CHAPTER SEVENTEEN : WHEN DEATH CALLS
Frankenstein couldn’t believe it, someone tried to kill him and that to, straight to his heart, that’s funny…..it’s literally funny, it’s been years since that happened.
Laughing I watch rose retreat, she fell off the bed and the moment I get up, blood gush out of my chest and she scream, her hands covering her mouth ” you’re still alive ” she murmur shaking ” why are you still alive ”
” Little red ” pulling the knife out of my chest I smile, smile at her and my blood which is all over the bed ” I can’t die anymore, can’t you see my blood turning black?” She look at me while shaking ” I died a long time ago ”
” No ” she crawl backwards till her head hit the wall and within that time, the hole in my chest close up
” You have guts rose” moving close to her, I bend down to her level, her gaze didn’t leave mine ” after all those talks of you changing me, you tried to kill me at the end ?”
” Why won’t you just let me go?”
” All this made me like you even more rose ” moving my hand to touch her cheek, she tremble at that ” I won’t kill you little red but I will punish you ” her eyes widen at my last statement
” Please let me see my mother ”
” You will see her ” sitting on the floor I watch how frighten she is of me, she is the one that tried killing me, so why all these fear
” I don’t want to stay here ”
“Hmmm” I could see my blood stain her dress ” come, I will wash the stain off you ”
She shake her head ” pease stay away from me, you’re scary, I don’t like you, why won’t you just die?” Her words made me clench my hands ” die, die, die ” don’t tell me she is traumatized.
Leaning close, I forcefully kiss her, I do not need a broken doll, I like people with guts and she definitely has one, moving my tongue into her mouth, I hear her moan……she has always tasted sweet, so sweet that I can’t stop.
Moving my hands to her hair, I pull her close and deepen the kiss even more, I want to feel all of her, her taste, her feelings, which I already know of
Withdrawing I watch her trying to catch her breath and coughing ” sorry ” mumbling I stare at her ” are you okay now?” She nod and I stand to my feet, take off my shirt which is soak with blood ” come, we won’t sleep…..” Before I could complete my sentence, mother open the door and step in
” Am late but….” She look around and I notice worry in her eyes ” Frankenstein?” She move close and look at my body carefully” are you hurt? ”
” No mother ”
” What’s this on the bed ” I frown, not all the blood has turned black
” It’s ink ”
” Some happened to be red ”
” Drop the topic mother ” growling, her eyes move to rose and I saw anger immediately which isn’t good
” That isn’t Ava”
” I know ”
” Why is she in your room this late?”
” That’s my woman mother ” at my words, rose gaze met mine ” I plan to keep her close till she dies”
” That’s not right, Ava is your fiancee”
” Hmmm” moving towards rose, I lift her up in a bridal style, I definitely thought she will struggle but instead of that, she lean close, hide her face in my chest ” I will be sleeping in the huge mansion from now on mother, go home ”
” Frankenstein”
” Go home mother ” moving out of the room, I stare at a crying ava ” and take your Ava with you ” I didn’t say anything else, just walk out of the mansion into the bigger one, climb the stairs, drop rose on the bed and proceeded in setting the bath for myself
The place was silent for awhile” You don’t have a heart?” Rose asked but I said nothing in reply ” what happened to you, why aren’t you angry at me ?” I still said nothing, just quietly showered, wrap towel around me and step out
” I told you rose, I will punish you ”
” It doesn’t look like you’re angry ”
” No reason to be” moving close to the bed, I smile ” go and take a bath rose, you smell like shit ”
She didn’t argue, watching her step into the bedroom, I sit on the bed and hold my head, I have lost lot of blood, it’s starting to act on me……at times like this I seem to behave differently, like my old self before commiting that suicide.
That this point I get obsessed with things that intrigue me.
I swear I wanted to slap the fuck out of her but I couldn’t, it will spoil her sweet face, am starting to feel really sleepy right now, should have pull out that knife sooner.
Sitting on the bed, i blink my eyes when rose step out of the bathroom, towel wrap around her body ” you’re staring ” I notice how her cheek turn red but fear still in her eyes.
” What are you scared of ”
” You, how are you living when you’re not human ”
” Hmmm” my eyes won’t stop rolling, am going to lose consciousness soon ” you’re scared of me huh?” For some reason I stand to my feet and stagger towards her direction ” do me a favour little red ” placing my hands on her shoulder, she look up at me ” take care of me , No” I shake my head ” try to change me like you said ”
” What?”
