Xander’s mansion…!

“Connor, get out of my way!” Xander growls.

Connor shakes his head and blocks the door, he’s under strict order from the king not to let Xander out… No matter what.

“I need to find my mate!”

“Alpha, his Majesty has sent trackers already”

Xander scoffs.

“Nobody knows my mate’s scent better than I”

Connor still doesn’t let Xander through…he wanted to force his way out, but that will just put Connor in a difficult situation with the king.

Xander runs his fingers through his hair and sits on his bed.

He shuts his eyes and tries to mind-link Alexa again.. but he simply hits a wall.

“Stop f$cking blocking me!!” He growls out.

*I can feel mate in trouble!* Liam said.

*Of course she is! It’s obvious!* Xander growls at him.

*No! Real trouble!*

He shuts Liam out and snaps his eyes open, he sees Connor receiving a mind-link.

He waits a few minutes and Connor snaps back, panic in his eyes.

“Alpha, the packhouse is under attack… A lot of people dead already!”

Xander sprints out of bed and pushes Connor out of the way.. he runs out and heads towards the packhouse.

The packhouse is in chaos.. it’s bloody.. rogues fighting with pack members.

Xander look around and sees his mother taking the women and children away from the scene.

His eyes lands on his dad taking on three rogues at a time, he frowns.

“Alpha, should we join in the fight?” Connor asked beside Xander.

“Obviously! Go get Dylan’s boys with you and join in the fight!”

“Then what about you?”

Xander narrows his eyes and balled his fist, he clenched his jaw tightly.

“I’m going to look for my mate, this attack is a distraction to get my mate killed!”

He knows what his uncle is trying to do…

“Alpha, you…..”

Xander doesn’t let him speak before dashing off. Connor quickly sent Xander a mind-link and dives into the fight too.

“A-alpha…” Micah calls.

Xander stops and waits for what Micah has to say.. he’s currently at the entrance of the woods.

He and Micah almost run into each other.

“Alpha, I know where Alexa is!” Micah said.

“Take me there! Quick!” Xander commands.

Alexa’s pov 🎀

“Alexa!” Will calls.

Antonio’s men stops pumping the fire abruptly. Antonio turns to Will with a smirk, while Will glares at him.

“Will, w-what.. what are you doing here?” I asked in a shaky voice.

I’m scared of what Antonio’s gonna do to him…Will ignores me and glares harshly at Antonio.

“So… It’s you, Antonio!” Will said.

Antonio laughs.

“Yoh, you’re not the one I’m expecting… I can’t believe your alpha is a coward! How can he send a pup to fight me!”

Will scoffs.

“You’re the coward, Antonio! Let go of my sister at once!”

Antonio goes back to his chair and sits down. He studies his fingers.. and smiles.

“I wanted a show but since you’re not who I’m looking for…”

He trails off and leans back on his chair. He shuts his eyes and sighs deeply.

“.. just go, get your sister and leave!” He said.

Will stares at him wondering if he’s being serious.. I shake my head at Will.

It’s a trap!

“Will, don’t come any closer! It’s a trap!” I said.

Antonio laughs.

“Trap?” He shakes his head. “It’s no trap! If he really wanna take you home.. ”

He pause and sit upright. He points at about ten of his men.

“… He’ll have to get past these guys first!”

I shake my head, Will can’t fight with these men.. they’re too hefty for him to take on alone.

“Will… Go get help!” I said.

Antonio throws his head back on his chair and closes his eyes.. but I know he’s aware of what’s happening.

Will smiles at me reassuringly while I shake my head in disagreement.

He turns to the guys and take slow strides towards them… And before I know it, he’s grabbed one by his neck.

Without wasting time on him, Will snaps his neck and let his body drop… He raised an eyebrow on the others.

And that’s how it started…they all charge at Will. I watch in fear as Will tries his possible best to fight with them.

He’s clawing and biting at anyone that attacks him…one of the men stabs him with a silver sword…I don’t know where he brought the sword from… Will howled painfully.

Tears brim in my eyes.

“Will, stop fighting! Go get help!” I yelled at him.

He lock gaze with me and shakes his head…he grabs the guy that stab him by the neck and slams him on the ground.

Will hold the sword’s handle and pulls it out, grunting painfully as he did…I hiss as I feel his pain.

“Get out of here, Will, go get help!”

“No, I’m not leaving without you!” He said.

The men all surrounds him, walking around him.. carefully watching him.

Though it’s obvious that they’re stronger than Will, after all, he’s not a fighter and he didn’t get any professional training.

Antonio claps.

