Natalie went to visit her old-time friend in the next street. She was heading home now. She stood at a park waiting for a cab to hauled.
Natalie was catching some cold. Shaking a bit coz she as not were a thick cloth or a sweater to protect herself from the cold.
The rainy season as just began. And it fell the moment Natalie step on her friend’s home. She curse herself from not wearing a thick clothe or a sweater. The things is that she had notice the weather changing, but had a lot in her mind and forget to put on something thicker.
Standing there, shivering from the cold, waiting for a cab to pass by.
A car halt at her corner and the person alighted. when she got a glimpse of the person, it was no other than Darrell her heartbeat. The cold was forgotten and even if it was cold Natalie felt heated in,side as he approach her.
” Natalie what are you doing here ” he asked surprisedly. And then he notice how she was shivering. He quickly took off his jacket and lean forward and cover her with the jacket.
” You’d should always put on something thicker since is already the raining part of the year. You’ll eventually be coldish if you don’t put on something suitable for the weather ” he said with absolutely love concern.
” Thanks for your concern sir ” she said without looking at his eyes.
” so you no longer enjoy calling me Darrell ” He murmured as he lifted her chin up and stare with glistening eyes.
Natalie was feeling heated in,side at his touch. Who lit her wh0le body.
” Sorry Darrell ” she said unthinkingly her own eyes glisten.
” Am sure you’re heading home. Let me drop you ” he suggested politely.
Natalie decided to follow him. He drop her and went away, but he told her he will still come to visit her. She can’t stop him no matter how many protest.

” He’d also drop you off ” Judy trilled.
Judy was back from school and she had seen Darrell through the window dropping her off .
” Judy stop irritating me” she frowned.
” hum! Since when do you wear male jacket ” Judy asked teasingly. Knowing fully well it Darrell’s.
Natalie glance at herself. She totally forget to give Darrell back the jacket.
” He just gave me the jacket coz I was cold ” she said.
” hum! You know big sis forget it all, you’re stubbornly made ” Judy shook her head and left for the kitchen.
” In case you’re looking for mum, she as gone to see Mrs Grace. Mrs Grace had been sick for awhile now ” Judy aired as she walk to the kitchen.
Natalie was in her room. She toss the jacket aside and went to put on her own sweater. Her eyes came to rest on the jacket once more. She smiled unknowingly and picked it up. She perceive the scent of the jacket and the thought of Darrell heated her body. She stood admiring the jacket and smiling continuously.
Judy came and saw her like that. She grin. She was happy that she had confirm her suspicious and was right along . She knew now that Natalie was in love with him too.
After a moment of watching her admiring the jacket. She cough and that jolted her back to her senses.
” Wha.. What ” she stuttered as she caught Judy grinning.
Judy chuckled and came closer.
” Nat I know you love him and Darrell loves you too. Please sis give Darrell a chance and both of you’ll be happy. I want to see you happy ” Judy pouted.
” I can’t be happy ” Natalie stated sadly.
” Nether will he ” she added , biting her lower lip.
” But why? ” Judy growled.
” Darrell’s family will not accept the relationsh¡p. Yes I do love him, but I can’t accept him. It’s better for the both of us ” Natalie explained sadly. She was battling with her feelings and yearning to be with Darrell at the same time.
” But Darrell doesn’t care about what his family thinks. If he does, he won’t be coming after you. No one have the right to come between love birds ” Judy frown.
Natalie gave a deep hurtful sigh. She really wanna be with Darrell.
” Nat just….
” Please I don’t wanna talk about this ” Natalie rebuke, cutting her short.
” Damn it ” Judy cussed and left.
Natalie sat down on her bed. She thought of the k-ss he gave her today and her body had butterflies in her tummy. She really wanna be with him, but her mind was rebelling against it. All her mind question is will his family accept them. She don’t wish to be hated by people surrounding the man she loves.

” ma’am I don’t know a lot about her. But she was closer to Beth more ” a maid said.
Tanya was in the Nee’s mansion. She was asking questions from a maid in the mansion. She wanna fish out information about Natalie. That was her mission here today. None of the Nee’s were around. So she seize this opportunity.
” Who’s Beth? ” She requested.
” She’s a maid here and very close to Natalie. She might have the information ” the maid said.
” Go call her. Tell her I summon her ” Tanya order with authority.
A minute later the maid came with Beth. She told the other maid to go and when she left she flick a sly grin.

” Give me information about Natalie now ” she requested rudely.
” Ma’am I can’t do that ” Beth retorted trembling and next look on Tanya’s face could kill.
” How dare you ” she slapped her.
” I can get you fired ” she yelled.
Beth heed her cheek and raised a trembling brow at her.
” Will you give me that much or you require another slap ” Tanya bark at her.
Beth leapt back a little.
” If you don’t give me what I want. I’ll have ma’am Olivia firing you. You bitch give me what I want ” Tanya warned again
” I want the information of that maid now ”
” and why do you wanna know about her ” she heard Darrell’s voice behind her.
She turn and saw Darrell with a scowl on his face. He was infuriated that she dare to come ask for information about the woman he loves. He was coming closer and Tanya shivered as he approach.

