Chapter Forty Five: I AMOR YOU
I have come to realize Betty still do not believe I choose her, she still has doubts, but how do I clear those tiny obstacles in our way? ” amor, you need to rest” she pout her lips then pull me closer, my head resting on her neck, I had to hold my weight from crushing her.
” stay with me” she gasp, from her voice you will know she is still sleepy ” don’t leave me okay??” Withdrawing I notice she is waiting for my reply, nodding I bite her ear gently.
” am never leaving you amor ” smiling I mumble ” you should know I can’t leave you okay, you’re mine forever ” she giggle softly then bite her lower lip ” okaww” she yawn making her words sound funny, watching her close her eyes I smile.
She sleep so soundly like they is no worry in the world.
Removing her hand gently from my neck I withdraw back then out of the room, I have to deal with Stella sooner not later, I still need her power, marriage is out of the line but I have to get it one way or another.
The main problem right now is getting that power from Stella I need to connect with her then suck it out of her or she needs to give it willingly ” v??” She mumble the moment I step out of my chamber, watching her run towards my direction I remain still as she hug me ” what’s wrong” she cry ” aren’t we getting married anymore??”
” no Stella ” pushing her back I watch her face, those blue eyes fading, bringing out her real self, real colour ” you act too childish for my liking Stella”
” what do you mean ”
” I do not like you, I prefer Betty do you know why??” She remain still, her red eyes glittering with annoyance even when she doesn’t know how to fully use her power, the blue contact lens has fallen already ” she gives me everything, whatever I ask for”
” I can do that v, I can give you anything ” she rush her words while I remain still, emotionless ” I can give you everything ”
” even your power??” Furrowing my brows I look at her ” will you give me that, you will give me that even though you know I will not marry you” watching her step back I smile then shake my head” I told you, you can’t do all that for me then how do I know if you’re a good wife material? ”
” but….” Lifting my hands I shut her up ” don’t say more Stella, when you decide you know where to find me but for now go home, go to your clan. Amor will not like to see you here”
” are you seriously pushing me out of your mansion!!” She growl ” you do know that you belong to me, she will not have you, I will kill …. ” before she could complete her sentence my hand wrap itself around her neck and lift her up, I watch her struggle.
” Betty belong to me, no body touches her not even a pest like yourself ” letting her go I watch how she gasp for air ” leave before I kill you myself ”
” so she really is your mate??” Looking down at Stella I smile which made her gasp out of surprise ” then why were you keeping me, giving me false hope ” bending down I look at her.
” I will keep you at my side if you choose to give me what I want Stella, you will be by my side, don’t you want that ” she remain still ” think about it but for now, you should leave and put in mind that no body touches what’s mine” standing I turn around and walk back into the room for a fresh bath.
Stretching my body I turn around then yawn, I feel so weak and tired, what have I been doing??? ” so weak” standing up my eyes are still closed as I take off my dress, open my eyes, look for a towel then open the bathroom room which surprise the hell out of me, am looking at Verdun naked body, only his back though, the shower is running.
I know I should shut the door but I just couldn’t, he still doesn’t know am looking or does he? ” what is it amor” he turn around, my eyes dare not go down ” won’t you join me amor” he must have said something but I didn’t really pay attention to that, looking at his broad shoulder, abs then…..I couldn’t help but to check him out ” if you look at me like that I can’t help but to get hard amor ” he groan, he truly is hard ” come here ” how can he get so hard from just looking and most importantly, how will that thing fit me ” amor!!” He growl which got my attention ” come here ”
” oh no ” shutting the door I lean on it trying to catch my breath ” amor open this door right now!”
” why??”
” because I want you to ” swallowing I nod, open the door and the next thing happening is him pulling me in, shutting the door and my towel falling.
My head almost explode when I realize am pressed to the wall naked and he is staring down at me, the water making my body wet ” stop being shy amor ”
” am not ” looking up at him, he furrow his brows ” am not shy Verdun, is just that…” my hands move to cover my tits but he caught them and pin them above my head ” what are you doing ??” Rushing my words, my face must be different shade of red right now.
