☀️ Selena’s POV ☀️
I stood with my mouth open as I watch the most handsome guy I’ve ever seen walk towards me, how can someone be so handsome, he has a long black hair, black thick eyebrows, long eyelashes accompanied with a pair of sexy blue eyes and a perfectly curved pink lips
“Who are you” he asked in a low but serious tone and I internally melted, everything about him is just so sexy, even his voice
“Am asking you a question” he said raising his voice and jerking me out of my little fantasy
“House….. housekeeper sir, am the new housekeeper” I stuttered as I spoke, gosh what is wrong with me
He looked at me from head to toe “housekeeper huh?, What kind of housekeeper are you coming late on your first day” he said as he walked into the sitting room and sat down on the couch and I stood in front of him
“Am sorry sir, actually I came late cause my mom….” I couldn’t finish up as he interrupted me
“Am not interested in your silly excuses” he said raising his palm signifying that I should stop
The manager was right, he is rude “am sorry sir” I said hoping he’ll just forget about my mistake and let it go
“How do you expect me to trust you with my house when you obviously aren’t responsible and u already gave a bad first impression”
“Am very sorry sir but I really have a good reason for my late coming, my mom is…..” He interrupted me again
“I said no excuses, and I don’t like repeating myself”
“But sir” I said unsure of what to say next, I agree this guy’s handsome but he’s also rude to the core
“What?” He asked looking at me
“Nothing sir, am very sorry for giving you a bad first impression about me, but I promise you Sir, I am very responsible and you can trust me with the housekeeping of your mansion” I said calmly trying to suppress the anger in me
He kept quiet and continued staring at me for some moment, before he finally broke the silence “You room is upstairs, third room by your left, do not waste much time in your room as it’s already time for lunch and am already famished”
“Thank you sir, I won’t ever give you a reason to complain” I bowed slightly, turned around and took the direction of the stairs as I found my way to my new room
I wowed as I stepped into my new room, this is beautiful 😀, most of the things were white, the walls, curtain, bed sheets , am beginning to think Mr Adrian’s favorite color is white
Speaking of Mr Adrian, that guy is so rude, I mean who talks to a lady like that “I said no excuses and I don’t like repeating myself” I mimicked him loudly and I hissed. If only he had allowed me to tell him why I came late, maybe he would have been able to give me some money to complete my mom’s hospital bill
I arranged my clothes in the wardrobe, and I decided to have a quick shower before I prepare lunch, so I opened the door to the bathroom and I wowed again, everything in this house is so beautiful
I quickly took a shower and I decided to put on a pink top and a knee-length skirt
I walked out of the room and went downstairs, I met Mr Adrian focused on his phone and I approached him
“What should I make for lunch Sir”
“I thought you won’t ever leave your room” he said looking at me
“Sorry sir, I just decided to have a shower before I start cooking”
“I don’t really have much foodstuffs right now but am sure there’s pasta remaining, so make the pasta and you’ll go get some foodstuffs in the evening”
“Okay sir” I turned to go
“Hey” he said before I could move two steps
“Yes?”
“Your name”
“Oh am sorry for not introducing myself earlier, my name is Selena Martin but you can call me Selene, am 25 and currently my mom is in…” And again, he interrupted
“That’s okay you can go now”
I walked away in anger, why won’t this guy let me tell him about my mom, am sure he can help me out but he’s always interrupting me, he is so rude
I walked to the kitchen and met the only ugly place in the house, this place is a mess, I guess this is why am here, I sighed as I put on gloves and started cleaning
⏳⏳ Two hours later ⏳⏳
I brought the pasta and two plates to the dinning table. I went to the living and called Mr Adrian to have his lunch
“Finally, I thought you were going to spend forever cooking ordinary pasta” he said and I rolled my eyes, was he not the one that messed up the kitchen that I spent hours on cleaning
I followed him to the dinning area and I took a plate and served Mr Adrian and I took the other plate and I served myself. I sat down on the chair and started digging in, I never knew that I was this hungry
“Miss Martin, don’t you have any manners at all?” He asked and his eyes locked with mine as I looked up, what is it again
“Why would you ask such a question sir”
“Why are you on sitting on that chair?”
