“Where are you coming from.. Annabelle?”

Annabelle turn her head only to see him sitting on her couch around the corner.

“Ricky” She muttered.

“Answer me Annabelle, where are you coming from?” Ricky asked in a cold tone.

“It’s none of your business” She lightly.

Ricky stood up from his place and went to grab her by the neck. “None of my business? Are you slowly betraying the clan. You know how much trouble you’ll get in once my brother finds out. How could you?!” He spat.

Annabelle breath was siezed because of the way he grip her neck. One thing about Ricky, he loves his elder brother more than anything. He is a jovial type of person but dangerous whenever he is angry.

“I’m.. not.. betraying the clan.. I..diot” Annabelle manage to speak.

Ricky released her with a frown on his face. He knows Annabelle never tells lies even at the point of death “Where were you then?”

“Do I have to tell you?” She asked.

“Then you don’t mind me telling Lord Smith that I caught you sneaking into your room in the middle of the night” He raise his brow.

“Fine” Annabelle breath out and went to take the teddy bear from her bag. “Do you know anything about this?” She asked.

Ricky stared at it for moment before replying. “No, where did you get this?”

“I saw it around a corner of my room years ago” she replied staring at it.

“Then what does it have to do with you sneaking out?” He asked.

Annabelle explained everything to him excluding the part if her meeting Ethan. She felt that part isn’t necessary.

Ricky sighed lightly. At least she is not betraying his brother. “I.. I am sorry.. I.. held your neck.. but I can help you find out who that woman is. Bianca is pretty fast..”

“I don’t want her to know about it and I need you to keep it as a secret”

“What do I get in return” Ricky walked closer to her.

“What do you want?” She asked.

“You’ll know once you’ve complete researches. Fortunately, Lord Smith went on a mission and he’ll be back after a while. Make sure you’re done before he comes back.. I’ll cover up for you” He said lightly. He made to touch her chin but she shifted back.

Ricky retreat his hand and sighed. ‘You’ll be mine’ he thought to himself.

“Don’t forget your promise” He said before leaving the room. A smirk graced on his lips.

Annabelle stood on her spot. Lord Smith went on a mission without telling her or taking her along? That’s pretty strange.

Well.. as far she can use this opportunity to find out about the woman, then she is fine with it.

(NEXT DAY.. BRILLIANT HIGH)

“Pass the ball!!” Ethan yelled waving his hand.

“Bastian!” He yelled again but Bastian went ahead to score the goal. Though, he almost missed the shot.

“Hell yeah” Bastian muttered clinching his fist. He smiled to the girls screaming his name. His gaze went to Jennifer, she rolled her eyes at him and his smile disappeared.

“Really, I told you to pass the ball. Why didn’t you?” Ethan asked walking towards him with an upset look.

“I didn’t pass the ball cus I don’t want to dickface” Bathian said walking close to him too.

“Really? Is this how you define team? Acting on your own weaken the team.. you know that, right?” Ethan said gritting his teeth.

“You’re just mad because I scored the fucking goal!” Bastian spat.

“In which you almost missed, doughebag!” Ethan yelled back.

“What did you call me?” Bastian held his shirt.

“Hey! Hey!” The couch yelled and blow his whistle. “What is wrong with you two?”

Ethan jerk Bastian hand away from his shirt and glared at him. Liam ran towards them.

“Hey, Ethan, it’s alright.. let’s go” Liam said dragging Ethan with him.

“I fucking hate him” Ethan said.

“Hatred in the team is not allowed” Liam said.

“That motherfucker loves acting alone. He could have missed the shot. If he had passed the ball to me then that will be three points. He is a psycho!”

“Shh!! Ethan.. did you forget we are in school? Mind the word you use”

“Whatever” Ethan muttered. He sweep his hair backwards and grab a towel before leaving the court.

“Here” Jennifer walked towards him with a bottle water.

Ethan collect it from her and drink out of it. “Thanks” he said returning the remaining one.

“You did really great” she said.

“Thanks Jennie. Don’t you have a dance practice? I didn’t expect you to show up” Ethan said.

At that moment, Bastian also show up. His gaze was cold as he watch them talking to each other.

“How about we teach him a lesson” one of his friends behind him suggest.

“I’m gonna break his fucking bones” Bastian gritted his teeth before walking away in pure anger.