” That seem interesting” I inhale and exhale ” if…..if you can do that, I will set you free forever”
” Are you okay franken…..” Before she could complete her sentence I lost it, falling to the floor hard
Rose couldn’t believe her eyes, everything that has happened seem surreal, I stab him, he bleed but didn’t die, now he ask me to try and change him and after that, he feel down unconscious.
Looking at him, I notice how calm and sleepy he is but his towel is no longer on his body, he is naked, oh trust me, I know I shouldn’t look but I did, even after the bath, he still look so big
Bending down, my intention was to take a closer look ” oh god rose” hearing that voice, my face heat up and I use the towel to cover him up immediately ” let’s get out of here ” turning I stare at Ava who slowly approach me ” he is unconscious, let’s go ”
Ava hold my hand and help me up ” Ava I ” I couldn’t complete my sentence before she kiss me, I never knew she think of me in this way, I never knew this is how she feels
I withdraw and look at her ” what are you doing ”
” Let’s get out of here rose, then we talk ” I watch how she look so scared, she can’t even walk closer to Frankenstein
” I can’t ”
” What ”
” I can’t leave him ” I said words that even surprised me ” I promised to change him and I will ”
” are you nuts rose, No body can change him ”
” I will change him for you ava, before you marry him ”
Ava shake her head ” please come with me rose ” I watch how desperate she look” William is growing insane since he can’t find you, your mum keep asking about you too…..come with me, back to your old life ”
” I can’t, I can’t leave Frankenstein like this”
” Do you love him?” Her words made me frown
” Will I try killing someone I love?” I growl” I don’t know why but I can’t leave Frankenstein, I owe him for not killing me moments back, I have to change him” Ava refused saying more, I watch her turn around, shut the door and her footsteps fade away.
Nodding I turn around to find Frankenstein standing and staring at me, at first glance my heart almost burst, I had to scream at the surprise” don’t do that ” I mumble but he said nothing, just step close, his expression is different, have not seen it before
Is that him being happy?
” Little red ” he wrap his hands around my waist and pull me close, am scared because I have no idea what he plan on doing ” you look so beautiful when you argue, I mean when you stand your ground on a conversation, so bold. am not sure I can let someone else have you anymore” he lean close and whisper” I will chop off their hands if they try touching you ”
I have no idea if that’s good sigh or not.

BOOK ONE : TALE OF FRANKENSTEIN
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN : ON HIS LAP
right after Frankenstein whispered, he went back to sleeping and this time right in her arms which made her lose balance and resulting in them falling, he needs to know he has a lot of weight, I mean what the hell is he doing?
My head hurts from the fall and I barely have enough strength to push him off me, why is he this heavy anyway, closing my eyes I rest for awhile before using all my energy to push him off my body.
That was a success.
Getting up, I drag the blanket from the bed and cover his body on the floor, turn off the ac because of the cold and take one of his red long sleeves, putting it on, not feeling sleepy I head outside the room.
My eyes move to the wall clock, ten pm and everywhere look so dark , this mansion has more than one room, looking down the hall, I notice eight more room, maybe nine
If I beg Frankenstein properly this time, maybe he will give me my own room, walking down the wall, I saw only one picture hanged, it’s neither Frankenstein or Roger…..who is this man?
He has long hair, black in colour and blue beautiful eyes, he is handsome and look so young ” you ” hearing that voice I quickly look at my right, Roger is moving close to my direction, hands place in his pocket and from his waist to his neck is shirtless.
He is nothing like Frankenstein, no muscles at all but he still has that wide chest ” isn’t it too late to be around here miss ” he stop three inch away from me and I fake a smile.
” I thought I will see around ”
” Ten pm? You should be in bed ”
” You’re not my master ” the words left my mouth before I know what’s happening, he smiled and nod
” Of course, am sure Frankenstein is already fucking that stupid hole of yours ” he is smiling but I know how angry he is, I mean it’s in his eyes ” I do not appreciate you being here and trust me, I will find a way to finish you off, out of Frankenstein life ”
” Why, I didn’t do anything to you ” I step back then mumble ” why do you hate me ”
” Hate ” Roger smile ” why will I hate you?” After that, I watch him walk pass me ” go to bed miss” when I turn around he is no where to be seen
He is fast.
Giving up on checking the rest room, I move back to Frankenstein room and surprisingly, he is laying on the bed and covered probably, the Ac is back on, I doubt it’s sleeping working.
Mr Rogers must have done that, is it that he loves him brotherly or in a sinful way? Which means he is gay.
