“I don’t get you, she is what?” Audrey asked, looking so confused. “Don’t you hear me or you’re just pretending, I said this is my new wife, your step mother”. Her father said proudly. Audrey moved closer to her Dad, she dropped her bag slowly on the chair and stood right in front of him. Both her Dad and the lady looked up at her “What are you doing” Her Dad asked. “Actually I can’t understand you, I just want to be clear about what you said, this is your new wife? Ok Fine, you brought a new wife home and you still went in to bring mum out of her room while she was resting. Remember you don’t normally go to my mum’s room, but you went in and forced her out of her room? Just to see your new wife? Audrey asked angrily,Her Dad stood up at her “Are you questioning my authority right now?” Her Dad asked. Audrey made a smirk with tears already formed in her eyes. “Authority you said? Dad you brought another woman home and you still went into my mum’s room and brought her out just to show her to your new wife and make jest of her,is that not true? you left her on that chair crying and watching you and your new wife; even if you don’t love my mum, at least don’t you have a little bit of human sympathy? Don’t you have…” Twash! her Dad landed a slap on her cheek before she could even finish her statement. The lady who was seated quickly stood up and stopped him from hitting her again. Audrey’s mum tried getting up from her wheelchair but she couldn’t, she only sat back and broke into tears.
Audrey raised her head to her Dad with a smirk and a mixture of evil smile on her face. “The second time you are going to raise your hand to hit me…” she said. “Please, leave her alone, take it easy dear” the woman said to Audrey’s Dad. Audrey looked at her with so much hatred written all over her face. “Did… you just interfere between me and my Dad?” Audrey asked firmly. “How dare you talk to wife that way!” Her Dad said angrily,ready to hit her but the new wife quickly stopped him. “You need to respect me in this house and while you are doing that, you should give my wife all the respect she deserves”. He said angrily. “And what about her” Audrey asked “Yeah what about her? you called her your wife and what about her?” Audrey asked pointing to her mum. “Are you crazy? Is this you or someone else?” Her Dad asked. “Dad who do you think I am? It’s me your daughter,You are really driving me crazy right now. Firstly, you sent Deborah away without any good reason.
Secondly, I requested for a personal uber, just to make things easy all because I’m the only one doing everything since you sent Deborah away,but you turned down my request. And now you brought in another woman, just to show her to the woman you’ve spent more than twenty years with, you couldn’t love her for that wh0le twenty-two years but you are able to fall in love with another woman within a year, which I’m deeply sure that you met this woman and it can’t be up to a year yet, and now you’re asking if I’m crazy? Dad I’m crazy! Yes I’m crazy!!” She scre-med loudly as tears never ceased to flow down her cheeks. Her Dad almost hit her but the woman dragged him to his room.
Audrey fell to her the chair weeping profusely, forgetting her mum was also in the living room with her. After crying for what seems forever, she heard someone sniffing; she looked back and saw her mum in tears. She was shocked and quickly stood to her feet, wiping her tears. “Mum were you crying? I’m so sorry mum, I’m sorry…i was really lost for a while” she said while wiping tears off her mum’s face “I’m sorry….Sorry…..sorry….sorry” she kept repeating while she remained in hug with her mum just to console her.

Dora and her friends were at the club partying happily. They poured each other drinks, singing and scre-ming happily. Suddenly, a guy walked into the club and he seems to have stolen everyone’s attention. He walked to the barman and ordered for a drink before taking his seat. The guy was looking so fresh with his light skin, moderate height, nice body and abs, mehn! He was in white top with jean trouser and white sneakers. He also had black sunglasses on and a golden necklace. He looked so smart and attractive while he walked to his seat. Ladies in the club couldn’t stop drooling. Dora and her friends also saw the guy. “That guy is so hot” one of the girls said. The guy then turned and found Dora and her friends looking at him so he gave them a smile. Not long, his drink was served; Dora couldn’t stop staring at him. “I want to know him” She said and stood to meet him. Her friends smiled at her “She’s crazy” one said jokingly.
“Hey handsome” Dora said “Hello” he replied with a cool voice. “Can i sit with you” she asked. “Yes please do” he replied. “My name is Dora and you?” “I’m Clinton by name”. He replied “You have a nice name and i like your voice” Dora said with a smile. “You are also beautiful i must confess” He complimented while Dora blushed. Unexpectedly, the guy went for Dora’s hand and planted a soft k-ss on her; Dora was blushing. She looked back at her friends who were watching them, she smiled at them. The guy gave her a soft smile while she also smiled back at him. “Do you mind if I take you out of here to a very nice place” The guy asked softly “Of course no problem, anywhere” she smiled happily. . . . .