“I couldn’t miss your match, we have a dance show coming up next week. I hope you don’t forget” Jennifer said to Ethan.

“I won’t. I’ll show up. I promise” He replied but then spot the girl he had been craving to see since morning. “Bye, I’ll see you later” he said to Jennifer and left before she could say another thing.

Annabelle kept some of her books in her locker. She made to close the door.

“Boom!!!” Ethan exclaimed but the girl didn’t flinch one bit. Having a disappointed look he asked. “Aren’t you scared?”

“The only thing that can scare me is nothing” Annabelle replied sharply.

“Oh really.. horror movies doesn’t scare you? Have you ever watch one before?” He asked.

“I don’t watch movies. It’s prohibited” She replied.

“What why? What kind of parent doesn’t allow it?”

“My parent are dead” she said lightly and walk pass him.

“Oh” Ethan felt bad a little. He knows how it feels losing someone. He lost his dad when he was young.. Annabelle must feel so down losing both of her parent.

“I’m sorry about that.. I didn’t know…” He apologized walking behind her.

“There’s no need to apologize. I have no memories of them anyway” She replied.

“Is that why you wanna learn how to use a computer so you can find out about them?” He asked and she stopped her track and look at him. Ethan smiled observing her face.

“Your eyes are beautiful” he muttered causing Annabelle to frown a little. This would be the first time someone would actually say those words to her.

“You only do not look weird. Your words are weird too” she said and he chuckled. He was actually enjoying this conversation with her.

“I was only saying truth” He grin showing his dimples.

“Your smiles are weird”

“I’ll take that as a compliment” Ethan said.

Just around the corner, A figure focus his gaze on Annabelle. His breath was shaky as he kept on staring at her.

“Lord Smith’s weapon?”

Annabelle felt the aura and look back but the figure hide quickly. She return her gaze to Ethan and spoke.

“You should watch a movie with us after School.. please don’t say no” he plead.

“Okay” Annabelle agreed.

Ethan eyes widened. He didn’t expect her to accept his offer. “Cool”

“One, two, three and turn.. twist your waist and clap your hands!” Mrs Georgia exclaimed as the students danced before her.

Jennifer staggered a little and she sighed.

“You are a little off Jennifer, is there anything bothering you?” Mrs Georgia asked.

“I guess her boyfriend broke her heart. That’s why she even came late for practice” Patricia said and the other students chuckled.

“Patricia!” Mrs Georgia snap and they all kept quiet.

“Why do you always favour a girl like her. She is a low class who got into the school through scholarship” Patricia rolled her eyes.

Jennifer bow a little to Georgia ignoring Patricia’s word “I’m sorry, I just feel a little tired that’s why”

The door opened and a man in suit walked in. He is the main teacher for the dance class while Georgia is the assistant.

“Good afternoon Mr Roman” They all chorused.

“Afternoon student” Roman greeted back.

“Is everything okay, you look a little paled” Patricia said.

“Ahh I’m fine” Roman said quickly. The thought that Lord Smith’s weapon is in the School baffled him a lot. This is sure a big problem. He composed himself.

“Have anyone heard from Nana?” He asked.

“No sir” they chorused.

“I went their home yesterday and her parent haven’t seen her either. It’s been a week sir. I hope she is not leaving the same was Ura left” Jennifer said.

“Yeah, Ura was also missing before they announced she travelled out of the country” A girl said beside her.

“Gosh you think like a kid” Patricia said to Jennifer but didn’t get a reply.

Roman eyes changed for a moment. “Hm, I’ll be right back. Georgia continue with the students. I have something to do” He said before leaving.

“He seems a little off” Jennifer muttered.

“Get set girl!!” Georgia exclaimed and they all went back to position.

(UNKNOWN ROOM)

In a dark room, an highschool girl was tied on a chair. She kept on sobbing every second as the fear growing inside her was unbearable. She have no idea where she is. That monster took her and made her starve for three days straight.

She wants to scream for help but her lips was covered by duct tape. The whole room have this stinky smell.

‘Help’ that was the only word ringing in her head.

The door opened and she shudder in fear. The man monster is here. Roman!

“You’re still crying huh?” Roman asked walking close to her. “I saw a strange thing in school today, it was quite disturbing”

He crunch a little and raised his hand to her breast covered in her highschool uniform.

