Here in the depths of Hell, Belial sits on his throne pondering over his past misfortunes. Despite being the ruler of the third circle of Hell, Belial had lost all joy in enjoying the misery of his hellish domain. He wanted to roam and enjoy the spoils of the earth like Satan and the others but thanks to the interference from Riley with some of the witches as back-up, Belial couldn’t get what he wanted.
After his last setback in the hands of Riley, Belial had given all hopes in his desired quest but then the devil king started noticing something strange that soon caught his attention.

Ever since Evlyn showed up, the pits of hell had been piling up tremendously with the souls of those condemned to hell. Belial who had noticed this unusual occurrence soon became curious and then tasked one of his most trusted demon servant Eligos to find out what was going on and after months of waiting for results, Belial finally got to satisfy his curiosity.
Presently as Belial was sitting on his throne fuming with rage and anger, Eligos appears into the blazing chamber and bows before the him. After sensing Eligos’s presence, Belial’s bright green eyes soon shifts towards him. He remains quiet for a while before he finally speaks.

Belial ➡ Eligos! Tell me what’s going on?
.

Eligos ➡ It seems quite a lot has happened since the defeat of the Diabolic 5. A new potential ally has risen and from what I saw, it’s utter chaos and mayhem in the human world.
.

Belial ➡ Interesting. So who’s this new potential ally you mentioned?
.

Eligos ➡ It’s Evlyn, my lord.
.

Belial ➡ EVLYN!? She’s back? Wasn’t she sealed by Solomon?
.

Eligos ➡ She’s free my lord. She’s the reason behind this unusual circumstances.
.

Belial ➡ Tell me Eligos! What’s happening in the human world?
.

Eligos ➡ The world is on the edge, my lord. Evlyn has been busy and she’s giving everyone a hard time. Some of the witches haves tried opposing her but they haven’t succeeded.
.

Belial ➡ (laughs) Interesting!
.

Eligos ➡ Bur there’s something that you should know my lord. It seems like Evlyn has some help, I don’t know from who but I’m sure it’s from one of the devil lords.
.

Belial ➡ I see, anything else?
.

Eligos ➡ Yes. There’s another witch who rivals Evlyn in power, she’s yet to reach her potential but she could be the only thing that can stop her.
.

Belial ➡ And who is this witch?
.

Eligos ➡ Riley’s daughter, Ebinoluwa.
.

Belial ➡ His daughter!?! (growls) She’s an infinite witch too?
.

Eligos ➡ Yes my lord and his son is an Anti-magic caster.
.

Belial ➡ (low growl) Riley femi. That human has a debt to pay and I would give anything to torture that bastard in this blazing pits of my domain. That reminds me.. What about Christen?
.

Eligos ➡ She’s going through some changes her. I believe she’s starting to become the witch she’s always meant to be.
.

Belial ➡ (laughs) WONDERFUL!!! I bet Riley is having second thoughts about her now.
.

Eligos ➡ My lord, his affection for her hasn’t changed at all. In fact, he’s supporting her however he can.
.

Belial ➡ (roars angrily) BASTARD!!!! First, he steals my love interest, then he foils my plans twice. No matter, I will get back at that filthy human but for now, I need to get hold of Evlyn. She might be the one to help me get what I want.
.

Suddenly in that moment, Belial senses a chilling sinister presence in his domain and before long he hears a cold vicious laughter which echoes all around. Angered by the unexpected appearance, Belial smashes his huge fist forcefully on his throne making his whole chamber to tremble.
Shortly after that show of brute force from Belial’s part, Lucifer appears out of nowhere standing before his fellow dark ally.

Lucifer ➡ Oh Belial..(chuckles)..you’re quite the drama.
.

Belial ➡ Lucifer you snake!!! How dare you enter my domain?
.

Lucifer ➡ Last I checked, we’re fallen angels damned to this place and in here, there’s no boundaries, no rules, just pain and suffering (laughs)
.

Belial ➡ Keep it in mind that I’m still stronger than you.
.

Lucifer ➡ I know but at least I have access to the human world and you don’t.
.

Pissed by Lucifer’s statement, Belial roars angrily and launches himself at Lucifer and decapitates him with his claws. Despite Belial’s brutal assault , Lucifer’s head immediately return to it’s rightful place after which he continues to taunt Belial.
.

Lucifer ➡ You fool! Have you forgotten that we cannot kill each other no matter how hard we try. God has cursed us with immortality so that we can remain here for all eternity and when the world ends, we’ll also burn like those condemned humans in your pit. Holy objects are the only things that can kill us.
.

Belial ➡ Why are you here?
.

Lucifer ➡ I couldn’t help but feel your jealousy over this petty human Riley but that’s not why I’m here. I know what you’re planning.
.

Belial ➡ So?
.

Lucifer ➡ I wouldn’t get involved if I were you. This is Satan’s game not you.
.

Belial ➡ SATAN ?? I should have known. That bastard always has his hands in everything. Well, I won’t be intimidated by him.
.