“Good show! Keep up the good work guys!”

I turn to him.

“You bastard, let my brother go!”

“Oh?! But he doesn’t wanna leave, it’s not my fault!”

“Let. Him. Go!”

He laughs and feign being scared.

“Ok, I’ll let him go if you promise to do something for me in return!” He said.

“What do you want?”

He gets up and walk closer to me… A sly smirk tugs at the corner of his l-ips.

“I want you to kill my bastard nephew when he arrives!” He said.

“Kill Xander?” He nods. “No! Never!”

He shrugs and walks back to his chair, he sits down and rocks the chair.

“Guys continue!” He said.

I turn back to Will, he’s covered in blood… soaked in blood. He’s weak now, I guess it’s because of that silver sword.. maybe it was even soaked in wolfsbane.

“Will, don’t try to save me.. fight your way out and go get help now!”

Will ignores me and in a minute he’s in his wolf form.. don’t tell me he’s planning on fighting to death!

“Will go!”

He lungs at one of the guys, his teeth jacking the guy’s neck… He bites on it furiously, blood splashing on his face and the guy scre-ming.

He bites on it until the guy falls down and stilled, but before Will could get up and attack another guy…

They stabs him with a syringe needle and Will releases a very long, loud and painful howl.

“What are you doing to my brother?!” I growled at them.

But they didn’t stop, I feel so angry but I couldn’t do anything… My wolf is too weak to take control.

“Stop it! Stop it now!”

They didn’t listen, slowly Will shift back to his human form.. laying passed out on the ground.

I growled loudly and bared my teeth at them, they pulled the syringe needle out and throws it away.

“What did you do to my brother?!”

“Calm down! They just made him shift back faster and powerless!” Antonio said.

“What do you mean powerless?!”

Does he mean Will won’t be able to fight anymore forever?!

“I wanted to make him powerless forever, but unfortunately, that is still in progress…”

He trails off and open his eyes, he faces me.

“… I just made him powerless for 3hours!”

I breath in relief at that statement.

“Ah!” Antonio sighs and shakes his head. “Your cowardly mate didn’t come.. ah.. sadly, you’ll have to burn to death….”

“Not on my watch, Antonio!” I heard Xander’s voice from the entrance.

I smile and turn my head towards him.. he lock gaze with me, he studies my condition and glares at the fire underneath me.

I can see the fury in his eyes.. he’s fuming in great anger.

He opens his mouth and releases a earth shaking roar… I swear I feel the poles I’m chained against shake.

In a flash he’s standing in front of me, he brings out his claws and uses them to break off the chains.

Honestly, I didn’t know his claws were this sharp… I guess he was able to break the chains because he’s angry.

“Xander, you’re here!” I said happily…I have never been this happy all my life.

I thought I wouldn’t see him ever again…I thought he wouldn’t come to save me…but here he is.

My knight in shining armor!

He carries me back to the entrance where he came in from.. he drops me gently to stand next to him but I hissed out in pain.

“What’s wrong, baby?” He ask me softly.

“It hurts!” I said.

He looks down at my foots and sees how red they are, he quickly carries me and hands me to someone behind him.

“Princess are you ok?” Micah?

He looks at my foots and glares at Antonio.

“Micah! You came!” I said and hugs him tightly to myself.

Though he’s carrying me, since I couldn’t stand.

“Princess I’m sorry, I’m useless, I didn’t arrive in time!”

I shake my head.

“No! You came at the right time!” I told him. “Drop me and help Will”

I point towards Will, he nods and turn to two guys behind him.

“Take my brother back to the pack!” He tells them.

They nod and goes to carry Will, I look behind Micah to check if they’re other fighters coming.

“I thought you came with help, how can we defeat Antonio?!” I panicked.

I don’t want Xander or Micah to have a repeat of what happened to Wil.

“Don’t worry about help, Alpha can handle all of them!”

“Huh?”

Xander’s growl catches my attention, I turn back to him and Antonio.

“Boy! You’re so arrogant, you barge in here without greeting your uncle!” Antonio said.

Xander didn’t say a word to him but I can see his body shaking from anger.

“But I must say you’re smart… At least, you didn’t fall for my distraction but….”

He trails off and gets up.

“… you ruined my plan! I wanted to kill two birds with one stone… I wanted you to die in that rogue attack then I’ll burn your mate here… Ah! Well, now that you’re here, I’ll just give you and her a quick death!”

“Antonio, you shouldn’t have gotten my mate involved in this! You made a big mistake for touching my mate!” Xander growls… or should I say Liam.

Antonio laughs hysterically.

