Episode 25

Hellen stood there holding her mouth failing to understand what had just happened. She prayed that nothing bad happened to Morg-n. She then went were her friend who was getting undressed was.

As Morg-n went on running a few more students joined the chase. He ran as fast as he could knowing very well that once caught, his explanation would fall on deaf ears. Fortunately, the adrenaline supercharged into his body and his running skill made it difficult for the students to catch up with him. The students were lagging behind him in about 30 metres. He got to the car park and before they could cover that 30 metres difference, he sped off in his vehicle. That was his luck fate!

“Cathy, do you know that you have endangered the life of Morg-n?” Hellen asked.
“Yes I know. And do you know that he also endangered my life by disappointing me? I would have died. The he has felt that’s how I felt” Cathy answered.
“This is not fair by the way”
“Why are you protecting him? Don’t make me think you are eyeing him!”
“What? Why?”
“Then join my side of punishing him”
“I believe in talking things out. I suggest that you talk to him and make it clear that you are no longer interested in him anymore.”
“I have made it clear already. If he doesn’t have sense, he will die now”
“You are being too emotional”
“Listen Hellen, when you are starting your relationsh¡p, it has to be built on trust. See what he did. He lied to me, he pretended to and made a monkey out of me. How could our relationsh¡p thrive even if we start it again? Cheating and lie in the first stage of a relationsh¡p is a red flag”

TWO MONTHS LATER
Morg-n never made an effort to meet or talk to Cathy again. He could have been clearly given a signal that she was no longer interested in him by the chase from the campus. It was time for him to look at different places for love.
This is what happens when someone wants to play with the feelings of those who love them. Morg-n had a fiance who loved her. He also went into making Cathy fall for her of which she loved him genuinely. The moment his cheating escaped got bared out in the broad daylight, he lost both of the woman. “You should take good care of yourself for me. I don’t want to hear that anything bad has happened to you” Cathy said.
“I will and you should take care of yourself too” Hellen said.
Cathy was going on a field trip to do some research on her engineering assignment with her fellow students. They were to be out for three days as they were going out of the town.
“Have a safe journey” she said as she hugged her.
Cathy got into thw university bus and sat on a seat beside the window. They waved with Hellen as the bus started off.
Hellen went back to her room to work on some stuff she had left. She knew that she would be lonely without her confidante. The only consolation was the presence of the sweet Lawrence.
That evening Lawrence called her so that they could meet.
“This is when I am about to take a shower. Let me call you when am done” Hellen said.
“I can’t wait any longer. Can I come and wait for you at your room?”
“Aaaah I…..”
“Come one just say yes”
“Okay come you will find me in the shower so just enter the room.”
“Okay”
Hellen went to take a quick shower. When she was done she came and started applying lotion whilst covered in a bathing towel.
Lawrence came at this point. Whatever that ran in his mind, he didn’t want to get in directly. A little devil in him told him to prep through the keyh0le on the door to see what was in,side.
When started peeping, he saw Hellen in a towel only applying lotion on her body. She then dropped her towel remaining completely nude. Lawrence could see all her back part. He couldn’t help admiring the smooth flawless skin and her well built behind.

In line with his wish, she slowly turned around exposing her most temptations part to Lawrence. “We will watch it from here because my room is really busy. My roommate is busy with friends doing their project.”

They sat on Hellen’s bed as they discussed which movie to watch. They finally settled on watching an Indian movie ‘i hate love stories’. During the course of the movie, Lawrence held Hellen close to himself. As the movie was more than two hours long, the time it finished the wh0le campus was dead quiet as people had retired to bed.
“It was a nice movie” he said.
“Yeah, i like it so much”
“Hellen you are so beautiful. I love you so much.” He said looking into her eyes.
“I love you too Lawrence”
He then bent in k-ssing her softly. The k-ssing went on until it became a passionate one. The breathing rate of both of them started increasing as the hormones started racing in them preparing for anything. As they went on k-ssing Lawrence removed her spectacles, put them down, resumed k-ssing.

“Are you afraid that I might run away after we do it?”

Hellen was surprised with the reaction she got from Lawrence. He was such a gentleman and out of nowhere, she was so angry. She was really heartbroken that her boyfriend made it clear to her that if she doesn’t want to get intimate then their relationsh¡p was no more.
Hellen didn’t know what to do next. At that moment she wished she wished Cathy was there so that she could share what had happened with her. With a lot of hate and sadness, Hellen retired to bed.

The next morning was so different for Hellen. The reality of Lawrence being out of her life seemed like a nightmare to her. She enjoyed the feeling of knowing that there was someone who kept her special.
She got prepared and went ro attend a lecture. When the lecture was done, she headed back to her room. Just then her male course mate came to her.
“Hellen, you don’t seem fine today, is everything okay?” He asked.
“Oh, Alick, am fine”
“You are not fine. Even the tone of your voice says it all. Is it because Cathy is out or you fought with your prince charming?”
“Ah no, we didn’t fight”
“Why has your answer foccused on him and not Cathy? I sense something. Let’s go there we sit and talk”
“No, am fine”
“I won’t let you go until we talk. Cathy won’t spare me knowing you were living sad here”
Alick insisted until they went and sat on the moulded benches.
“Tell me everything. I promise that whatever we talk about here will be between us” he said to her.
Hellen looked at him and wondered if he was the right person to talk to. The sincerity in his eyes encouraged her to talk to him.
“Alick, I just need to find out something from you.”
“Okay”
“Would you break up with your girlfriend if she doesn’t want to get intimate with you?”
“It depends”
“Meaning?”
“If I have spent a lot of her, I will definitely have to have a piece of her wa-ist. If I hærdly spend on her then why cry foul if she doesn’t want?”

At this point, Hellen felt like he was talking about what she did by inviting Lawrence to her room when she was alone.
“Okay Alick what happened is that yesterday my guy came to my room and I stopped him from doing it. He got angry and said that we are done”
“Oh okay. You mean he was in that readiness to do it and you stopped him?”
“Yeah”

When Cathy came back from her field trip, Hellen was so happy to see her friend again. She knew that they were to catch up on different topics. Hellen had not told Cathy anything about what happened between her and Lawrence. She wanted to speak to her in person.
“Yeah so that is what happened” said Hellen after narrating what happened between Lawrence and her to Cathy.
“Did you say he even touched your carburetor?” Asked Cathy.
“Which carburetor?”
“I mean your turbo booster”
“Where are you getting these terms from?”
“Hellen they are jargon. I am talking about if he touched your h0πeyp0t”
“He just felt it but before he could proceed I stopped him”
“Wow. Hellen you are a giant. I admire you so much.”
“Really?”
“Yes. If it was me, just touching my th-gh, I would have realised what would have followed later after seeing the butterflies. Please keep it up and God will really bless you”

“Welcome. So has he called since that day?”
“No, he hasn’t”
“He is wicked. He just wanted your four stroke engine and nothing else. If he doesn’t get back to you, then he was not meant for you. Don’t you call him.”