What kind of question is that “Because am eating sir” I answered calmly
“While am eating?” He asked raising his brows
Like seriously! “Can’t I eat while you are eating” I asked maintaining my calmness
He shook his head and pointed his index finger at me “lemme make something clear, am your boss not someone with the same status as you and you dare not sit in the same dinning with me”
What the fuck🤯, I wish I had a knife to cut off that finger he’s pointing at me right now cause this guy is seriously getting on my nerves
He continued since I was just too angry and shocked to say a word “I guess it’s time I make some rules for you”
“Rules?” I asked taken aback
He dipped his hand is into his pocket and brought out a credit card
“Take this” he said dropping the card in front of me ” use it to get all the foodstuffs needed and when you come back from the shopping, we’ll talk about the rules” he concluded and resumed eating
What kind of guy is this, how am I going to survive living with him??
☀️ Adrian’s POV☀️
I heard the gate open and I knew she was back, I took the sheet of paper I from the table, I read through it again and I chuckled. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she sees all the rules I’ve made.
The door opened and she came in with shopping bags looking all tired and exhausted but who cares, this is why I employed her. But that girl is just so tactless, I mean how dare she eat on the same table with me, she’s just a maid and that’s an insult to my personality.
My eyes followed her as she went straight to the kitchen, she dropped the foodstuffs and started coming towards the living room. I quickly looked away from her and dropped the paper on the table
“Here’s your credit card sir” she said giving me the credit card. I collected it and gave her the sheet of paper without looking at her
☀️ Selena’s POV ☀️
I collected the paper wondering what could be in it and I was both shocked and surprised as I read through it
” Rules Miss Selena Martin must follow as long as she continues being Mr Alexandar Adrian’s housekeeper
1: She must always wake up and clean up the house before Mr Adrian wakes up
2: She must always address Mr Adrian with respect
3: She must never interrupt Mr Adrian when he’s speaking
4: She must never make Mr Adrian repeat himself
5: She must not sit while Mr Adrian is standing
6: She must always submit her phone to Mr Adrian every morning for him to check if she took any pictures of him secretly
7: She must always cook Mr Adrian’s meal on time
8: She must never eat in the same table with Mr Adrian
9: She must never raise her voice at Mr Adrian
10: She must always obey Mr Adrian
Failure to work with any one of the rules will lead to immediate termination of the housekeeping contract.”
What sort of rules is this, this is absolute nonsense. I looked at him with anger, this guy’s definitely crazy

☀️ Adrian’s POV ☀️
I watched as she read the rules with shock written all over her face, I chuckled silently as I continued watching her. Moments later she raised her head to look at me and I immediately pretend that I was busy with my phone
“Mr Adrian, please can I ask a question” she asked calmly
“Of course” I said dropping my phone on the table and focusing on her
“I don’t understand rule no. 6 sir, why should I submit my phone for checking every morning, I’ll never take pictures of you secretly”
I smiled as I looked at her, who does she want to fool, I ain’t falling for her trick, am the crush of almost every girl in the country, most girls will do anything to have a moment with me and now she wants me to believe that she won’t secretly take pictures of me and post it on the social media telling everyone she lives with Alexander Adrian “Of course that’s what you’ll say but I can’t risk a fan girl secretly taking my pictures and posting on social medias that she lives with me, you might even go to extend of posting that you are my girlfriend and I definitely can’t risk that cause that would ruin my reputation in the country”
She huffed and said still maintaining her calm voice “Reputation?, Are you some kind of important personality in the country Mr Adrian”
“Really?” I scoffed, it’s obvious she’s lying, there’s no one in the country that doesn’t know the young handsome billionaire “So you are trying to say that you don’t know who I am”
“You are my boss and that’s all I know or is there anything else I should know?” she asked with all seriousness
You got to be kidding me, does this girl really not know who I am “So you don’t know the young handsome billionaire who’s the highest real estates owner in the country?” I asked
“No I don’t, am I supposed to know him?”
