The fortifier

Chapter 4

Then at that moment right at 6am in the morning, just when the sun was about greeting the earth, two helicopters and 5 to ten jeeps drove into Thomas who was still waiting patiently for them.
He heard the sound of jeeps and helicopter coming in as several men dressed up for battle came out of the cars and helicopters.
“Let make a big show”, Thomas said looking at them from the bushes.
“Alright everybody the fortifier should be asleep by now, rush to the house as fast as you can”, A man said as he ordered all the men to attack.
They began running but not wanting to awake anybody they kept moving silently and observing Thomas smiled as he counted the total invading men on his land.

“A total of about 60 men, Wow”, he said still observing.
He then positioned the motion gun sensor that he had placed in six trees.
“60/6 = 10”. He said slowly.
“So a total of 10 men for each gun, fair enough”, he said immediately activating the guns in 40 seconds ahead as he placed a silencer over his sniper gun and targeted the pilots of the two helicopters on land.

“3 2 1”, Immediately the guns went off and Thomas had shot the two pilots in 0.92 seconds and everyone was confused on what was happening and soon enough they were all down and dead.
The sounds of gunshots were heard in room 87 as their eyes were fully open on hearing the continuous gunshots heard outside.
“What is going on? “, Anita asked but got no answers as everyone was numb and dumb.

Thomas rode out of his hideout on his horse he had created a single bullet hole in each helicopter piercing the skulls of the pilots. It was one of cleanest shots ever.
“I am now the owner of two helicopters and many jeeps”, He said blowing a k×ss from his horse sit to the dead men bodies.
He deactivated the sensor guns as he rode on his horse looking muscular and observing the dead bodies to know who was still alive and absolutely none were alive at all.

He rode back to his yard and went towards where the rest were staying and knocked on the door of room 87.
“Open the doors Jeffrey and Antonio”, he said with a little smirk up on his face.
The doors opened slowly creating a creaking sound.
“What happened? “, harry asked as he was completely shocked
“The assassins came but now they are all gone”, he answered
“Gone to where? “, Joseph asked
“Hell of course”, Thomas replied jokingly
“Seriously”, Anita said.
“Well they are all gone”, he answered
“Thanks a lot”, harry said as they moved to the house sitting room.
They walked out of the house to be shocked to the bones by what they saw on the fields of the land, dead bodies all scattered around.
“Did you kill them all”, Joseph asked surprised
“Don’t ask me, you guys are free already from this people”, Thomas said
“What about the person that sent this people”, Benita asked
“He won’t be bothering you but me”, Thomas answered as he deactivated his battle suit
“What are you?” they asked slowly
“Call me The FORTIFIER” he said slowly as he walked away slowly with his black horse.

“What the hell my whole assassin group dead instantly just like that”, a man shouted as he kicked the wall in anger causing it to crack and smashing his phone on the wall.
“Am so going to destroy the fortifier”, He s¢ræmed out so loud
Thomas bids his brother wives, kids and sisters goodbye, giving each of them a peck as they went into their cars and rode away promising to come back for another visit.
He rode with his horse following them and overtaking them really fast as he climbed a steep hill close to his land exit and made his horse raise it two fore limbs up and fired a bullet to the sky before going back to his farm yard to continue his usual lifestyle .just then rain began it downpour the afternoon they left.

Chapter 5
Life was never a misery and won’t be as long as you got principles, for those with principles will never forfeit and will never swerve like a sh¡p in a dark storm.

Few days after this family reunion had occurred in Thomas the fortifier received a call and it was from the boss who had sent the assassins unto Thomas’s brothers’ family.
“Thomas the fortifier right”, He said mockingly
“With whom do I speak with”? Thomas replied
“I don’t do intros”, he said
“Oh I see”, Thomas said as he cut the call.
Hello the man repeated but got no answers at all.
“This dude is just so disrespectful”, he said with anger as he called again
“What is it this time? “, Thomas asked
“Before you cut the call on me once more, hear what I am about to say s×¢ker”, he said
“What? “, Thomas asked impatiently
“You should say Hi to Susan the fiancée that left you 3 years ago”, the boss whose name was Diego said.