“Boy, I don’t have any time to chat with you… But I can give you two options because of our family ties…”

Family ties indeed! Where was the family ties when you were planning on barbequing me?!

“… One, drop the crown and I’ll spare you or keep the crown and I’ll kill you and still take the crown!”

I rolled my eyes. As if he’ll spare Xander if he drops the crown.. now I’m curious why he wasn’t made king in the first place.

“I never give what’s mine to other people!” Xander said.

Antonio scoffs.

“What’s yours?! The crown is yours?!”

Xander didn’t reply him.

“That crown was supposed to be mine, I’m supposed to be the one sitting on that throne!… It’s my right as the first child!”

“Correction, illegitimate child!” Xander snarls.

Antonio balled his fist and for the first time since I met him, his eyes held anger.

“Shut up, bastard!”

He tries to throw Xander a punch but Xander dodges it.

“I’m not the illegitimate child, your father is.. he separated my parents from each other.. your father and his mother are home wreckers!”

Now I get it, Antonio’s mother is not Xander’s grandfather’s mate.

“I don’t care about the crown.. for f$ck sake, I find sighing of files boring and tiring.. but I’m not gonna drop the crown for someone like you… Your heart is too dark to be king!”

“I dare you to say that again!”

“Your heart is too dark to be king… You’re not fit to be king!”

Antonio growls and signal his boys to attack Xander… Micah quickly steps a few inches away from Xander’s back.

Xander seem like he’s ready for them… One after the other they attack him but Xander’s very fast and swift.

He runs pass them in a blur, each person he passes by falls down with blood pouring from either his neck or head.

In a flash he’s done with the eight men standing in front of us.. they’re all laying in the ground lifeless.

I should be scared of this but I’m not, rather I feel happy… I guess I wanted to revenge them for hurting Will.

Antonio claps and cheers for Xander.

“Good show! They didn’t even have the time to fight back… I think I’ll let you stay in my pack as my fighter…”

Xander throws something down and I realized he killed those guys with a dagger.

“…. But unfortunately, I still have to test your fighting skills more!”

Antonio blows a whistle and about 17 of his men troops out… I gasp as fear grip me.

Now I remember, Diane said there are twenty seven guards here… These are the last batch of guards but can Xander fight them all off?

“Micah, tell Xander let’s run from here!” I told Micah.

But Micah shakes his head.

“No, Alpha can finish them!”

“But….”

“Just watch princess!”

I turn back to the scene, Xander is looking my way, he smiles at me… Suddenly his eyes change colors, they’re yellow now.

His finger nails turns into long sharp claws, then he turns back to them.

Liam is in control now. I see the guards steps back slowly in fear but they still keep their brave face on.

Xander studies their weapons brief, then calls them to come at him all at once.

Without wasting time, they all charge at Xander, caging him down with swords.. rods.. and chains.

Xander grabs the chains and forcefully drags both his hands together… Making the two guys holding the chain at both ends collide into each other.

The releases the chain and fall back on the ground with painful grunts.

Xander twists the chain and throws it up, making it tie the sword’s together… He pulls on the chains and all their swords and rods falls off their hands.

The guards take steps backwards and stand in a defense stance.

“I thought those rods and swords and chains are made out of silver?” I asked Micah.

“Yes, they are!”

“Then why is xander holding onto it tightly.. is he not feeling any pains?!”

“His hands are burning him but right now he won’t care about it… His mate’s life was threatened, he’d do anything to make the culprit pay!”

Oh my goodness!

Xander throws the chains randomly and it wraps around two guys’ necks… He pulls one closer and snaps his neck.. he did the same with the other guy.

He throws their limp bodies away from him.

He glares at the rest, he takes slow predatory step towards them and they take frightened steps backwards.

A guy wanted to sneakily attack him from behind but Xander notice it and tied the chain around his neck tightly.

He grabs the guy’s hand and rips it off his shoulder making him scre-m in great pain. He also rips off the other hand and leaves the guy standing there handless.

Honestly, I close my eyes at that… I don’t think Xander’s in his right senses right now.

He lung at two guys in front of him and deeps his claws into the first guy’s stomach and pulls out all his intestines.

The guy falls down instantly, he deeps his teeth into the other guy’s neck and lets blood gush out.. the guy raised his right hand to splash Xander’s face but Xander catches it and rips it off.

“Xander, behind you!” I scre-m.

But I guess I didn’t see this guy in time, he stabs the sword through Xander’s back… Xander roars and turns to him..

His yellow eyes flashing red, he grabs the guy’s shoulder…he pulls the sword out and stabs the guy on his throat… Shoving the sword deeper into his throat.