Lucifer ➡ This is why nobody wants you out in the human world. You’re too impulsive and unstable. Your chaotic nature is not good for business.
.

Belial ➡ Business!? What business?
.

Lucifer ➡ Satan has created the perfect system to lure and mislead the humans to their doom and that has been very successful. You on the other hand want to do things the old way, which is terrorizing the humans and putting fear into their hearts.
.

Belial ➡ So what is wrong with that?
.

Lucifer ➡ That’s the problem. Times have changed and we devils have to stop doing things the old way. If we were to act like you, humans will do what we want them to avoid and that’s serving God. (Laughs)
.

Belial ➡ What’s funny?
.

Lucifer ➡ Do you remember when we protested against giving the humans free will? Who would have thought it would be our greatest advantage.
.

Belial ➡ What are you saying?
.

Lucifer ➡ Free will is the very doom of humans. Those ungrateful worms think that they’re special and in their ignorance, some of them dared to deny the existence of the Almighty while some do what he had told them not to do. Satan used that against them and now a lot of them are paying for it.
.

Belial ➡ How does Satan’s system work and how did he brainstorm all this idea?
.

Lucifer ➡ Adam’s wife Eve was the first guinea pig. Satan tested her to see if his plan would work. He figured out that free will came with one certain setback and that setback is curiosity and with it comes personal satisfaction. Despite the warnings, Eve didn’t care, she wanted just to satisfy her own curiosity and look at where that landed her with Adam. Free will also came with another set back and that setback was zero tolerance for limitations or restrictions. Humans don’t like being limited or restricted to something else, they desire for more and before you know it, their wants became unlimited. So with that, Satan set his system in place and thanks to that, most of the humans will be joining us here when that day comes.

Belial ➡ And how does Evlyn fit into all this?
.

Lucifer ➡ She’s just like a boost. To Satan, she’s nothing more but an entertainment. He’s just using her to amuse himself and once he’s done… (chuckles)

Belial ➡ So he’s using her?
.

Lucifer ➡ Of course. That’s what we devils do.

Belial ➡ If that’s the case. I want in as well.

Lucifer ➡ Stay out of this Belial.

Belial ➡ I won’t. I’m tired of staying on the sidelines.
.

Lucifer ➡ Mark my words, you’ll regret it.
.

After that statement, Lucifer disappears out of sight and as soon as he was gone, Belial gets off his throne and then walks around his chamber for a while before setting his sights on Eligos giving him some order.
.

Belial ➡ Eligos. Go back to the human world and keep an eye on what Evlyn’s doing. Something tells me that she might set her sights on someone else for help.
.

Eligos ➡ But didn’t lord Lucifer say she has help?
.

Belial ➡ (chuckles) Satan is the biggest snake of us all. If he’s using Evlyn then I’m very sure that her use will soon run it’s course. Go and do as I’ve ordered you or better yet.. Go to her and let her know what she’s into.

Eligos ➡ As you wish, my lord.

🌹 EBINOLUWA 🌹

It’s been two months had passed since the unexpected attack from Evlyn’s followers and so far so good, things have only been getting worse. Despite being victorious over Evlyn’s followers, there was a lot of casualties and losses. To put it shortly, the victory was all in vain.
Although, not everyone felt the way I felt especially the likes of Aunt Rose and other witches/wizards cause to them, human lives didn’t matter at this point. Evlyn’s followers disappeared after their loss, they went completely off the grid and just when it seems like peace would reign for a little while, something unexpected occured.

A week after the chaotic invasion from Evlyn’s followers, the whole world began face large scale calamity. All of earth’s natural resources was slowly withering away, the plants were either dying or being eaten and the crops were being destroyed. As if that wasn’t bad enough, most of the food manufacturing companies in the world were destroyed by mysterious fire outbreaks. It didn’t take long for the whole to be thrown into a state of panic.
With the shortage of food supply, the economy’s inflation soon rose up and the price of food stuff became very expensive. People that didn’t have enough money to buy for themselves or their families started to steal. The situation was very bad but this was nothing compared to what came next. The few weeks later, a plague suddenly struck the world hitting it like a storm. The plague began simultaneously into two different continents which was here in Africa and over Asia. With the plague and hunger hitting people all at once, there was a global unrest which the government could barely control. Everyone thought that this occurrences were natural but not me, something was off about it and it didn’t take me long to realize what was going on.
I could remember well what Evlyn said the last time I saw her and from what’s going on, her plan to open the gates of hell is already in play. The first thing that she said would happen was global hunger and a plague that would drive humans to the edge. Immediately I figured out all of this occurrences was Evlyn’s plan, I decided to notify the Aunt Rose about it but it turns out she was fully aware of it and had already reported the situation to the Supreme witch who was now taking measures with her council on how to prevent Evlyn’s plan from ever happening.

