Chapter 25

IVY

I opened my eyes hearing some familiar voice and saw mother and a maid sitting beside me.

“Ivy dear, How are you now?” Mother asked lovingly car-ssing my cheek.

“I am fine” I sat up.

” You must be hungry. I have made des**t for you. Do you want to eat?” Mother said smiling.

I looked at her for quite a moment and then nodded.

She asked the maid to bring the food who left quickly.

After some moments the maid came back with a tray full of des**t, a plate of salad and a small bowl of rice pudding and an orange juice.

“Now Samantha, you go and look your brothers must be waiting for dinner now!” Mother said and the maid left.

“Why all this reservations in dinner? Is something special today?” I asked

“Why? Don’t you like all these?” She asked.

“No it’s not like that.” I said and lowered my head.

“Ok then leave all these things and let’s eat. Today i will have my dinner with my daughter.” She said smiling and started pouring rice in one plate.

She then took a spoon and filled it with rice and stretched in front of my mouth to eat.

I was stunned for the moment because of all this care and love.

“Aah, open” she said and I opened my mouth.

The des**t was tasting like heaven.

She was feeding me with her hands.

I didn’t know what came over me bit I filled another spoon and stretched it in front of her.

I can say that she was taken aback by my action that she froze for a moment.

When she didn’t open her mouth for quite some time I felt embarrassed thinking that she may be not wanted to eat by my hand and I was about to pull the spoon back when she held my wrist and again took my hand near her mouth and opened it to eat.

I smiled back at her.

“Its not that bad”She said mo-ning.

“Bad? It’s delicious like Heaven mother!!” Myy eyes w¡dened at her statement.

She suppressed a laugh at my statement and I too smiled.

“What did you call me?” She suddenly stopped laughing.

“Mo…mother. If you don’t like then I.. ” I stuttered.

“No no!! I loved it!! In fact I am feeling lucky to have such a daughter like you”/She said k-ssing my forehead.

I was stunned that how can someone be this polite and loving???

Dinner went on and on and we kept on talking while eating and feeding each other.

After dinner she asked me to lay back brcause I wasn’t feeling well and she sat beside me car-ssing my head.

“Can I ask something from you?” I said holding her one hand and playing with her fingers.

“Hmm” She hummed.

“Why are you being this sweet to me? How can you feel blessed by having such a daughter like me? Like my parents never cared about me when they gave birth to me then how can you be this polite to me even after all my behaviour and bickerings with you??”

I couldn’t take this anymore.

That question was again and again hammering on my mind.

“God said we should forgive others so he can forgive us. We must be good to others.” She said holding my chin.

I nodded looking at her.

“That’s why I love you and besides I wont see any flaw in you. You are so beautiful and moreover you have a good heart. ” she said smiling.

” How can you say that?” I asked.

“I know. You have to sleep for now.” She said and I closed my eyes with mother stroking my hair.

I didn’t know that I will ever meet such a pious and heartwarming person like her in my life who will value me this much.

Moments passed with me drowned in my thoughts.

I opened my eyes and see her sleeping beside me.

I smiled and pulled the sheet over her.

“I didn’t know that I will get attached to you this soon. I am sorry for my ill behaviour. I promise that I won’t misbehave with anyone ever again. From today I will try to please God by pleasing his people because I know that a sinful person like me can’t be forgiven this easily. ”

With this determination I k-ssed her on forehead and closed my eyes smiling.

Chapter 26

Authoress Pamela P.O.V.

Aaron was mending the lock of Ivy’s room which Fredrick broke two days ago when she wasn’t opening the door.

“Aaron are you sure that it should be put like this way?” Ivy asked him and he nodded.

“O come on Ivy, I know everything. Now don’t disturb me” Aaron shouted in annoyance making Ivy’s jaw to drop to ground.

After working on it for quite an hour he stood up.

“Its done” He shouted and Ivy came towards him from the room only to shout on her lungs.

“AAROOON”

“What happened?” Aaron started startling at her voice.

” What have you done idiot?” She shouted pointing at knob and Aaron realized that he put the side of the knob which should be put towards in,side at outside and fixed the side which should be put on outside at in,side of door.

“Oh!! I am sorry” Aaron smiled nervously scratching the back of his neck.