“Micah, put me down, go help Xander!” I said struggling to get down.

Micah didn’t let me, he holds me tighter.

“Alpha, gave me strict warning not to join in the fight!”

“But what if they kill him?!”

“He’s not gonna die… Look!”

I turn back to Xander and my mouth falls open, all Antonio’s men are laying on the ground lifeless… Their blood forming a small pond already.

Xander is soaked in blood, like he’s bathed in blood. He faces Antonio who’s taking frightened steps backwards.

“Antonio, do you have any other men to train with me?” Xander asked.

“D-do.. d-do you think I’m scared of you because you killed these useless morons?!” Antonio asked in an obviously scared voice.

I laugh, but quickly sobers up as I feel cheeks hurting… from Antonio’s slap.

“I’ll take it as a no.. no more men for me!”

Xander walks close to Antonio, Antonio quickly deeps his hand in,side his pocket and brings out a gun.

He aims it at Xander and shoots randomly with shaky hands.. the bullet hits Xander’s right shoulder and Xander grunts.

“Xander!” I called.

I almost rush to him but Micah refrain me.

Xander deeps his hand in and pulls out the bullet, his eyes not leaving Antonio’s… Antonio stared with his eyes wide open in fear.

Before Antonio knew what’s happening, Xander has ripped off his right hand that was holding the gun.

Antonio scre-med loudly. “You bastard!”

“Now you are useless without that hand!”

Xander’s hand wrap around his neck.

“You shouldn’t have gone after my mate… That was your biggest mistake!”

“I should have killed her!”

Xander growls and splash his face with his claws.

He removes his hand from Antonio’s neck and chains him just as he had chained me.

“What are you doing?!” Antonio asked.

Xander ignores him and puts him where he was hanging me above the fire..

I was a few inches above the fire but his legs are just in,side the fire directly… He scre-ms.

“You’re making noise!” Xander growls and gag his mouth with a piece of cloth.

Xander pulls the chair Antonio was sitting closer to me and makes me sit on it.

He looks at me all over before crashing his l-ips on mine… He k-sses me roughly.. with passion and fear.

He breaks the k-ss.

“You’re safe, baby! You’re safe… I came too late…”

I cut him off with a peck, I smile at him.

“You came at the right time!”

My hand touch his shoulder where Antonio shot… tears pour from my eyes.

“I’m sorry… You’re injured because of me!”

“No! You suffered because of me!” He said.

He rests his head against mine and closes his eyes, he growls at Antonio’s mumbling.

He opens his eyes and they are back to his normal colors.

“Wait here, baby, I wanna take revenge for you!”

I nod.. normally I would have told him to stop but not right now.. Antonio deserves whatever is coming his way.

He gets up and walk towards Antonio.

“I heard you love barbeques…” He picks a sword and holds the handle. “… Actually, I love barbeques too.. that’s something we both have in common… ”

He paused and turns to me, he winks at me before facing Antonio again.

“.. how about I barbeque you, I love barbequing.. and I’m also a very good barbequer!”

Xander tears Antonio’s clothes and I look away when I see Antonio’s three inches d**k.

I hear Antonio scre-m and I quickly turn to face him… Xander’s cut off his d**k and throws it into the fire.

“Can you perceive the sweet aroma?” Xander asked him.

Xander picks the d**k and shoves it in Antonio’s mouth, Antonio wanted to spit it out.. but Xander sends him a glare and he begin to eat it.

“Good boy!” Xander said.

I almost gag at the sight, goodness! I didn’t know my mate is this heartless.

*Heartless but hot!* Scar said.

I rolled my eyes, I thought she was protecting our pup?!

Xander digs his claws into Antonio’s eyes and pluck ’em out, Antonio scre-med loudly but Xander ignores him… he stuffs them in Antonio’s mouth too.

”I told you it was a big mistake for hurting my mate!”

I couldn’t hold it in any longer, I open my mouth and begin to vomit… Micah holds up my hair untill I’m done.

Xander increases the fire, making it reach Antonio’s stomach level.

“X-xander.. just kill him!” I said.

I can’t watch this anymore.

“Yes, Luna!” Xander answers.

He stabs his hand into Antonio’s chest and rips out his heart.. Antonio’s eyes remains wide open until his last breath.

His mouth opens wide but no sound came out. Xander throws Antonio’s heart into the fire and spit on it.

“Now you know the real way to barbeque!”

He turns to me and smile… with the blood all over him.

“Baby, let’s go home!” He said and carries me in his arms.