Presently, here I was alone in my bedroom feeling bored right out of my skull. There was nothing for me to do and there was nobody at home to keep me company. Junior was in Hadiza’s place undergoing some training, Morenike, she and Chris went to Dugbe market to do some shopping and my parents have been MIA since morning doing God knows what. I was hoping I could get some company from Rotimi but lately he hasn’t reached out or contacted me at all. I tried calling him but I decided not to fearing that he might start taking me for granted but all of that changed when Solomon appeared before me.

Solomon ➡ Are you going to sit here all day or are you going to reach out to your lover and have fun?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Stay out of my business, Solomon. Besides, I won’t give Rotimi any chances to start taking me for granted. That’s how men behave once the lady starts to give.
.

Solomon ➡ Your mother played hard to get but there were moments she dropped the ball and let herself loose. You should do the same or else, some witch or mermaid might seduce your boyfriend.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi wouldn’t dare cheat on me.
.

Solomon ➡ (chuckles) Don’t deceive yourself little girl. Last I checked, you’re not the only stunning witch around. Do yourself a favor live your life while you still have the chance. Nothing lasts forever.
.

Solomon disappeared after that and as soon as he was gone, I decided to call Rotimi and invite him over to the house. Just as I was about to reach out for my phone, I heard a knock on the door. In that moment, I got out of bed, teleported myself downstairs and opened the door to see who it was and to my surprise, it was Rotimi.
My heart skipped a beat out of excitement but then I noticed something off about Rotimi. He wasn’t his usual self at all, he was awfully quiet and his face was clouded with disappointment. As our eyes met, I felt this awful sensation inside like a bad feeling.

Rotimi ➡ Hi Ebinoluwa.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi…

Rotimi ➡ Can I come in?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Sure.

Rotimi slowly walked into the house after I gave him entrance, he stood still looking downwards and avoiding my gaze completely. Something was wrong with Rotimi and I could feel it, I’ve never seen him like this before and all I could feel was pity for him. In that moment, I walked over to Rotimi and grabbed hold of his right hand and then sat with him on the couch. We sat silently for a while before I began to ask him if he was okay.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Babe, is something bothering? Talk to me.
.

Rotimi ➡ Something is wrong with me Ebi.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Tell me what is it. I’m sure we can figure something out.
.

Suddenly, Rotimi slipped his hands away from mine and then stood up from the couch turning his back on me. As I was busy wondering why he acted like this, I noticed blood stains on the palm of my left hand. I was confused and surprised at first but then I immediately took a good look at Rotimi’s right hand and saw that it was stained with blood as well. In that moment, I stood up from the couch and approached Rotimi grabbing hold of his right hand once again ; he trembled as I held up both our hands showing him the blood stains.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi, what did you do?
.

Rotimi ➡ I killed someone. It was an accident.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi.. It’s okay. Let’s just sit down and talk about it.
.

Rotimi ➡ IT’S NOT OKAY. I killed a kid, Ebinoluwa. I killed an innocent kid and I don’t know how or why. Something is wrong with me.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Just tell me what’s wrong with you, maybe I can help.
.

Rotimi ➡ You can’t help me Ebinoluwa. Nobody can.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What are you saying? Babe, what is going on? Please talk to me.
.

Rotimi ➡ I’m sorry but we can’t see each other again….We’re done,.. It’s over.
.

My heart felt heavy as I said that, I couldn’t believe Rotimi was breaking up with me. I tried to compose myself but I suddenly felt weak and dizzy. I couldn’t even felt my legs in that moment. There’s no way that this is just normal. Something or somebody must be behind this and I know deep down that Rotimi still loves him. I saw the look in his eyes as he uttered those words of break up and he was really torn up about it even though he didn’t show it.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Rotimi.. Babe, don’t do this. Whatever it is that is bothering you, I’m sure we can figure it out.
.

Rotimi ➡ I’m sorry but it’s for you own good.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ STOP IT. STOP SAYING THAT. What’s so good about being heart broken and dumped? I know you still love me but what’s going on that you’re willing to throw me away like this?
.

Rotimi ➡ Your safety is all that matters to me. I’m going through some bad changes and I can’t let you get hurt because of that. I’m sorry Ebinoluwa but this is how it is. Goodbye.
.

Rotimi left the house after that, I wanted to follow him but I couldn’t, my heart was broken and too sad to think straight. In that moment, I fell on the couch and began to cry silently. I wanted to hold my emotions back but the pressure was just too much. After shedding tears for some minutes, I became quiet and began to think of what transpired between Rotimi and I. This was surely unexpected but crying wouldn’t bring him back to me. Something is definitely going on with Rotimi and I’m going to find out why.
Shortly after I made up my mind, I rose up from the couch trying to head back to my bedroom but then in that moment, Junior appeared in the house. I tried to clean my face but it was already too late.

Riley Jr ➡ Ah. Wetin I miss? Rotimi don dump you ni?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Commot for my face before I lose my temper. Nosy parker. Mtcheew!!
.

Riley Jr ➡ (laughs) Transition period don come. Inside life.
.

Junior’s words made me boil with rage but I paid no heed to him. Losing my temper on him would be a waste of time, my main focus now is to find out what exactly is going on with Rotimi.
