Kevin’s POV

Today is Mitchell’s wedding and I’m stuck in here. How did my life become so messed up? Ever since I met Kathryn and Mitchell, it has been from one problem to another.

Kathryn has already paid for what she has done and I’m now left with Mitchell. As soon as I deal with her, I will forget about everything and continue with the way I lived before I met them.

I need to go to Mitchell’s wedding, but how? I already threatened her so if I don’t go there, it will seem like I was just bluffing all along.

My men told me the wedding is going to start by 10am and this is past ten already. I don’t know why this reporters are here when they are supposed to be at Mitchell’s wedding.

Don’t they know she’s the youngest granddaughter of the third richest family in America? I tried asking my men about the man Mitchell will be getting married to and they told me he’s just an average guy.

They said he’s extremely handsome but they dare not say he’s more handsome than I am. I will be going to the wedding now to see things for myself.

After wearing my clothes, I wore a hoodie to cover my face and left my mansion through a secret route. My guards already got me an invitation card so entering into the wedding hall is just a piece of cake.

I boarded a taxi and went straight to the church where the wedding was taking place. The priest was about joining them together and I know he will definitely ask if there’s anyone against this marriage.

I’m so glad that I came her just in time. As soon as the priest asks for anyone against the marriage, I will raise my hand and make sure this wedding is cancelled.

I walked to the door and wanted to go in but the armed men standing there stopped me from going further.

“First, we need to see your invitation card and we also need you to take off your hoodie before you can go in” one of them said

I showed them my invitation card and wanted going in but they still stopped me again.

“Take off your hoodie or you won’t be going in,side, I’m not kidding” the man said again

I sighed frustratedly and finally took off my hoodie. When they saw who I was, they lowered their head in fear and immediately moved aside. This is what happens when you are extremely wealthy.

“We are sorry for not recognizing you sir, please go in” one of them said shakily

I ignored them and went into the church. This time, no hoodie was covering my face so everyone knew I was Kevin Russell.

“Is there anyone in this place who doesn’t want this marriage to take place, and why?” the priest asked the long awaited question

I gently raised my hand and everyone was surprised but they became shocked when they saw I was the one. Yeah, that’s how it should be!

“Young man, you are against this marriage?” the priest asked while Mitchell stared at me dumbfounded

“Yes priest” I answered with a smirk

“Can you give us two reasons why you’re against this wedding?” the priest further asked

“Well, this lady standing here is my girlfriend and I love her dearly with all my heart. I can’t bear seeing the woman I love getting married to another man” I said sadly

“Miss Mitchell, is this true?” the priest asked now facing Mitchell

“It’s not true! I don’t even know him, we’ve never met before. I only saw him on TV and the first and only time I had physical contact with him was during a business meeting.

He threatened to make my life miserable if I don’t give him my body but I only saw it as an empty threat. I never knew he was being serious” Mitchell said as tears welled up in her eyes

Oh my goodness! Is this really Mitchell talking? She looked too innocent to be able to come up with such lie but she didn’t just lie, she also acted perfectly. I wasn’t expecting things to turn out this way. What do I do now?

“Is what she just said true?” the priest asked me

“No priest, she’s lying” I protested

“Fine then! Prove to us that she’s your girlfriend. You can show us your chat together and what you saved her name it or pictures of you guys together. We will also confirm whatever you show us on her phone too” the priest said making me gulp hærd

What the heck is this? Isn’t he just supposed to call off this wedding since I said I’m against it? What’s the meaning of what he’s trying to do now?

“I….I don’t want to embarrass her publicly, you can go on with the wedding” I said and sat down dejectedly while the priest continued

Just about five minutes later, I began to hear voices outside. I listened closely and discovered it was the press. How did they find me so quickly? I have to leave this place right away.

Chris POV

I was beyond surprised to see that someone was against my wedding with Mitchell and it was none other than Kevin Russell.

For goodness sake, what does that guy wants? There are many ladies that will kill to spend a night with him so why is he specifically after Mitchell?

I know Mitchell is beautiful, but at least she isn’t as curvy as some ladies out there. He should just go for them and leave Mitchell alone.

“You may now k-ss the bride” the priest’s words jolted me out of my thoughts and I gulped down nervously

I never even thought of this k-ssing aspect, I would have asked Mitchell what I’m supposed to do. If I k-ss her now, won’t she hate me for it?

I opened the veil and slowly pulled her closer to me with my heart beating really fast. I’m going to k-ss her but I will make it brief.