Tanya didn’t got the chance to run. He was right before her. He grab her wrist in a manner that made her wince. Tanya didn’t expect this, she thought he wasn’t around coz the maid who had called Beth had told her we wasn’t in the mansion. So where did he arrive from without she knowing.
Darrell watch as the very feminine fear he had inspired battle with Tanya’s eyes. He respect the fact he was scaring her. Darrell can be a darling sometimes and sometimes cold in a situation were he was compare to do so.
Tanya wince and he freed her, she held the wrist painfully. This wasn’t the man who had love her two years back. He won’t dare treat her like this. He handled her softly and tenderly with love. We won’t even dare look at her fiercely.
Beth isn’t surprise on how Darrell was behaving her. She’d wanted him to teach her a lesson. But at a second thought she shuddered, what of if she vent her anger all on her. She had refuse her the information and she might do as she threaten. If she gets fired how’ll she be able to complete the money for her brother’s leg surgery. She scurried at of sight.
” How dare you even think of coming here to ask for information about the woman I choose to be with ” he breathed.
” I didn’t know you were in all this time ” Tanya said, totally ignoring what he said.
Darrell shot her a mocking glance.
” Why do you wanna know about her? ” he asked angrily.
” em ah….
” Cat cut your tongue ” he bit out
” Why did you wanna know about her? ” he asked again impatiently.
” Darrell I love you and I want you. Am not okay with the fact that a maid wanna take you away from you ” she bit out.
” If you soo much love me why did you cheat on me. Was I not enough for you. You never had time for me. I always miss your attention. You’ll make me beg for your attention. And eventually you break my heart my running after that scandal. I was really shattered ” he said.
Tanya wrap her hands around his neck.
” I thought am forgiven ” she murmured.
” Yes I have ” he agreed yanking her gentle from her grip and placing her hands in her side.
” But I can’t come back to you. I had explained everything to you. Tanya the more you try to win me the more am going to love Natalie” he grinned.
Tanya glared.
” How can the famous son of Tyler Nee stoop to love a maid. She’s way off your class. She’ll tarnish your imagine. She’s….
” Stop it Tanya” Darrell gritted.
” I don’t care what you or others think. My advice to you is to stop seeking for information about her. If you’re planning in sometime bad, be ready I’ll be there to protect her. You won’t succeed ” Darrell warned ardently.
” You can leave now ” he pointed to the door.
” Darrell I want you. I’ll stop at nothing to win you back you’re my love ” Tanya cried.
” Can’t you see it impossible. Tanya leave now” he said infuriated.
Tanya left but she wasn’t gonna squelching her plan of finding Natalie. She hated Natalie for this. And once she had find her, she won’t spare her.

Tanya was at home. She sat in the bar of her home. She was squeezing a glass of wine she held. She remember the last statement.
” Darling what’s wrong with you ” Ned her father inquired with concern peeking her cheek.
” Dad a low life is about to take the man I love away from me” Tanya cried.
Ned frowned immediately.
” I want you to forget about him. He insulted you by choosing you over a maid. There are many suitors at there. Wealthy and sensible they’ll take you in. Forget the son of a fool. I had cancel the deal ” he said.
Tanya arched a brow at her dad.
” Why did you cancel that deal. I ask you to do this. So I can have Darrell and now you cancel the deal ” she was almost yelling at him.
” But he clearly don’t want you ” Ned said.
” Damn it dad. I want him. I don’t care what he thinks. I’ll have him ” she said with teary eyes and throw the glass to the floor. The glass splintered and the noise echo the wh0le place. Her mum approach when she heard the noise.
” What’s going on ” Carrie asked panicking as she touch her.
Tanya toss her hands off. She knew her mum wasn’t in support of what she want.
” I want Darrell ” she yelled.
” Why can’t you forget him. He clearly doesn’t want you. Stop forcing yourself on a man ” Carrie advice and Tanya glared.
She stood up infuriated and left their presence.

Natalie had gone in search of another job. But today was unsuccessful. She sighed as she remember the restaurant’s manager last words.
” Sorry there is no vacancy ”
She hope to find a job. She was walking through a shortcut which was lonely.
The road wasn’t lonely during the morning time when she took it, but it as become lonely this afternoon. But the weather was cold and the sky was pitch dark and it was protuberant about to give birth to it’s rain.
She hadn’t forgot to put on sweater this time around. She put her two hands on her trouser’s pocket.
She was having a strange s-nsation of taking this part. She wonder why the road was lonely.
Suddenly she heard whiffling of the woods around and stuffing of feets. She shuddered and made for a run. But it was too late some thugs emerging for the woods and surround her.
They was four of them. They were armed and Natalie felt her heart limping to her mouth and was frighten.
” What do you will do with her ” one of them said.
” Hmm, it as been so long I had felt a woman’s flesh. Let’s all have her. My manh-od is already speaking for it’s self ” another one said and they gave a random laughter.
Natalie yelps, she knew what they were about to do. They were going to rape her.