“Fix it now” Ivy glared at him.

” Sorry but I am tired now” aaron said while running towards his room leaving her behind who was yelling his name.

“Hi ivy?” Ronald chirped cheerfully coming towards her.

“Ronald, Can you please fix this?” I smiled at him.

” Sorry but I have to go somewhere!”

with that said he too ran.

“What the hell” Ivy gro-ned throwing things here and there and settled her pillow and fell on bed with a thud.

It was a sparkling morning.

Frederick mother, a maid and Ivy were gossiping while having breakfast.

“Samantha close your mouth now or else they will get to know!!” Ivy said slapping Samantha’s head who was laughing like an idiot since morning.

“What happened to her today?” Mother asked amused at her condition.

“Ok ok I am quite now!!” Samantha said but again burst into laughter.

“Sorry sorry… but I can’t stop my laughter thinking about their horrific reactions!!” She said between laughter.

“Did you girls do something inhuman?” Mother asked raising brow at them who was whispering to each other since while.

“We? Hehe!! Mother what we will do? We didn’t do anything. Right Samantha?” Ivy smiled nervously glaring at Samantha.

“Ya yeah mother! We are all innocents!!” The maid said taking signal from ivy.

But mother knew that something was surely fishy and all her doubts got cleared by an ear piercing yell.

“WHO THE HELL DID THISSS???”

They all got startled by Ronald’s voice.

Frerd*ck mother jaw dropped to the ground looking at Ronald who was coming towards them with green hair while Ivy and the maid hified each other.

” What happened to you ronald?” Mother asked going closer to Ronald when one more scre-m was heard by the wh0le Earth putting the mansion up side down.

“NOOOOOO!!!!”

Again everyone got startled and soon actions repeated from mother jaw dropping to ground to Ivy and Samantha controlling their laughs looking at the blue haired Aaron.

“What happened to you both??” Mother said shocked.

“I don’t know. when I stood in front of the mirror after taking shower my hair was like this!!” Ronald said gro-ning.

“Same with me” Aaron said angrily touching his hair.

Samantha burst into laughter seeking their attentions.

“Tell me who did this or else I won’t let anyone in this house live peacefully” Ronald glared at Samantha.

” You did this?” Aaron yelled pointing at Samantha.

“Yeah, she is laughing which only means she is the culprit” Ronald said and was about to run towards Samantha when she stood on her hair raising her hands in air stopping them.

“Before you both run towards me like blindfolded bulls I want to tell you the name of real culprit who poured dyes in your shampoos” Samantha blurted.

“Samantha, I will kill you if you speak a single word more” ivy glared at her.

“Sorry ma’am but I can’t run in front of these bulls wh0le day.” Samantha said innocently.

“Ivy you?” ronald shouted shocked.

Ivy sighed seeing there was no escape.

“Yeah I did that because you guys didn’t fix my room lock yesterday when I was begging you guys!!!” Ivy said giving them an evil look.

“So you poured dyes in our shampoo out of revenge?” Aaron asked shocked.

” Yes!!” Ivy said flipping her hair back as if it wasn’t a big deal.

“Ok let me tell you what it feels to have coloured hair!!” Ronald smirked.

“I won’t spare you. I will today chop your hair and will make you half bald. Just wait and watch. Let me get scissors.” Aaron glared at her and smirked.

Ronald and Aaron both went towards their room.

“What to do now? Samantha I hate you.how could you betray me?” Ivy said getting restless.

” What are you thinking now? Run!!! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!” Samantha shouted looking at Ronald who was coming with a big scissor in his hand.

“NOOOOO!!!”

Ivy yelled with Ronald running behind her.

They were running in the wh0le house like idiots.

Ivy ran behind a table and stood behind it.

When she didn’t see anyone coming towards her she sighed coming out.

“Here you go!!!”
She heard someone saying and before Aaron could pour the wh0le bucket of water colour on her she ran aside and it fall on Michael who was coming towards her.

“What the..” Micheal yelled.

“I am sorry micheal!” Ivy said and ran towards opposite direction seeing Aaron coming in their direction.

“Run as much as you want but I won’t sit back until I make you bald.” Aaron yelled running behind her.