I placed my l-ips on hers and pulled away after about ten seconds. I dared not look at her face because I don’t want to know how she reacted.

The rest of the wedding went on smoothly and soon, the reception party began. I and Mitchell were called to the dance floor after we had changed our clothes and must say she’s a really good dancer. She should have been a K-Pop idol instead of being an accountant.

The reception was soon over and we left the party in the same car. Throughout the drive, I made sure to maintain my stance and kept quiet while playing games on my phone.

When we got home, we had to act like loving couples because of Mitchell’s grandparents that were in the sitting room.

“Thanks for today, I’m so grateful” Mitchell said facing me as soon as we got to her room

“I don’t remember doing anything” I said confusedly

“You did a lot. You saved me from Kevin and even when he said those things today, you still stood by me”

“You and I know I didn’t do anything. First, you already told me about him. Besides that, I have no business with whatever he said. Don’t forget about why we got married and what will be happening in six months time” I reminded her

I could notice the sad look on her face but I just shrugged it off. She’s probably sad because of something else.

“You can sleep on the bed while I sleep on the couch” Mitchell said few minutes after we were done bathing

“But is that really necessary? What if someone comes in?” I asked

“My door is always locked so no one will come in”

“Okay then! You sleep on the bed while I sleep on the couch” I said

Before she could even respond to what I said, I was already on the couch.

“Goodnight” I mumbled and covered myself with the duvet

Kathryn’s POV

Ever since I uploaded that information about Kevin’s Mom, I’ve not seen him leave his mansion. He won’t even have time to f**k girls for a while and that’s exactly what he deserves.

I have a lot of things in store for him so he should just watch how I deal with him until I’m satisfied.

Ever since that incident happened, I’ve always taken my bodyguards along with me. Some follow me openly while some follow me discreetly.

I won’t let what happened with Kevin repeat itself. I’m a celebrity so I shouldn’t be victim of things like that but I guess that’s how it was meant to be.

Ever since Robert saved me from the hospital, we’ve always crossed paths in one way or the other and I feel like he’s stalking me.

I got to know later on that his full name is Robert George. His family stays in China but he decided to stay in his country and continue the family business.

He told me a lot about himself and I can say we’ve gotten quite close. He’s not a bad guy but I can’t trust him completely after what I went through in the hands of Kevin.

I picked up my phone to check the latest things happening and the first thing I came across was Mitchell’s wedding.

I heard about it from Crystal and some other people but I never really paid attention to it. She hasn’t even started modelling and she has gotten married already?

How can she even do that? The manager didn’t say anything about it and he’s not trying to stop her from working here.

For someone who is just about to start modelling newly, marriage shouldn’t be a part of her plans yet but I guess some people were born dumb.

She’s too dumb to reason within herself and think about what’s best for her. I’m sure the man she got married to is nothing to write home about. Let me check their pictures.

I clicked on it and my jaws were left hanging when I saw the guys pictures. Mitchell is stunning but that can wait until later.

This Greek god I’m seeing must be an angel. You know those stories where angels come to earth and disguise themselves as human beings? This must be one of them.

I said Kevin was a Greek god right? Compared to the guy in this picture, Kevin is an ugly duckling. I never even imagined that there could be someone in this world who is as handsome as Kevin, talk more of someone who is ten times handsome than he is.

Now that I look closely, this guy’s face seems familiar. Where have I seen him before? Think Kathryn, think! I might have done something good for him so that’ll give me a chance to be closer to him.

Then it clicked! My driver almost hit someone when I was going for a shoot and it turned out to be this man. He was looking rough and tattered then so I said mean words to him.

“Way to go Kathryn Eduardo!” I commended myself

Why do I have to be so mean and rude all the time? The guy even tried to explain himself that day but I shunned him and called him names. I think I need to put a padlock on my mouth and throw the key away. That way, I won’t be able to say anything at all not to talk of insulting someone.

Now that I’ve gotten on his bad side, how do I get him to forgive him? I already vowed to make any guy that is more handsome than Kevin mine and I won’t go back on my word.

He has gotten married to Mitchell but it still doesn’t change anything. I’m going to make him mine no matter what it takes.

“Get the car ready, I need to pay a visit to the Campbells” I said into the phone and smirked after dropping the call

I need to impress someone with my dressing mode today, what should I wear. Mitchell Campbell, be expecting a very important guest soon.