“What the hell? “ Thomas said shocked “{Firstly dude I live a quiet live here and also that girl and I got nothing so just leave me out of your problems”, Thomas said
“Really alright but in few weeks time you should hear the news of her been raped and killed then dumped on the streets”, Diego said angrily
“Look man what the hell do you want from me? “, Thomas asked
“I want you to come retrieve her in 3 days else she is a goner”, Diego said
“What the hell, I don’t even know your name”, Thomas said as the man cut the call
“Told you I don’t do intros”, he said looking at his phone.
“Take the bitch in,side lock her up and prepare yourselves we got a bad visitor to kill”, Diego said.

“f×¢k”, Thomas shouted
“Can’t I just have a little peace for once”, he said angrily kicking the soil.
“How am I going to get her now and in just three days with no location”, he asked rhetorically shaking his head as he looked up into the sky annoyed.
“Where do I even start from “, he said walking back to his yard to pour a drink for himself.
He brought out a high tech phone and decided to track down the phone number of the caller.
“I knew it”, He shouted
“The caller must have been the dude that sent those puny assassins maybe he went deep about me and got to know about her since all my other details of profession are deleted and cleared from whatsoever source”, Thomas said sitting on a table.
“I have transportation for a far distance, guns and will need food”, he said while he keeps listing all he needed for his journey.

He engaged self auto mode before he could leave. The self auto mode was there to so activities kept running like he was still around.
“Been long since the last time I went on air with one of this he said
He already had burned all the bodies to ashes and disposed them already. He turned on the engines and the blades began rotating very fast, soon enough the helicopter was lifted off the ground slowly disappearing into the sky while Thomas used the GPS as he kept tracking the number while on air drawing closer every second.
Minutes turned into hours and Thomas kept having the feel that he needed the element of surprise to be able to overcome them.
He decided to land his helicopter in a huge landscape so as to continue his journey on land. After landing he got out of the helicopter which was in no inhabitable area in which human lives around there.

“At least I got enough fuel to take me back”, he said placing a tracker in the helicopter while he ventured into the near New Zealand city on foot.
He held the high tech phone which he kept using to track the phone number.
“Seems like the person just decided to stay in one place”, he said as night approached slowly while he kept walking.
He got into the city at night and everywhere was still a little busy since most were asleep he had walked a long way and decided to get his food which was still warm he ate and drank to his satisfaction and decided to highjack a car for his use.

He saw a particular which was just parked and no one was near it, he broke the glass and opened the doors as he joined the wires for ignition before it engine could run while he kept following the beep.
“All eyes opened for any strange sighting”, Diego said commanding his men.
“Hey beautiful, how are you doing? “, he said to a woman who was chained both hands and legs.
“Why are you keeping me here? “, she said slowly
“Remember you ex fiancée”, he asked
“What does he have to do with this? “, she said
“Well he killed all my men burned their bodies and I want to do the same at him”, he said
“So you are using me as bait”, She asked
“Now you understand, you will be kept here till he comes”, he said laughing
“He won’t come for me, we broke up and he doesn’t care”, Susan said
“Not my business lady gaga”, he laughed at his own joke.

“Anyway it will be nice if I killed you both together at least you could get married in afterlife.
“Damn you! “, she shouted weakly
“Don’t be angry”, he said with a smirk
“It will all be over very soon”, leaving the room
“So this number is located in a ware house” Thomas said as he zoomed through with his stolen car while he used goggle map to view.
“A one hour drive to that location”, Thomas said as he kicked on the speed pedal and drove at a neck breaking speed.
“Since they don’t know my face, I got my advantage time for a stealth attack”, he said

CHAPTER 6
Thomas approached the warehouse but stopped at a reasonable distance, by this time night had arrived.
He watched closely to know the movement of guards was intense but it was more than he had expected, the guards roamed everywhere in fact there was no interval.
Everywhere looked bulked up just then a huge lorry which was transporting weapons approached slowly, instantly Thomas grabbed the lorry back as it rode to the warehouse, it came slowly to a stop for search before it could enter in,side the warehouse.
P Thomas quickly climbed down as he went underneath the lorry and stayed there, the men came and searched the vehicle with torch lights looking from behind and climbing up to check the weapon loads.

“You guys did well bringing the weapons”, a man said as he got down from the back
“What about the girl”, the driver asked
“Well she is held down in a little store room though, boss as plans to transfer her to another location before that dude arrives’, the man answered
“Really I guess that will be tonight”, the driver said
“Of course”, the man said switching off the hand torch.