Ivy went in kitchen and stood behind door.

Aaron who was following her also entered in kitchen but didn’t see her.

Ivy’s eyes landed on a big basket of floor and a smirk make its way to her face.

“Dangerrrr!!!!”
She yelled running towards him before he could turn around she put basket ful of floor on his head upside down.

“Sorry!!!”
She said revolving him around and ran out.

Chapter 27

FREDRICK

“What the hell is this?” I roared in frustration

Ivy flinched on my roar after realizing that she mistakenly poured dye on my T-shirt.

She always get afraid when I shout and now when she was standing this close to me, her body was shivering with fear.

” you both go and take a warm shower to melt this” mother said and I hummed.

I pulled back vigorously.

“Ooouch” a scre-m left Ivy’s mouth when she was dragged towards me but couldn’t match my pace and was about to k-ss the floor when I took her small wa-ist in my protective grip.

“Gosh” I made her stand up in annoyance.

After some moments of silence, I sighed and what I did next was enough to leave everyone flabbergasted.

I encircled my arms around her wa-ist and held her up.

Her feet was in air while I was carrying her in my arms with her hands on my cheek and started walking towards my room.

From far anyone could say that we were shooting for a rom-ntic movie but only if you take a closeup look then you’ll be able to see the annoyance, anger, frustration, fear in our eyes.

I opened the washroom by kicking it and I put her down as I reached near shower.

I turned the null and soon warm water started dripping over us.

My hands were resting on my sides with my head turned sideways.

Her clothes was completely messed up while red substance of her l¡pstick was melting on her chin.

Hair strands were sticking on the sides of her face tickling her.

She turned her face aside to push them away but they were too stubborn to move.

IVY

I tried again and again but then I felt a burning s-nsation at my cheek and looked upwards to see him who was pinning my hair locks behind my ears.

My breath hitched when his dark eyes looked downward directly in my eyes.

I could feel that my height was too short in front of him.

He was looking like a tower to whom I wasn’t even reaching till shoulders.

I averted my gaze and he got out of his trance and pulled his hand back.

I missed the warmth of his hand.

Moments passed with us standing this close to each other when I felt my hand separating from his skin.

I tried and this time my hands left his cheeks.

I pulled back and he turned the shower off.

I was about to move out when he called me from behind.

“Where are you going?”

“To my room” I said looking here and there.

“Like this?” He asked moving his finger towards me.

I looked confused but my confusion faded away when I looked in his pointer direction and my mouth hung opened to see my white shirt sticking to my body and almost exposing my wh0le wa-ist.

I quickly placed my hand at my front.

He looked at me with amusement and turned his face away.

“Wait here! I will ask the maid to bring your clothes here’ He said and went out.

A blush crept on my cheek.

“Stop blushing b!tch” I scolded myself smacking my head.

Later the maid gave me my clothes.

After changing I came out of washroom with my w-t clothes in my hands and my eyes scanned the wh0le room.

I had been here once at the night of our wedding.

All the scenes from Nathan’s betrayal to my father cruelness and Frederick’s ill behaviour flashed in front of me like a telefilm.

I sighed shrugging my thoughts and went out.

After putting my clothes out in garden to dry I walked towards launch but my steps halted at the door listening to the conversation of Samantha and mother .

“Mother, why don’t you ask Frederick to let Ivy stay in his room? After all they are married” samantha said.

” You know how they got married. According to Frederick that was not a marriage but a contract. Do you think I didn’t ask him? I asked him numerous times but he always ignores saying that he will see and will see. I am not pressuring him because I think that Ivy also need some time for all this. She is still too young to understand a husband wife relation and besides somehow she is immature and forgets that she should not disrespect her husband and you know Frederick very well, how he behaves with those who disrespect him. So somehow it’s good for both of them because they both need time. This all is so new for them.”

I felt shivers running all over my body at the thought of living with him under the same roof.

Instead of going in, I turned around and went to my room.

I sat on the floor circling my arms around my knees drowned in my thoughts.

” Am I that bad that God hates me this much? Am I that worthless that no one wants me? First mom and dad then Nathan and now Frederick” I was drowned in my thoughts when sleep engulfed me and my eyes got closed with numerous questions in them.