Okay, this girl is definitely from the jungle, how else would she not know who I am, I knew she was weird the first moment I saw her
“Oh, wait” she said looking shocked “Don’t tell me you are the young handsome billionaire”
I just continued staring at her, this girl is unbelievable
“No wonder Lissa was so hyped up about you calling the agency for a housekeeper” she said probably thinking aloud “Am sorry Mr Adrian, I really wasn’t aware of how important and famous you are, but you’ve got nothing to worry about, I don’t even have a mobile phone”
She just added to my shock “You don’t have a mobile phone?” I asked not believing it
“Yes sir, I wasn’t really born with a silver spoon so I don’t have the luxury of owing a phone though I really wish to have one” she said with an innocent look and I suddenly felt pity for her, she must have gone through alot of hardships, a 25 year old lady with no phone that’s quite unheard of
“Okay, that’s good, you can go now” I managed to say
“Thank you sir” she said and left

I woke up, stood up from my bed and went to the bathroom, I bathed and dressed up in my blue suit. I walked downstairs and I was met with a very delicious aroma, I guess she have finished cooking
I walked to the dinning room and I met her setting the table and dishing out my food, she greeted and I sat down as she placed my food in front of me; chicken rice, yummy.
I finished up my food and left for work
The car pulled up in front of the company and my secretary rushed to open the door for me
“Good morning Mr Adrian” Alicia greeted as usual
“What’s my schedule for today” and asked in my usual serious tone
“There are some documents you need to review and sign sir”
“What documents is that” I asked as we walked into the elevator
“It’s concerning the new hotel we are building downtown, and you’ll also need to meet with the contractors”
“Okay, is that all?”
“Yes sir, but Mr Taylor called this morning to remind you of the party that will be holding tomorrow night”
Gosh, I totally forgot about it, I wonder what that cunning man is planning “I need a date for the party, so just get me any model available for tomorrow’s night” the elevator dinged and we stepped out
“Yes sir” she said as she followed me out
☀️Mr Taylor’s POV☀️
I sat down on the chair in my office thinking about tomorrow’s party, am going to embarrass that rude Adrian, the place is perfect although am not sure if he’ll even make it cause I’ve set some potholes for him, I smiled at myself, Adrian is nothing compared to me
I heard a knock on the door
“Come in” I said and my secretary, Kyle, walked in
“Good morning sir” he slightly bowed
“Kyle, am sure you have some good news for me”
“Yes sir, I’ve made sure he won’t be able get anyone to accompany him to the party, his absence is assured” he said and I smiled
“And the pictures?”
“Here they are sir” he said handing over an envelope
“Perfect” Now your doom is assured Adrian

☀️ Adrian’s POV☀️
I stretched my hand as I woke up, the sun is out already, i stood up, took my shower and wore something casual since I won’t be going to the company today. I went downstairs and as usual, the house was already clean and Selene was serving the breakfast. I took my seat and immediately my phone began ringing, it was Alicia and I answered it
“Good morning sir, sorry for disturbing you, I know you said you’ll be resting tod….”
“What’s wrong Alicia” I asked cutting her short
“It’s about your date for tonight’s party, no model is available for you to take Sir”
“What!!!, How’s that possible” I asked shocked
“I was surprised to sir, I’ve put a call to all the modeling agency I know but they all said they won’t be able to make it”
This is definitely Taylor’s plan, that old crook, what is he planning “No problem then, you can just come with me as my date”
“I’d really love to but you sent me downtown to supervise the construction of the new hotel”
“Oh yeah, I forgot” what am I going to do now, I can’t miss the party, I need to go to the party to know what Taylor is planning
“Don’t worry Alicia I’ll find a way out” I said and I cut the call
I dropped the phone on the table and caught Selene stealing glances at me while serving the food and I suddenly thought of an idea, why didn’t I think of this before and I was stressing myself
“Turn around” I said looking at Selena
“What?” She asked obviously surprised
“Remember the rules, I must not repeat myself”
Slowly, with a shocked expression on her face, she turned around and God, this girl has an amazing figure, with her long hair and cute oval face, she’s just perfect. Why didn’t I realize how beautiful she was before