“You’re beautiful Nana. You know that right?” He asked lightly.

Nana shut her eyes tightly as she felt the man hand caressing her left breast. The next thing she heard was the tear of her uniform. Her two breast was now naked before him.

“Please” her voice came out as a hum instead.

Roman grab her nipple and gave her a light squeeze. “I’m so hard” he said in an husky voice. Nana was trembling already.

His mind went to Annabelle and he squeeze her breast tighter earning a cry of pain from her.

“Where is he? I obviously told him to come by here five.. The movie will be starting soon” Liam complained looking handsome on his sweatshirt.

“Maybe he is busy fucking around” Selene said. She was wearing her big trouser and shirt.

“Geez Selene, you forgot your brain at home or something? Ethan is not like that anymore” Liam asked.

“What did you just say?” Selene glared at him and he swallowed.

“Nothing” He quickly replied.

Jennifer was quiet the whole time. She was a bit anxious of seeing Ethan.

Selene tapped Liam by his waist. “Jennifer look so pretty, you know why?” She whispered.

“Why?” Liam asked.

“Ethan. Poor girl has feeling for him but didn’t tell him” Selene replied.

Liam frowned. “Are you high?”

“You’re so clumsy you didn’t notice it.. huh? She obviously likes Ethan” Selene said and they both stared at Jennifer.

“Is that so” Liam mumbled to himself.

Meanwhile, Ethan was on way already. He actually got delayed because he was waiting for Annabelle. Getting to a corner, a punch land on his stomach causing him to stagger.

“Fuck!” He cursed under his breath, he find Bastian staring down at him with a smirk.

“What the hell was that!” Ethan yelled walking close to him with a cold look. He look behind Bastian and saw three more guys.

“You always piss me off Ethan. I can’t believe my girl was staring at you during the match”

Ethan immediately sensed the danger. They are here to hurt him.

“This is wrong, you’ll get into trouble..”

“Trouble? This isn’t the school Ethan, I can do whatever I want” Bastian smirked.

Bastian grab Ethan’s shirt. “I’ll destroy that face of yours so no girl would ever want…”

His words were cut short by Ethan punching him hard on the face. He touched his lips and found it bleeding.

“Go to hell” Ethan said and made to leave.

The other guys charged towards him immediately and began to throw him punches. Ethan tried his best to avoid them but he wasn’t that strong. These guys are gangsters. A kick land on his stomach and he crunch down.

Bastian gave him another hit on his face sending him down on his floor. By the time he opened his eyes, he found Annabelle staring down at him with a blank look on her face. She was wearing a black hoodie and a short black skirt. Her long black hair falls on both shoulders.

Even with the pain, Ethan let out a smile. “Hey, I thought you won’t show up” he muttered still laying on the floor.

“You’re not only weird, but weak too” Annabelle said lightly to him.

Ethan stood on his feet slowly and faced her. He have some bruise on his right eyes. “Why are you so late.. huh? I’ve been waiting for you”

“Who is this? Your girlfriend?” Bastian asked loudly. His friends chuckled behind him. His eyes scan Annabelle from head to toe. She look sweet.. but what a strange aura..

“Let’s go” Ethan said to Annabelle.

“Hey! We have unfinished business here, tell your little bitch should fuck off” Bastian said rudely.

Annabelle face changed a little.

“Watch it!” Ethan yelled.

“Bitch” Annabelle muttered. That word triggered something in her.

Bastian walk towards her and made to touch her, but that was his mistake. Annabelle grab his hand and flung him down to the floor. Blood came out of his lips like a small fountain. Her move was fast, his mind took several seconds before he could process what just happened.

This tiny girl flung him down to the floor? He is sure, he is twice and half times her size.

Ethan eyes widened. The other guys were shock too.

Annabelle didn’t stopped there. She twisted Bastian’s hand behind causing him to groan out the more.

“Fuck! You’re getting into trouble for this!” He yelled.

“This isn’t school, I can do whatever I want” she said his word.

“Ahhh! Stopp!!” Bastian yelled when he felt her twist his hand harder.

Annabelle raised her gaze towards Ethan who was blinking severally at the scene. Her question snapped him back to earth..

“Hey Weirdo, how many fingers should I break?… Five or Ten?”
