🏹 EPISODE 11 🏹

💥 Ice Queen’s POV 💥

Castor came into my chamber holding a papyrus

“The general sent an owl with a letter” Castor said

“Read it out” I said and he started reading

“Queen Helga is planning to attack your army at Midland’s main entrance tomorrow” Castor read out

“Is that all?” I asked

“Yes my Queen” he said

I stood up and began pacing around

“This is a stupid move by Helga, what will she gain by killing a small army of mine, I expected something bigger than this, I expected a bigger attack”

“I guess she’s to kill of the warriors at the main entrance so that she can get her army inside the kingdom” Castor said

“No Helga isn’t that stupid, if she was she wouldn’t have been able to trick me years ago which led to my capture” I said as I continued pacing

“I think this a trick, Helga doesn’t trust the General so this is a test for him, I don’t think this is Helga’s main plan” I said

“What should we do then?” Castor asked

“Don’t do anything, let her attack our warriors at the entrance, we’ll play dumb” I said

“But our warriors will die my Queen” Castor said

“Then so be it, it’s a small sacrifice, Helga needs to win the battle for us to win the war. Send an owl back to the general, he shouldn’t do anything, he should just attack the main entrance just like Helga ordered”

“Okay my Queen” Castor as he bowed a little and left

You are still very quick witted Helga but am not as dumb as I was in the past and I will not be tricked again

💥 Korax’s POV 💥

I was once a naive and innocent kid and I lived with my Dad in the elf kingdom

My mother died while giving birth to me, so my dad is the only person I had then

We were poor but we were happy

People kept their distance from us cause of our poor status, I was a lonely kid but that changed when I met Kiara

She was the only one that wanted to be my friend and in the end, she was the only friend I ever had

She was like and angel to me, my life lighted up the moment she came and she always made me smile

Everything changed when the elf kingdom was attacked by the Rogia kingdom

The attack was unexpected so they killed lots of people
And that’s how a war began

The elf warrior devised a battle plan, they’ll decieve the the Rogia warriors by sending in a decoy army first and while the Rogia warriors killed the decoy army, they’ll attack them from behind

But the only problem was that no one wanted to be in the decoy army, no one wanted to die

So they decided to take the paupers, the lowest rank in the kingdom, disguise them as warriors and send them to their death

My father was among those taken for the decoy army, I begged and cried for them to leave my father alone, he was the only one I had
They didn’t listen, they said it was a sacrifice for the greater good

I tried to fight back, I fought them with the little strength I had so that they won’t take my father but I only ended up with a deep cut across my eyes, one of the warriors slashed my face with his sword and I became unconscious

I thought I was going to die but after what seemed like eternity, I opened my eyes and the first person I saw was Kiara, she looked so worried

“Are you okay Korax?” She had asked with concern

She said she had saw me unconscious and bleeding so she called her parents, they took me to their home and treated me

But their was no point in healing, my world was gone, used as a decoy and sent to his death

That was when I realized the cruelty of this world, you are nothing in this world if you are weak, if only I had been strong, I’ll have been able to defeat the warriors and stopped them from taking my Dad

So I decided to be strong and live only for myself, what’s the point of being good when people will still turn on you in times of danger

I left the elf kingdom
I traveled around, training to be stronger, shedding away my old innocent self and creating a new monster in me

“Do you know her?” Lyra asked but I was too shocked to speak

I never expected to see Kiara again, she has grown so much

“What happened to you? Why did you run away back then and why are you with them?” Kiara asked but I didn’t say a word

“I don’t care if you guys no each other or not but the only thing am concerned about is killing you all” Nyla said charging forward and they others went with her

They began to fight but I did move neither did Kiara

Memories of our happy moments ran through my head, how she always played with me when no one wanted to, how she always protected me when other kids mocked and bullied me, how she saved me from the hands of death and helped me in recovering

Then everything happened in a flash, they were all fighting, then Nyla pushed the lady she was fighting to the ground and came behind Kiara and slashed her back with a sword and then she stabbed her

“Kiara!!!” Her friends yelled but they couldn’t come to her cause they were still fighting their opponents

My throat dried as I ran and caught her before she hit the ground

Tears trickled down my face as I saw her gasping for breath

She’s dieing and I can’t do anything

“Ko… Korax” she called “why? Why….. are.. you with…. with them?” She asked

“Stop talking Kiara, you’ll loose all your strength quickly if I continue talking” I said as tears continued to rolled down my face

She slowly brought her hand up and placed it on my cheek

“I….. don’t want….. you….to be a…. bad…. person, your Dad… won’t want…. it either” she stuttered as tear rolled down her eyes and her hand dropped to the ground

She’s dead

I slowly stood up and looked at my hands

Kiara’s blood were on my hands

They were still fighting, I saw Nyla, she was fighting with a lady and anger began to build inside of me

“Am going to rip out your throat Nyla!!!” I yelled as I walked towards her
