both had breakfast this morning” Chantel raised her brow.

“You didn’t call me demon so I was just wondering if you ate something else” He said.

That was when Chantel realized she had use the word ‘Hubby’ for him. How the hell did that word slip out of her mouth?

Hearing no reply from her Dominic could imagine how paled her face would look right now.

“The picture online is quite cute Wife, should we make it bigger, frame it and hang it one side of the living room?” He asked.

Chantel laughed lightly at his word. “I was actually thinking the same, I’d love to see it everyday demon”

Dominic face dropped hearing her call him Demon again. “Can you call me hubby again?” He asked.

“No!” She said quickly before cutting the call. Her smile broaden afterward.

Dominic grin looking at his phone. His face turn serious as he finally looked up at Enzo who was busy waiting for him during the call with his wife.

“Your update better be good” Dominic said.

“I’ve found the guy who tried to hurt ma’am. He is in the black room” Enzo informed. The black room is the place Dominic show out the devil side of him.

“Good, let’s head there” He said standing to his feet. Of course he doesn’t want the same incident to happen again. What if the guy had shot Chantel instead of the air?

The guy is doom, same with the person who ordered him!

“I can’t believe it Miss, I’m so glad the Galaxy Show called you! I’m so happy for you!” Phoebe squealed like a little kid.

Just some minutes ago, Yulia received a call that she is now a candidate to the Galaxy show. It seems the old man really cared about his image but then, why does he like fucking around?

“Make sure you start preparing everything from now on. Nothing must go wrong” Yulia said to her assistant.

‘Chantel is sure going to be shock about it’ she thought.

Chantel entered the silver company looking beautiful as usual. She was wearing a pencil trouser and a gold shirt matching with her jewelries.

Workers there couldn’t help but stare.. some was staring hatefully at her while some admired her beauty.

Getting into Marcus office, She found him sitting with his chin rested on his knuckle.

“Hello, Mr president” she smile taking of her shade.

“Chantel, it’s good you’re here” Marcus said.

“Hm, those words feels strange though” she said taking her sit. “You called”

“People have been asking for explaination about the scandal and they are criticising the company too. They say we raised artists who cheats on their partner. I think you should give the public a good explanation or just stay hidden for the news to suppress” Marcus said smirking inwardly.

“I thought I am here for a good reason, why am I to explain myself? Are you also calling me a cheat?”

“The the picture is clear and vivid. I know this is going to affect you but you still have to apologize for your wrong doing or stay low” Marcus said.

Hearing no response from Chantel, Marcus thought she was giving in.

“By the way, I’m delighted to inform that Yulia had been chosen for the Galaxy show. The company is going to hold a celebration tonight for the artist chosen here. Mr Shane, the owner will be appearing there to congratulate us. You are invited”

Yulia! She finally did. Only she knows how happy she is right now hearing this. The more Yulia watch her grow, the more she’s pushing herself into the pit of hell!

“That’s nice of you Mr Marcus. I’ll be there to congratulate Yulia myself” Chantel smiled.

Marcus thought Chantel is a type who doesn’t give up on what she wants but this time around, she look defeated.

Stupid!

Getting out of the office, Chantel came across Yulia. Of course this woman have this look on her face as if she had won a lottery.

“Hello Chantel, I’m sure Marcus told you everything already. You should come too” Yulia smiled.

“Of course I will. Congratulations anyway” she said.

“Don’t be down okay, I’m sure you can work hard for the one coming next year” Yulia said thinking Chantel must be down right now.

“Don’t flatter yourself” Chantel spoke lightly before walking passing her.

“Pay more people to drop hateful comment about her. The Galaxy show must not recognize her” Yulia said to Phoebe who was standing behind her. Her mind is still unsettled with the way Chantel have this calm look on her face.

Rana was busy playing gangster on her phone when Chantel boarded the car.

“How did it go?” She drop her phone spot Chantel.

“We have a function tonight, a show is about to unfold” Chantel said.

(DARK ROOM)

“Argh!!!!” A resounding scream rented to whole place as Dominic cut off one finger of the guy who tried to hurt Chantel last night.

“Cool, I love how your scream sounds. One question, one finger. I’ll ask once again. Who sent you?” He asked coldly looking like a handsome devil with blood on his hand.