” what” he lean close ” you saw me naked so why can’t I do the same ”
” its different ”
” how???” Furrowing his brows I pout my lips but when he cup my tits in his hands my eyes widen out of surprise, moving my gaze to his face I watch him smile while licking his lips ” its your fault am so horny amor, you shouldn’t look at a man like you did ”
” but you’re mine ” I moan as he squeeze my tits gently ” I can look at you ”
” and I can touch you ” leaning close he kiss me, pulling me closer to his body, letting go of my hand I wrap it around his neck, the moment our tongue touch he pull back then step back which got me confused ” what’s wrong ”
” am sorry amor, if we keep on going I will have you ” he run his hand through his hair then exhale ” but for now let’s just shower” he pull me close then start washing my body, a thought pop into my head.
” are we sleeping in the same bed??” Looking up at him, he chuckle then nod ” of course, what do you think??” Grabbing a towel he place it on my head ” you don’t think I will want you to sleep in another room, miles away from me ”
” maybe not” tieing the towel round my body we step out of the room, the moment he turn to the other side to choose a cloth to wear I quickly put on my night dress, so fast I was surprise myself.
” wow, so fast ” he chuckle while I sit on the bed, he pick up my brush, move towards my direction then brush my hair gently, air move into the room from the balcony.
he finally drop the brush, bending down to my level, bite my ear then lick my neck, his teeth grazing the same spot as always ” amor??”
” yes??”
” don’t ever think I will leave you” he bend down properly, our head in the same level now ” no woman has love me the way you do, only a foolish man will let you go, Stella means nothing to me ” giving my lips a sweet and slow kiss, he move his lips gently to my cheek then my ears whispering ” I amor you ” the moment the words leave his mouth I couldn’t help but to smile.
” I amor you too” smiling we giggle placing our head on each other forehead ” let’s lay down, you need rest ”
” okay” laying on the bed I place my head on his chest and sleep soundly, waiting for tomorrow but little did I know that things always go the other way.
And I will end up regretting a lot of things.

Chapter Forty Six: MEETING VERDUN’S FAMILY
” amor??” Hearing that voice for the third time I frown, squeeze my eyes then open them gently to meet a smiling Verdun ” you sleep like a baby amor, so peacefully ” am still not use to this his sweet side ” come on, get up and shower, we are eating breakfast with the others today ”
” I want to sleep more ”
” you look hungry ”
” am not ”
“Hmmm” his blue eyes study me ” you prefer sleeping to eating breakfast with me??” He furrow his brows ” am hurt ” chuckling I wrap my hands around his neck
” how about after the breakfast you will let me paint a picture of you ”
” you paint??”
Nodding I smile ” I do, I always paint Brandon but back then it was horrible ” calling my brother name I couldn’t help but to feel hurt and horrible, what if he is alive, am not even searching for him, is he searching for me?? How have he been living, is he living a good life or a bad one.
