❤️Chapter 13❤️

Where has she gone to? Kalila thought as both her and Diana walks nearby. Few minutes of search and yet they haven’t seen Roseanna.
Soon, a car light seems to be coming their way as they move out.
Jason drives into the school compound and into the packing space. He turns off the car headlights and ignition key and alighted the car. He moves to the back door and brings out Roseanna.

Diana who turns to look around, sees Jason alight from his car. She sighs but turns back again where he was and sees him carrying someone out of the back door. Trying to get a glimpse of it was, she gasps.
“Roseanna?” She calls out to the hearing of Kalila who turns in her direction.
Diana runs over Jason who holds Roseanna in his arm. “What did you do to her? Where did you carry her to?” She walks closer as she examines Roseanna. “Why is she unconscious?”
“How is she? What happened to her?” Kalila who had just reached there asked Worriedly.
Roseanna slowly opens her eyes as she stares at Jason who held her. She breathes in deeply and closes her eyes before opening it back.
“Are you okay now?” Jason asks Roseanna who made a move signalling she wants him to drop her down which he did slowly and gently still holding her hands.

“Thank you” she muttered, Jason nods, releasing his hand from her and heads back to his car, while Kalila and Diana stares perplexed.
The night reading was over and students were back at the hostel.
The trois walks back to their hostel. Diana who is confused looks at Roseanna, “What actually happened and why telling him thank you, I mean where have you been?”
Kalila looks at Roseanna requiring same answer.
Roseanna breathes in and narrates to them the incident as they widened their eyes in surprise.
” Woah, he is actually a nice guy… but… who will have the guts to thinking on kidnapping you? ” Diana exclaims.
“I have no idea who did that and am just confused as you are” Roseanna replies.
Diana puff out some air from her lips and rolled her eyes. “We surely need to know who is behind this”.

Chapter 14

At Starlet House
Starlet lays on her bed and stares at the POP, she and smiles to herself for a job well done as it was without much stress, then a call came through her phone.
“Hello Alvin, how did it go?” Starlet asks receiving the call.
“It didn’t go as planned,… someone saved her and mercilessly beat my boys and they are just returning now”
“Argh… What the f*ck . Who dared save her”
“I don’t know and I’m sorry”. Alvin replies hanging up the phone call.
Starlet squeezes the bed cover and she gets very angry. Once again, Roseanna had gotten away from her fingers.

At the school premises
Jason and his friends are seated each doing their own activities. Charles is playing video games with his phone, both Jason and Nicole were glancing at their books but few minutes later Jason seems to stare at nothing.
“Dude, anything wrong?” Nicole asks looking at Jason.
“Nah, why will anything be wrong when he is a superhero saving his queen from the hands of her abd*cters last night” Charles giggles as be hits Jason by the shoulder, teasingly not aware of Starlet presence.

“Save who?” Starlet interjects
“I mean, he saved Roseanna yesterday. You know she was almost kidnapped and yes the hero of the day saves her”.
Starlet looks at Jason in shock, yes she was aware that the ki*dnapping didn’t succeed but Jason?. ” Y… Yo… You… Saved… Rose… Anna?” she stammers blinking her rapidly.
Jason stares at her confused by her utmost facial expression and her sentence. ” Any problem?”
” Ohh… not… really” Starlet says as she looks away from his gaze. ” I mean… you… You are such a… a… hero” she utters, forcing a smile out of her lips.

Rick High School:
Mathematics lectures is on, as the lecturer takes his time to explain some terms before giving some work examples to the students.
Classwork is given to the students to solve to be submitted during break session while the lecturer leaves the class.

Roseanna solves her but struggles to arrive at the right answer. She was sure her method and steps of solving was correct but she can’t find out what was wrong In the solving.
Jason passes by and sees her having some difficulty. He takes her book from the desk and goes through it while Roseanna stares at him. Jason picks his pen and corrects something and then gives her back.
Roseanna takes the book from him, she looks into the book to see what he had done. “Ohh, he helped change the basic sign from addition to subtraction.

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Starlet struggles with the whole mathematical expression. She didn’t even know where to start from. She sighs as she keeps on wringing her paper out of her book. She looks up from her desk but sees Jason standing at the other side of the class.
Who is he talking with? She stands up, taking her book with her and walks over to where Jason stood.

Jason stood while Roseanna goes through her mathematics classwork and finally gets her answer correctly.
“Thank you, I really appreciate, by now I would still be stuck up trying to get the answer” Roseanna thanks him as she smiles.
” It’s my pleasure to help. You were right in your method and steps so missing the basic expression isn’t wrong, one has to make mis…”
Before completing his sentence, Starlet cuts in, “Jason, can you help me with the classwork. I can’t solve it, it is extremely difficult” she pouts and rolls her eyes, placing her book on his hands
Jason sighs as he glances at his wrist watch and stares at no where in particular.
“Will you help me?” Starlet pleaded again, placing her arms around his waist

Roseanna, picks her books a6 stands up to leave, uttering another thank you.
“I don’t have time again Starlet, I have my basket ball lesson to attend right now” Jason tells her.
Jason takes his book from the other desk and gives it to Roseanna.
” I am already late for practice. Submit mine with yours.” Jason says and turn to leave.
Starlet glares at Roseanna who immediately leaves there to avoid furthermore embarrassment.