Dora’s POV✌️
I woke up feeling headache; i opened my eyes slowly only to for me to found myself in a room. I tried to flash back how i got here and then i remembered the guy i met at the club. He had brought me to the hotel. He asked me to have my shower first which i did, i got back and saw him having a drink to himself. He already poured mine and was waiting for me to finish my shower. He gave me my drink while i drank from it, then….th….then… “Oh my God, what happened after that? I asked no one but myself. I jumped out of the bed only for me to realize that i was stark unclad. My eyes almost popped out as i started having so many weird thoughts. I pray it’s not what i was thinking; i don’t remember what happened after that. I saw a note beside the bed; i quickly grabbed to check, “Good morning, how was your night? I’m sure you are having many thought through your mind right now, well whatever you are thinking right now is right and yes we had fun yesterday. I want to remember that fun and that was why i made a little video of us yesterday. Don’t freak out because you also enjoyed the damn thing; if you have anything to say to me, call the number below.” That was all he wrote. “I am doomed” i muttered and broke down in tears.

At Jay’s house, Kelvin, Prince and Jay all sat together with Clinton in the living room. A phone was on the table in their midst and they seemed to be expecting a call. “Are you sure she is going to call?” Kelvin asked. “Don’t freak out she will, probable she is just waking up” Clinton replied with a smirk. “Ok so…” Kelvin continued but a call came. “I told y’all” Clinton replied. “How do you know if she’s the one calling” Prince asked. “No one has this number but her, and when I’m done I’ll break the sim; i just got the sim for her alone” Clinton replied. “Wow” Kelvin muttered “I told you he is good” Jay replied with pride.
“Didn’t you touch her yesterday?” Prince asked, looking so worried a little bit “I will never touch a lady who is not aware that I’m touching her, she went into deep sleep yesterday and there was no way i was going to have s€× with someone like that. I didn’t even make a single video of her, not even a picture” Clinton said. “I told you guys to trust me; i don’t give you guys novice, Clinton is a pro here” Jay said proudly with smiles but Prince and Kelvin didn’t seem to believe him. “You know what Prince? I understand what you are trying to get, but believe me when i say i didn’t touch that girl, everything is just fake, It’s just to make her stop whatever she’s doing, if you haven’t trust anyone before, let me be the first” Clinton said firmly. Prince looked at him and gave him just a nod.
Dora’s call came in the phone the second time; Clinton signaled to everyone to remain silent. He picked the call and put it on loudspeaker for the other guys to hear their conversation. “How dare you” Dora shouted from the phone. “Are you calling to shout on me or what” Clinton asked. There was a dead silent from her for a while. “I’m very sorry” she said softly. “Sorry for what?” Clinton asked. “I’m sorry for yelling at you, but please how could you do this to me?” She asked. “Do you want to know why?” He asked “Yes please” she replied, her voice sounding as someone who was about to burst into tears.
“Audrey” Clinton said. “What?” she asked surprisingly. “Audrey, I’m sure you know that name” Clinton said. “So you mean Audrey sent you?” She asked. “Pssh, she doesn’t know anything about this, she don’t even know if i exist. Well, since you know her, I’m sure you already know why I’m doing this or do you want me to explain it to you?” Clinton asked. “O….of course no, you want me to stop bothering her?” she asked. “Yes and there is one more thing”. “What’s that please?” She asked “You are not only staying away from her, you are also to protect her at all cost; if anything should happen to her you are gone and just to let you know that my eyes will always be on you, your every moves and steps starting from today, I’m watching you Dora, if anything happens to her i promise to make you pay for it, understood? He asked firmly “Y…yes i do, and please what about the video?” “I told you that will be a memory, stay away from Audrey and don’t bother me with calls; I’m watching all your moves” with that Clinton hanged up the call.
“Wow! Honestly i got goose bumps right now, guy you’re so dope and freaking cool” Kelvin complimented while Clinton just smiled. “Thank you Clinton” Prince said.” You are welcome” he replied. “Well, you are staying with me for few days or?” Jay asked “Nope, my flight is tomorrow night, besides your boyfriend is going to kill me If he finds out that there’s another guy sleeping with his boyfriend” Clinton said jokingly. “So you don’t base in this country? Prince asked. “Yes i don’t base here, i base in US actually” Clinton replied. “Sounds cool, both him and Dora can’t bump into each other” Kelvin said. “Even if we meet, she is not going to do anything, if she’s wise enough she should just stay low” Clinton said. “That’s my guy” Jay said poking Clinton and they all smiled at each other. . . . .
Audrey’s POV✌️
Believe me, I’ve been trying to keep cool with my Dad’s new wife. My Dad had warned me earlier that if i should disrespect her, he would send both i and my mum packing. I never knew that he would go this extent, He’s going to send me and my mum away because of his new wife. She always try to talk to me but i just don’t want to have anything to do with her; to me she came to take my mum’s position how can I open my mouth to talk to such person. My only aim is to make my mum feel better and move out of my Dad’s house but that will only be possible if my mum can walk on her feet again. I arrived back at home but was surprised to see a stranger in our living room. I wonder what’s going on in this house lately. The guy sat in the living room smoking, i mean he’s smoking…who gave this kind of person the audacity. I walked down to him angrily dropped my bag on the chair, “And who are you please?” I asked, but he gave me a smirk or should I say a flirty look, he stared at me from head to toe and smirked again. “Who do you think i am” He asked. “Young man, I’m asking you for the last time, who are you?” I asked angrily “Your future husband” came his reply. . . . .