” Brandon is your brother??” I nod then Verdun lift me up in a bridal style ” did you see his body on that horrific day??” Wrapping my hands around his neck I shake my head
” no ”
” good, I will set men out to look for him, I just need your painting of him then I will try finding out if he is alive or dead ” he said while dropping me in the bathroom, remaining still I try processing what he just said, turning to face him I place my both hands on his face, pulling him down to my level
” are you serious right now??” He pull back then chuckle before patting my head gently ” don’t you trust me amor, you deserve all the good things in life ” smiling down at me he pinch my cheek ” hurry up and shower”
” okay ” I watch him leave, i turn on the shower but didn’t move, the water soak my cloth while am left thinking, if my brother is truly alive I will get to see him, get to see how well he is doing and if he is well, if he look old now
If he truly is alive then I won’t be the last dream Walker, is he hiding his identity, must he why it is hard to find him. Taking off my cloth I close my eyes then rob the soap gently on my body, I still have this feeling that something bad will happen soon
” stop having negative thought Betty ” advising myself, I tie a towel round my body then set out of the bathroom only to be frightened ” you look ravishing, the rumors must he slapped on the face ” hearing that voice I turn to the direction it was coming from ” the moon goddess did wrong giving Verdun such a beauty”
” who are you ” holding my towel tight I step back which got him laughing ” how silly of me ” I watch him, his black hair combed neatly to the back, putting on a black suit, his blue eyes studying me ” I am Dawson, Verdun father ”
” why are you in my room??” I growl, I definitely do not like all these people that made Verdun pass through hell ” I decided to meet you before going to the dining hall, Verdun will not permit me to have an alone time with you ” within a blink of an eye he is standing close to me, my hair in his hand as he sniff it ” you smell good too ”
Slapping his hands away from me I step back ” I demand you get out immediately ” I know he could hear how loud my heart is beating, lycans have high hearing ability
” no need to be scared of me Betty ” he smile ” I will not hurt you ” I watch him turn around, said few more words then leave ” at least not yet ” the moment he close the door behind him I sit on the bed with a beating heart
The energy radiating from him is dangerous, anyone will know that he is a dangerous opponent ” why do these creatures want my life force ” obviously for power, rolling my eyes I exhale, I need to do something about this, I can’t even go out for a long walk alone because ghouls and other creatures might take me
I should meet Verdun, he must be waiting
Putting on a blue dress, blue ribbon around my hair, lip gloss I step out of the room to the dining hall, all I could feel is tension, Dawson, Verdun, Edward, Nolan, Hafiz and Darius which are his half brothers ” why are you standing there, come sit ” Darius mumble smiling, he was the one that fought with Verdun years back
” don’t speak to her that way ” Verdun growl, from his voice you will know he is irritated from all these ” come sit here amor” I watch Verdun tap his lap which got me surprise
” they are other chairs le….” When I receive his glare I shut up, move towards his direction and sit down gently, listening to their conversation” I Dont recall inviting you three to my house ” Verdun growl ” I also recall that I told you bastards to stay clear from my path ”
Dawson frown ” is that any way to talk to your father??” He shake his head ” I train you better than this ”
” you couldn’t even train yourself ” Verdun growl, I notice he is getting super upset, must be why he wish not for me to see his face, he doesn’t want to scare me
” we wish to attend the ball” Hafiz spoke this time ” and since we have a brother living in bligor why not sleep here instead ”
” half brother ” Edward corrected which got Darius shooting him a death glare and surprisingly Edward didn’t flinch even when Darius have a alpha blood
” half or not, we are brothers ” Darius mumble” I haven’t seen you so interested in a woman, well expect Elizabeth ” he smile ” I understand why, she look stunning enough to eat ”
” I agree brother ” Hafiz smile licking his lips ” tell us brother, is she good in bed, how do she taste ”
” watch your tongue Hafiz ” Verdun growl causing the whole house to tremble and my heart literary jump out of my body ” you do not come to my house and spit such nonsense out of your mouth, I will not tolerate that ” Verdun clench his hands on my thigh, resting mine on his, he seem to have relax a bit
” I notice that your arrival have made my alpha so irritated and I see why ” the two brothers are smiling but Dawson look so interested in my face and its giving me the creeps, I want to get out of here ” I will like to sit and talk more with you guys but only your presence is annoying me, I mean how can such low dogs talk to my alpha that way, in his house, no respect” standing up I frown” that’s nonsense if you ask me ”
” what are you trying to say ” Dawson growl ” you are calling us dogs, Dont you fear your life ”
” I should right ” exhaling I smile ” dogs don’t scare me though, you need something bigger than that ” holding Verdun hand I watch him give me a confuse look” enjoy the food, I have something better to do with my man ” pulling Verdun out of the dining Hall I could finally breath
” you make me so proud amor ” Verdun lean on the wall in the hallway, his blue eyes glittering ” no body has stand for me that way before, even when you were scared you said all that” he smile pulling me close to him, place his hand under my chin, lifting my gaze to meet his ” am happy ”
