Alexander jump off the horse, Giles is found standing outside the dark forest ” you guys look like shit ” mumble I watch them exhale, this only means that they failed in striking the deal, I seriously don’t have time for this failure ” you didn’t do it right ”
” those creatures almost eat us” cash yell ” I think am losing my mind, they were so hideous ” Elia rush to cash, trying to calm him down.
My gaze move to Giles who for the first time didn’t smile, he look confuse and thinking ” speak Giles”
” I fear is a serious issue, I will need time alone with you ” Nodding my head we move far away from the others ” you know the queen of the ghouls?”
” I do, we once travel the world together ”
Giles look around then lean close ” did you two sleep together ” looking at him I nod my head, in her human form she looked beautiful, I definitely couldn’t deny myself from the pleasure of the flesh

” I fear she still harbor anger for you, she believes you break her heart and dump her even knowing her love for you ” Giles run his hands through his hair ” how will you strike this deal when the ruler has no good intension for you ”

” so what now” Giles asked and i look at Elia, our gaze meet, she must have been staring at me for a while now, she blink then smile at me, Elia will definitely want to know what we were discussing.
” I will go in alone” I mumble to Giles.
” am going with you ” Elia voice echo as she approach ” you’re not going alone and don’t argue ”
” sweetheart” shaking my head I look at her ” its dangerous, I should go alone ”

” Alexander the fifth!” She fold her hand
” looking tough won’t make me take you along”
” am not asking for your permission Alex” she turn around, walking into the forest ” when you’re done acting like a lady, meet me in the forest ” fastening my steps to catch up with her, I grab her arm, stopping her from moving.
” do not walk into danger like that ” she shoot me a frown and I gasp ” what is it ”
” they is another reason why you don’t want me to come with you ” her gaze look so compelling that I know, I can’t lie to her ” tell no lies Alex”
” I had an affair with the queen of the ghouls, she was a widow back then, I think she still is ”
” so why were you against me coming with you ”
” you might get angry, the queen will definitely hate you and will plan on killing you later, I don’t wish for her eyes to meet yours ”
Elia gasp then nod ” look, you can’t protect me forever Alex and they will be more of your former lovers that will resurface, I need to learn how to stand on my own ” she smile ” you can’t stop me, okay?”
” okay, fine!” Walking towards the ghouls kingdom I stop at the gate then make her turn around to face me ” what’s wrong?” She ask, confusion evident in those eyes.

” so you don’t find me s€×y?” She furrow her brows and I shook my head, pulling her close I k-ss her l-ips gently, not to hærd to make it swollen then I pull away, her l-ips looking red, cheeks red.

” you’re right, now let’s go ” holding her hand we move close to the gate, one of the guards nod his head then look my way.
” the queen was expecting you ” he open the gate and I didn’t hesitate to step in ” follow me ” another guard mumble, directing us to a room, must be where she make all her war plans, she is known to be fearful warrior.
The guard leave, shutting the door, my gaze remain on her, her back to us, her black hair curly and long, she wore a transparent red dress” who is she?”
” my companion ”
” I see ” she turn around, her eyes still white with touch of tiny glitters ” you have found another”
Changing the subject I smile ” I think you know why I am here ” she nod her head, moving closer to my direction, it was hærd to miss the way her br-ast bounce, how her n-pple hærden in the mere sight of me.
” I know fully well why you are here Alexander ” she frown ” but I must refuse such a deal, surely you understand that I don’t want harm to fall on my people ”
Nodding my head, Elia hand tighten around mine, looking at her, I know she isn’t please with what is happening ” but…” She smile ” I might reconsider”
” what are you driving at ”
” I will like to speak with you alone Alexander ”
” Not happening ” Elia speak up ” we came here to strike a deal with you, nothing else”
” you can’t speak for yourself anymore Alex?”
” Bertha, Elia is right ” I exhale” I do have a offer to make and trust me, they is no need for us to be alone before I say it out ” Bertha turn around.
” if you don’t do as I say you can both leave” running my hand through my hair I look at Elia, she shake her head, her hands tighten.
” excuse us then” mumbling I turn around but Bertha voice stop me from stepping out ” what’s your offer” she exhale and I smile.
” if you part take in this fight against Norman army and Norman takes the fall I will fund your city, I know your people is tired of hiding in the forest so I will help in building a huge kingdom, suitable for your kind ”
Bertha remain calm, her eyes calculative ” why should I trust you when you plan on killing Norman which was your friend.” Her right brow inch high ” surely you know am not stupid ”
” you know me Bertha ” I frown ” I always keep my word”
” hmm” she step closer ” I will do this for you but I ask for one simple thing, the kingdom you speak of can be done by me” she smile” I ask only for a night with you ”
” what!! ” Elia and I mumble at the same time, I wasn’t surprise though, I expected that from her ” you must be joking” I chuckle but she look frown.
” am not Alexander ” she smile ” I want you buried in me once again, its been centuries and I don’t care if your lover joins…makes it more fun”