“I told you I don’t know.. an anonymous person asked me to do it. He offered me a lot of money asking me to abduct her. He paid half of the money, that was why I did that. Fuck! Please that’s all.. please don’t hurt me” the guy cried hard like a kid. He never knew his action was going against this ruthless billionaire.

“Oh, is that so?” Dominic raised his brow.

“Yes please, I swear” he sobbed.

Dominic stand on his feet. “Alright then, you shot the gun with your right hand didn’t you?” He asked.

The guy raised his head unsure if he should answer the question or not.

The next thing he felt was his right wrist been cut off the axe..

“Arrghhhh!!!!!!!!”

“Get the hackers, trace that bastard” Dominic said.

“Yes boss” Enzo replied but then speak again when Dominic turn to leave. “I hope you didn’t forget about the meeting with Mr Mario”

Dominic paused, he had totally forgotten about the meeting he have with a business partner in Italy which would take him at least two weeks before he return.

(6:30pm)

“Miss, this is a delivery for you” A lady came to informed Chantel while she was busy making her hair.

She opened the box just to find a stunning red dress which worth millions. She frowned knowing this is from Dominic.

She made to call Dominic but his call came in instead.

“Have you seen it?” He asked. His deep voice just always seems to get her.

“Do you have to?” Chantel asked getting touched by what he did.

“Of course, we need to look more than good. I’ll come pick you up soon” Dominic said.

Chantel actually made the plan of them appearing as couples to the function in order to slap those calling her a cheater across the face.

That means there are two shows about to be played at the function.

After chatting with Dominic in a while Chantel went to the dressing room to wear the dress.

“Gosh, he knows what suits me” she smile loving the way the red dress look.

Getting out Rana who was wearing a black pencil office trouser and cool suit was waiting for her. If one sees her from afar then they will definitely mistook her as a male.

“Holy shit, Chantel marry me” Rana teased loving the dress.

“Dom is going to kill you” Chantel laughed lightly.

A car stopped before them and Dominic slowly got down from the car.

Fuck! He was like a demigod.

Chantel heart swell loving the way it look on him. They both stare at each other for a while.

“You look great” Chantel complimented.

“You look like a goddess” Dominic said.

“They’re so good together” Rana said beside Enzo.

Enzo looked at her raising his brow. “I thought you were a boy” he said.

“Hey, I don’t mind kicking your ass right here” she shot a glare at him.

(SILVER HALL)

Reporters, artists and some visitors could be seen in the hall chatting and laughing among each other.

Yulia caught everyone’s attention due to her beautiful purple dress. Her boobs were just so captivating enough to make any man drool..

She smiled loving how everyone was staring at her.

The function started already..

“Is she going to show up?” One of Yulia’s close friend asked knowing what show is about to play. They Plan to make Chantel feel small..

“If she doesn’t, then she’ll be Labeled as a coward. Either way, she’s fucked” Yulia said drinking out of her red wine.

She spot Mr Shane, the owner of the Galaxy show at a respectable sitting place. She made her way to him so she could win some favour.

“Good evening” she greeted smiling so hard.

Mr Shane looked up blankly. “Evening” he replied returning his gaze back to his phone.

The truth is, he is here to congratulate Chantel since they’ve become friends. If not for her, he wouldn’t have showed up at all!

“I just want to say, you look good” Yulia said.

Mr Shane looked up again and frowned.

“I’m sorry do I know you?” He frowned not recognizing this model. Only his assistant does.

“Huh?” Yulia frowned not getting what he meant. Isn’t he here to congratulate her?

Just then, there was a loud uproar coming from the entering.

Two figures just appeared catching everyone’s attention. They both wore same colour of dress with the same brand worthing millions of dollars.

They even wear their wedding ring!

Someone pinch me, is Dominic Winfrey really here?…

Oh my Gawd! They look like couples!…

I never know they are this close!..

Shit! I think I’m in love already.. these couples are Amazing…

The blank look on Mr Shane’s face was replaced with a smile seeing his friend walk in. She just always seems to amaze him.

Even Marcus spit back his drink into his cup.

No one thought Dominic Winfrey will appear. He was holding her waist as they walk!

But why?

Of course Dominic appeared so he could congratulate his wife for her achievement.