“Alright move”, he said tot the driver
“f×¢k”, Thomas said from underneath the vehicle
“Need to find her”, Thomas said releasing his grip from the lorry before it could take a turn just to go through another search.
He immediately rolled away into the dark, one of the men came walking but Thomas immediately grabbed his neck and knocked him out, he took the gun and walked out of the dark. He wasn’t walking fast but slows down so not to raise suspicions he went up a particular stairs and stood still like watching for an intruder like the rest of the guards.
“Hey you any sign of intruder”, a man said with Mexican accent
To which Thomas replied mimicking the man accent.

‘No sign of him”, he said, the man looked at him and went away.
Thomas immediately wore an eyeglass pressing a button to perform a quick scan of the building so as to discover Susan location.
He looked carefully and saw the storage room but she wasn’t there, he looked again and discovered she was being taken to a jeep.

“Change of location”, Thomas whispered as he immediately climbed down the stairs soon a group of men were approaching him.

He immediately used the darkness to his advantage using it to hide from their eyes, the jeep engine was turned on already and was on the move but Thomas was still in,side the warehouse, he went to the light fuse of the ware house and disconnected it causing commotion and immediately getting out of the warehouse but the jeep was gone already.
Instantly he entered his car and drove of like a mad man he made a quick turn to the right and was able to catch a glimpse of the jeep which made a turn to the left hitting hærd on the pedals he chased the jeep, the driver of the jeep didn’t notice the chasing car because Thomas was driving with no car headlight.

Thomas drove really fast as he got near towards the vehicle he immediately fired his silent gun sending the bullet into the tires of the jeep slowing it down.
The driver noticed the decrease in speed and how the smooth ride was now bumpy, he looked and saw Thomas in his car smiling at him, he immediately reached out for his gun but Thomas already sent a few bullets into his body causing the dead man leg to go hærd on the pedal.
Thomas immediately fired another tires before he hit the side of the jeep causing it to move away from the road and hit a pole and stop.
He got down from his car and moved to the boot where he saw a chained Susan with a blindfold covering her eyes. He carried her from the car in bridal style putting her into his car.

“Who are you/ “, she asked
“Where am I”, she shouted again but couldn’t move for she was chained.
Thomas spoke no word to her as he drove off with her, he got to a certain point she began s¢ræming Thomas had to remove her blind fold, she looked around but couldn’t recognize where she was neither could she recognize who was with her.
“Who are you”, she asked but got no reply.
Thomas kept driving his destination was to move out of the city and take her to his place.
“Who are you “, she asked again after 2 hrs.
“Thomas”, he replied as they came to a halt.
“Thomas you maniac, you caused all this bullshit happening to me”, she said in anger as he got down from the car and cut of the chains from her hands and body.

“One of the main reasons why I didn’t want to answer you”, he said as he carried her
“Where are you going to? “, she asked
“Am going to my place, they will discover you are gone and either come for you or me”, Thomas said
“You must be crazy am not going at all with you”, she said
“Then suit yourself”, Thomas said as he dropped her on the floor.
“Thank you”, Susan said as she tried standing up but couldn’t
“Thomas what is going on with my legs”, she asked
“They are weak due to the stress your muscles passed through”, he said as he began walking away
“Please don’t leave me here”, she begged
“I thought you said you didn’t want to go to my place”, Thomas said
“Please you can’t leave me here”, she said
“Alright”, Thomas said walking back to her and carrying her on his back, they kept on walking for a longtime for about 2 hrs.
“Aren’t you feeling pain from carrying me”, she asked
“Yes you’ve put on more weights than the last time”, Thomas said
“Now that is a big lie”, she said hitting Thomas with her hands
“At last” Thomas said
“What”, she asked
“That”, Thomas said as he pointed to his well covered helicopter
“You have a helicopter”, she said surprised
“It is a long story”, he said dropping her in,side as he removed the leaves and everything he used to cover the helicopter up.

Entered in,side and closed the doors while he turned on the engines of the helicopter in few seconds the blade began to spin so fast and soon enough they were up in the sky going for the Fortifier property
The warehouse light was back on soon but they all knew something was wrong, something had happened but they couldn’t pin point where the error had gone wrong, they felt infiltrated but no one knows how.