I should rest, today has really been a tiring one, lot of things happen, me trying to run away, going into Frankenstein experiment room, trying to kill him.
Lot of things did happen.
Laying down on the floor, I close my eyes but I couldn’t sleep, no blanket so I end up stealing Frankenstein blanket, if he is sleeping on the bed, he can do without it
I fell asleep but the sound of someone getting off bed and laying down next to me, under the blanket alerted me, is he sleep walking again?
He pull me close to his body, he must be feeling cold, Frankenstein is so strange that I don’t know what to do….. I stop thinking and blink when his hand rest on my arse, I mean am not wearing any underwear
I slowly move his hand to my waist then breath calmly, I should sleep, being awake won’t help matters
Frankenstein blink his eyes, yawn before realizing how strong the bed is, No….am laying on the floor and something is heavy on my chest, looking down a little I swallow at the sight that befall me.
The blanket is off our body, rose head is place close to my neck, her breast pressed on my chest and my hands on her bare arse, the shirt seem to have lifted up abit
Moving my hand, I squeeze it and realize how soft it is ” oh devils” I mumble then close my eyes, this is weird, am getting turn on, she is not even crying but, but her body is just so sinful
To my disappointment she move backwards, yawning, I stretch my hand and made sure her head is placed on them, why did I do that?
Seeing no reason to, I take off my hand and her head drop to the floor hard, she growl then open her eyes, I look at her exposed breast and swallow, the buttons already lose themselves.
Is this part of seducing me going to change me? How ridiculous, she sit up and the hand of the shirt drop half way, I couldn’t take this carelessness anymore
Picking up the blanket, I use it to cover her body, she look at me confused, sleep still evident in those eyes ” don’t go naked without my permission ”
” Huh” she look at herself then use the blanket to cover her body properly, her face red from embarrassment ” I didn’t mean to ”
” Your hair is messy ”
” I just woke up you know ” she look at me while frowning but that couldn’t remove the image of what happened earlier from my head
” Why am I on the floor ”
She shrug ” maybe you needed comfort from me ”
” Your mouth has gotten sharp, haven’t it ” I look at her in a way of daring her to speak more ” one more stupid word, I will cut your tongue out ”
” That’s awful ” she smile and I frown ” good morning Frankenstein, what will you like for breakfast, I can prepare anything”
Standing up from the floor, my towel drop from my waist, leaving me naked…. can’t believe I didn’t put on any cloth last night, my gaze meet rose who eyes is wide open
Oh yes, am hard.
” It’s just morning erection, don’t flatter yourself” I mumble before moving to the bathroom and shutting the door
” I will make breakfast for you ”
” Hmmm” not replying, I made sure to wash my body properly, by the time I step out of the bathroom, she is gone, I didn’t bother to call maids this time…..I put on a black shirt and white singlet, grab my phone
It’s been a month since I visited my hospital, have been so busy with rose that I barely think of something else.
Moving downstairs, I walk towards the dining hall, Roger already eating ” you look refresh Frankenstein” he mumble but I choose not to answer him ” ignoring huh”
Pulling out a chair, I sit down but before I could open up my plate, little red proceeded in pushing them away and setting another plate for me, I look up and notice how bright she is smiling ” I cooked for you ”
” I refuse eating that ”
” Please ” she begged
Roger gaze did waver from us, no, he kept staring and am sensing hatred from it ” it’s toasted bread, tea and some eggs, I also prepared a sandwich ”
” This is my breakfast?”
She nod ” yes ” when she bend down slightly, her shirt kind of lift up a little, am pretty sure Roger got a glimpse of it and it angered me
” Come here ” holding her hand, I pull her close to me and made her sit on my lap ” eat ”
” Huh ” she look confused, her cheek red ” but it’s for you ”
” Eat before I lose it rose ” I watch her lift up the tea cup, she took a sip but I stop her before she could swallow it ” give me your mouth ” she look at Roger and then me, she is shy
Turning her head to my direction, I kiss her and in the process, drink the tea from her mouth, this time around, her face is hot red
Roger gaze meet mine and I frown at how badly he want to hurt her.
Ignoring him, I collect the sandwich from her hand, eat and boy, it tasted good ” you are good at cooking little red” she is still staring at me, I lick my lips and look at her ” it’s delicious”
After my past word, I watch Roger stand up and leave the mansion…..that was a success.
Dropping the sandwich I realize she is still staring at me, looking at her, I furrow my brows ” what is it little red?” My words seem to have made her cheek even more red.
Is she sick?
